I see a lot of bad reviews about merchandise from Wanelo or slow shipping. What you need to understand is that Wanelo itself is only a gateway (albeit a very loose and rather unhelpful one) to thousands of separate online stores. This means that Wanelo is not listing the items or shipping them. A completely separate merchant is. Wanelo does have merchant guidelines in place, but I cannot speak to whether or not they actually enforce them. I have a Shopify store with the Wanelo plug-in, which means my items do transfer over to Wanelo from my webstore- pulling my photos and descriptions with them. If my item is purchased through Wanelo, it comes in like any other order but does NOT allow me to contact the buyer directly. My recommendation would be to google the merchant name and check them out outside of Wanelo. Look for customer reviews, business practices, etc. Verify that the merchant is in your own country before flipping over a 30 day ship time. I am *not* saying that Wanelo should not help you or shield you better, but in any event it would behoove you to know who you are actually buying from.
I have been using wanelo ever since it came out, before there was even an app. It is a really great idea, and it was good for giving other people links for things I wanted. The problem is that wanelo decided to start creating their own stores. This usually wouldn't be bad, but these "fulfilled by wanelo" stores are not real. They are mostly based in China and the photos posted of items are stolen from other stores such as Urban Outfitters, Forever 21, Brandy Melville, etc. If you order from these stores, they send an extremely cheap excuse for the item pictured. This is not just my own opinion; you can go on any of the stores and see that many of the items have horrible reviews explaining exactly the same thing and showing photos of it. If they do have good reviews, they are clearly fake reviews by accounts hired by the company, or they are made by an account called "reviewed by wanelo" which is the most ridiculous idea I have ever heard. What company gives itself positive reviews? Answer = frauds. I have contacted Wanelo several times about this issue and they have never done anything to resolve it or even given me a straight answer back, just said "this is a very serious issue, we're sorry" and never did anything about it. I still use wanelo because I have not yet found a more ethical alternative, but I never buy from "fulfilled by wanelo" stores and would advise anyone else not to buy from them either.
I returned shoes and they were received Aug 11. I have sent photos of tracking number receipt and sent numerous emails. Ridiculous!

Ordered over 200 dollars worth of items an they all got cancelled an I haven't seen any money coming back to my account an go figure you can't even get ahold of anyone to get any answers I'm pissed DO NOT USE THIS APP!

My daughter ordered a dress on Wanelo.
When it finally came it was not the material she thought it would be and she never even tried the dress on. It cost me $65 dollars with shipping and it took weeks to show up.
When it came we were not in town. As we caught up with our mail from being gone we opened this package and realized we would return the dress.
To my dismay we called Wanelo and left messages to find out how to return the item. We were not called back. By the time we finally figured out how to do the return we were told the dress had to be returned within 7 days of the receipt or it could not be returned. I have never ever heard of such a short turn around. I emailed the Wanelo customer service account and got a brief reply that they were sorry we could no longer return the dress.
That was it. I would have like information on how to communicate with the store directly to talk about my displeasure and to see if I could try to still return the dress.
I have not heard back from Wanelo about this.
I am now stuck with a dress that has never even been tried on.
We ordered in mid July and it is now Mid August. Surely most stores would let you return.
I think this site uses poor companies that are making customers frustrated.

The return policy for a store is always available to review prior to making a purchase however I do understand that due to being out of town, the process was a little more difficult. Our support phone line can be busy at times, but we commit to calling you back within 48 hours. I definitely understand 7 days being a short turnaround time, so we'll go ahead and discuss with the store to determine if they would be open to extending it a little. I have ordered well over 1, ooo us dollars in the past year. Things seemed ok. My last 2 orders never arrived. I emailed them over 10 times especially because it was a month after delivery date. Asking for a refund, of course NO REPLY. Just automated responses that send you in circles with no resolve. Finally called my bank who gave me a refund, FINALLY. After asking wanelo over 10 times for items I NEVER received. Now wanelo emails me, suspending my account when there was still one more paid order, so that's three that I never received. They basically will threaten you if you dispute a charge, lock you out of your account even if you have other items pending delivery. And tell you if you dont reversecthe dispute you wont receive your other paid stuff. DONT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS FRAUDULENT COMPANY
I had ordered a handbag back in November 2022 and it's now end of March 2023 and I still have not received my purchase and I have emailed them and I get no response on why or when I will be getting it and I have been askyfor refund and they will not respond, seems like scam to me
My order has been processing for almost three weeks. I emailed the store and got no answer. We are now contacting the store through a lawyer as the order was expensive

All the items are from china with bad quality and also its really not worth it. STAY AWAY from Wanelo and you can easily get blocked to. I reported them to the better business bureau.

