Walmart Sucks!

I ordered a wallet for my wife and when I arrived in Canada, I was willing to wait for it to arrive but a third party cancelled it after I had waited for over a month for it!
Use Amazon!

Cautionary Tale

I purchased a Starfrit griddle online through Walmart. A 1-year warranty was included with the purchase. I contacted Customer Service, on Monday January 8th, but they indicated that items through other companies are not honoured by Walmart since their 30 day return policy applies to all products. When directed to contact Starfrit's directly, I found that it would cost about $30 to send the skillet back through Canada Post. Buyer beware. Shop directly in store, or if the product is only available online, avoid third party vendors. Very limiting, since so many items are only available online. Better to order directly from company selling these products, but the cost will be higher, although the warranty will likely be honoured. Good luck! 🙄

An error in an original canvas collage print p/u before Christmas. One print was missing their head. To try to correct, received instructions from photo processing. Instructed me to return to store I had received collage and call photo dept with confirmation # given from photo processing. On calling photo processing from Walmart, I was then asked where my canvas print was? This detail had not been relayed. Communication is paramount. Since the order was online and obviously the personnel had access to editing, I would not assume further information was required.

The manager (Linda or Santa, what ever) at Walmart London North told me and the employee that the xchange is only for the new battery and to get the xchange, I have to wait the new one dead - after years. Really, is it a fraud? Shut up, the dishonest lady.

When I turned around to leave, a safety guard stand in front of me.

STOP TREAT YOUR CUSTOMER AS A FOOL AND LIKE CRIMINAL.

Went to Walmart London South at Wellington Rd, no issues.

Shame on you, Walmart London North.

Filed a complain to customer care and no response yet...

Purchased jeans in Langley bc didn't fit person so tried to return to Walmart Mapleridge with receipt same day told would have to go back to Langley as they didn't carry that sku after complaining to interim manager she credited my card

Placed order quoted weekl later pick up at Walmart. Tracking just showed awaiting wmlogistics to pick up. On day order was promised called to find out would be another 4 day's. Checking reorder showed we're back ordered. Don't use this company can't trust them

I would give them a zero if I could. I ordered an item from Walmart.ca. My credit card was charged (within seconds) by Walmart.ca. Received a notice three days later from Walmart.ca that the item was in the process of being delivered, with a gauranteed delivery by the following Thursday. A week after, still no package and no word from Walmart.ca. It took a bit of digging to finally get to a customer service page, only to receive the message that there site was down and I could try again later. I drove 20 minutes to a Walmart which was able to supply me me with a phone number to a call centre NOT in Canada, who told me they would love to refund me my money, but that was impossible as the refund period had expired. They also said because a third party supplier from China filled the order, I would have to deal with them. Of course, there is no way for me to contact them, but Walmart.ca would let them know that the package never arrived. According to the supervisor I talked to, Walmart.ca was not responsible, even though I ordered from and paid money to Walmart.ca. It was the responsibility of the supplier, and Walmart.ca could in no way offer me any refund. So, I have NO package! NO refund! No recourse! NEVER order from Walmart.ca. It's a SCAM! They took my money, did not supply the item paid for, and won't refund my money!

Useless customer service

I had purchased gift card through walmart canada online. I was supposed to receive an email on how to access the gift card. I never received it. Called customer support twice. They said the second time they would escalate. However, all they did is leave me a message repeating what they said the first time. "please check your spam and confirm your email". I had done this and still not received the card. I know my email is good as I received the email indicating the card was being processed. The customer support did nothing for me and was so difficult to hear when I called. The message they sent was barely audible.and when I spoke to them on the phone the connection was awful. I think they are there to answer questions only. Not resolve any issues which occur. Awful Service

I ordered olive oil online.
Next day, as I was going to the store to pick it up, I got an email that they don't have it!
Why do they put it on the website if not available, and charge people for the item that you don't have?!

Then They automatically replaced it with potato chips! (How relevant)

I have been on the phone and chatting with them for over a week now. It is very inconvenient.

For every question I ask, they keep saying: "Sorry it is a technical glitch". How many technical glitches in one order. If your website has that many technical glitch, please take it off on the internet. Fix the glitches and then come back.

Why should a customer waste hours because of your technical glitches?

My last time shopping online on Walmart.

