I ordered a bench on Nov. 24th, 2023. I wrote Wayfair on Dec. 9th inquiring about the item. They said if it didn't ship in a week to get back with them. I waited until after Christmas and it still hadn't shipped. I re-ordered the bench. It was supposed to be here Jan. 2nd. It never arrived. I talked to customer service and they said they couldn't do anything because it's showing ready for shipping. I was told I had to wait until Jan. 9th to cancel the order. I contacted customer service on Jan. 9th and they told me they could not do anything until Jan. 11th. It's January 11th and now I'm being told I have to wait until January 16th. Mind you, they have charged me for this bench already. This is the worst shopping experience I have ever had. Why go to Wayfair when you can go to Amazon. I'm done with this company.

Buyers beware
January 8, 2024

I order my wife a new dog crate on November 19th and never received they did a investigation and just canceled my order and when i asked why they gave me a 10% coupon not a very happy wife. Customer service is the worst for this company but don't purchase anything from here never again

So, I am remodeling my home now and had been ordering many items from Wayfair due to their varieties on their platform. To start off with, some of the items are nice but some are just trash. However; what really disappoint me was that they would manipulate me in order to avoid the refund back to me. I ordered this Orren Ellis T.V stand (which by the way I had already spend thousands of dollars prior to these purchase) from them but because I quickly realized I ordered extra, I called Wayfair to cancel the order. They told me to contact Orren Ellis myself to cancel the order since they can't cancel on their end. I contacted Orren Ellis and I was able to stop the shipping since the item was still sitting in their warehouse. Orren Ellis told me they won't be able to cancel the order on their end and that I would have to call Wayfair back to cancel the order. When I called back Wayfair, I was very unlucky to deal with a very argumentative representative. She kept telling me that there was no way to cancel the item since the item was already shipped even though I told her that the seller had not shipped the item and even on my order status on their website is still under processing. She further told me to go ahead and start a return first online so when the item arrived, I could ship it back to them. There was nothing to return since the item won't be shipped to me. I filed a dispute with my credit card and it is a little over 1 month now that my bank told me that my dispute was rejected because Wayfair argued that there was a return created and the item has not been shipped back to them. I am very frustrated now as I feel the whole thing was a set up by Wayfair in order to avoid the refund back to me.
You have officially lost me as your favorite customer Wayfair. You guys are the worst e-commerce company ever!

Resolution Dept for Return

Wayfair set high return fees for me or wait 2-3 days for their Resolution Team call to return items because I return items damaged. The damages come from initial packaging or my their carrier. FedEx are more concern about being paid for how many they deliver than getting the customer's packages intact. Therefore, I am reimbursing them for their delivery service.

Worst company ever.

I ordered a bed. Wayfair cancelled part of the bed, sent me half the bed then wouldn't give me a refund.
I had to call them 4 times to try and get a refund for a part of a bed. Terrible consumer service on top of just terrible service.
Do not order anything for this company trying to steal money from customers for parts of orders.
I tried to put 0 stars but it won't let me.

Item sold as solid wood when is particle wood. Overpaid much for lower quality product. I was overcharged to almost twice the value of the actual product. I also noticed they sold me 2 items that can cause cancer. They should be more honest and not cut corners on people's safety.

My recent experience with Wayfair, coupled with their reliance on delivery services like Evri, has been nothing short of a masterclass in incompetence and frustration.

Initially, I carefully scheduled my order to be delivered on January 12th after 1 p.m, ensuring my availability to accept it on that specific date. However, my expectations were shattered when I received an abrupt notification that my delivery was rescheduled for January 8th. This sudden change wreaked havoc on my plans, especially considering my ongoing move to a new apartment, where I am unfamiliar with neighbors who could potentially accept the delivery on my behalf.

Attempting to navigate this logistical nightmare has been a futile exercise. Wayfair's customer support seems powerless to address the issues caused by their chosen delivery services. As a customer, I am left in a predicament where I cannot choose a suitable delivery time.

Thanks to the collective incompetence of Wayfair and their chosen courier services, it appears inevitable that I will not receive the ordered mattress and bed. Consequently, my first night in my new home will be spent on the floor, a direct consequence of Wayfair's inability to provide a reliable and customer-centric delivery solution.

Missing bed rails

I ordered two twin beds and I'm missing a set of rails and I have to literally jump through hoops wait for a resolution team manager to get a hold of me, may take six days and then I have to wait another six days for my shipment. It's absolutely ridiculous. I'm an interior designer and I spend almost $200,000 a year with them and I'm treated like I'm the issue. The resolution team is the only team that can handle my orders. They have done this because items have been broken and I've had to send them back, but when you buy that much product, obviously a lot is going to go back when it's not right so now I'm penalized. They used to treat me really well, but I'm not sure if they've changed hands or management or what but Wayfair really sucks right now.

