Stay away from Vinted
I would highly not recommend Vinted as a trust and saved platform. They have stolen me c. £300 and they are not able to get my money back despite having done everything through the platform. Furthermore, you are required to pay a fee for protection to Vinted which it does not mean/do anything as you can see. And Vinted is getting s commission out of the sale despite been a fraud.

I have had a mostly positive experience with buying and selling, however, vinted are now withholding payment of a significant sum of money due and pending. They will only accept ID of passport or driving licence. How is this not discriminatory? I have a birth certificate, national insurance number, driving licence number (not photo). Absolutely ridiculous and something that I'm going to pursue legally if possible.
I sold an item and posted by Evri one month ago. ( Buyer chose custom postage, but I posted by trackable Evri just in case) Buyer received the item only couple days after, but not click 'received' on Vinted. The issue is sellers could lose item, money and prepaid postage fee. Customer service is honestly not very helpful, they just said their system will automatic change to deliver after a month, and asked seller to contact buyer, require buyer to mark 'received'. If buyers would do that at the first place, why bother to ask ' customer service' for help. Why would be fair to sellers to wait more than one month if there is provable evidence buyer receive the item only couple days after sending?
Sellers paid postage first, spend their time to pack the stuff well and send the item promptly, but the control is not in the seller. I realized there is a way in their system for buyers to cheat: get stuff without paying or ask for refund. Hope this review can help some sellers.
Tried to return an item but you have to jump through so many hoops.Must have taken me 30 minutes to buy postage and copy all the documents needed, then they would not upload to Vinted, so looks as though I am stuck with this item and now have to cancel and reclaim my postage cost. So much easier on eBay's return system
Used Vinted scammed twice 3 rd parcel didn't arrived tired to get my money didn't get it no one to talk to no phone number told me I received it delivery company says otherwise no photo evidence supporting them very appalling people using this are being scammed daily by these company
I sent an item through vinted Evri, it never arrived with the buyer and was returned to me, but damaged in transit. I contacted vinted but apparently I was not able to get compensation because I had received the order! Not sure what I should have done but now I have a damaged item I can't relist and vinted don't want to help. Obismol customer service. Zero stars. Do not send anything of value because if it was like my experience, you won't be compensated if things don't go to plan!
Got the Vinted app and used it for a week.
Bought a bag which was described with incorrect measurements, meaning it wasn't what I needed - so I requested a refund.
This is when it fully sank in, that buyers pay all the costs here.
Sellers list their items - often doing a pretty shoddy job of describing them. Buyers pay the Vinted commission AND return shipping - even when the seller is at fault!
Fortunately there are better choices for buyers and I will spend elsewhere in future.
Not wasting my money and time on Vinted again and I recommend you stay clear. Rubbish.
No help for sellers. We were instructed to courier with Evri for which we had tracked information and proof of delivery. Recipient has claimed that they didn't receive delivery and Vinted have cancelled the transaction without discussion or help to the seller.
It is truly scandalous.
Not only have we spent money sending and posting and bumping (promoting) the item in question and delivering as per Vinted instructions we are now out of pocket and the item is missing.

You get a robot answer most of the time. They don't read messages as they reply with a different concept they often don't reply.
There is plenty of fake brand selling on vinted, a seller can list any brand as long as they don't mention the brand name double standards...
I received a damaged jacket I asked them for a return label mor than five times. Never received then received a message saying I am not getting refund because I did not send the jacket! How can I send it without an addressed abel?

Please put a stop to offering shipping services (ie Royal Mail) that require you to print shipping labels at home. It goes against the whole sustainable ethos that you're pushing at Vinted.
People rarely own printers nowadays and I just had an awful experience at a local library and ended up resorting to Snappy Snaps where I had to pay £2.50 to print a label. After driving to the library, paying £1.50 for parking and then £2.50 for the label.
Please do better by your customers and the environment.
I cannot stress enough that this Vinted site is an absolute SCAM. People buy items from this site in the belief that they are somehow protected by the buyers guarantee or whatever rubbish they call it. Well let me tell you, you are not. We were sold some boots that were being sold as a ladies UK 4.5. When they turned up we thought it was a genuine mistake, they were nowhere near the right size, closer to a children UK1. The Vinted terms and conditions said we had to return the item and WE had to pay the shipping costs. This is against the Consumer Rights Act 2015 so why on earth would we pay for shipping when something has been sold as significantly different to as described. The Vinted site is a total rip off, seriously, just go to Ebay where you get real protection.
I seen this seller selling handmade products. I thought this is NOT allowed on Vinted. I used to sell handmade products too and they blocked my account straight away. Some sellers selling HANDMADE products already got more than 100 reviews which means they've been on vinted for awhile now. How did this happen. There are a lot of them in the site but not been blocked at all. It says there's 1.8M handmade products on this site. How can my account be blocked and others are not? Please give me a clear explanation because it doesn't look fair.
Blocked my IP for what? Only because I had losted 3-4 items with tags. Now I cant open any vinted accounts to this. Never again not even with another email. So I sold a lot and I dont understand How the UK accept this vinted Advertisment everywhere. Most people got scammed and blocked from vinted.
I give one star to Vinted because it's getting worse every time. Unjustly, they are hiding or deleting items that do not violate their policies at all. I have carefully reviewed the rules, and I have never uploaded anything that goes against their rules. I have uploaded items for decoration, accessories, and clothing, and for no apparent reason, they remove them. The truth is that the experience is becoming quite frustrating. All they are achieving is making users lose interest in using the platform and seek other options to sell our items
Buyers protection which must be paid by buyer compulsory. Is a complete joke, means nothing. But then again so is customer care, customer care my. There's no such thing on Vinted concerning customer care. If you get sent wrong item, get ripped off by seller, don't get the item or actually any other complaint, do not ever ever! Expect it to be resolved it never will be. So bye bye money, bye bye item bye bye buyer. A complete and utter $#*! show, should be shut down by tradings standards.

Delivery carrier shows parcel received at buyers address, with a picture of the parcel in an open doorway ie being taken at the delivery address. Clear case of returns fraud. No response from Vinted, left with no item and no sale monies
Recently purchased a product that was never delivered. Vinteds automated systems, dysfunctional, advising that product had been delivered and was complete. Not the case, I advised vinted of problems and that item was not received. They kept ignoring my requests to investigate further, only advising as 2 days had lapsed, they could not refund monies. I was previously very happy with vinted however this response and lack of good customer service has now meant, I'm out and off vinted. Their customer service responses appear to be automated with no human response. Be aware, very aware, before opening an account.
The customer service is so poor and on two occasions I have needed to contact Vinted, on both occasions they have been unhelpful despite the issues being Vinted and yodel problems.
Avoid if you want to be out of pocket!
I am a seller on vinted. I sold 3 items. One item at a reduced rate. The buyer apparently pre paid for Hermes labels but on messaging her, she did not. So I paid for postage and posted the items. I have yet to receive payment for the 3 items or postage costs. I have been speaking with Eve and with singrida and now Tina from vinted and not one of them has processed this payment. So now I am out of pocket for over £40 And the buyer has got away with theft. I would not recommended vinted to anyone. I am 20 weeks pregnant, have a 2 year old son who is learning to cope with his father's deployment and have had additional stress and costs to deal with. It has made me quite sick but still vinted staff and buyers don't care.
Buyer ruined expensive coat now vinted are forcing me to refund.Ive got photographic evidence of how it left me and proof that even the seller had no problem, they just decided it wasn't warm enough please do not use it to sell anything worth more than a fiver, £160 worth of cost ( which I sold for £30) ruined and now unsellable!
