I ordered striped flat sheets to finish a quilted duvet cover, they sent the wrong sheets. So pissed!
It will be a long time before I order from Wayfair.ca again.
Free shipping they say, yet doesn't cover general areas of Ontario. Because my area wasn't included, they wanted to charge me $400 shipping cost for one item!

I am not happy with business prices. Its worst price if you planning to do business with them. Some time its same price for regular customers and sometime 10- 50 $ discount only..
This company boasts all over their website that they have free shipping for items purchased over $75.00, but in the fine print they state that remote areas get charged an exorbitant amount for shipping. The area I live is most certainly not remote, I live in the Southern Gulf Islands. They ship without charge to Vancouver Island, which needs to take a much more expensive and longer ferry ride than the Island I live one. When I placed the order it stated that it would be delivered on May 18,2018, now when I check the site it states that maybe it might arrive by the 31st (yah right). For this very poor service they charged me $31.99 for shipping. I contacted them and stated I no longer the items because of the delay in shipment. Now they state if and when the items arrive I must pay an additional $22.99 to return the items. On their site they state no hassle returns, how is this no hassle.
Everyone, I would highly recommend you to stay away of this company and order from another one that stands by what they post on their site. For $54.98 I get completely nothing.
I think this company's whole business model is to attract consumers with their low prices and other promotional offers (with me it was a promotional cash back through my Amex card) and then sell them low-quality crap (pictures on website deceive and make things look less cheap) or furniture with missing parts.
My big beef is a book shelf I ordered through them. When I received it, the box was ripped open and a piece was missing. I assembled it sans the missing piece and requested replacement part from them. I was very clear what piece was missing and obviously they knew what model bookshelf I ordered (the replacement part request was connected to the initial order; their online system is actually top notch). It was annoying to have to wait a few extra weeks till I have a functioning bookshelf but oh well.
Finally get the piece and unpackage it and what do I find? Completely the wrong piece (looks like it was for a smaller model bookshelf) and in white. If a customer has a problem, some mistake was made or whatever, you'd think they'd take more care and ensure the problem gets fixed right. Now, instead, I'm here writing this review.
I seriously seriously think that repeat business isn't in this company's business plan. They have good online marketing and a slick order system and probably are profitable enough just in suckering first-time purchasers into buying from them. I've otherwise only heard bad things from other people about Wayfair.
The prices are too good to be true. Don't bother.
I ordered a bench from Wayfair for 850 dollars. Several days after I ordered it, it was on sale for 135 dollars less. Since I did not receive the bench yet I contacted Wayfair hoping they would adjust the price. Their customer service is horrible, I waited on hold for 2 hours only to be told they would do nothing. I suggested I cancel my order and re buy it. They assured me there would be a cancellation and reshipping fee. They are not an honourable legitimate company. VERY DISAPPOINTING... WILL NEVER SHOP THERE AGAIN.
I ordered a Belleze chair (accent chair) which arrived in January 2021 without legs. Every person I spoke with there asked me if "they were in a pouch on bottom of chair" NO! Anyway to make this long story short - they told me they would send legs, never arrived, then they blamed Belleze tracking info. Then when I called Belleze, they told me they have over 150 sets of legs, but they do not sell to consumer only to wayfair. I clearly asked "if I had the chair for 2 years and my dog chewed a leg, could I order one or set through you" she said 'no' maybe through walmart? Wayfair suggested a credit (after my repeated calls) and then stated to dispose of the chair which can only sit on the ground. Most companies are going green or environmentally aware - not Wayfair of Belleze. Throw the chair in the garbage but yet they have many sets of legs at their Belleze warehouse. Ridiculous! I wrote a review on wayfair but they did not post it. I will continue to educate buyers of the environmental impact due to their lack of process and quality assurance. Oh yes, and if you are wondering why they didn't send me a full replacement chair with legs, online it showed out of stock although when I called the toll free # at Belleze they said it was never out of stock.
WayFair.ca is great and everything at bought from the served its purpose. I would recommend WayFair to anyone who is looking for anything great at a good price.
I ordered a Fulton Sofa from $Wayfair for 1200. I called just after 3-4 hours to cancel the order and i was assured that order will be cancelled. Few days after i got an email that it has been shipped. I called Wayfair to to process return and they did. Fedex picked up the packet next day but delivered it back to home the very next day. I had to drop it personally to fedex location and i have a proof that it was delivered back to wayfair warehouse. I didn't get any refund so i called wayfair for refund. They assured that refund will be processed in 3-5 days,. One month passed and no refund was processed so i called again and they assured again that it will be processed in 3-5 days. So in summary it has been 3 months and this struggle is still goin on. I would not recommend this website it to anyone. This may not be the experience for everyone but i have read a similar review from someone else and if this is happening again and again for multiple customers they really need to work on their operations.
Do not order from this company. Too many third party involvement. Ordered a couch, 3 wks later no couch and now I'm being told it's damaged and it hasn't even arrived. So very disappointed. The company is in the USA and all merchandise crosses the border and from there it's a nightmare. Needless to say I was able to cancel order and get refunded. NEVER WILL I ORDER FROM WAYFAIR AGAIN.!
The fire table, awesome. WAYFAIR is the absolute worst company. I ordered this fire table for 549.00 plus tax. While I am waiting for my order the price dropped to 439.00 plus tax.
WAYFAIR will not honor the new price. So I am out 110.00 plus tax. As a customer I can pay Shipping and ship it back. They said sorry, cant help you.

