I ordered a rug. They sent two. They said it was my fault for double clicking (I didn't). They have a protocol that when two orders for the same thing show up close together, they send both out and call it a disorder. They charged me for shipping back. I grudgingly accepted the situation because it wasn't much money. When they tried to pick up twice, I realized I'd been had.
I wish I could give them 5 stars however they receive a 1 due to the fact that I only have half a couch. Wayfair lost my couch, then re-ordered half the couch and back ordered the other half. The half that I did get was scheduled to arrive at a certain time frame and then arrived 4 hours later. Needless to say the half of the couch that I did finally get is comfortable however Wayfair dropped the ball completely with this order in regards to their shipping and customer service. I hope one day I'll receive the other half of my couch until then i'll continue to reach out in hopes of some form of resolution. I don't plan on purchasing from Wayfair again, its very unfortunate
I ordered a rug, and the colors were nothing like the picture and description (it was grey and grainy, my phone camera color corrected it. It was suppose to be cream). They charge me to return it, then I had to bring to a fed ex store, print a label with them since when I tried printing automatically at home it cuts off, and then had to pay more for a box to return it in, even though it never came in a box. I also found the same item was listed cheaper on Amazon.
Listening to my wife go thru customer service and it's terrible. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid.
I ordered two 48 x 30 mirrors (Schweitzer by Brayden Studio) from Wayfair for my master bathroom. I really hesitated ordering these as the price ($470 each) seemed like a lot. But...they got amazing reviews (Have you ever noticed that nearly all Wayfair products get practically 5.0 reviews?) I had seen another mirror on Amazon and Houzz that was similar, cost around $250, but got terrible reviews...more on that later.
I was specifically looking for a chrome framed mirror, which this mirror was...at least that's what it said in the product description. I even called Wayfair - twice - confirming this. "Yes, yes...It has a shiny chrome frame," both reps said.
While the mirrors arrived in a very timely manner, I was shocked when I saw the packaging. The boxes said Eviva - the same brand I saw on Amazon and Houzz - the one that was around $250 with the terrible reviews. I honestly couldn't believe what I was seeing. I opened one box and saw that the mirror was not framed in "shiny chrome" but brushed nickel and the construction was garbage - just like the reviews on Amazon and Houzz said. Yet the reviews on Wayfair were glowing - I suspect written by their own staff.
Of course we want to return these mirrors. However, Wayfair not only expects us to return them with an $80 return shipping fee but expects us to work directly with the manufacturer - Eviva - in doing so. Um, what?!? I don't think so, Wayfair. False advertising, fake reviews, fake brand. Complete bait and switch. Oh, and they would not post my product review (which I gave a 1 rating) alerting other customers that this mirror is not framed in shiny chrome, is poorly constructed, and is actually another brand that you can purchase for over $200 less somewhere else.
Not truthful in what they advertise or send. What they show on their web site and what you receive is not the same. Do not buy from them.
Wayfair is oh so eager to sell you there product but actually getting it may be a different story the shippers they use J W logistics didnt even have the courtesy to call ande say the delivery wouldnt be coming and wayfair says its out of there hands very poor performance on both parties
I made a purchase from Wayfair. When I received an email that said my items were delivered I checked and there were no packages. The website said to wait for 3 more days. After investigating further, I found that Wayfair had given both UPS and FedEx wrong delivery addresses. After an extremely long wait on the phone, I finally reached a Wayfair customer service rep. At the end of the conversation the rep told me that Wayfair could do nothing for me and that I should hunt down the addresses and try to retrieve my merchandise! I have had some experiences with bad customer service, but this one rings the bell. I will never use that company again!
