Alright, I wish I would've looked up reviews before ordering because now i'm here. So I placed an order on the first, I get the confirmation and everything is fine. Except, after the 2-3 days of processing, I hear nothing. I call on the fifth, they say that it is in stock and should ship out tomorrow. I wait... 5 more days. What gives? So I call the second time and it turns out they don't have it in stock and they're waiting for the distributor. They might get it on the 20th. Greeeeeat. So I won't get it until the end of the month. I wanted to wear this wig to an event, which passed a day ago. I won't even have it for my birthday now. The people at the call center are nice but the way the company handles orders is a crapshoot. Never ordering from them again, I hope I get the wig at all.

You might not actually get your wig until a month or more later. Customer service sucks.
The wig did not resemble the photo, was full of static electricity, and included a row of hair in the back below the crown that stuck straight out. When attempting to return the wig, I followed the instructions and upon entering the order number got a notification that it could not be returned because it was a final sale! This was not stated ANYWHERE when I was ordering the wig. I have rechecked my order info on their site to confirm that, and there is NOTHING that states the sale is final. They are a scam site and nothing more than rip-off artists. I could kick my own $#*! for not checking them out BEFORE purchasing from them. I've now spent $142 on something that I will just throw away! I wish I could have given them a zero-star or negative-star rating but had to select at least one star in order to write a review! DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM! I'm attaching a screen shot of the order receipt and a pic of the wig I thought I would receive. Unfortunately, I'm not able to take a selfie of myself wearing the trashy clump of hair I received because I have already put it where it belongs….in the trash!
I had the same issue I ordered a wig and did not hear anything I called and they said it was Back ordered Ok I said BUT because they had my credit card they sent me another color (which I did not ask for) and charged my credit card! They said send it back and they will refund everything including shipping charges They have NOT given me a full refund and are now given me the run around! I will not order anymore from them! They have lost my business

This was my first purchase with wigs.com and it was a lesson learned. The wig was misrepresented in color on the site. I own and have purchased countless wigs for productions and never had this happen to this extreme. Even if it was the designer's photo, it is the companys responsibility as a retail shop to verify that photos are represented truthfully.
I am undeniably dissatisfied and frustrated with wigs.com. Through every step they have failed in assisting a displeased client. As a business owner this could have been a new source where I purchase wigs for all productions I costume. However, after this experience I cannot be trust the company or customer service. When I called they offered no solution or apology. The customer service rep blamed my computer screen for the miss representation of color. I know better to look at the color in different lights and sources.
You have to pay for your own shipping to return a wig; they dont even put a label in the box. I also had tracking placed on my return and they received it almost 14 days ago. I still have not been refunded the money. I e-mailed them directly 4 days ago and never received a response. Shame on their customer service.
If you ever have a problem with your order get ready to never be able to reach customer service. They will jerk you around and charge a huge restocking fee even if the problem is their fault.

