SCAM

I ordered and received a Carline brand recliner. It arrived and assembled by Wayfair as I purchased the service agreement. About 2 months later the recliner fell apart - Right side is bending toward the floor. The recliner is unusable.

Wayfair said their 30 day warrantee has expired and I must contact the wholesaler. Well, the wholesaler contact information is invalid. Company name - not valid, email address - not valid, phone number - disconnected.

The $450 recliner from Wayfair is unusable and a complete joke!

Never order here!
March 1, 2024

Was wrongly billed for items marked delivered but sent to incorrect unit/,building. After reaching out to the ceo and resolution team I received no assistance. The photo doesn't even clearly identify anything and now im out of a few hundred dollars. Save your money shop somewhere where they care about their customers and make sure you get your items.

Whoever oversees the customer service division is useless. No policies or procedures in place to handle issues. Have to chase them up to be refunded for items that go out of stock days after my purchase.

Wayfair is incredibly vile. There is a reason Wayfair will never be able to compete with Amazon. This heavily due to its customer service. I can't think of a single company that would behave the way Wayfair has.

I placed an order for 2 sets of night stands. I immediately noticed the order had my old address. Right away, I used the "update address" option. I was confident this worked. The next day, I got a notification that my order shipped to the wrong address.

I contacted Wayfair and they informed me that I should be able to contact FedEx to change the address. I contacted FedEx and they informed me that I needed to have the shipper make the update.

Next, I contacted Wayfair once again. Wayfair instructed me to call back the next day when a supervisor is present. The reason I was given was that a supervisor could contact FedEx. I contacted Wayfair hoping for a supervisor the following day.

Then, I was informed this was not an option at all. Wayfair instructed me that I should go to my old address and pick up the items or place a hold on the items and pick them up. Sidenote, placing a hold wouldn't work because my ID would need to match the address for pick up.

Anyway, I tried my hand at explaining the situation to the person who runs their Facebook account. They informed me that it "wouldn't be hard" to lift the 4 packages each weighing 65 pounds and load them into a car, if I have another person.

There are so many things wrong with telling me it shouldn't be hard to lift things. The biggest problem is that this was an extremely ableist comment. I guess the business is only accessible to able bodied people.

This served as a reminder that I can't do some of the same things because I have cancer. I confronted the person I spoke to on messenger about their response. The resolution was FINALY to have the product returned to the warehouse AND repurchase at a higher price.

I have given Wayfare two tries myself and consulted with other family members who have tried this site in additional three times. All five combined experiences have been awful. Every situation required us to contact customer service for various reasons and included rude and unprofessional responses. They list an expected delivery date which is actually the date they expect to begin filling the order from which delivery is may take 7 to 10 days to be shipped, and then whatever amount amount of time planned for the shipping. For example, an order placed with an estimated delivery date in two days will really be prepared in two days, shipped 7 to 10 days from then and assuming ground shipping be shipped to arrive 7 to 10 days from that. This means, a delivery date in two days is more like 16 to 20 days.

I bought an extra wide chair but it was narrower than expected. The inner measurement is listed as 29 inches, and when I contacted customer service. They said, and I quote the 29 inch is "obviously referring to the entire width of the chair, not the seat. Who would have made that mistake." Excuse me? Then they charged $50 for restocking for the return. I never ever shopped at wayfair never again. Oh I buy stuff, $3000 every month from Amazon alone, and $40 grand or so luxury goods every 3-4 months. And never will wayfair takes my money

We ordered an entertainment center plus assembly. There was a typo in my address and I called the next day to fix it and though I spoke to 3 people and called multiple times, no one could fix it, so I canceled the service. They suggested Angi, but Anginwanyed almost as much to assemble it as the item cost. If I want to return it, it will cost $30-$35. It has a lot of pieces and looks very difficult to assemble although the listing said it is easy to assemble.

I tried to add the assembly again and they could not add it after I canceled it.

I will never order from wayfair again.

Disappointed

My husband and I both have credit above 750. They sent letters to both of us stating a line if credit was rejected. Never even applied for credit line! Also never late on paying anything! Will not order ever again from this company.

We bought a floor lamp. Directions were worse than IKEA. Parts were missing and defective parts made the bulb assembly and shade a failure. Returned it via FedEx using their label. They won't reimburse me for shipping a crappy product back. COSTCO would never do this. Looks like bankruptcy is in their future. Wayfair, Hello and Goodbye!

1.I looked for a wall hanging and found a "birds on a branch". Small branch was about $25. Another picture showed that PLUS a larger branch for about $30 so that is what I ordered. I only got the larger branch. Photo clearly showed two pieces and delivery notification showed two pieces.

2. I ordered 8 lace valences. Six of them do not have the rod pocket. It is more work to exchange than to fix myself. Poor workmanship and quality control.

This was all one order and I am very disappointed.