I ordered some seats and after talking to their sales associate on height recommendation, I ordered based off of her recommendation. When I got the seats/stools they were too short and so I returned them with the anticipation of getting new set, but higher in height. They charged me over 100 dollars in shipping fees and when I asked for a waiver since they are the ones that recommended the wrong height they declined it. She said that I ordered the right size and got the right size, but I ordered the size based on their recommendation. If they are not willing to waive the fee based on what they said, why even have a sales rep when they give the wrong recommendation? I dont want to be associated with them anymore so I canceled my card. But to future customers beware that they will take where they can. The customer service Case Specialist named Amy (probably fake name) was rude and called me with intention of declining. *******714
This is the third time they have sent me the wrong item. Fourth if you include them delivering me the last item I purchased twice. The item is not shown on the outside of the box so you open the box only to find out it is not the right one. THEN you have to try and get the item back in the box you just opened tape it up and return it. They are horrible and don't really seem to care since they basically told me they are just the middle man. Not only do they take forever to deliver your item but when you get it it is never the item you purchased. Do NOT order from them. I thought I would give them pone last shot but I very much regret it.
Paid over $1500 for a sectional from Wayfair. It lasted less than 4 months before pieces started breaking off. Wayfair did nothing for support on this issue.
I have questions from anybody who's dealt with these scammers(from reviews). I've been trying to buy a small space sofa sleeper and every time I go to buy it, it's sold out or can't be shipped there- I live in Alaska but I'm Fairbanks; on the road system, with airports etc. Amazon gets my packages here in 3-4 days average, without paying anything extra on shipping.
I looked at a sofa sleeper that had horrible reviews and just out of curiosity added it to my cart to see what shipping would cost. $1,964 for a $300 piece of crap couch. I looked at their reviews for another "great" sofa sleeper and the customer commented it was a bed for a dog or cat. Lastly there's the "open box deals." Has anyone ever scored one of these deals? I call B.S. Every time I check into it, it's sold out or click bait. I've been watching for an area rug, preferably 8x10 or 9x 12 feet. There's constantly ads for rugs this size in the styles I've searched for. However, the prices are always cheap up to the size that I want. Or in the case of furniture the advertise price is super super cheap but they claimed the item sold out. These guys are a joke. I've tried to give it a chance but when they throw a $2000 shipping charge on you, all you can say is screw you, Wayfraud.
I WILL NEVER BUY FROM WAYFAIR AGAIN!
I was confident to buy my very first massage chair which cost more than $2k in price. I was so excited but not knowing it will never arrive. It was bought on Oct 9 and was expecting it on October 12. I called and chat with customer service many times to follow up. They cant tell me what was going on until until October 25 and informed me that the chair was lost in transit...so ok then I called again to speak with supervisor which she was kind enough to give me discount and said the chair will be replaced... I waited again until Nov 12. NOTHING! My last hope was maybe it was delayed again but no... THE REPLACEMENT WAS LOST IN TRANSIT! AGAIN?
SO I CALLED CUSTOMER SERVICE AND I GOT THE MOST RUDEST ARROGANT PRICK! I have said that maybe Wayfair dont even have this chair so it would be fair for me to get another model. He assured me that Wayfair will not send me another model but the same one... WHO IN ANY RIGHT MIND WOULD BELEIVE THAT WAYFAIR HAS THIS MODEL WHICH THEY HAVE LOST TWICE IN TRANSIT?
SO TO MAKE MY LIFE EASIER... I ASKED FOR A FULL REFUND!
BUNCH OF SCAMMERS!
I have no idea why Wayfair exist in business. I have never experienced this with any other online or in person stores. Honestly, making one awful purchase on Wayfair caused me a lot of hassle. Wasting so much money and time. It brought anxiety to my life. They are the worst customer service ever and they don't care at all. Treating their customers like $#*!. I bought a coffee table from Wayfair for more than $700, we received the order, it took us 3-4 hours to assemble it and the quality was lower than a $40 coffee table. So we had to spend another hour or so to disassemble the table. After that, I called 8 times, yes I count it 8 times to schedule a pick up. In the end, they told me you should call Fedex yourself it's not our responsibility. So we had to figure that out ourselves. After 3 weeks from the time we requested the pick up WE ourselves were able to manage and get Fedex pick up the table. Right now it's been about a month that Fedex has picked up the item and we are STILL waiting for our refund. I have called 5 times so far and spoken to 5 different agents and all of them have told me they'll put a note for finance but we HAVE NOT RECEIVED OUR MONEY YET. So buying a table cost us A LOT OF MONEY AND TIME, and Wayfair literally doesn't care. I'm looking into ways to take this to any possible authority.
