Do not buy anything from wayfair.ca, I have ordered backsplash Tile on wayfair.ca and repeatedly they have sent the wrong tiles. Every time when I spoke and complaint to the customer care, that the product they have shipped is wrong, they said we cannot do anything as we don't have control over the supplier who is sending the tiles. They refused to provide more details as its their mistake. Never buying from them again.The product details provided on the website is a mess and completely wrong but they don't care about it.

OVERPRICED DESK

I was looking to buy an L shaped computer desk for my son for Christmas. I checked on Wayfair.ca, and found a really nice one,but it was $1139.99, that was way too expensive. I decided to check around for this same desk to see if it was sold somewhere a little cheaper,and well,to my surprise,I found the identical desk,with identical pictures, and description on Amazon.ca for $198.00 which I then bought! What a rip off! CHECK AROUND BEFORE YOU BUY THERE! BUYER BEWARE!

Wayfair has cancelled our hot tub order 3 times due to "processing issue". After the first cancellation I was told by wayfair rep "everyone is getting a cancellation email and no-one is getting the hot tub" even though the hot tub was available and in stock according to the website. So we reordered. Received a 2nd successful cancellation email even though we did not cancel the order. When i called customer service this time I'm told its a pricing error. Next day product back in stock. When I called customer service this time, Reordered for the 3rd time. This time wayfair held onto our money for 3 weeks only to cancel the order again today. The product price is also up 800%. What a terrible way to do business. We will no longer purchase ANYTHING from Wayfair.
Wayfair never had an intentions of filling the order at the lower posted price. So instead they hang on to customers money for weeks knowing full well the order would not be fulfilled. Sadly, after researching multiple reviews of this company, it's no surprise.

Terrible service.

Terrible service. I ordered a swing bench that was given as multiples currently in stock -- it didn't ship for about 6 weeks. It arrived broken. They agreed to replace by taking the broken part from a complete bench in stock to expedite it, but needing 10 days even just to send it out. From current stock of 7. It did not ship on time. I complained. They now will re-order the entire bench. BUT they sent me a link to having ordered the wrong size and wrong final finish of bench. Will I now get the wrong size, and start this nonsense all over again? I found them very slow to respond; I thought they have givcen inappropriate and inattentive responses.

Defective chair
October 19, 2022

I ordered a power reclining chair for my 84 yr old Blind Mother. It was delivered 2 weeks early, but left in the driveway just 10 feet from the open carport. It was raining as well. I was on Holiday and had to deal with this long distance. It turns out the chair is actually broken. But since my Mom is blind and can't us a computer she couldn't get ahold of them to try to get it warrantied. Now they tell me there was only a 30 day warranty. This is a $900 chair. What kind of business has only a 30 day warranty.
Worst shopping experience I've ever had.

Ordered a sofa online, and cancelled right away. Did not receive cancelation confirmation email. Called agent and was told no need to worry as the delivery is the next day. No email next day. 3rd day morning,. Received an email says the sofa is shipped! Called again, was pushed away, not their business anymore. Have to deal with shipping company. But no tracking no, nothing on their website. Should ever use them. If can give negative review, would help.

Bought a crib from wayfair and fedex did the delivery. My husband refused the box as there was a gapping hole in the middle and we signed it as damaged and refused. When i called wayfair they said i should have accepted the box otherwise they will charge me 75 bucks to ship back to them and that i the consumer needed to call fedex as the person working cannot since they cannot make outside calls. I then received a email from wayfair saying box was damaged call us, and the nice lady offered to send me a new one.which when it came this time it also had a hole on the box and a huge dent on one of the side panels. I called wayfair again and they agreeded to ship me the part once i told them that the part that was damaged. She put the order in. Only for me to get a call and email from wayfair a week later saying hey whats the part you need? Bad customer service multiple time the agents were rude and not helpful. I think i've called wayfair over 6 times for this issue.

Plumbing nightmare
August 16, 2022

Plumbing nightmare. Non standard fittings. Flex hose for sink that kink when flexed. No way around it. I had to add support wire to each hose to strengthen it. Local hardware dealer tried to help me to no evail.
Talked with plumber that shook his head.
He looked at the hoses, kinked in my hand and said, Wayfair? Yes, I said, he smiled and said you won't find the parts you have to go back to Wayfair. I then stiffened and supported the flex hoses. I FIXED THE CHEAP HOSES. I connected the, vanity sink, hot and cold. Finally, no kinks.
Turn on the main supply. Water pouring out of the hot. The pipe welded to the tap was leaking at the joint. BROKEN TAP!
I told my daughter the bad news. I wanted new taps, NOT WAYFAIR junk. I have plumbed for years and not professionally, this stuff is a nightmare. Nothing is, standard, no thought in design.
She contacted Wayair, they are sending out new raps, no questions. And guess what, I can guarantee there will be problems.

Email advertising recliners starting from $200. When I opened the email, the least expensive recliner was $450. That's fine, but don't advertise some that doesn't exist! I was on the phone chatting with 3 different people and no answer was provided. False advertising!