I bought two wigs from Wigs.com and the color wasn't right so I returned them for store credit. The credit was supposed to be given within 5 business days after the returns were received. Over a month went by before I was given a store credit for ONE of the wigs and that was only after numerous phone calls. TWO MORE MONTHS went by and even more phone calls to the company before I was notified that my credit card was issued a PARTIAL refund for the second wig. I called them and wanted to know why they had issued a refund and kept part of my money when I had asked for a store credit? They apologized and ONE MONTH LATER finally issued a credit the amount I was due. Funny thing is I have never seen a refund on my credit card that they told me was issued for the second wig. So, here we go again! It being many months later and still I'll be fighting them for my credit!
Had a pretty bad experience with the customer service. Their return/exchange policy is very vague. They launched a sale within a day when I purchased a wig and they are not honoring to price match.
They double bill you, and when you call them up they say it will take 24 to 48 hours to take the extra charge of buyer beware! Never heard of a company doing that.
Brit, the only way it is possible to be double billed is to submit an order twice. There is no other way. The good news... If this happened to you it will be rectified. Unfortunately, it does take your bank a day or two to credit your account. We don't have any control of this but we do credit back any duplicate orders immediately. We want to make sure you are taken care of so please feel free to contact us directly if you are still dissatisfied. We will do what is right to make sure you are satisfied. The pictures are lovely, but the product is bad! The wig I ordered was too big and didn't look at all like the picture. It was also very poor quality.
After receiving product that does not match what is advertised TWICE they kept the money sent to them over $300. Better make sure you have style and color dialed in from a previous purchase ELSEWHERE before you order from this outfit. I am filing a case with the BBB.
I have been a customer of Wigs.com for the past three years and during this time, I have almost always been satisfied with the quality of wig brands they stock, plus their discounted prices and numerous special sales really can't be beat.
So, what keeps Wigs.com from receiving a five-star rating? Two issues: Despite their big, bold declaration of "Free Shipping Over $100" on their site's homepage, Wigs.com will not honor this offer if they are conducting a special sale-e.g. If you purchase a $300 wig at 25-30% off, you are still charged a shipping fee. Also, if you have acquired enough points for a store discount coupon ($5 to $20 off) through their Customer Loyalty Program, you cannot use both a coupon and a special sale offer at the same time-you can only use one or the other. Not both. Seems unfair, but at least Wigs.com has apparently dropped its ridiculous "wig re-stocking fee" if you return an unworn wig to them, so this is definitely a good move on their part. Maybe they'll come around to changing their other policy issues I have a problem with.
I will never order from wigs.com again. First of all, they list thousands of wigs & color combinations on their website as though they are currently available. However, virtually every wig I wanted was on backorder for 1-2 months. There is no mention of this on their website or with the product listing or even for specific colors that are backordered like you see on other sites. I submitted my orders and each time I never received notification it was backordered until I called to check on the status of my order a day or two later. A few of the people who work at the customer service number seem to be too bothered by customer calls, and too busy to check what colors are currently in stock. One girl even gave me a hard time because I was trying to figure out what day my wig would be shipped out. I have sent three messages to Wigs.com using their website's 'Contact Us' feature but am yet to receive a reply. This was an almost 2 week ordeal just trying to get one wig in my hands. Meanwhile I was sitting at home with no hair due to a medical issue I'm currently experiencing. Never again!
In my opinion, Wigs.com is a horrible place to do business with. They claim to stock thousands of wigs but each time I placed an order with them it was "out of stock." I don't believe that they stock wigs, I think the only wigs that they have on hand are the wigs that their customers, who are dissatisfied, return to them and they of course charge their customers who return their merchandise a re-stocking fee but re-sell those same wigs at full price to the next unsuspecting customer. After 4 weeks of waiting and absolutely no voluntary communications from Wigs.com, the wig finally shows up. Their customer service reps are rude: they are offended if you try to find out why everything is always on backorder and equally offended if you dare to inquire about when I might expect to receive the merchandise that I ordered. I have yet to receive a response to that query that makes any sense. Most responses are full of fumbles and untruths. I decided to Google reviews for Wigs.com and there are quite a few review websites on Wigs.com and the reviews reflect my experiences with Wigs.com perfectly - 99% of the reviews were extremely negative. It appears that Wigs.com is consistent in their lousy service and rude customer service. Does anyone know of a good online wig store with a good product, timely service and customer service reps who are helpful?
Pamela, We regret your experience was negative. I understand how frustrating "out of stock" can be. We have the same frustrations. Because we offer over 1,000 products and each one has 10-20 colors... we are not able to stock all items. As a matter of fact, we only strive to stock the best sellers in the best selling colors. We DO NOT SELL unsatisfactory wigs which are returned to us as new wigs. Most wigs are sent back to the manufacturer. We have an outlet site as well which may also sell them. ALL wigs.com wigs are new and manufacturer pristine wigs. You are correct in noting there are several backorder issues with some of our manufacturers. This is unfortunately a problem we have little control in except to try to order stock of the best sellers which experience lots of backorders. We are working to manage our inventory better and know this is not the kind of service we want you to experience.
As for the rude client service representatives... all our calls are recorded. Please reach out to me and with your phone number, we can review the calls and correct this problem. Client services is where we are focus on the most for this year. Our reps have received thorough training and you will not find better information anywhere else on line... but if they are not kind and accommodating... no one will care how much we know! Basically a scam... I highly recommend against buying from this website. Where to start... I bought a few different colors of one of the best-reviewed wigs on their site, try on and see which color suited me best (and return the rest). Well, one arrived damaged (rip in the netting), and the rest were of terrible quality -- matted hair that looked like it belonged to a used/cheap child's doll (this if for $100+ wigs by the way). Instead of the hair lying flat and going in one direction like normal human hair, the wigs poufed up and stuck out in all directions like a bird's nest. The netting was also obviously visible on the top (crown) of all the wigs. Nobody but a desperate streetwalker would wear such a poor-quality and obvious hairpiece a like this. Well, no matter, I thought -- I'll just return them. WRONG! Wigs.com charges a TWENTY-FIVE PERCENT RE-STOCKING FEE on *all* returns! There was no warning of such a charge when I ordered the wigs -- and now I'm out a hundred-plus dollars even if I do ship the wigs back. What a joke. I highly recommend against buying from wigs.com.
Final note: SAVE YOUR TRACKING NUMBER if you do return things... I have no proof of my suspicions but they seem to have suspiciously self-serving "problems" receiving (and thus refunding) returned merchandise... If you don't have your tracking # you're SOL.

