Don't buy ANYTHING from this company!
I ordered 5 things all of which were put on hold as a security measure (despite Wayfair confirming over the phone money had reached them from my account), I then had to send screen shots of my bank statement which I felt really uncomfortable with, eventually I got the items taken off hold but Wayfair didn't actually remove the hold so all items were then late by a week.
One went out of stock during the hold period so I cancelled it and two of the items had parts missing.
I phoned asking for replacement parts and was told they would arrive in 4 days but the confirmation email says they are expected 29 days from now. They are useless!
There's also no one you can speak to who can actually do anything about this. It's "company policy" to be maddening unhelpful and totally incompetent it seems.
DO NOT BUY ANYTING FROM WAYFAIR!
I tried to get a line of credit for the company that I work for and they require my personal SS number. I called them and was told that they have a business line of credit and I shouldn't have to do that, but they kept connecting me to the same automated phone system and nobody I spoke to gave two... ts and it wasted 40minutes of my productivity. It's really the apathy and the unfriendly navigation of the website that is so aggravating. I'm sure that dealing with them for returns or other issues is equally as frustrating, time consuming and fruitless. I'm out.
I just would like everyone to know that Wayfair is awesome. Their customer service rep Matt was great! He handled my request so quick & easy!
I shop a lot online since I am in a wheelchair & this was such a great experience, I had to write about iit
Wayfair renames merchandise and sells them for more money than other sites. Due diligence is required because you will wind up paying anywhere from 25% to 40% more for the same merchandise. Somehow this legal.
I was mislead on 3 pc. Sofa. Shown in stock. I ordered in Jan. Then they placed me in back order Status. 3 times. Comes from China now said wont get untill May. Forget it. I could of got great deals on sofas elsewhere, and had my sofa by superbowl. Waste of my time and big inconvience.
Ordered a filing cabinet but kept on sending just a shelf 2x. Waited for almost 3 months for an item that never arrived! Poor customer service and delivery! No resolution. Never again.
3 weeks ago I bought what the Wairfair website said was a fireplace tv stand as a "guest" at checkout. What was delivered to my house was a tv stand with only shelves. I called to replace the shelves tv stand for the fireplace, which the sister-company Joss & Main instructed me to just purchase the fireplace on THEIR website, which I did, they also said they had sent me the refund form for the shelves, once I printed the tags to return the shelves, I realized they didnt have the right information to refund me for this purchase because it was a "guest" account, they were going to refund the purchase to some random card number, after battling on the phone and through countless emails with them about this the last 3 weeks, I have come to the conclusion I am now the owner of BOTH tv stands because they cant seem to get their system to show the correct info, therefore telling me its MY fault this all happened and I will not get refunded for the product that was incorrectly sent to me. I will never purchase from Wayfair or Joss & Main again. I do not recommend you do either.
I ordered a bunkbed set for my grandchildren for Christmas, which they were so excited about getting, from Wayfair in the beginning of October of 2019. After several botched deliveries by their delivery company and very little help from Wayfair. We we the ones ALWAYS having to contact the furniture company or delivery company trying to get the correct boxes delivered. We finally gave up on that set of bunkbeds and ordered a new set through Wayfair from another company. Well guess what? They once again only delivered one of the three boxes we need. No help once again from Wayfair we are trying to work with the delivery company to get the remaining boxes. By the way today is Feb 7,2020. My grandsons are sleeping on matresses on the floor, Christmas has come and gone. I would NEVER EVER recommend buying ANYTHING from Wayfair. Their customer service is almost nonexistent. Don't put yourself through what we have gone through.
Placed order. They promised delivery on 1/29. As of 2/6 no delivery. Fed Ex says no product movement. Even worse no customer service to call. They don't recognize my user name and password. I'm stuck with denying the charge when I get my CC bill. Lesson learned, never do business with someone that doesn't publish a phone number.
I have purchased many items from this site. There coustomer service is excellent and helpful. Any problem with shipping or damages they are willing to correct it a
ASAP. I have been very pleased with this company
I can't believe how bad Wayfair is. Beyond incompetent and their customer service is even worse at a executive level. They also use XPO Logistics which are AWFUL.
If you reading this review RUN RUN very far away. If you have a pending order CANCEL and thank me later.
XPO lost my order for two days and then on delivery date 20 minutes before the latest time on the delivery they call and say they only have a mattress and no box frame that I ordered. Rejected delivery. This after nearly 3 weeks.
Wayfair on the other hand SUCKED in trying to get a refund for the rejected delivery. It took 6 calls on the same day for them to ACTUALLY process my refund. They were only going to give me a $84 refund on a $900 order because they only refunded one item NOT BOTH.