I've ordered I think maybe 3 items from Wanelo in the past year. The first one, it was coming late, so I emailed the seller and they responded quickly! They said the order was unable to be tracked, so asked if I would like a refund or to wait, so I just wanted a refund and got one within a week or two. The second and third items I did wait, but only about 2-3 weeks. A fair waiting time. I was happy with my orders! I always checked the reviews to know which things were good to order from and which weren't. Always check if it's Asian or American size. That's a huge thing to look out for. And for the ones thinking they actually have name brand, no, hun. They don't have shoes straight from Adidas, not from Nike, not from the store itself unless you're lucky to find some from the store like Jack Rogers, and Lilly Pulitzer. But other than that, no. Don't expect name brand. I cannot stress this enough to you guys to check the reviews. If you order from a place without checking and later on see that it had negative reviews, that's on you. Sorry, but it's true.

I ordered two shirts through Wanelo with in the last month. This last weekend I received the second shirt, and just like the first, it was nothing like the picture or description of the product. The first was supposed to have sequin arrows down the arms of a teal tunic top. The shirt I received was a very cheap long sleeve with the 'arrows' made from scrap fabric. The scraps were hand sewn by a very inexperienced person. It was a complete knock-off of the original image, which I am assuming, was not even the 'stores' photo. The second shirt was also a tunic style top with sequin accents in the sleeves and pocket. The shirt I received again was a basic long sleeve with sections of the sleeve cut our for more scrap fabric to be sewn in even more carelessly. The color was wrong, size was wrong, and was not ANYTHING like the picture and description. Again, I was sold a knock-off of a boutique shirt. Why on earth is Wanelo allowing these stores (I ordered through Wanelo from two separate shops) to sell their crap on this site? After reading through some of the reviews I have noticed this is a recent and ongoing problem! I used to love Wanelo, but not anymore! I have sent emails to Wanelo to voice my concern and get a full refund, but I have yet to see that refund. I will never again use this app for anything. They are crooks!

Wanelo is great I spend hours looking at stuff I've never bought anything off the site though because I think lots of the stores are invalid but it's a good site/ app
Beware of Wanelo... I had my site closed, but an order came through from the Wanelo sales channel (first one I've had). I was out of town, but still got it shipped in my 7-10 business day shipping time frame. I couldn't contact the buyer; it was a generic Wanelo email address. Emails were returned, not delivered. Luckily, she had looked at my website and realized it was closed. So she emailed me directly. I let her know it was fine, and when I expected it to ship.
Then I realized they hold sellers' payments for 30 days after the item ships, AND they require items to be shipped within 5 days. Yeah. Nope. I disconnected it from my Shopify site, but I want to cancel my Wanelo account. Their help page says there is a link on the "store settings" page. I've looked literally 50 times. Nothing. Its always a bad sign when a company makes it hard to cancel. Scammish. I'm surprised Shopify is sort of "partnering" with them... I think they'll be getting a complaint from me about it.
And then there are the reviews. TERRIBLE. Unless you drop ship or sell cheap pre-made junk from China... I'd stay away from it! They take 15%. They're crazy.
I purchased an item on May 31,2015 and it is Now July 24th and I still have not received my item and I have not been reimbursed my money. I do not recommend ordering from wanelo or Cognitive FashionEd.

I have never bought anything off of this site and somehow my email was compromised on the dark web from them. I only found out because I got an alert from Experian. I wouldn't trust this company.

Answer: You gotta realise, wanelo isnt a shopping site, it just connects your site through their shopping gateway while wanelo collects money through affiliates. I dont think wanelo is even responsible for people who dont ship or cheat their customers.

Answer: Once you try to cancel you will not be able to they are going to do anything to keep you on ice because their intent is not to give you your money back and they will string you along hopefully you forget and say it's not worth trying to get it back.