ZERO STARS
January 28, 2024

Wayfair only delivered HALF A COUCH and now won't do ANYTHING to get this massive six-foot, 100-lb box out of my house. I've never had such a disgusting experience with customer service. I've contacted them seven times, and the last three reps I spoke all said there is NOTHING they would do. They even told me to donate it - HALF A COUCH - to a Veteran's charity! Have a veterans organization waste their time and money to clean up Wayfair's trash! Do they have NO RESPECT?
What am I supposed to do with half a couch? It's such a large box I barely got it into my apartment. It's not like I can reasonably carry it anywhere and even if a could get it to my car it wouldn't fit. So my only options are to foist a worthless HALF A COUCH to some unsuspecting charity or use my money to pay someone to haul it out of here and dump it.
I keep getting told I'm a "valuable customer;" what a SICK JOKE.

Wayfair has proven to be a disappointing choice for us. We placed an order for a gazebo on December 24th. Despite reaching out to customer care about the lack of updates after a week, their response was unhelpful, stating it's still in processing. After contacting them again, all we heard was that they reached out to the seller. Unfortunately, after a month, our order was canceled following complaints filed with the Better Business Bureau. Now, we're dealing with HOA for approval on another gazebo and need to redo parts of our backyard. DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM WAYFAIR!

I ordered 4 bar stools off Wayfair. I vowed 4-5 years ago never again to use them after they didn't stand behind our pool chairs and just deferred to the manufacturer. I caved. We need new stools. I ordered two pairs. Two of the EXACT same thing...and got 2 bar stools and a mirror. Is this some cruel joke? Maybe look at the reflection of the two and voila! 4 stools! Then they made it difficult to return the mirror (their fault) or they were going to charge me for it as well. Wayfair is just a clearing house front door for any old furniture company and doesn't care anything about the customer experience.

Ordered and received a Mikula upholstered bed. This ended up being pure JUNK! Wayfair provided no option for return, but instead stated I needed to reach out to the MFg., however, the # they provided was a non-working #. This bed fell apart once it was used in our guest room. Unfortunately, it was just outside of a "30-day" return option. I disputed this through my CC and Wayfair sent back info to my CC that was purely false and reversed charges. No one at Wayfair would work with me originally and that's why it fell outside a 30-day return. This was a bed in our guest room and wasn't used as soon as we received it and put it together. We were afraid of the quality but decided it would be fine for a guest room. Stay clear of WAYFAIR! They are not interested in making sure their MFG are reputable and they are not interested in their customers either. We were forced to keep this piece of crap and had to invest additional money to make this bed worth keeping in our guest room. Wayfair offered me the option to return the bed at my own expense, but ZERO refund would be forthcoming. I'm going to pay for a return, find a box big enough, and zero refund, I think not. I'll NEVER ORDER FROM WAYFAIR EVER AGAIN! So long Wayfair, and I'll be sharing this experience with everyone I know as the reviews were mostly likely

I purchased a bistro set and several days after the order was placed, the price was decreased. I contacted Wayfair to see if they would give me a credit for the price reduction and they declined. I would suggest that you monitor the prices at Wayfair and if you do see a price decrease just cancel the order and reorder at the lower price. I just feel that Wayfair should have honored my request for the lower place without me having to cancel the order. This process should be automatic when a customer has an order in process. Otherwise, my experience with Wayfair has been good.

My name is ALEJANDRO, the first time I ordered with WAYFAIR and it was a terrible experience. I will never order again after this event. It turns out that I ordered a door for my house that I am renovating. It turns out that the delivery was left at the WRONG house. I called that same day saying that I clarified it and they told me to give 3 days for the delivery to solve the problem of picking up your package and leaving it at your house, then the 3 business days that they give and they give you the report passed. To give me a solution because the package never arrived, it has already been 2 days for them to give me a solution. The account manager for Wayfair's executive resolution team named MARÍA R told me that they are not responsible for items that are stolen, which is not because the item was never stolen, it was left at the wrong house, how was the report made?., her colleagues sent them photos from Google Maps with all the evidence of the package that the shipment was taken to the wrong home and the person responsible for the solution team did not do so. From Wayfair called MARÍA R was able to help me, in this situation I was the loser because my item (door) did not arrive and I also lost my money, I will never order from this store again, they are scammers, they have the evidence to help me NEVER WILL THEY DID 👎👎👎👎👎

Horror Show
January 14, 2024

I bought a gift card for my son and his wife for Christmas. Three days ago I got an email that indicated the code for the card had been changed, and it was now my responsibility to let my son know of the problem.

The only valid reason I can think of for doing this would be a massive data breach, but none of the 6 CSRs I spoke with would give me an answer (scary enough!), but a more sinister reason would be to cut down on the number of used cards! The subject line says "Updated Gift Card", which will NOT get a very high open rate. If they really were trying, they would have put an "Urgent" into the title! I know I barely decided to open it given the title. I know from my prior experience as a debit card/gift card fraud analyst is that the reason for gift card profitability is because of NON-USAGE,, which will go sky high if people never open the email!

Those are the only 2 reason I can think of for perpetrating this fiasco, and neither one of them absolves Wayfair of responsibility.

What a shoddy and untrustworthy organization. I will never do business with this company again.
