Purchased a headboard from Wayfair
When I received it, the color was no where near the color falsely advertised. Exorbitant return fees, no help with customer service.
My order still saying preparing for shipping an have not once ship nothing Wayfair warehouse in Ontario CA need to do better with shipping peoples order out on time it's not fair yall lazy an don't wanna do your jobs people getting tired of being ripped off by you guys Wayfair warehouse management team needs to do better by the people an not themselves sad
I ordered a dining set from Wayfair.com and they sent me a shipping confirmation for the table that had a fake (none working) tracking number which made me look into the item in my Wayfair account, the message for the table showed the Item as "out of stock and unable to tell when the table would ship" however Wayfair still shipped the chairs and when I tried to call their customer service three separate times with the intention to request the order to be filled when all item were in stock, I ended up sitting on hold for a total of 4hr and never reached Wayfair customer service. As a result I decline the chairs delivery through FedEx BUT Wayfair reply in my account was to change the status of my WHOLE ORDER (including the table WITH THE FAKE TRACKING #) as delivered.
I was forced to open a case with my bank... SAVE YOURSELF A LOT OF TROUBLE AND AVOID THIS COMPANY.
I recently purchase a bed from Wayfair, but unfortunately I this was a terrible experience. The attached images clearly depict that the bed advertised by Wayfair differs from the one shipped to me. Following is why I am deeply disappointed regarding this purchase and the handling of the matter by Wayfair.
1. Despite already having paid for a handyman to remove my old bed and bring the box upstairs (as he was the person I hired to assemble the new one), I am now faced with additional expenses to hire him again to repack and bring the bed downstairs.
2. I am required to arrange my schedule to be present at home for the entire day for the pickup.
3. I am obligated to await the receipt of the bed by your company before a refund can be processed.
4. As a result, I am left without a bed and will have to resort to sleeping on the floor until I am able to purchase a replacement after the refund is processed.
Up to this point, Wayfair has taken no action to compensate for the inconvenience and distress caused, not even offering an apology.
I bought a dog stroller that won't properly stay open and the offered 30% off to keep it. I still am out money for a product that is useless and belongs in the dumpster. Will never use them again.
My outdoor pre-lit Christmas trees never arrived. When I called about the order, they were looking into the matter. In the meantime, there were plenty left in stock when I contacted them regarding its whereabouts. When they went to re-order the item on the following day, the company informed me they already ran out of stock. BTW-Their supervisors are like robots... especially this young twit who calls herself a supervisor named ASHLEY) who couldn't do anything to remedy the situation. The best she was able to do was to offer me a lousy 10% coupon off my next order. WHAT MAKES THEM THINK I"M EVER ORDERING FROM THEM AGAIN MIND YOU. What a joke especially, when I can go online and get one of their coupons for 15% off. Make certain you follow up with these idiots right away if you see your order hasn't arrived or delayed. I placed an order for 3 pieces of furniture on November 16th. An hour after submitting the order I decided to cancel and called customer service as nothing on website told me how to cancel. I was told the order was processing so I had to wait 24 hours to process a return. On the 17th I called customer service to "return" the items that I had asked to cancel and was told the table and chair "return" would cost me $125 but I could cancel the desk and chair with ottoman on the website. I immediately went back to the website and clicked the cancel button on the desk and the chair with ottoman. The desk cancellation was accepted but the chair showed pending cancellation. Today, Nov 20th I got an email from Wayfair that the chair cancellation couldn't be processed and I'd have to process a "return" with an undisclosed cancellation charge. I've gotten nowhere with customer service and an now addressing the dispute with my credit card company. I will NEVER EVER order from them again.
It's my first time ordering from them and it will be my last! Order window from shutter from them last June 8,2023. Estimated delivery is June 21st, then it became June 22nd and then June 27 and then it became July 7th and then it became Aug 7th and today! It says it will be deliver Aug 9th. I have to paused finishing my project for more than 2 months because of this unreliable website. Will never order from this place again.
Ordered a Table first week of January deliverey date second week of January. Called when it didn't arrive on the 3rd week. Was told it was lost. Then I was told it was no longer available until March. So here it is March. Didn't come so I called and they said it had too many labels on it so it was returned so now I am told they will re ship it. Hummmm let's see if it will come? To be determined... I am very upset with this company!
Ordered a table on 6/8/2920. It's almost a month now and the table still has not shipped from there warehouse. Last time I order from them. Very poor customer support.
Bought a Chaise Lounge in April 2020.
It came in and one of the parts that holds it together was incorrect size and would not fit. The directions did not help at all to identify if they were all supposed to be different sizes or descriptions of each part was vague. I called them on the phone and was told they could ship replacement part so i agreed. This is June and i just got an email stating it is delayed until August. I went online to pay my bill and they would not accept a debit card, only bank account and routing number. OMG this is 2020 not 1999. I was upset at the limitations on paying them. The bill was due on 6/2 and i thought since it was 6/4 i would pay a late fee or something. When i went online it said the full balance was 318 dollars, so i decided to pay it off. On 6/9 i got an email saying i owe 35.55. I called them up and they told me that it was a late fee, and i said then why didn't it include it on th last bill that i paid. I expect to when someone tells me the full balance it would actually be correct. I went ahead and paid it and closed out my account. I may end up with a Chaise lounge that my cats can use as a clawing post. I don't know when the part will actually arrive.
