The company has garnered significant negative feedback, primarily centered around poor customer service and product quality issues. Many customers reported difficulties with returns, long wait times for support, and unfulfilled orders, leading to frustrations over service delays. Additionally, there are concerns regarding the integrity of pricing and product descriptions. Conversely, a few reviews highlighted positive aspects, such as a wide selection of products and user-friendly purchasing processes. Overall, the prevailing sentiment reflects dissatisfaction, with calls for improved customer support and accountability in handling orders and returns.

I have been waiting for a piece of furniture that has been in Texas for a good week now. I live 3 hours away. LET ME PICK IT UP!
Free shipping is the equivalent of free chips at a cheap chain restaurant. Not a good thing. Never a good thing.
Was promised assembly on arrival. It arrived by FedEx. Dropped on my door step. Only 2/3 of my couch. Assembly will be supposedly done in 4 days by Handy. I had to wrestle the 2 large heavy boxes into my house. The base and seat cushions have not arrived yet. I called customer service. Oh, we're so sorry about the misunderstanding. No. You lied. I will never buy from them again. Posted this on Facebook as well.
You call customer service they ask for screen shot of their website for yesterday where they have full control and changed. Won't cancel order neither. Going to dispute through credit card
After years of buying from Wayfair and making monthly payment by phone, it is no longer possible I've waited for over two hours to speak to someone.
Don't by from Wayfair. Their Customer Service sucks!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
AVOID AT ALL COSTS! First of all I wouldn't of given 1 star after the experience I have had with wayfair but that wasn't a option I had to give it a 1.
We ordered over £700 worth of lights from wayfair for our flat refurb, and we kept some and needed to return part of the order. We set up the rerurn online and paid for the premium UPS service, but they never turned up to collect the packages. Wayfair also double charged us for the return fee originally and I had to call to rectify this and set up a new collection. I set this collection up 5 times and UPS never came!? I lost work because of this huge innconvience. Wayfair blamed UPS everytime, although UPS NEVER received any order to collect from wayfair!
We have had multiple calls and emails to them and no one ever offers any real help. We now have to return the boxes ourselves through royal mail and pay for this as wayfair do not even have the decency of covering this expense, despite my awful experience with them. My partner ego made rye purchase is also 40+ weeks pregnant and have told wayfair this, but they are still happy for her to have to run around just to get these returns completed. I am absolutely disgusted with them, NEVER AGAIN would I use wayfair. 1st and last time. My advice would be to stick to more reputable companies like John Lewis and dunelm for homeware.
I am very upset with your sales team. I saw a price on the website for two counter toolbars, it was $243, while it was $115 each (if I bought 2 it would be $230). Well, i sent a SMS to your sales team, and they (they told could not tell me their name for secure proposes *never see it before**), and even though I sent a picture showing it, they told me the price of $243 was correct. I know very well if I find a different price on the website, I have to pay for the low price, and this person did not care about what I was saying. Ok, I was about to buy it, because of this not respectful attitude I will not buy anything in this store (website) anymore. I used to buy a lot of things there. I loved this store. I thought it was a fair place to buy things, but because of a BAD NOT TRAINED SALE EMPLOYEE, you lose a good customer.
Two months a go I ordered a bunch of stuff one of my order they told me it will come after two months and I waited then the days come they told me to cancel the order I even requested to replace it with something similar they didn't agreed unless you want to be disappointed by there service don't order anything from them.
PLEASE PLEASE be kind to yourself
Two lady on phone were nice and very honest that company give damm about customers
They dont want our business. SO BAD
Believe me in last 8 years I never write negative review
I hesitated placing a second order with Wayfair because we had an awful shipping experience with them the last time we ordered 2 years ago. Well, despite my better judgment, and I did place another order, was told it would be here today - and now have just been told by customer service that they "don't know when" it will be delivered, as there is a delay at their warehouse. Customer Service was less than pleasant as well. If you expect things to happen the way you are promised - don't purchase from this company.
This morning I went to purchase (2) $200 gift cards to be mailed to friends. I put one of the gift cards into the cart and the subtotal showed $220. I called customer service and even the rep didn't know why it was such. She put me on a brief hold and came back to inform me that Wayfair charges $20 to mail a gift card. She said that I could print them out or email them,(both options are so impersonal). Wayfair, you have just lost an easy $400 sale. Never again!