Truly pathetic on both ends.
My Grandson loves Cows. Of course now a days it is so hard to find the dang things. He is 6 1/2. Wants to decorate his room. But oh did I find stuff his favorite is his lego storage Cow. Plus they sent it to him in Texas.
Safe your time and hassle don't order through this company. They advertise one thing but receive cheap product. Their "staging" of the products are well done to distract the consumer. I have received a different colour couch and really cheaply made, they said they will schedule a pickup for the return and it's been 2 months later and I still have it sitting in my house. Paying interest on something ($2k) and three days off after they have been incapable of picking this crap item. The kick Is, that they will not refund you until the item has been shipped back. So you do the math, they take their time and continuously miss schedule multiple pickups and you're stuck with this large item in your house and paying interest on it. Go to a local store and support your local businesses that truly care. Not this huge corporation that sells misleading merchandise and use your money and time for their own personal gain.
I have ordered with wayfair in the past and was happy with the service and delivery, unfortunately I didn't go thru online reviews before ordering again. Ordered and entertainment unit on 23rd Nov 2019, which is currently advertised as order now and get it delivered by 21st Jan (3days). The original delivery date was 14th Jan. No intimation or email, called up on 13th to confirm delivery and I was told it was pushed to 21st Jan (no reason given). They did refund £65 of the £650 order after I sent a complaint email. Called up today to check if the date is still on and I've been told the delivery will now be on 4th Feb again no reason given and they didnt send any email or text telling about the delay. How in the world are they advertising a 3 day fast delivery? This I would say is fraud!
Stay away from this company.
Every item I have ever ordered has arrived damaged or not as described. Customer service are friendly but they should not have to be apologising over and over again for substandard items
I recently purchased 4 items from Wayfair and all items were either or poor quality, wrong item sent, lost items, or not as described on website. While Wayfair was great about resolving these issues, I was either out of a gift or had to wait to discover that the item was poor and then order from another place to fulfill my need, it has been nothing more of an inconvenience and hassle. I will be looking at other sites in the future knowing that there is a high probability of it not working out. It's nice to have lots of options, but useless if they are misrepresented.
I ordered some outside furniture for a "sale price" from their website. A week later they cancelled my order. Apparently the sale price was a mistake so they didn't want to sell it at that price. I spoke with two customer service people Shelby Nye (manager) and Rachel Packard (supervisor.) They both informed me that it was the right of Wayfair to do that. I find that extremely unethical. IF there is a price on the website, they should honor and not decide a week later that they didn't like the price. I will never buy from them again.
FedEx lies and Wayfair believes everything FedEx tells them.
I ordered a small rug on the 7th of the month. On the 16th FedEx put a first notice on my apartment door claiming they had made a "fourth and final delivery attempt." FedEx's online system said they had rescheduled delivery (an alleged fifth delivery attempt) for the next day, which I then canceled via the automated phone line. FedEx then claimed they made the delivery attempt anyway (no notice left), and that would be the final delivery attempt.
Wayfair then claimed FedEx was waiting for additional info from me. FedEx's automated system claimed, instead, that only the company sending the order can give additional information. I called Wayfair again and they got FedEx on the line and FedEx claimed they would make another allegedly sixth delivery attempt on the 23rd. I waited at home all day and they never buzzed my apartment door. I called Wayfair again, who again got FedEx on the line and FedEx now said there would not be any delivery (allegedly sixth) attempt today, as they already made five delivery attempts! FedEx claims the delivery person has had problems accessing my apartment. There are no barriers at all other than the door buzzer with my apartment number on it.
Wayfair and FedEx offered for me to come and pick up the package. Last time I did that I found that the local FedEx (Fargo, ND) parking lot has no signs directing customers. You have to park randomly and search around until you get to a gate where you are buzzed in. So, I just canceled this order after waiting 16 days for it, and now I have to start all over again with a new seller.
Please do not order furniture from Wayfair unless you want to play a ridiculous waiting game and then end up with subpar delivery service.
The couch I ordered was "in transit" 3 miles away from my condo for several days. On the the day it finally arrived (3 days late) I got a call from Wayfair saying FedEx should be able deliver it between 11-2 and that they would call when they got to my condo. I choose the delivery option that was supposed to be an in room delivery. They were supposed to put the couch in my living room. Did they? Nope! They didn't even call! They just decided to ditch my new couch in the middle of my condo lobby! Really? What the heck kind of crap show is this? Absolutely ridiculous!
Order #**************-1
Waiting for an adjustment on my order. Thank you. Have been in contact with customer service. Very professional.
Answer: Allison, Yes, the box that the floor lamp came in did have a picture of the lamp on it. I would ask when you order. I hope this helps. James.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