I bought a rug from Wayfair and it was a really bad quality so when i first saw the rug I went online to return it it says i have to pay shipping fee almost $50 why would i pay shipping fee and it is not as expected. They have really poor quality and really bad customer service because when i called them too the girl was so rude to me whatever i spoke to her she was like ohh this is our policy and its not wayfair fault if it is poor quality to you or you dont like it. Their customer service are bad I DO NOT RECOMMEND WAYFAIR TO ANYONE. This was my really bad experience with them and this was my first and it will be my last order.
Thank you
Cancelled order is now almost 100% higher. Customer service is a joke and I will NEVER shop here again
I bought a bedroom set off of Wayfair and within a year a support leg broke off the bed. After calling multiple times to get a replacement part (which I was willing to pay for) only to get hung up on, I finally spoke with someone who said we can't help, here's the manufacturer number...I called that and they said we're wholesale, no direct customer business, Wayfair has to help you. I call Wayfair yet again and FINALLY the last person I spoke to said well sorry you're out of luck, go to a hardware store and fix it yourself... absolutely ridiculous that no one would sell me a simple replacement leg for a 1 year old bed. I'll never shop with them again! Horrible customer service.
I am very upset with the quality of the umbrella I received. I just recently put it up because I was waiting to get my new table & it has been in my dining room for a few weeks due to 2 hurricanes. It hasn't even been out there one month and the handle is so cheaply made the thinnest metal possible raw edges and is totally rusty. Not only this but the rain comes right through the umbrella! They do not care they said it was over 30 days and I should have seen that it was defective! How would I see that the handle was defective when I put it into the table it was still silver a few weeks later when I go to take it down for the second hurricane and put it back into my house I see it all rusty. They will do nothing and said they were sorry and that was it and I'm stuck with this piece of crap rusty umbrella that I paid $105 for. I will never again buy from Wayfair.
Almost every time I order from this company, there is an issue. By the time we were ready for interior, the 30 days was up on a pricey fireplace. Wayfair has a short/ difficult return policy. The remote doesn't work. Wayfair is unwilling to accommodate in any way.
I am disgusted with Wayfair. I would not order from Wayfair again. There's plenty of companies with the same products that will facilitate returns or help with this minor issue. This is corporate at its worst.
Answer: Allison, Yes, the box that the floor lamp came in did have a picture of the lamp on it. I would ask when you order. I hope this helps. James.
Answer: No, they will take returns, but you pay fees. As for poor quality, I guess we just swallow it.
Answer: From my experience, this is company is to be avoided. Sounds like your life will be hectic enough for awhile so you don't need additional stress. Buy elsewhere is my advice.
Answer: Need to call Customer Service ( a/k/a Customer Disservice) about any issue. Expect to be disappointed, but they may honor it. Best to avoid Wayfair in the future.
Answer: Suggest calling Customer Service aka Customer disservice. A word of advice: buy elsewhere; anywhere else. This Co. Just does not care.
Answer: Obviously their mission to become popular has worked. They don't need to be a good company anymore. They will take the money and run. When the time is right, they will close up shop and reopen with a new name. It is hard to find a business with integrity anymore.
Answer: Stay away. They do not follow up to make things right concerning your order.
Answer: Call customer service (aka customer disservice). This company should be avoided. Deal with a reputable Co like Amazon or its partners, They care.
Answer: I wouldn't order anything big from Wayfair. I had to order the same product 3 times, and each time, the product was damaged. Wayfair rhymes with nightmare for a reason.
