The company has garnered significant negative feedback, primarily centered around poor customer service and product quality issues. Many customers reported difficulties with returns, long wait times for support, and unfulfilled orders, leading to frustrations over service delays. Additionally, there are concerns regarding the integrity of pricing and product descriptions. Conversely, a few reviews highlighted positive aspects, such as a wide selection of products and user-friendly purchasing processes. Overall, the prevailing sentiment reflects dissatisfaction, with calls for improved customer support and accountability in handling orders and returns.

I ordered a desk May 8th. Was given 3 delivery dates and each time it did not arrive and each with a different excuse. No one should have to continue to be given lies of delivery. No one can give a root cause as to the non deliveries.
Purchased a Power Reclining Heated Massage Chair. Line 4 of spec sheet shows Reclining Type POWER. Received the recliner. It's a MANUAL recliner. Called customer service was told to look at line 10 it states its a MANUAL recliner. Now why would the Product description and spec shower POWER and 10 lines down switch to MANUAL? It's called FALSE ADVERTISING.
I ordered an item on March 8th and was super excited... the shipping did say the item was on back order but I was willing to be patient and wait a couple of weeks because I had finally found the perfect piece. Since then I have received 2 more delivery dates making this almost 3 months later and still no product. How is this good customer service Wayfair? How is this fair wayfair? Sooooo very hurt and disappointed Wayfair...
Ps. I only gave you 1 star because you can't submit the review until you do so
I have wasted my time for over a year trying to have an $850 item replaced or refunded and I had purchased a warranty plan to boot. May 2021 to date still unresolved. I'm at the end of my rope. The process has been a first-rate example of what NOT to do to a customer.
So wayfair said I needed a box to ship a wicker love seat back.UPS wanted 50.00 for a box that size so i taped up the old one. When FedEx arrived they said it goes to the dumpster anyway.SO they are charging me 8.00 per box. Then a ottoman i ordered wayfair wanted 108.00 to return. WHY? Per Fed Ex they have close locations in all cites and they go in the DUMP.The Ottoman was smaller than the 2 boxes for the love seat. The Dump for 108.00. How sad Brand New. But it was to small to use. More for a child or teenager not an adult. 59 in outdoor wicker loveseat.DO NOT ORDER> You can even get up it sits low..
When ordering a gazebo the size is the awning. Not the legs. I bought a 13 x 13. Hired someone to put it up. Turns out it was barely 10 x 10. So disappointed. The person I hired felt bad charged me half of the estimate. Called way fair and the can care less. First person I spoke with said hold on I'll see what I can do (lost call). Called back second one just didn't care. So good by Way Fair it's over
My husband and I use Wayfair quite a bit. We ordered a vanity and it came damaged, we contacted them on 5/7/22, sent pictures, and we were told that Non Stop would be giving us a call to set up a pick up date in 2-3 business days. 5 days later I called Wayfair and explained we did not receive a call. I was told that they tried to call me on 5/12/22 and they sent me an email. I looked through my call log, no unknown missed calls, voicemail and no email. I gave them the benefit. Was told that I would get a call in 3-5 business days, again, and to look out for an email if I miss Non Stop's call. Again I called on day 6 and sat on hold while they "got in touch with Non Stop". Today I call because I have not received a call and I tried contacting Non Stop-it's all automated no person- I spent an hour on the phone and was told that Mario spoke to Non Stop and they would reach out in 3-5 business days and there was nothing more that Wayfair could do. He asked if I wanted Non Stop's number, I verified what I had with him and he said that was the correct number, I asked why he could speak to someone and I could not... He did not have an answer. I told him that I was not ok with another 3-5 business days, and that we have been storing a large piece of furniture for several weeks, (mind you he is a "manager") and he said there was nothing more that he could do to help us. I asked for someone above him and he said that there was no one. He kept speaking above me, he would not listen when I asked who was accountable for the failure, Non Stop or Wayfair, he said Non Stop. Wayfair is accountable for all 3rd party businesses they use! I don't even know where to go from here... Anyone have any ideas...
