I brought some trainers which seller posted via yodel, the delivery was marked as delivered which they were not. I contacted yodel to see where they were they said they could see by drivers sat nav that the parcel was delivered miles from my home and would make enquires this would take 48hrs. So I told the seller and just waited to hear back from yodel big mistake if you don't click issue with item within 2 days of it stating delivered vinted will not help! Yodel couldn't find parcel and said to contact seller! Basically I was left out of pocket even though I paid for buyer protection! Really not good enough you can't have a selling site that has no protection for buyers. I won't be purchasing on vinted again it's not worth the risk!
Not much more to say, after being mis sold and lied to on an advert on Vinted They have failed to offer any buyer protection and are refusing to help protect my consumer rights in any way.
If Selling - be prepared to have 50% to 100% of your listings deleted for absolutely ficticous reasons (copyright infringement if you take nice pics, duplicates if even one word is the same as another listed item, catalog non-compliance for items very much in compliance).
If you attempt to appeal via starting a Help inquiry - BE PREPARED! They will copy & Paste any of their pre-written responses and send them to you, even if the response doesn't make any sense. The most frustrating is when they stop copy & pasting and start outright lying (we deleted because you used the same photos... my response was to send screenshot I took immediately after listing and it clearly shows 2 different items... their response - oh wait - no we didn't actually delete anything -- see, you just sent us a screenshot that proves your items are still there!)... basically, the help desk folks get a 5 star review for mastering the skills of gaslighting, manipulation, intentionally lying, and telling you as their platform user to just STFU already, this matter is resolved - even though it is not.
Tracking updates are ATROCIOUS... sellers - beware! No clue how they do it - but they also re-use tracking numbers = track your label even before you get it pkg ready to go! And then --- make sure to keep a manual list of outstanding orders because they will NOT update items as delivered = YOU WILL NOT GET PAID when they do this (which is about 6 out of every 20 orders in my experience).
BUYERS - beware! If a seller sends you an item that is not as described - you will be paying retail shipping rates to return the POS you received. Vinted is equally as unhelpful to buyers as they are to sellers.
BOTTOM LINE - I'm 100% convinced this site is operational simply to be a tool for earning Google AdSense revenue -- and any inquiries or help requests submitted are perceived as annoying and disturbing their fun time of making bank on getting us to view pages!

I am listing things very, very reasonably, as I am getting closer to move date. I have a few buyers that have been unsatisfied with their low cost purchases and want to return them. Ie. 1.99 purchase with. 99 shipping. Can you imagine the cost of both our our time, the couriers and vinted's. Some shoppers are very unreasonable. Buyers need to read the posting details before buying. A few items have been lost by couriers. Otherwise things are going pretty good.
Outrageous! This site encourages dishonest buyers and you risk losing your branded items because they give reason to thieves and dishonest! They do no professional checks and no support to recover your items if doubts or dissatisfaction.
Absolutely shocking total lack of customer service. I sent 2 parcels at the same time and the courier company labelled them incorrectly.so they went to the wrong people. One buyer suspended the transaction straight away and the other didn't so I received their money. Trying to get any help from Vinted to resolve this was unbelievably hard. They have a script, told me it was my mistake for sending 2 parcels at the same time and I should sort it out in aa friendly way with my buyers. Different people at the customer service desk dealing with it instead of just one person so going round and round. So I will be out of pocket and they don't care.

Sellers on Vinted are not protected at all while we are the ones paying Vinted for publicity of our articles. When an article gets lost during transport they refund the buyer and the seller doesn't get any refund, while we are the ones that lose our products and our money! This is really an only buyer oriented site! Not honest at all! And people of the helpdesk don't even help they act and talk like robots.
I have got evidence for my purchases, have sold over 100 items around the world. All well and good, untill a scammer comes along. The person does not have any previous purchases nor any reviews to it's name, takes my 200 euro and Vinted is blaming me! Ha, you're kidding me. This was the last time I will ever buy or sell anything on this platform where scammers are being treated like kings.
My account got blocked after I tried to purchase and item and the credit card did not approve Vinted until I called them to verify it was an approved purchase. I have over 600 listings and been on Vinted for 4 years. This was my first attempt to purchase something. They have blocked due to ""suspicious financial activity." I go thru trying to verify with photos of the credit card with my name, last 4 digits on the card and the expiration date... Like they said I needed to do but I cannot submit it. There is no phone number and emailing gets me back to my account is blocked. Just nuts. All I wanted to do is spend some money. I am glad I did not have any money in my account.
I have sold a number of items on Vinted very successfully, but when I came to buy an item unfortunately the seller was dishonest and sold what I can only assume was a counterfeit as the measurements of the item were completely different vs. the manufacturers guide. Despite flagging the issue within 48hrs and sending photos with a tape measure showing the item didn't measure up I've had conflicting and generally unsupportive comms from Vinted despite paying for their 'Buyers insurance'! I can only conclude that it is a site which allows/condones scams and bad sellers. Will never use again!

I like the discounted shipping although it will end 4/30. Prices in general are good! Most of my buying experience has been good! Some sellers take a long time to reply or respond to offers or never do. I have received everything I've paid for. Now to my issues. The biggest one is that customer service is not great! No phone number-you message them. Robot replies unless you keep pushing. They won't pay for return shipping even if seller misrepresented the item! Currently I bought shorts described as very good. Paid $6 with fees/shipping. Came with 4 pulls/snags-a few big! Seller refuses to pay for return shipping and wants the item back! I am stuck paying $4.15 to send it back! Yes, they refunded my $6, however I am left out $4.15 with nothing to show for it! They need to force the seller to pay return shipping when an item is damaged. Another seller sold me a few items with stains. Vinted lets the seller pay you a partial refund via Venmo which is good. This seller said she would send me something else for free if I could fine one. Hopefully I don't have to pay shipping on that! I have sold one thing on Vinted without any problems. People will make very low offers, though; you can always decline or counter. At least as a seller you do not pay any fees.
My account was locked for no reason, stating "suspicious financial activity". I've been using the app for years, and didn't do anything differently than I ever have. They gave me a link to upload documents to regain my account, but when I tried to send it, I found that I was blocked from that as well. They also don't have any phone number or email address to contact. So now I'm out of my money with no way to get it or my account back. Absolutely despicable.
Unfortunately out of ten seller only 5 if you lucky are OK, it's worth the risk! Most clothes the arrive with strong personal perfumes unbraided in them, some with small stains that you will not be able to issue a complaint against. You can try and only if the buyer will accept you can send them back, but at a very large postage fees, the double you have paid. Vinted as a special price set up not for the buyer.

Vinted are thefts the buyer said my item did not fit her pushchair and asked to return the item, The item was a icandy footmuff brand new in packaging with the label, the buyer then said it is not original and opened a case with vinted and they asked me for proof.
I provided vinted with with my receipt from my icandy account to show it is original and when I purchased my item, vinted took no notice off my proof and refunded the buyer and said they could keep my item.

Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
