This is the worst online experience of my life. I've ordered things that have not been refunded properly to my account. They lied to me for 1 whole year saying someone will contact me and no one did. Then now I ordered with a voucher they offered me for the inconvenience and they emailed saying it was at my door step when it wasn't. I'm on hold now and they tell me that they need to escalate it again and someone will get back to me. This is a damn nitemare! I will neverrrrrrrrr order from Walmart online again! Ever!

I ordered 2 small Duracell batteries ($8.92 plus 5% tax) that showed there would be a shipping charge of $15.99 plus 5% tax. When talking with a person at Walmart.ca I asked is there anyway of removing the shipping charge and after the woman checked with someone else in her department she came back on the phone and said she could waive the shipping fees. I asked her if at the time of my actual online purchase if she could remove the shipping charge including taxes at that point. Her response was that I would have to include the shipping charge at the time of the online purchase and she then said that I would receive a credit on my credit card for the shipping charges including taxes with in 24 hours of my placing the order over the phone with Walmart.ca. I placed the order on November 21,2021 and at this date of December 4,2021 I have never received any credit on my original form of purchase period. I have talked with numerous Supervisors at Walmart Canada explains the whole situation to no avail and I have asked now 2 to speak with Managers at Walmart Canada but to date no one has returned my call. As I made it very clear on my first original phone call to Walmart Canada that If I had to pay $15.99 shipping charges on a $8.92 product that I would NEVER purchase this item. I was reassured that I would receive the shipping credit back to my original credit card again. This appears to me as being very misleading and fraudulent on Walmart Canada's part.

Zero star, worst online purchase experience ever

Walmart often oversells online stock, and makes customer wait much much longer than the estimated delivery. I've been tricked twice to order from walmart.ca and ended up waiting a lot longer than anticipated.
Walmart online support is also a joke. Whenever you inquiry them about order status, they would ask you to wait, or have some scripted answer saying the order is backordered. How could you allow the purchase to go through if you do not even have enough stock? They make it sound like that's normal to bait and switch and leave customer in the dark.
My recommendation is that if you have a choice, DO NOT order from walmart online. Buy from amazon or other reputable online stores. You'll thank me later.

I returned 2 items purchased online and returned in person to store almost 2 weeks ago. Walmart later refused to acknowledge refund took place and the telephone customer service has been appallingly ineffective despite multiple calls and an online chat. It feels as though they are all minions programmed to say the same useless scripted lines. The refund has not even been initiated. Utterly despicable customer service. Shop elsewhere.

Price spam
November 29, 2021

Near black friday i placed order for two Graco turbobooster carsets online price showing 49.97.
Received shipment notification the following day indicating delivery date is the following Monday.
However when i am expecting the shipment to arrive, i received two cancellation notice saying both items out of stock therefore online order has been cancelled. I then went back online to the product link, and see they have two new colors created and price jumped to $79.97, the two other colors i purchased showing price not available. Called customer service and they insisted it's two different product therefore cannot price match for me, and they do not hang up the phone because they don't want me to leave a bad phone review! What a price scam and "well trained" employee, well done Walmart!

Recently I ordered a exercise panel for my mom who is going abroad in a week. In Walmart website item described as it will be delivered on 1st of Dec. After placing order I was feeling happy to handed it to my mom before she leave. But today I received email that my order will be delivered on 6th Dec. I called Walmart support center for inquiry, instead of getting help I was told to call courier to request early delivery or request to cancel the shipment. When I asked to speak to their supervisor, he put me on hold and after that my line got hanged up. This is totally ridiculous and unacceptable. I will delete my account and will never order anything from walmart.

A few times now I have bought many things at Walmart. I usually never check my receipt. Today I did when I realized I bought 4 packages of chicken (4 in a package) BUT they charged me for 5. I was so upset when I saw this on my receipt. I just sat down made myself a coffee. When I had to pack up the chicken and drive all the way back to Walmart to get the money for the 1 package of chicken back on my debit card. I know it wasn't the lady that worked in Customer services fault. It was the cashiers fault. This has happened before a few times now. But today I was so angry. Gas is very expensive now and my time is too. I am disabled. It's difficult for me to go grocery shopping, so when I am finally home I am in quite a bit of pain. For Walmart they might be thinking oh big deal we are crediting the woman her money back on debit. BUT I think Walmart should say here is your money back and here is a gift card for whatever for your troubles. Other grocery stores would do that.