Not customer friendly

We've purchased a crib for 300$, after a year the paint started to peel off and got stuck on my baby all over. I've contacted Wayfair and they've told me to contact the seller Dream on me directly which I did. After a month discussion they've told me to check again with Wayfair as they are unable to help. The crib was supposed to last 3 years minimum as you can convert it into a toddler bed. Wayfair told me they can't help me bc the claim is over 1 year (10 days over) and it's their policy. So we had to throw it away and purchase a new crib. Never had this issues with Amazon or other retailers. Will never order again.

I ordered a lamp. After the three week delivery period had come and gone I made a phone call to Wayfair. Where is my lamp, I asked? Oh, it seems to have been lost. Lost in transit I asked? Ummmm...no lost in the warehouse. Ummmm ok. So go find it and ship it out immediately! I mean that makes good sense right? No, we can only cancel the order and re-order it. Oh, and it will be another three and half week wait. I wanted some time to think about that, as that is a very long time to wait on top of the three weeks I'd already waited. I hung up, talked with my wife and she said go ahead and order it again. I called back to say go ahead with the re-order. Ummmm the price ahas gone up on the item and we'll have to charge you the new price (around $25 more) Well, don't charge me more I said, just charge me the original price because ummmm YOU LOST THE ORIGINAL PACKAGE IN YOUR WAREHOUSE. This went back and forth for 20-30 mins until I just got so angry I hung up. This is Wayfair customer service. I looked on amazon just to see if there was a similar lamp and guess what I found pretty much the same lamp for even cheaper than I originally paid and two day shopping. Wayfair stinks.

Do not purchase anything from this company...they are absolutely horrible. I purchase a cabinet last year and it arrived with broken shelves (I sent pictures). This week I received a cabinet that had mildew on it and was cracked (400.00) - it was repacked and I have pictures of the damage. So apparently because I called them last year I am not in a special area where I have to wait for them to call me (it has been 4 days). I will never do business with them again and how dare they send me to a problem area when they are clearly the problem. I have spent several thousands of dollars and will never purchase from them again. BUYER BEWARE! Now I have a mildew smell in my garage...

Poor customer service

I ordered a bathtub and within 2 hours of placing the order, my contractor advised me it was the wrong size.
I called customer service immediately and was told it was too late to cancel the order because it was on the truck. They told me it would cost $140.00 to cancel the order. I asked them to call and verify it was already on the truck. I could not believe it could have been processed that quickly and on a shipping truck when it wasn't supposed to arrive for two weeks from placing the order. The agent came back on the phone and said yes it's on the truck and it's too late to cancel the order.
The next day I checked the order on Wayfair website and found this information.

On December 19,2023 I ordered two nightstands which were on sale for $304 each. I was contemplating getting the matching dresser so was on the website and noticed that the price on the nightstands had reduced to $284 apiece. I noticed this on December 23 only four days after I had ordered the nightstands. I got in touch with the company and asked if they would honor the new price. They said no even though it had only been four days since I had ordered. I then decided that I would cancel my order and just re-order at the lower price. So I asked the assistant if they would please cancel my order. They said they could not, but what I could do is return the items, but I would have to pay shipping. Clearly the return shipping on these items would be more than the combined $40 that I would be saving on the new sales price. The customer service person was polite and professional and I understand they have to follow their policies and are not in a position of making those decisions themselves. It just feels like poor customer service when in no more than four days the price goes down by $20 an item and the company will not honor that new sales price. I gave this company one star regarding service because they wouldn't honor their own sales price. I did not give them one star on service because the customer service rep had done anything wrong.
Update: The original customer service representative was able to get me in touch with a manager. While the manager still stated they could not give me the new sales price they were able to get me a 10% discount which more than took care of the 10%. I wish I didn't have to go through all this to get the better price but in the end, they were able to reduce the price for me. They did all this very quickly and without issue. I can now say I would recommend Wayfair. My new suggestion would be that people are kind to the customer service representatives and if you are, they seem to go out of their way to help you.

The workers are slaving away while mr.CEO is munching on his donuts, even though he's already obese and doesn't need them.

"No, You May Not Talk" from a so called "Wayfair Supervisor" after telling me to either keep waiting for my order while they try to contact the supplier a supervisor or lose my money. Delivery date was supposed to be 12/15 but yet nobody can figure out how to get me the status. Your customer service is horrible.

Wayfair needs to be investigated by the Federal Trade Commission. I have been getting the old fashion run around for weeks with a large value purchase for vinyl flooring. Their common reply is they will create ticket and a manager will call you back in three days. We are on our third ticket and I have given up on a call.