Don't buy ANYTHING from this company!
I ordered 5 things all of which were put on hold as a security measure (despite Wayfair confirming over the phone money had reached them from my account), I then had to send screen shots of my bank statement which I felt really uncomfortable with, eventually I got the items taken off hold but Wayfair didn't actually remove the hold so all items were then late by a week.
One went out of stock during the hold period so I cancelled it and two of the items had parts missing.
I phoned asking for replacement parts and was told they would arrive in 4 days but the confirmation email says they are expected 29 days from now. They are useless!
There's also no one you can speak to who can actually do anything about this. It's "company policy" to be maddening unhelpful and totally incompetent it seems.
DO NOT BUY ANYTING FROM WAYFAIR!
My daughter bought outdoor furniture during Wayfair's annual Wayfair Days. Serveral days after placing her order, she was contacted by Wayfair advising her that her order was canceled by her request. She called Wayfair and the operator admitted that Wayfair canceled the order because they could not get the furniture from the manufacturer. She then asked to talk to a salesperson and pointed out that the furniture was still on the website. The salesperson finally admitted that the sales price was a mistake and Wayfair could not sell the furniture for that low of a price. The salesperson offered to sell the furniture to my daughter for 10% off. The orginial sales price was 50% off. Obviously, a switch and bait.
I placed an order on 12/11/14, paying extra for delivery "on or before 12/18/14". I checked with customer service on 12/16/14 as I was concerned I had not yet seen a shipment e-mail. I was assured the order would ship that night for delivery on 12/18/14; this was a Christmas order for my boss!
On 12/17/14, again concerned, I checked again, and now the order status had changed to back-ordered with delivery "on or before 2/3/15"; no e-mail notification, mind you!
I checked with the on-line chat - was dropped three times.
I called and the agent confirmed the back order and offered to cancel the order. To try to appease me, she offered a measly 10% off!
I could have ordered from another site.
Obviously, Wayfair's inventory status system is outdated and does not work well. I should have know on 12/11 if the item was out of stock. Does it really take 6 days to get an inventory status update?! Wayfair's on-line chat system needs a good update, too.
Go order from a company that really does understand customer service; I don't think Wayfair is one of these.
Wayfair used to be a good company to work with and would stand behind their products and services. Unfortunately, times have changed and they no longer hold themselves accountable to their word. They have handed off the issue and avoided responsibility and are pinning the expense on me to resolve their shipping delay. Because of their delay (product didn't even ship until AFTER the expected delivery date) I had to source elsewhere and now they are attempting to charge me for their error and not budging even though the dates were in bold large print on the website and the email. DO NOT ORDER FROM WAYFAIR
Absolutely frustrating. I ordered a bed but Wayfair would not schedule the delivery to suit my availability. Instead Wayfair uses Fed Ex which does not offer a way of working the delivery around the customer's schedule. In order not to lose the sale, Wayfair tells you it's possible to arrange a "vacation hold" with Fed Ex. I tried it and it failed miserably. Despite all the time I spent trying to manipulate a Fed Ex delivery date, they brought it two days early and dumped the 60 pound box in front of my building. This of course after Wayfair told me it would be in 2 (lighter) boxes. I had to rearrange my schedule just to haul the thing inside. Then I tried to order "expert assembly" and again found out that Wayfair sends someone to assemble the furniture when it is convenient for them, not for you. Want to order furniture from Wayfair? You better make sure you have a week to sit around and wait for everything to happen on THEIR schedule because they certainly don't care what is convenient for their customers. In addition, the product specs on the website were incorrect. What a horrible disappointment. Never again.
Why does wayfair lie so much ordered gazebo cover 10 x10 it was not even close to the right size and I have to pay to return it? Go jump in a lake wayfair!
No stars! Very unresponsive, waiting for my money back for over a month! Disappointed! I will never order anything else from this site i will also encourage friends and family to no do so.
I purchased a ton of stuff on wayfair. I always paid my minimum due. I had a 2,000 credit limit. (Going on memory to the best of my ability.) I sold my house and paid off card in full. The criminal thing about commentry bank is that one month before I paid my card off in full they lowered my limit to 100.00. Of course that destroyed my credit score. I was told they were not doing credit anymore and lowered everyone limit. It's a disgusting way of screwing the consumer. I have since gotten a children place card. It's comentry bank. Needless to say I don't use it. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. I can't imagine what would happen if I hadn't sold my house, couldn't pay the card off and was 1,000% over my credit usage. So be aware these are the shadiest people ever.

Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
