I went to Walgreens to pick up my blood pressure medication. When I arrived the stated that they have a new procedure and my medication would be ready tomorrow. I explained to the person at the window My doctor stated if I didn't get this medication today I will be forced to go to the emergency department. He again stated it was nothing he could do. I left and had to report to the ER. I spent 6 hours in the ER getting a whole work up in order to get my medicine. The next day I called at 11am to ask if my medicine had arrived and the lady that answered the phone stated that it was there and once they process it in I would get the notification on my phone. I asked her if she could just make sure it was there and I would wait if not I would have my doctor use another pharmacy. The lady stated she would check the manifest. When she came back to the phone she stated that my name was not up there, she then stated she pulled my prescription and now she can fill it. Please tell me why they couldn't do this yesterday?
WARNING! DON'T GO HERE IF YOU DON'T HAVE TO! Jari V. the pharmacist assistant tells customers that he will personally call your clinic or Dr. and figure out your refills or any unique circumstance you may have. LIE he never calls and I caught him in a lie and he refused to accept fault or remedy the situation. I had to stand at the counter and make sure he was making the calls that he says he is doing. The pharmacist on duty, Catherine N. Never never never once asked me what was wrong or even how she could help. She only proceeded to yell at me as a customer in front of other customers threatening my private information and that I didn't need to know about Jari's phone conversation with MY Dr. I asked for apologies and was given none. If we didn't have to go somewhere so close I would rethink ever coming to Walgreens 6390 Brooklyn Blvd Brooklyn Center. If you can go to another pharmacy GO. They obliviously do not care about their customers well being or having any proper customer relations.
I've ordered a few things through Walgreens online before with minimal issues (people at the front couldn't figure out where the packages were), but this most recent time has made me decide never to purchase anything online through them again.
I recently purchased a scale for shipping purposes back on September 27th and the email said that it would take 3-7 business days to ship to the store. I waited and waited and never received a 'delivered status' email or phone call. I went in on Oct. 14th and the cashier clerk said that it was still being shipped. I checked my tracking status and it showed that it was delivered to the store but was being sent back? So I called the Walgreens help number and spoke with someone and they said that it must have been a glitch and that I should receive it the following Monday. Never heard anything.
I checked the tracking status the following Tuesday and it said that it was shipped to Georgia? (I live in Chandler, AZ). I called the Walgreens help number and they said that they couldn't give me a refund that I would have to dispute it with Paypal Credit (who I bought it through).
I called Paypal credit and they said it could take up to 60 days to get a refund.
LONG story short. Don't order online through Walgreens- they're not consistent and will not refund you if your packages are never delivered.
I've been waiting over 7 hours for a generic antibiotic and would have been nice to start today. Their ARU says they're working on. So I tried to call several times and waiting 30 - 60 minutes each time before getting frustrated and hanging up. Can't reach a living soul so I have no idea why it's taking so long to fill an antibiotic. I called their competitor around the corner, Walmart, and got a living, breathing pharmacy person on the phone in 30 minutes. I asked if they could take over my prescription and they said they could but would need to call Walgreens...BUT WALGREENS DOESN'T ANWER THEIR PHONE. This has happened to me several times before, you would think I would have learned, but tonight was the last straw. Tomorrow I'm calling my Dr and having them reissue my prescrption to Walmart and will be cancelling all my auto-refill prescriptions from Walgreen to Walmart. To many alternative these days to put up with this nonsense. Walgreens, you're going to be the next Kmart and will wonder why shen you business shrinks (as it already had)...well, this is why. You don't take care of your customers, they leave. I'm gone...forever.
It won't allow me to give a business a 5* rating. Which is frustrating. If site jabber is legit, why is it forcing people to give false 1* ratings. I would like for this review to have been of Amazon. Which I love btw. I will be dropping Prime because they took out the 2 day delivery for Prime members. Well everyone actually. 2 day shipping does not mean 2 day delivery. I have to pay for 1 day shipping to get anything sooner than 5 days. Which means I will probably be buying a lot of stuff from other sites. Instead of buying every little thing from Amazon. Because it's faster. And I have found that I can get stuff like tablets a lot cheaper from Game Stop. Who knew. If I'd of known. Which if they hadn't removed my only Prime benefit I used, I never would have known. But I will always be an Amazon customer. They have awesome customer service. I have bought and returned 3 tablets in less than a month. Each time they gave me an advanced refund. Meaning they refunded my money before I even sent the items back. Which is awesome. That means I don't have to wait to buy my next item. They also pay return shipping and give you the option to choose to have UPS pick up the return from your home. And they set it up. No printing your label. And if you have to have a label because UPS pickup is not available, they will mail you a label if you do not have a printer. So returns are hassle free. Customer service is usually friendly. I have run into the typical shouldn't deal with the public types. But they aren't the norm. More often than not, their representatives are helpful and curtious.
STAY AWAY. If you ever went to this pharmacy you know what I'm saying. THIS PHARMACY AND ITS WORKERS SUCK. You want to be treated like crap, go to this pharmacy and you will get the demeaning chubby girl to talk down on you. You will wait every time you go to this store for at least 45 minutes and then get treated like like crap and demeanedThey are all rude and degrading, don't know anything about giving meds and think they can just treat you with disrespect and waste your time and laugh about it. 2 minutes down Ann road and CENTENIAL will treat you right and no lines to wait in and no disrespectful people waiting on you. They should fire every person in this department and all the custo ers will be very happy. Walgreens on Rainbow and Ann. STAY AWAY.
This is a great place to shop when the items you need are out of stock at your local drugstore. You can also use paper coupons. Just mail them in.
My experience overall is good… Variety of products, great deals, lots of coupons, rewards; friendly user apo, but doesn't accept US Territory Credit Cards.
Really great reward programs. Nice selection of merchandise. Clean stores. App is user friendly & allows you to check stock at local stores.
An item in my order spilled, but overall ok. Sometimes packages take a long time to arrive; other times they arrive super fast.
When I'm under a time constraint these stores are fast. Just call in a prescription and use the drive through for pickup.