I purchased a sidebar from Wayfair. Because I was having a back procedure I could not lift over 5lbs so I put off building this until I was able post surgery. The doors had these long sleek black metal doorknobs. As I screwed on the second handle, the handle literally snapped in two. I called their customer service who informed me they couldn't help me since it was 30 day warranty. I explained I had been prevented from putting it together previously due to surgery and still no help. Since the door handle is an odd size I can't even replace it myself. Given the response I got, I will never recommend or purchase from them again
I purchased a storage box for my deck for chair cushions and when the box came it rained but I was not concerned as I knew that the storage box was for outside use and the rain would not hurt it. When I got help from my contractor to come over and assemble it and he opened the box instead of the storage box they had mistakenly sent me a very huge white pipe hand rail with a mount for a large swimming pool. Wayfair sent me out the correct item but wants me to return the wrong item, but will not over any resolution for a box to put the item in, as the original box is ruined from the rain. After many attempts to ask them to send me a box, all I get is refusal and they are telling me to go to a store and purchase a new box. I don't have time to do that and it is not my fault that they sent me a totally wrong item.
This brand will forever be associated with the American concentration camps on the southern border. Perhaps someday people will be able to see their logo without hearing the cries of the children stripped from their parents and under the family separation policy and made orphans of living parents by the Trump regime. Wayfair's collaboration with the enemies of humanity by supplying Immigration and Customs enforcement with furniture for its concentration camos is unforgivable. Also, their products, service, and prices are crap, which I guess are why they can't turn down business from tyrants. My company will no longer do business with these monsters. https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/2019/06/25/wayfair-is-supplying-beds-texas-detention-centers-children-its-employees-are-protesting/
We bought an expensive desk 6/22/20. Recently, 2 men tried to move it for flooring installation and it literally disintegrated! The drawers broke apart, the top came apart from the sides, and the sides broke apart. They did not drag it or mishandle it in any way. This was obviously a piece of furniture with very shoddy construction- although it looked beautiful. Wayfair told us to take a hike. They said we should have bought a protection plan. I can't believe we should need a protection plan to protect us from purchasing furniture that was defectively made.
I got an ottoman for $120 which got broken in just 3-4 months. Now I cannot use it anymore. It was cheap product they shipped from China. Now they can't do anything about it as they provide 30 days replacement for furniture. It's the lame excuse I have ever seen for a furniture. Usually it's 6-12 months warranty on furniture damages but they said to purchase extra warranty out of 30 days in order to get it replaced. Never ever going to buy furniture online.
They falsely advertised availability of an open box chair and cancelled my order. Once I contacted them about this they told me they oversold the product but the "good news" is that they had plenty new that I could buy in stock and offered a 10% coupon. 10% off something I was originally supposed to be saving over 50% on? How is that compatible. It's not. They are a joke as a company and do not care about the customer. They need to learn how to update inventory as they go or to honor the price they have on the site either way. The best part about it is that right after cancelling my order the chair was right back to available as open box on their site for this to happen to someone else.
I placed an order a month ago and the expected delivery was 15th of July but i never got the bed delivered. After talking to your agents couple of times, every time what i hear is that the bed is stuck in customs and will be delivered in 2-3 days. It was my first time ordering from this company and it was so disappointing. Today, on 25th July I called again to your customer service and asked the agent to transfer the call to the supervisor. Her name is Andrey, after explaining her the whole situation, what she offered me is either they will replace the order for the same bed or they will refund the more, which is not acceptable after waiting for a month. I asked her to transfer the call to the manager and what i heard is that she is the head and she don't have any manager. Anyhow I convinced her to let me talk to anybody from higher authority. She transferred the call to the manager named Katy. Again, she offered me two things either a replacement or a refund. The bed you was not able to deliver in a month, how should I believe that it will be delivered in 3-5 days. At last, I am left with the only option of refund. The bed I ordered was the time of sale. I can't find any bed for the same price. After making me wait for a month, what was offered is just a refund. It is so disappointing and will never shop from Wayfair again.
You must be *******% careful when you shop on this website, or you will get nothing from what you expected. I was hoping to buy a set of tea cups, as what is shown in the first photo, BUT what I get is only 1 set, this site sucks!
This company doesn't know whether they are coming or going. Still dealing with a nightmare with an order that was placed over a month ago. Let's just say a frameless shower door that was to delivered the status changed to "lost in transit" which is not an envelope to be lost, it's a shower door! I cancelled the item and two days later a text message saying it's being delivered. That's one item, the bathroom vanity, the date kept changing a week out of delivery to finally a MONTH out, I cancelled. They can keep it, I don't need a bathroom to not be completed out over a month. NO thanks.
SKIP THIS USELESS COMPANY and be safe with either Home Depot OR Lowes!
I place a order on 28 may for 4 sun longer Today 21 July I don't receive my order Only I heard is apology no body take action I call about 6 times
Answer: Allison, Yes, the box that the floor lamp came in did have a picture of the lamp on it. I would ask when you order. I hope this helps. James.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
