I have got evidence for my purchases, have sold over 100 items around the world. All well and good, untill a scammer comes along. The person does not have any previous purchases nor any reviews to it's name, takes my 200 euro and Vinted is blaming me! Ha, you're kidding me. This was the last time I will ever buy or sell anything on this platform where scammers are being treated like kings.
My account got blocked after I tried to purchase and item and the credit card did not approve Vinted until I called them to verify it was an approved purchase. I have over 600 listings and been on Vinted for 4 years. This was my first attempt to purchase something. They have blocked due to ""suspicious financial activity." I go thru trying to verify with photos of the credit card with my name, last 4 digits on the card and the expiration date... Like they said I needed to do but I cannot submit it. There is no phone number and emailing gets me back to my account is blocked. Just nuts. All I wanted to do is spend some money. I am glad I did not have any money in my account.
I have sold a number of items on Vinted very successfully, but when I came to buy an item unfortunately the seller was dishonest and sold what I can only assume was a counterfeit as the measurements of the item were completely different vs. the manufacturers guide. Despite flagging the issue within 48hrs and sending photos with a tape measure showing the item didn't measure up I've had conflicting and generally unsupportive comms from Vinted despite paying for their 'Buyers insurance'! I can only conclude that it is a site which allows/condones scams and bad sellers. Will never use again!
Avoid buying from this platform, I had a bad experience with them, when I bought an item the seller didn't receive the payment and vinted took the payment and lifted on pending payment since the 17th of Feb till know, they only use chat platform on them terms only.

I like the discounted shipping although it will end 4/30. Prices in general are good! Most of my buying experience has been good! Some sellers take a long time to reply or respond to offers or never do. I have received everything I've paid for. Now to my issues. The biggest one is that customer service is not great! No phone number-you message them. Robot replies unless you keep pushing. They won't pay for return shipping even if seller misrepresented the item! Currently I bought shorts described as very good. Paid $6 with fees/shipping. Came with 4 pulls/snags-a few big! Seller refuses to pay for return shipping and wants the item back! I am stuck paying $4.15 to send it back! Yes, they refunded my $6, however I am left out $4.15 with nothing to show for it! They need to force the seller to pay return shipping when an item is damaged. Another seller sold me a few items with stains. Vinted lets the seller pay you a partial refund via Venmo which is good. This seller said she would send me something else for free if I could fine one. Hopefully I don't have to pay shipping on that! I have sold one thing on Vinted without any problems. People will make very low offers, though; you can always decline or counter. At least as a seller you do not pay any fees.

They gave me a link to upload documents to regain my account, but when I tried to send it, I found that I was blocked from that as well. They also don't have any phone number or email address to contact. So now I'm out of my money with no way to get it or my account back. Absolutely despicable.
Unfortunately out of ten seller only 5 if you lucky are OK, it's worth the risk! Most clothes the arrive with strong personal perfumes unbraided in them, some with small stains that you will not be able to issue a complaint against. You can try and only if the buyer will accept you can send them back, but at a very large postage fees, the double you have paid. Vinted as a special price set up not for the buyer.

Vinted are thefts the buyer said my item did not fit her pushchair and asked to return the item, The item was a icandy footmuff brand new in packaging with the label, the buyer then said it is not original and opened a case with vinted and they asked me for proof.
I provided vinted with with my receipt from my icandy account to show it is original and when I purchased my item, vinted took no notice off my proof and refunded the buyer and said they could keep my item.
This has happened on many occasions and the customer services is absolutely disgusting they do nothing and even though the proof they still refused to give me my money or my item, how the hell are they getting away with this? There is absolutely no way you can get your money because there is no were to complain.

Extremely poor service - very difficult communication and if you want to contact the service -- it will be a miracle if you succeed - you will lose time and nerves to communicate with incompetent people. They do not read at all what you write - the answer will be in advance written templates that have nothing to do with your case... because they do not have an adequate relationship with customers, they can not prevent any fraud... well, just run away from there
Seller posts a picture of the blazer and I buy it. Everything sound good right? I pick up the parcel, open the blazer and there are ink stains all over it (which sometimes happens to this brand). Nothing was mentioned in the description. Pictures shown in the add clearly show a different blazer without the defect. And when I am talking about stains, I mean like near pockets, at the back, near seems. I feel absolutely scammed and Vinted asks me for pictures of the packages. Like shipping company opened the parcel and drew a whole bunch of lines. Then packaged it. Nightmare, stay away and honestly use Poshmark instead.
The staff has an aberrant behavior - when you post an article of a well-known company, you are treated as a possible criminal and your account is blocked due to forgery... if you do not have a receipt from the store, you can post dozens of pictures to attests to the authenticity of the product but in vain - if they have decided that it is a fake, so be it! On the whole, the site is full of fakes that can be seen with the naked eye, but their experts do not notice them... In conclusion, the staff is very poorly trained and with tyrannical tendencies - only they are right!
I was a member for over 10 years with 900 99% positive reviews and my account was constantly blocked for insane reasons. Everything for 2 years. I am immensely disappointed that my account is now permanently blocked. Again the charge that I have multiple accounts. What is wrong. Instead, scammers are encouraged and pull off the good users. No support. I have a strong feeling that Vinted himself, at least some of the employees here, have their fingers in the game

I have an account on vîntes which i can t enter anymore, after 5 emails, zending passport, invoice with home détails etc it is still not working. They don t even respons anymore to e-mails and i don t know how to contact them.
I sold a bundle of clothing and jewelry, a total of 11 items, the package starting tracking and was out for delivery but never delivered. It was considered lost so I reported it Vinted. They refunded the buyer and told me to follow up with the post office. To file a claim with the post office you need the buyers name and address, I didn't have that information. The buyer was no longer active on Vinted and Vinted customer service refused to give me that information. Vinted's terms and conditions stats "in the case of a lost package, contact us and we will compensate you up to $100". When I asked Vinted customer service why I was not being compensated they said " Please note that we are obliged to follow our process in such a situation and, as mentioned previously, are not able to offer you any compensation.

I'm shocked that they are denying to honor their own policies, not protecting their buyers and not caring that I lost 11 items all for nothing. Shame on them. It's illegal to not follow your written practices promising to protect your users. Sellers and buyers beware.
Alot of fakes especially trainers, I bought a pair of Kurt Geiger bloody awful didn't even fit, box is cheap looking not luke the original. Still loads on there have messaged customer service and nothing!

Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