WIGS.COM WILL NOT ACCEPT RETURNS ON CLEARANCE WIGS. NO MATTER WHAT. I WILL NEVER ORDER FROM THEM AGAIN. YOU SHOULD BE ABLE TO RETURN IF YOU ARE NOT SATISFIED.
We launched our upgraded site which is much more efficient and secure. The biggest improvement is we no longer have restocking fees and you can return for free to get full merchandise credit. However, we have no clearance items. All clearance, overstock, and open box items are sold on wigoutlet.com only. Of course, the deep discounts of up to 75% on many clearance items do come with a no return stipulation. This is very common at most all retail stores.
We regret you are frustrated. Please know, wigs.com does not sell clearance items and you can return any item on the site which is unused.
I have been a long time user of easiXtend elite remy hair, I absolutely I'm in love with the hair. I am in the cosmotology field and I can tell great quality of hair and this is it! But with that being said I am highly disappointed with how I received the hair. It should be in a box and when you open the box the hair should be in a ponytail holder with a hair net wraped around the hair. This is not how I received my package! My box was ripped with scotch tape holding it together, and when I opened the box the hair was all over the place, not neatly put together! I was so sad :( It's like receiving a Tiffany's ring but the beautiful blue box is damaged, which then makes it not as special.
I then called wigs.com and was on hold for 13mins... When the woman finally answered I told her the situation and how sad/disappointed I was. She then told me I could return the hair which would have been ok, but I have a big event the next day and I need the hair. Then she then told me I could have 20% off my next order! But can not be used with another coupon... there are always discounts in this site which is awesome but then I'm not really receiving anything for my sadness of have some troll mess with my new hair!
Over the years I have spent thousands of dollars on this brand have referred many people including my salon to sell the tape in hair extensions. I just wished wigs.com would have stepped up to the sistuation instead of saying "sorry, we are a third party sales and have no control over this"
Jill, we apologize for your inconvenience. It is disappointing to see you were not taken care of to your satisfaction. I absolutely agree with the Tiffany ring analogy! There is something special about the opening of a package you have been anticipating. There is no excuse and though it was just the box and the presentation of the hair... it does affect the experience.

I ordered a longer 18" lace front wig, which took about a couple weeks or just under to arrive (No big deal... I ordered from the United States). After I placed my order, I suddenly got a sick feeling inside, because silly me decided to read the reviews after the fact. The reviews were horrific for the most part... so I just decided to hope for the best and prepared myself to eat the cost; as a lesson learned. Having said that... The wig arrived, and to my relief and surprise, it was actually a nice piece! It has plenty of hair on a well constructed cap, as well as having the wavy style I had hoped for. Now, for the bad... The color was completely out of line with what was pictured in the photo... of course I suspected the majority of the photo's they use, not the actual pieces, but more so there to serve as an inspired style, color and length. But still, they should be far more mindful that for example if I see a level 5 or 6 brown with golden highlights in a photo, I would expect the actual color to be in the ball park... in my case (as a professional colorist) I received a level 7 warm red/brown solid hair color. Not at all the color I would have chosen, however, at that point I was thrilled that I at least received a decent wig over all for the $120.00 I paid to the company. With a few tricks of my own... I can make this work for what I need it for... but some may not be as fortunate or talented as I am. So... would I order again? No... unfortunately I have learned a lesson, that as it pertains to hair... an in person purchase is a much safer avenue, unless of course you have already developed a level of trust with a vendor. Had the color been closer to what was advertised, I would have probably taken another chance and placed a future order; to be fair. I gave three stars, simply because the item came in a reasonable amount of time, and I did receive a decent product.

Color is the most difficult part of buying online as monitor display varies and when the wigs are shot by us or the manufacturer, the lighting in the photoshoot plays a crucial role in how the color is displayed.
We do however, photograph the exact wig and color which we display, so they are the actual pieces we are selling. It is a blessing that you have the skill to make a color work for you after it didn't meet your expectations. Not many have that gift. So for future reference should you decide to trust us again... we try to address the color issue in a few different ways. Color ring loaner program, and the tricolor images which give a better idea. The good news is the color numbering is pretty universal with all the manufacturers. The numbers (i. E. browns 2-8) are pretty true to form with all the manufacturers. Totally understand your frustration. We are also frustrated. Most all of the manufacturers have a very antiquated system of letting us know what is in stock in a timely manner. Many times we order it from them and they just dont ship it to us and dont tell us it is on backorder until we reach out... so this big delay translates over to you. I totally feel like the one star is deserved... but want to let you know that our team does care and are working on implementing a very costly system to work with the top brands to get a better grasp on their inventory so we can be more accurate for you. No other online seller will have the product if we cannot get it, so you are not missing out on an opportunity to buy it elsewhere. Our new credit, refund, and backorder system implementation is in the process... i know this does not solve your issue today, but within the next few months.