There was no option to check out as guest. Very soon after placing an online order, I started to receive a barrage of junk emails from Wayfair, at least once per day, and long before my order would arrive. One email arrived bothering me for feedback long before my order was even shipped!
I suspect Wayfair will be selling my personal info. I never elected to receive promotions. But after the very first email I received I immediately unsubscribed from all. But the next day, I receive a promo for a Wayfair credit card. This may likely violate Federal Privacy Laws of the FCC.
I will not buy from Wayfair ever again, and as and independent electrical contractor, I will recommend the same to all my clients who also would not wish to receive so much junk email after ordering from Wayfair. I will be blocking Wayfair from my email box and posting this same review on online sites.
This is a scam and a half. Why is the shelving so gosh darn expensive? There is no reason a single plank of wood and some metal should cost such an extortionate amount of money.
I ordered several boxes of tile that came chipped or broken and reported the damage with picture of the tile in the box showing the broken pieces. Since then, I've been put on a marked list. Any returns or cancellations have to go through executive resolution. This is completely unfair. I've been a customer since the 1990s and had problems only with broken tile - whose fault is that? When I spoke with Wayfair over the phone, they mentioned a few returns I've made as well. So they don't expect returns and they're a mail-order company?
I just spoke with a supervisor who was extremely rude and laughed at my problem three times and talked down to me like I was an idiot. They had an item on sale and put it on backorder. Than they just cancelled it because it was their error and priced it too low. No communication on it. I found out by checking on when it was going to be delivered. They charged me a month ago for it and now I have to wait 10 more days for a refund. I believe I should get the cancelled item because of their error for the same price. Not the price it is now with 10-20% off. They said they can't price match! That is not price match if I am asking for a product that I paid a price for from the same company. It is switch and bait when wayfair says it is this low price and than says I can't have it for that price but I could pay $200 more if I still would want it.
Order two items, still have not received them and the item went on sale and they would not give me the difference. Would not buy $#*! from you guys again
Patrick worked quickly and did a fine and thorough job. If it is at all possible, I would prefer him to assemble anything coming from Wayfair.
I ordered 2 items in January and still haven't received them. The new arrival date is now July. If your items aren't available for delivery, please take them down from your website.
My spouse ordered an over-the-toilet wall mounted cabinet. Wayfair sent the wrong item. He went online to get the shipping label for the return and was charged what seems to be s restocking fee. Again, WAYFAIR SENT YHE WRONG ITEM. This is unjust. We will never order from this company again.
Ordered items at extreme discount due to sale.
6 weeks later notified that order was cancelled due to overselling items.
When they offer you an items that are less quality or not same for more money.
Bait and switch.
Wayfair overselling on purpose to hook you in to purchase what you don't want.
Kyle was such a knowledgeable and professional young man He was very polite very neat knew exactly what had to be done and did a fantastic job Thank you again Kyle you veered a pleasure to work with
I made a purchase and within 45 days noticed a ~20-25% price reduction. When I inquired with Wayfair on refunding the difference, they would not accomodate. I watched for 60+ days a number of items and saw EXTREME flucuation.
Eh, I would look to use either Capital One card or different retailer to ensure peace of mind that I am getting a fair shake. Keep in mind this was a $3k purchase too!
It's hard to find what you're looking for. Pricing is all over the place--many prices are just absurd. Quality is also all over the place. We received two items that were great. We received three okay items and two items that were garbage. We will not order from that company again. This is why I don't buy from Wish and why Amazon and Walmart have become so hit-and-miss. But there's no "Sold by Wayfair" to guide you to decent products the way Amazon and Walmart have labeled products on their sites. AVOID WAYFAIR!
Answer: Allison, Yes, the box that the floor lamp came in did have a picture of the lamp on it. I would ask when you order. I hope this helps. James.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
