The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

Don't use viagogo.com. The are scamming the people.
They sell ticket on extremely high price and don't deliver only very lately if they deliver it at all.
Well, we're dealing with scalpers and parasitic opportunists. If they have your credit information... I've just changed mine. We learn, try to limit the burn. Avoid these jackasses in the U. K., US, everywhere. Spread the word.
Don't use this firm CON ARTISTS. I used them to purchase prom tickets at the Albert hall it was only when well into the process I realised what con outfit they are. I stopped and searched around again and found the same tickets available in abundance direct from Albert hall viagogo were charging £50 plus a non disclosed fee, they cost me £20 each sooner con firms like this are forced to stop trading and prosecuted the better
16 year old daughter bought 4 tickets for Ed Sheeran not realising a) secondary sellers b) invalid tickets c) price per ticket d) extortionate fees. She unwittingly paid over £1100 wiping out her college savings. Now being ignored by customer service robots.
Do NOT use this website.
Knowingly selling invalid tickets must be fraud?!
I bought Main Floor, Row 30 tickets to a Bruno Mars concert for $650. They never came. I called customer service and they said they sent me an email a month ago and also called my cell to let me know "the venue could not provide them with the tickets". First of all, how can they sell tickets they never really had? They offered me a crappy replacement ticket in the nosebleed section and a $100 voucher - REALLY? Sounds like a bait & switch technique to me. Also, I never received an email or voicemail. I checked my Spam and Junk folders and had no such email. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt (slight as it may be) that it got lost in the cloud. But there is NO WAY they called my cell phone. I answer it whenever I'm not in a meeting and religiously return calls. Very unethical company!
Why will Viagogo not issue an invoice for a transaction? Is it not against the local laws, where they operate?
U2 last night was a nightmare. There were people crying and being turned away and all had used Viagogo. I had bought a ticket which was one of 4 originally purchased. I was told I had to wait for the other 3 people to show up (there were 20 gates and I have no clue who the other 3 people were). They said if they scanned my ticket the other 3 tickets would be invalid and then those people wouldn't be allowed in. After 2 hours and 6 different gates the trouble-box office relented and let us in but gave us a stern warning not to use these guys. I've learned my lesson.
They charge exorbitant booking fee that you can only see after clicking "confirm" to buy the tickets. And they will not allow any refund. I paid a whopping $80+ booking fee per ticket. It is ridiculous. Pls avoid at all cost unless u enjoy giving your money to cheaters.
Didn't inform me the show was canceled, then didn't refund me. Was seeing a show in baltimore, bought and downloaded the tickets a few hours before, but they didn't tell me that the show had been canceled 2 days earlier
I am from California, was going to Europe this summer 2017 and wanted to attend two concerts. The site does pressure you into buying tickets and there were added fees but they weren't even bad, not to mention I was willing to pay the price for these tickets so the money wasn't an issue for me. I also knew the price with the add on fees before I purchased them so I am not sure what happened to other people. I started reading reviews which scared the daylights out of me. I thought for sure I wasn't going to get into these concerts because the tickets would be fake. For the Foo Fighters concert, I received E-tickets through my email and was able to print them out three days after i purchased them. The tickets for BST festival in London was a little different. I wasn't able to print until three days before the event which made me even more nervous. Long story short, I went to both concerts, no questions asked and had the time of my life! So, this review is for people who don't mind paying the extra charges and want to know if people are actually able to get into the events. I good experience through this company. Not just for one concert but for two that were in two different countries.
They will be showed as official - and possible the only one - ticket company. They show, that there are 2-3 tickets only more free. They make a real show, after that You are happy, to be able to buy a ticket yet for 500% of the normal price. (In my case a 5 ticket for 65!)
After submitting Your creditcard details, You can calculate with 50% cost above the whole costs showed before. But You have no more possibility to rollback the transaction.
You don't get any tickets. If You get, it's not sure, even it's a fake!
In March my husband bought two tickets from Viagogo for our son and his girlfriend to a show by a band called The Birthday Massacre, scheduled for the end of May at a small Seattle venue. The ticket price was already high, and when he clicked on "Buy" the final price popped up, showing a $40 handling fee for each ticket. It was too late to cancel, and anyway my son and his girlfriend really wanted to see the show. About 3 days before the event my husband got an email saying, "We haven't been able to acquire the tickets you bought, but don't worry, you can have equivalent tickets." To what? Apparently not to the same event, because no tickets were forthcoming. My husband demanded his money back, and Viagogo did refund the full amount, including the booking fee, about three days later. So we didn't lose any money, but our son was disappointed because he thought he had tickets to the concert, when in fact Viagogo just sat on our money for almost 3 months and then gave it back. This is not a ticket-sellerits a check-kiting operation.
Inflated fees, no email links to confirm purchase or resale and NO CUSTOMER FEEDBACK. There is no contact or email to take your issues up with them.
How convenient!
Your money goes into vortex - with no guarantees you will get a refund or even a ticket. THIS SITE should be taken down.
It will destroy any joy you have of attending your event with confidence and no support if their are any technicalities.
I'm just startng to realise what a Scam this company is! In the middle of a purchase and sales transaction - because of their inflated prices! But its so obvious they are FAKE! I will screw you guys..
It's not very often I write to complain, but on this occasion I feel compelled. My story starts in January 2017 when I purchased tickets to see U2 in Rome (I live in the UK). I went online to Purchase the tickets, which I did, got the email conformation with seat numbers etc, to say congratulations you are on the way to Rome to see them.
On the basis of this I booked flights, hotels and was told the tickets will be shipped prior to the event not later than three days before the event. As I thought this was a reputable company I waited and waited for the tickets.
I was then told to give the address of the hotel in Rome, for them to be shipped there before the event. Even then I thought no problems, so I go to Rome and guess what, I had a email to say the tickets are not available and the money will be refunded. After spending the best part of £1500 to get to Rome and to be told I had not got any tickets was absolutely disgusting. I will be getting in touch with the relavant authorities to find out how a organisation like this can treat people like this.
JUST KEEP AWAY FROM THESE COWBOYS!
Can't stress enough that I would not use this service. My friend and I purchased tickets to the baseball in Tokyo with them. They 100% guarantee their service and yet we were not allowed to amend the delivery address as promised, within 24 hours of buying them! We contacted them numerous times to find a solution to no avail. We were left out of pocket $110 AUD each and missed out on an experience we were really look forward to on our holiday. Will not be using them again nor recommending them to anyone. Wouldn't wish them and their terrible customer service on my worst enemy to be honest.
I bought tickets for triple price plus taxes and they sent me concession tickets for children!
They said they can't refund money even 2 months before the event.
Big mistake
Purchased tickets early October for the Sunday of the open golf championship. Just printed off the tickets to find they were for the practice round the Sunday before the final. We paid £106.00 for three tickets that had a face value of £10 each, a total rip off. We will never use this company again, will also advise everyone we know not to go near their site.
Traveled hours to attend G Dragon in California, US and told tickets were fake. Don't use! I'm sure I will not be able to get money back but I will try and update if necessary but I highly doubt it. When I go to contact them I keep getting message about not having the right password and other excuses.
Stupidly didn't buy my test match tickets when they were available from Trent Bridge. Used these cowboys and they charged me £397 for 2 £70 tickets. Can understand paying over the odds when tickets are scarce but in my ignorance I didn't realise the price until my tickets arrived. PLEASE don't use them.
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