When you order with this company whatever it is WILL show up way late, they WILL lie to you about the next delivery date and when it arrives late it WILL have a defect or missing parts. My bed frame was 3 weeks late..

Everytime you order something, it becomes an international order...so absolutely no tracking #. How can things be shipped without a tracking #? You only get notification the day before it arrives!
Bought a cat tree on May 11th. Fed Ex received it May 13 and promised me delivery by end of day May 21st. At 4pm on May 21 Fed Ex emailed me to say that delivery was expected May 26. Called Fed Ex and they told me Wayfair just got them the package that day. When I told them it was actually May 13 in California that they received it and it had made its way to Canada on May 18 yet, the manager said she was also aware they had it since monday the 18th in BC. But that it was easier to lie to me and say they just received it. I inquired with both Fed Ex and Wayfair to see if its possible that Fed Ex not get paid for this delivery by canceling the order or reordering it again but was told no. I will simply not by from Wayfair again if they support and use such unethical delivery companies.
I ordered a couch mid June and was told it would be in the second week of July. I paid extra for in home setup and disposal of cardboard. When I had not heard I called to see where it was and was told it would be there by the end of the week. 5 days later and still no contact. This continued for the next three weeks, where I phoned no less than 10 times to see where it was. It seemed nobody would give me straight answer. The first week of August I received a voicemail from the case manager saying my couch was "in the warehouse ready to be picked up" by me. I then received an email from Wayfair asking to rate my delivery service. When I called Wayfair, they insisted the couch had been delivered and were shocked when I told them I did not have it, and no one had even so much as contacted me for delivery. After much hounding of the case manager she finally told that the couch had been logged as "lost" in their system. She then told me she would talk to her manager to see if I could get a 50$ credit. Throughout the entire experience no one had contacted me even once at any time. I cancelled the order and bought a new couch somewhere else. I will absolutely never be ordering from Wayfair again.
My advice to you: skip Wayfair, and order from somewhere that actually cares about their clientele.
I am completely and utterly shocked at the way Wayfair does "business".if you can even call it that.
We ordered the Tondreau 6 piece couch for a total of $2100 on November 20,2023. On the site, there was NO mention of back order for the item, or that the item was out of stock. After the purchase, they stated the couch could be delivered on Dec 11,2023. That was absolutely perfect as we ended up selling our couch a few days later. We have family coming for the holidays and we were excited for the new couch.
In the days leading up to it, my wife reached out to their customer service as the couch still said it was not shipped. After talking to multiple customer service agents, no one knew anything, nor had an update and they stated it would be coming on Dec 11, as per their website. After a few more tries, we finally reached someone that said that the couch WAS ON BACKORDER and would be coming sometime around the middle to the end of January. When asked how come it never said it was back ordered or if there was something else that we could do, they simply stated "well you didn't cancel it so you still want it and there's nothing we can do". My apologies actually, they did offer a 10% discount for our next purchase. At this point I'd rather build a couch myself from scrap items I find in the city than go through wayfair again.
Not a care in the world for customers nor customer service. Their fix is a 10% discount and a see you later. After reading other reviews, I genuinely don't know how they're still in business as most people are unhappy with their orders or in dealing with them.

VERY DISAPPOINTED SHAME ON YOU WAYFAIR.CA. I ordered an Inflatable hot tub for $579 with 7 day delivery, said in stock, added to cart, paid for and recieved order confirmation email. So excited to be able to get for my kids during isolation and be able to swim in it and have some activity. Two days later I get an email that my order is cancelled due to unexpected discontinuation of the item. Then I look at the website and it's been relisted for $200 MORE. Same model same everything. Nice price markup and gouging just because demand is up at this time. SHAME ON WAYFAIR.CA for being so sleazy and not honoring your own price, accepting an order and then cancelling it with a lie two days later while reposting the exact same item with a $200 markup. Disgusting and will NEVER shop with you again
I have had 2 issues with Wayfair. 1) I ordered a significant number of a single item and the price changed on the site before I received the shipment. I asked them to honour the price as I had not received the order yet and they said they do not do that because the price will probably be even lower the next day. I feel they should have honoured the lower price as I had not received my shipment yet. The customer service rep said he agreed and his wife would only orders from Amazon. I asked for a number to make a complaint to and he said that there isn't one. 2) The sent me the same email with a great price for a chair I had been looking at. I called to order 8 of them and they would not honour the price as they said it was an error. After that call I got the same incorrect pricing 4 more times. I called back and they said they still would not honour the price. Again no number to complain to. I googled how to file a complaint at Wayfair and I get their site showing me file cabinets. Never again.
We bought two items from wayfair. One was a very cute coffee table that looked amazing in pictures from all the angles. When we were putting it together, my husband noticed a crack on the side of the base. This wasn't part of the design it was actually crack in the wood. We called customer service who apologized and told us that they would send us another one. When we got our other piece in time but when we assembled it, we found a crack all along the base piece as well as the side of the top piece. Upon complaining we got a 10% discount on our next purchase.
Next we decided to give Wayfair another chance and ordered a box spring. In the pictures it looked like it was good quality but when we took it out of the box, it was probably the lowest quality wood I have ever seen being used for furniture. The wood cracked from some places when we would put in the screws during assembly.
It's a shame that Wayfair advertises to have good quality furniture and their presentation of the products is impeccable but when it actually comes down to the customer using the actual product, it's a terrible experience!
