I joined vinted about 3 weeks ago and last week bought 8 items none which have arrived yet, I posted a pair of dr martens 4 days ago for the first time selling and my account was blocked permanently saying illegal activities. I have no way to contact people I bought my items from, I've emailed vinted 4 times about getting my payments back but only automated responses. I have emails saying I paid fof these items but nothing since they blocked me. I wish I had read all the negative reviews before I went on vinted because it looks like this is a regular thing and some of the reviews are terrible what's been happening. I've now said good by to 106 pound I wont see again.
Bought item, a week after dispatch courier's tracking 'froze' for ten days. I asked the seller...as Evri's customer, and the person with the receipt...for any info she may have, and received aggressive, patronising response. She then left critical feedback, sent abusive messages and reported me. I won't buy from vinted again, wish I had read reviews first.

Why pay compulsory insurance on an item that was delivered to a random warehouse by Evri and then be told its been delivered there is nothing we can do about it? I supplied images on the delivery address taken by the couriers which is clearly not my house and they have no interest whatsoever. I spent most of my time talking to a robot, only to be replaced by an even more useless human being who was full of apologies but very little else. I now have no bracelet and no refund. The fact that this company is based in Lithuania means that you don't have a leg to stand on if you want to make an official complaint.

I purchased a silver ring on Vinted an empty packet arrived. I reported this within 20 mins of receiving it so they put money on hold 2 days later released money to the seller said I had not report incident within time limit. I contacted seller and asked for half of my loss she refused and said she sent vinted a photo showing ring in pack before she posted it. I sent Vinted more messages asking for a refund and they just ignored me. This would have been the same result if item cost £200 so beware of buying from Vinted. AVOID VINTED

Fabulous even with proof of postage (you'll need to upload proof of postage when you send the item) the scammer can now claim you didn't post the item and get a refund after two weeks! Not only is your item gone, your paid extra to get rid of your item! Contact vinted? They send you robotic messages with a cs sender's name! I wrote a review on trust pilot and it got taken down by vinted manually lol -date, weight info is on proof of postage alongside receivers address, post code

My issue is still not resolved and they are holding on to my money - it has been a month! They blocked me instantly for using the word "Adidas" on the title to my ad. They are accusing me of being counterfieter and asking me to supply additional pictures of the item even though I did not use the photos on my post. They are being really unhelpful and I have £50 pending to withdraw but I can't get to it because they blocked me! It was my second posting as I am new to vinted. Never never never again will I use this site to sell my things. They are the scammers holding onto people's money without good reason. Anyone with common sense would look at the ad I was trying to post and see that it's second hand and as a new user I have simply made a mistake under their very strict rules.

I recently discovered that Vinted shared my address with someone I did not have any transactions with. Vinted spent over 6 weeks "investigating" to only say that addresses are bound to get shared in the process of shipping. They never acknowledged how this happened when I was not involved in any transactions with the other person. They repeatedly asked me to do their job by contacting the other person for them, despite me providing them with her name and Vinted id. They repeatedly asked for the same information that I had already provided. When I was dissatisfied with their final response and said I would be filing a formal complaint with ICO for how they mishandled my information, they gave me an email address to write to make that complaint with Vinted. I just wanted to make one final complaint to let them know I had informed ICO and instead they claimed I started a new investigation. They provided that email and they started a new inquiry. I feel they were rude and patronizing. I would never use platform to sell anything. It is not worth the time or money. Their customer service is hideous and they will just pass the blame. They are not a company that values your data. You will be safer and less stressed selling your items elsewhere or just donate them as Vinted is simply not worth it.
No customer service, had been using vinted regularly without issues until a buyer recieved a parcel that had clearly been run over and mishandled, items were missing from the bag. My issue was receiving the wrong item that I cannot use at all,I want to return the product but knowing that I need to pay the return cost of course I will not do that it should be at the seller's expense because none of those was my fault. I will not get any in return after spending time, money, and effort (I have to spend another extra cost for shipping!Oh gosh seriously?) I simply asked customer service to help reach out to the seller because I want my full refund and I am not responsible for the seller's mistake. I sold trainers to a Kayleigh2214 I'd avoid her and vinted like the plague.She got the trainer's which she confirmed to me and vinted cancelled it and refunded her the money.I never got a penny of the money she should of paid me and she has now blocked me.Got on to vinted they don't want to know no help at all after sending them screenshots of her saying she got it and it was posted. A scam site and a scammer. Never again was my first time to use it as well. Thier customer service is awful they don't give a damn. It should be closed down.

The buyer sent me an item which was significantly different from the description. Vinted turned a blind eye and the buyer just took the money and started harassing me! Vinted's done nothing!
Then I sold an item there, the buyer was a thief! She said the item worked perfectly but she reported to Vinted that it's broken. The buyer refused to me send me back the item but she got refunded and took my item for free! Again, Vinted's done nothing!
So fed up with them and from now on I just donate everything to charity.

The item arrived faulty and it was up to me to pay to return the item, even though the seller agree the items were stained. So you pay to have the items delivered and then if they are faulty you pay to return them! Crazy and Vinted are not helpful at all.
If you leave a negative review the seller does the same, it seems to be back to 20 years ago when on ebay sellers would leave a negative fb out of spite if they got it. When things go wrong, do not expect to find support at Vinted, you will simply not get it. They are crap at solving any issue. I believe it comes from the Estonian culture as it is reflected in the way they never take the customer's side even when it is evident, with pictures given, that they are wrong! They are slow, repetitive and totally un useful.
Imagine being bullied on the app, being called pathetic and cheap for returning a dress, reporting it to vinted and they declare that as long as another user doesn't use profanity language you should just ignore it. Oh and you can't block someone who's abusive until they get their parcel back despite it being in transition. Avoid at all costs. They will not protect you and the people are rude and trying to make this place a 1£ online shop in which they can abuse you on your own money and time.
Answer: Well you can't. You need to do your homework when asking questions to a seller. Request additional pictures too. The seller never has access to your money until you "receive" and accept the items. So if you get a designer item you have questions about take it to your nearest high-end consignment. If you find the item is not real simply let CS know under the accepting. Tell them what the problem is. More likely than not you will get a return request label. Just send it back and all your money if refunded. On Poshmark all items over $500 are automatically sent to a Posh center to be authenticated before its sent to you. The best way to know your getting the real deal is buy from again a local high-end consignment or an online that specializes in only a few brands rather than any. It takes a lot of training to become an expert on authentication.