In mid Oct 2021, I ordered a hunting camera from Walmart.ca. At the time I ordered and paid for it, I thought the price was pretty low, which made me wonder if it was a scam or a legit sale. The camera was advertised as discontinued stock, or something like that. I waited for it to arrive and got an email (24 Nov 2021) saying that my hunting camera had been delivered. When I opened the package, it contained 2 bamboo toothbrushes (the package had the tracking number of the camera, it was unopened, and the email message telling me it was in my mailbox showed a picture of the camera). The seller (a third part seller from China) appears to be a con artist that posted this camera with a low price to attract people that he could scam. When I tried to complain about this, I found Walmart's page really lacking - I wanted to post a picture, but there was no place to attach it. This episode really bothered me because I waited for so long and could have bought one somewhere else in the 40 days or so that I waited. After sending the seller two messages and waiting for another 2 days for him to respond - still nothing from the seller. Had this been a sale on Ebay or Amazon, I don't think this seller would be tolerated. Anyway, after asking, I learned that two of my friends also had a similar experience on Walmart.ca - money taken, but goods not delivered or misrepresented. I really don't understand how Walmart can allow con artists like this to sell on their platform. I thought Walmart was a reputable place to buy from, but I can see now that they aren't. If you order from Walmart.ca, be careful - if it looks like a good deal, you're probably going to be ripped off (like I was).

I ordered a set of chairs from Walmart that came with the wrong screws and some missing pieces. I called Walmart customer service, and at the first moment, they said they couldn't find my order and would investigate and contact me within 48 hours. Five days passed, and Walmart never returned me. I called them back, provided the same information regarding my order that I had provided before, and they found my order and product I was referring to immediately. Then they made me wait for a while on the phone and said they had NOTHING to do with the wrong pieces to assemble my chair and I should solve the problem with the manufacturer. They gave me a number to call, and it was wrong! I called them back and asked me for the second time if I wouldn't like to return the product and get a new one, but I said no because 4 of the 6 chairs from the set were correctly assembled and I was already using them. Just 2 of the chairs I couldn't assemble. So they made me wait for a while again and gave me a different number to contact the manufacturer. Now I'm still trying to solve the problem because the manufacturer doesn't answer the phone. I'm trying to solve a very simple problem for more than a month! They should simply deliver me the right screws and pieces, and I would assemble the 2 remaining chairs!

I was at Walmart on Empress. Had to purchase paint sealer, the nearest I can go to since the road was slippery and don't want to drive farther. I approached an old employee(man)and asked for assistance to get a couple of paint sealer. He answered back "what for?" (What is paint sealer for?) and he said "is it locked?" (Ofcourse the glass cabinet was locked! That's why I'm asking for help!) I only said those sentences in parentheses inside my head cause I don't wanna be rude. And his was like he was yelling at me. He said he's gonna call an associate because he doesn't have the key. He continued what he was doing and I walked away thought he's not gonna do anything. And so he called but no one came waited for couple of minutes. I looked for another employee. An old employee again, this time a lady wearing a yellow vest. I did the same approach and also answered back "what for?" The same thing happened on the first situation. I also waited for couple of minutes and nothing! I don't want to say there was a discrimination involved but it felt like it! They should be staying home because it seems they looked tired already at past 2:00pm and showing attitude to customers like me. This happened November 18th.

When you buy a phone at Walmart you get a Walmart receipt but it's deceiving because you're not really buying a phone from Walmart. It's a third party seller. I bought a phone at Walmart in Ottawa and asked return policy and was only told normal return conditions. After I paid I asked, if there's a problem I can return this to any Walmart, right? I lived in a different city so needed to be sure. He replied rudely no it has to be returned right here because we are not Walmart. Good thing I asked because there was no indication otherwise. I returned it immediately and went to Best Buy where I was told I could return it to any Best Buy in Canada.

Don't waste your time buying a printer cartridge here. The peg is locked good luck trying to find somebody to unlock it for you. Second time I tried this never again

Terrible delivery times

Ordered a drone and expected delivery date was November 4th. Tracking on November 5th said picked up by Canada post, but no new expected delivery date. Tracking will go days before updating.

Seems like there isn't a place to leave a FB review. So I will just add this to a bunch of posts.
Walmart delivered the wrong sized item today.
Their solution?
Go to the store and MAYBE they will take it back or you go to post office and return to us.
Seems like they will send a courier back to pick up wrongly delivered large items but not small ones. So when they tell you they didn't have a system to pick up - it's a lie. They just don't want to spend the ten bucks to do it.
If I ordered wrong or changed my mind - I get it. It's on me to fix.
But they screwed up and their customer has to fix it.
Lost customer over a ten dollar courier.
Well done Walmart.
Here I come Wayfair who corrects their mistake with grace and good policies.

Impossible to get stock
October 25, 2021

Tried to get a pair of men's shoes... store employees standard answer... we know nothing about stock coming in and have no way of knowing what other stores have in stock. Tried to order through website... showing item but cannot order it... called Walmart customer service... answer... we can only help you after you order the item... very frustrating experience... anyways went to anther store and bought not 1 pair of shoes but 2 pairs... great customer service from Walmart... it is the perfect way to lose customers.

I've been a long time customer of Walmart, subscribing for baby products that I received every few weeks. Recently, a couple of hundred dollar baby formula order was placed using my account. I contacted Walmart but they didn't take responsibility. I decided to contact them again several hours later; they told me the order doesn't exist in their records anymore. I see this as a serious matter and am surprised that it's not being addressed by the company unless there's something going on internally.
