Vinted allow feedback that is liable defamatory untrue and damaging to sellers profile when no suspension was made no return of item no evidence and not confirming the information provided by seller.
I had a personal vinted account for just under a year, everything was going well and I had over 130 five star reviews from buyers.
Went to sign in to vinted one day to find my account was blocked, unsure what was going on I emailed the vinted customer service for more info and what would happen to my vinted balance of around £78.
The reply: email us back in a weeks time and we'll get the money realised to you bank.
It's now been 3 weeks down the line & vinted are refusing to give me MY money.
I WILL be REPORTING vinted, this will include naming & shaming everyone I have dealt with.
Please DONT use vinted, it's 100% NOT SAFE. You will LOOSE your hard earned cash.

Vinted were sent advisory legal letter which they ignored completely Now a court case will be set but as Vinted is not registered by UK Trading Standards therefore making it an unregistered business there is no guarantee they will comply with court action They clearly believe they can act outside the legal licensed trading laws BBC Watchdog are now complying a programme about Vinted after numerous complaints sent about them

I have provided them with multiple reciepts showing I am making a huge loss on unreturned and unworn clothes and they just keep responding with the same generic reply.
Not treating me as an individual but generalising. Im so beyond annoyes and disgusted. It's impossible to speak to someone properly or make a complaint!
First off, I tried selling. I sold an item and then in order to print a label, they require your ENTIRE social security number. And they don't mention that anywhere in the directions. It's apparently in some obscure location way down in the terms where no one will look. I had to cancel and was mad that I wasted time listing items. I would never have listed, had they made it clear the information they require. And then I tried buying a few times, and my purchases were either cancelled, since most people know better than to give away their entire SSN, or else I got trashed items. And then you can't return the items, unless you pay return shipping out of pocket. It doesn't matter that it's the seller's error. The buyer is the one who loses money. I left the sellers that sent me trashed items negative reviews, and then they left me negative reviews back just to be nasty. And I complained to Vinted about the sellers leaving bad reviews for revenge, even though I did nothing wrong as a customer. But Vinted didn't care and refused to remove the unfair reviews, despite them claiming they don't allow that kind of behavior in their terms. Worst resale site ever. I deleted my account and will never go near it again. Don't even waste your time with this horrible site.
I bought a pair of ECCO mens shoes from JASMINE ROBB on VINTED and they were seriously faulty. However, VINTED don't share any responsibility for their site allowing the sale of bad merchandise but they add a BUYER PROTECTION FEE? Ans I'm sorry to say JASMINE ROBB from Crawley has no morals.
Vinted is useful but use it understanding that there is little customer service when things go wrong and factor that in.
For the last few weeks they have been looking into why a buyer would buy a large bundle of clothes from me, claim not to like their courier options and want my personal details, return all the items having cut a whole in a cashmere jumper and then claim it was done by the return courier service (I think?).
Today with no notice the customer service thread was closed, the buyer fully refunded and the case closed.
Having previously measured up the cashmere jumper for another buyer and the thread of them enquiring about the item in detail it would be easy to prove the condition of the item but in fact nothing has been done.
The buyer who has been refunded fully has terrible reviews in part and I was very doubtful about them before selling to them or their request for my personal details but again Vinted customer service replied with vague guidelines which I suppose got me into this mess to start with.
Not recommended but will clear out your wardrobe.
My first item I bought never arrived nor did I get money back.
My second item I bought I was refunded a min after paying. The seller wanted only to sell to people with 5 feedbacks (but i am new to the site!...) however the seller listed the item for a bit more money afterwards.
Vinted also manages your correspondence if they don't like what you say! IF YOU BUY WITH THEM THERE IS NO BUYER PROTECTION. I think i am going to bin them and tell all my friends how crab it is. Honestly. On top they charge you as buyer: 0
This site is the biggest scam going. At some point if you are a seller and have funds waiting to be transferred to you - YOU WILL NOT GET THE MONEY YOU HAVE EARNED. Vinted will give you the run around for a while asking for bank statements, telling you to contact the bank etc but they will keep your money and there is nothing you can do about it. They also have people working in the forums pretending that they are customer or sellers saying they have been paid in order to give you hope but its all a lie. Vinted are trying to recoup the money they were fined for selling from sellers. There are hundreds of sellers who have not been paid their money many of them get blocked from the site for complaining or just give up and close their accounts. Vinted should not even be allowed to advertise they are a bunch of scammers.
DO not use them, it will just cause you a lot of problems. I bought and sold on there and I had to worry about the buyer claiming the item wasnt there as you are forced to use only the yodel service now, it didnt happen but on the buyer side of things I had a terrible experience, I recieved first the wrong item and had to pay to return it, then I recieved a disgusiting unclean and damaged item and I was told by customer service that I had to pay to return it. Their buyer protection does noting and as a buyer you end up paying while the seller gets off scott free.
I looked into this vinted concept and even registered on their site, more fool me! Vinted has to be without doubt one of crapiest web site / concepts ever. Zero out of ten in all departments