This is a follow up to my previously posted review about my online experience with Walmart.
They have no intentions of picking up their product from my door, as per their "promise". I called yesterday again and spoke to another, completely useless, representative. He never answered ANY of my questions, but instead, kept misleading me and saying that he "needs to escalate it" again.
I asked when are these items are going to be picked up? He did not answer, and asked if I received an email from them with the Return Instructions and Return Label which I must print. I answered that I did not. He sent me an email that said that I have to return the items to the Return Centre, but there were no Return Label, no Return Center address, and no instructions.
I asked him to send me the return instructions with the Return Label, to which he answered, yes you guessed it, "I have to escalate it".
At which point I lost it and asked to be transferred to his manager, which he did; the phone has been ringing indefinitely, without being answered.
The proof of purchase says "Return by mail"; however, it does not provide with any return address or instructions. When I went on Walmart website, it vaguely says that the terms of return of items purchased in store and online are the same.
So today, I have to get a truck and a person to help me to deliver these heavy items to a store location and see what happens.
It is quite obvious that Walmart is doing everything in its power to make you keep your purchase, and give you a hell of a hard time to cancel your online purchase, which is your legal consumer right protected by the Consumer Protection Act.
Not only Walmart is acting in bad faith, it is breaking the Canadian laws that protect us as a consumer, at our own expense.
Think about it next time you need to make a purchase. After this bad faith business, I am buying more from Canadian Tire...

A puzzle was listed for $3 so I went to store, but none in stock, and oddly, none of the many similar listing were in stock in their biggest store in Surrey BC, in this city, beside a huge transit terminal. Also bought a cleaning liquid that smelled worse than cat pee. No hint in this product that it could cause sneezing, gagging, for days. Four people who checked stock in two floors could find this liquid. Also, it contained no enzymes, per its Material Safety Data Sheet. Walmart has a common law duty to check product it sells. I located it myself. Prices are higher than Superstore, generally. Much higher than Dollarama in the same mall, sometime 300% higher.

Do not order online.

I ordered a TV that was supposed to arrive on Friday. It showed Friday on Both Walmart and their shipping supplier. Nothing arrived on Friday. When I called they said that there was nothing they could do and that I needed to call the shipping company and myself (weird since I bought this from Walmart not "CEVA Logistics". I tried calling the shipping company and sure enough no one answered the phone. Called walmart on Saturday. Same thing. Nothing they can do. Someone will "call me back". Called Walmart again on Monday. Same thing. "nothing we can do. Someone will call you back". Called the shipping company again on Tuesday. They finally answered with an attitude blaming Walmart and their website for giving me wrong information and saying that "someone will call me to arrange delivery. I asked, when? They said, sometime this week. I have never had such a bad experience ordering anything online. That's my first and, definitely, last Walmart.ca order. I should have stuck to what I knew and used amazon.

By laws and a lawyer you are not obligated to give your receipt to anyone at the door. They went through all my cart to find why I was beeping at the door, it took 45 minutes all this in front of all the clients very humiliating. I will contact my lawyer and see what I could do...

I purchased the Moxie trampoline from Walmart last year with high hopes for a durable and enjoyable long-term investment. However, my experience has been far from satisfactory. While initially impressed by its design and promises of quality, my disappointment grew when I encountered a significant issue after just one year of use.

Upon disassembling the trampoline for winter storage, I noticed multiple tears and damage to the hooks on the jumping mat. This unexpected deterioration significantly compromises the trampoline's safety and performance. For a nearly $1000 product, I expected a much higher level of durability and longevity.

When I reached out to Walmart seeking assistance under the warranty, I was informed that the warranty had expired, leaving me without any recourse for what appears to be a premature and concerning product defect. This lack of support and the apparent short lifespan of the trampoline have left me deeply dissatisfied.

The Moxie trampoline has not lived up to its promises of quality and durability, failing to withstand even a year of regular use. As a consumer, I find it unacceptable that a product of this price range should deteriorate so quickly, especially without any recourse for repair or replacement.

In summary, I am thoroughly disappointed both in the quality of the Moxie trampoline and the lack of meaningful support from Walmart regarding the warranty. I would caution potential buyers to consider alternatives with better reputations for durability and customer service.

I ordered large cans of juice they substituted for small cans and over charged me getting not even half of my order

So sad to say all Walmart customer service is gone! No one in isles to help you now and if you have health issues you can't run around looking for someone. Let's talk checkouts shall we! Every week I shop I help elderly shoppers put groceries on the belt and pack for them! Then I do my own! Shame on you Walmart! So many line up at one opened regular checkout and one poor checkout person stressed out. Everyone in the lineup refuses to do self service ones as they many have health issues or are upset with no regular ones open and no one helping anyway! I hope so much that Zellers comes back with a huge store I'll be back Zellers, love you!

I Do not trust Walmart Online shopping!

I ordered online a couple of headlight bulbs for my car one month ago. It supposed to be delivered at early November, yet I have not received my order. I claimed it, but nothing happened neither receive my order or refund my money.
I never do online shopping with Walmart any more.