I waited many business days to receive an email, confirming the shipping of my item... nothing. So, I decided to cancel the order, considering how long the order would take to arrive.
Not to my surprise, by the end of the day 'after' I sent the cancellation request (order wasn't shipped yet), I received an email confirming that the order had been shipped.

I ordered an Aleko motorized awning. It took 14 days to arrive, which was 2 days early. I opened it as soon as it arrived, and the motor kit was not in the package.
I went to my order and checked yes the motor kit and remote were part of the sale. I also noticed the price was reduced by 50.$ (6%) I called Wayfair customer service and brought both of these to her attention. She ordered the parts for me and gave me a delivery of June 6th. These parts are in the warehouse of Aleko in Seattle. And would not expedite them. Also because I did not request a price reduction within 7 days of entering the order I was not entitled to a credit. I had not even received the goods yet, but I was not getting a rebate.
Store policy she said. I should have sent back the package as not beeing compleat, and reordered it again.
Will not be a next time for me.

Price change

I have had a millwoid pines fireplace in my cart waiting for it to go on sale from 1019.99. Which it did to 889.99.when I went to buy it didn't allow me. So I thought there was no stock. Today I checl again the name has changed exact same picture and now the price is 1699.99. This is outrageous it was in my cart and should have allowed me to purchase for the price that was there. I had my heart set on this after searching forever and now I hzve to start again. Very disappointed and angry!

Horrible!

I ordered a table which was promised by a certain date and never received it so Wayfair took 25% off the price and recommended to order it again because it was lost. I ordered it again and they added a $50 discount and I waited another 10 days and again, never received it so seeing that this was for my son's new apartment and he already waited a month and had to eat on his bed because he didn't have a table, I cancelled the order and bought a table elsewhere. I asked for some kind of compensation for having my son wait and eat on a bed for a month without a table and they said they couldn't do anything but refund the balance of the money back to me with a 10% discount for my next order! I told them I wasn't planning to buy from Wayfair.

Be aware that waifair is charging your money and dont ship the items you purchased. I bought two itema with them, the website stated delivery in 2 days. After a week of endless emails they told me that i can cancel my ordrer! Do not trust theyr delivery time! You might end up waiting for your items, waste time and missing other deals, and never receive what you purchased! To me it sounds like a fraud.

The old Bait and switch
March 8, 2024

I received an obnoxious amount of emails regarding some vinyl flooring i had previously looked at now being on promotion. I took a look and it sure was reg 5.49sqft on for 1.50 sqft so obviously i ordered it... 500sqft to be exact. I ordered Feb 9 2024 delivery dates changed from original purchase (march 1 or 2 i believe) to march 9-27 but was still reasonable. I started tearing up my old flooring march 3 or 4th in preparation. I received an email that my order was lost in transit and to call within 48hrs to sort out a solution... ok so i called and spoke to a customer service agent and my item was reordered with later delivery date obviously. I now received an email that the order is canceled... i called and was told due to a pricing discrepancy ( they sold ot too cheap) neither order was ever actually placed and was never even shipped! Not only was i lied to but im now stuck with plywood floors and no flooring. Im so disappointed with wayfair and will not ever purchase from them again and i advise you not to unless your ready to be let down.

Ordered this item" Mroz High Back Designer Ergonomic Mesh Executive Chair" when I submitted payment the price came out higher than advertised originally. I sent a snapshot of the advertised price and emailed to Wayfair Canada Customer Service and asked for a supervisor to contact me back. I received a few emails that a supervisor would be contacting (One email specifically stated by the end of the Day) and no one ever did follow up. Wayfair is misleading customers with their advertised pricing. The Service is getting far worse and their prices keep rising. #BOYCOTT #WAYFAIR.

I have ordered a few things from Wayfair and not once a good experience! The delivery date is always way off. Customer service only tells you what you want to hear yet nothing about the order changes. I have at leas 5 people who I told about Wayfair order things and the ALL had the problems and more! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I placed an order on the Wayfair site on March 24,2018. It is now May 17th and I am still to receive my order. I contacted them to inquire on the delay. I received a response stating the delay I am experiencing is not the norm and they would have someone in their "Case Management Team" contact me. Needless to say, I did not hear from anyone in this department, if it even exists... I contacted them again, and I didn't even receive a response back from "Customer Service" second time around. Clearly once they charge your credit card, they really don't care after that. I have visited their site several times in the past and was discouraged due to their high prices however this time as I finally found what I was looking for, I decided to proceed even if the item was overpriced. I completely regret that decision and will never purchase from Wayfair again. It may not be the experience that everyone has had with them, however based on MY experience, I have no choice but to advise everyone to avoid this company... the fact that they don't even care and bother to respond to shipment issues is a major red flag in my opinion.

I bought a carpet from Wayfair.ca it had 5000+ reviews with an average of 4.5 stars. But when I received the product, it was a lousy product not worth even a 1/2 star. I wrote a review posting a one-star and Wayfair did not post it. No wonder the product received a high average star rating. DON'T TRUST WAYFAIR.CA STAR RATINGS, PERIOD.