I have logged 4 help time. Which they keep on closing without resolving the issue.
But customer service keep closing the ticket stating resolved, BUT ITS NOT.

Purchased a purse from a member on Vinted and when it arrived it was damaged, (two small holes, a stain and scratches on the metal parts). The original advertisement stated that the purse was new and obviously the purse was not new as it would not have these imperfections. Regardless seller should have stated. Anyway thinking that Vinted has a money back guarantee if the item is damaged I write to them and send them pictures. Expecting the money back in my account that day I instead get an email saying that they can't help, all they can suggest is reselling the item on. By this point I am crazy mad and send them an email saying how am I supposed to sell a damaged purse on? No one is going to want to buy it? I get an email back saying they are sorry I am annoyed but the damage is not and I quote "substantial enough". I'm sorry but if the item is described as new surely any damage is damage and now new no matter how small? If you had purchased it from a shop you would be taking it straight back and demanding a full refund. Anyway they send me another email saying all they can recommend is reselling and then have the cheek to say I must list all the flaws if I intend on reselling?! Well according to you there are new flaws so **** you I most definitely wont be. Left £10 and very angry.
VINTED impose an insurance to cover the buyer but when solicited, takes ages to refund. Many fakes and counterfakes on the website. Best boycott VINTED and avoid hassle of reclaiming refund. VINTED support team not capable of verifying authentic branded good just on photo. VERY BAD EXPERIENCE. A fake LANCASTER bag, without a single logo on the bag or on the metal piece. No label or logo of Lancaster. I wrote to the Lancaster website and they confirmed that all their articles have their logo or label. I am sending the bag to the custom dept of counterfeit.

I was very cautious about buying from Vinted as I had read quite a lot of negative reviews. I think it's because people don't understand how it works. I bought a small priced item at first to test it out, and unfortunately, the seller had already sold the item. The seller to be fair, got back to me really quickly and apologised as they had listed the item on another selling marketplace and it had sold. This can happen a few times. Since then I have purchased about 8-10 items from Vinted without any issues. As with all marketplaces if you are looking for high-end designer goods you should be cautious and be able to ask the seller questions before parting with large sums of money. The onus is on us as the buyer to ask the right questions and to be able to authenticate the goods. Look at the seller ratings first and see how often they are on and the time that they take to respond. I like that about Vinted as it tells you when the Seller was last on the site and how long they take, they also tell you the date the item was available for sale. So if the date was over 3 months old then it may have sold. I have not had any experience as a seller yet, although I have listed an item for sale. So I will see how it goes.
Unfortunately, there are people who want to make other people's lives unpleasant; but I don't think it is fair to blame Vinted for that.
Overall, yes I would recommend Vinted to family and friends. I gave it 5 stars as my experience has been good.
Buyer had the brand-new coat 5 days, demanded a full refund. Vinted accepted the refund request and refunded them 3-5 days later. Buyer kept the coat and the money.
Where do I start! Have been ripped off left and right and Vinted 'protection' fee … is nothing to do with protection. I have bought bags that have fallen apart as soon as I used them. Never got money back. Have dealt with the most intellectually challenged seller recently who sent me the wrong orders and I had to pay for the return out of my own money … as it's Vinted policy. This seller would not give me anything towards paying for her mistake. Now my transaction has already been closed and they are telling me that I have to contact this seller or they will close my account. But they have prevented me from being able to contact her. As far as I am concerned, the sooner they close my account, the better my life will become. It's really no threat anymore. It shouldn't be this way. They are causing mayhem. It's just not worth it. They are not the only selling platform out there. Choose another! I feel as though I am being stolen from constantly. A class action law suit really needs to be looked at. When people are paying for 'protection' and not getting any … it means we are all being ripped off! I am a victim. We all are.
A good way to make money on items you don't want. However alot of scammers & vinted don't protect you
