The company's reputation is significantly marred by a consistent pattern of customer dissatisfaction, primarily due to issues related to ticket availability, inflated pricing, and inadequate customer service. Customers frequently report receiving invalid tickets, last-minute notifications, and a lack of effective support when seeking refunds or resolution. While some users may have had positive experiences, these are overshadowed by widespread claims of fraud and poor service. The overall sentiment reflects a strong caution against using the platform, highlighting a pressing need for improved transparency and customer support to rebuild trust.

I bought a 700-pound London bts concert ticket in October
I paid 700 pounds incloude vat £ 130, express delivery fee £ 10
But it is not arrived.
I am waiting for a week.
I paid the Express price. Why is it late?
They do not have a ticket.
As the title says, this is not a place to do business. It is a money grab scam pure and simple. They accept your money, go silent. I was told 2 days before an event that I had purchased tickets for 6 months prior that I would have to meet one of their "sellers" to pick them up because the tickets had been released late. I was not given any information other than I would be meeting a random person in Tennessee with something I paid quite a lot of money for. After multiple calls to customer service where I was met with promises that everything was fine and that this happens all the time, I reached the end of my patience that this was anything but a criminal enterprise, and called to cancel. Midway through the conversation and in the thick of talking about refund options, I was disconnected. After 20 minutes more on hold, I was told that a power surge had happened in the office and that everything briefly turned off, and that it never happens! Knowing this was more than likely a load of crap, I asked to speak to someone that could ensure my entire transaction was cancelled. I was told that I cannot get that number, but that my number (which when read back was incorrect, and when I did correct it they said yes thats what we have, which they clearly did not) would be passed to their seller so that we can coordinate, which I told them I had no intention to do. I was then told that I would have my info forwarded, and that they would contact me. Im not holding my breath for any contact, and at this point need to just accept that I have lost a large amount of money on my vacation for the year. This company is the equivalent of the scalper that sells you tickets to yesterdays game. Stay away, stay away, stay away. This place is the definition of Scam.
Worst experience. Ill never use it again. I tried buying 3 tickets to a concert 15 times in a row and it worled up to a certain point, then it crashed and I had to start all over again. Also, the tickets original price was 340 and as time went by, it raised to 570 + TVA and some additional fees that were close to 200. What the f*ck?
I Brought 2 tickets which will be invalid for Ed Sheeran, my partners tablet went wrong when trying to contact them, and it ended with the tickets being put back up for sale. Which we did not want to do. As do not want people buying invalid tickets, they have told us the tickets have sold and because we said no we dont want to sell them now theyve told us we will be charged to buy the purchasers more tickets!
THESE GUYS ARE LYING CRIMINALS AND SHOULD BE IN JAIL. DON'T GO ANYWHERE NEAR THEM. CONTINUED TO PROPAGATE LIES ABOUT MY TICKETS BEING VAILD IN SPITE OF OVERWHELMING EVIDENCE THAT THEY WERE NOT.
I brought two tickets from viagogo priced at £220 each, around £440 total.
We got billed over £3000
Be aware, stay clear of these scam artists.
I ordered two tickets online from what I thought was the box office at the Royal Albert Hall totalling £130. I printed the tickets which read at a face value of £65 each. Three days before the event I received an email charging my debit card a total of £433.93.
I phoned the Albert Hall who said viagogo are not the Royal Albert Hall box office and suggested I order two more tickets@ £65 each, to be collected on the night of the concert. The box office asked me to speak to the manager when I came to collect my new tickets. I contacted viagogo to complain and cancel the transaction. I then blocked my debit card and kept the possibly fake tickets too, and took them to the Royal Albert Hall as evidence. Box office on the night was not very helpful, and would not supply me with a supporting letter re what happened. Not impressed by box office either.
Robbing gits- a complete scam. Tickets were very expensive (£478) and refused at the gig. I bought as a gift and absolutely gutted. How do they get away with it? Very clever website that looks very original. Anyone know of any means of getting the cash back?
SCAM SCAM SCAM! Avoid at all costs. I got charged £455.00 for tickets that were worth £110.00. The whole website is built up in a way to confuse you and quickly buy the tickets as otherwise all tickets will be sold out. I asked for refund but was refused. Please do not buy from this website and buy from the venue instead.
I still haven't received a response to my complaint but yesterday was sent an automated email inviting me to again escalate my escalated complaint. I thought it was worth a try, so I went to escalate but guess what I can't. It's not possible to escalate an escalated escalation, so why tantalise me?
On a positive note I received another automated email today with a "Thank you for selling tickets on viagogo!" and which was signed off with a "Thank you for using viagogo!" which informed me that I should get paid 5 to 8 business days after the event takes place. Crossing my fingers!
I bought some tickets from Viagogo at an event at the Albert Hall before realising they were standing only tickets. So, (I was supposed to be going with someone who has a bad back who can't stand for long periods of time) I decided to sell them (losing £70). I was then told I had to wait for 3 months for my money back as they won't give me the money back until 8 business days after the event has passed to ensure "the buyer could successfully gain entry to the event using those tickets". Hang on a minute, these are the tickets I bought from you and never actually received? If they're fake surely that's not my problem? I've lost £70 (between the purchase and sale for what I think were poorly advertised seats (which were actually 'stands')) and have to wait 3 months for the £270? Why? So I complain. I receive no response after a month and am invited to escalate by an automated system. I escalate and a month later, guess what, I hear nothing and can escalate again... So I phone up. The automated phone service asks for my ticket number so I can be put through to customer service, I punch the number in and am then told by the automated service that they can't help and I am to go to their website - why, so I can escalate an escalated escalation? I cannot believe this is legal.
Their customer complaints resolver service is linked to Money Saving Expert - I'm surprised Martin Lewis would want to be connected with such a shoddy "service". So I'm still waiting for my money and hopefully - if I wasn't sold scam tickets by Viagogo - I should receive the money in mid June having sold them 12 March. Total scam.
This website is a scam. The service charge was more than a third the cost of the ticket - and the ticket price was also inflated! A friend got the same exact (general admission) concert tickets for $85 - I paid over $200. When I inquired, they claim that various sellers of tickets charge whatever they want over their site, so there is no oversight or concern for people purchasing tickets. The also falsely bait you by saying there are only a few tickets left!
This is basically a ticket scalping website. Wise advice would be to stay away from this organization! You're literally better off showing up at the venue on the night of the show and buying them from a street scalper. Unethical, untrustworthy organization - and after reading some of these other reviews, it was my bad to buy tickets through them. I will NEVER make that mistake again.
I purchased 2 tickets for the theatre and paid £152.88, thinking the high price was due to excellent seats. However received the tickets 4 days before show and noted that the street value of each ticket was £15 each. I was NOT informed when purchasing the tickets that I was paying 4 times more than original value. And it worked out that the seats were not that great. Absolutely disgusted and feel I have been scammed WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN
I had a very bad experience with ordering tickets from Viagogo and would recommend avoiding this company when purchasing tickets to events. Not only were the tickets overpriced, but Viagogo made promises that werent kept.
I was in Buenos Aires for a week and purchased tickets to a fútbol event during that time. Unfortunately the weather was so bad the game was postponed. I was not able to make it to the rescheduled event because I was gone before that day. I contacted viagogo to help me with a refund or information on how to solve the issue, and over the phone I was told I would be able to get a refund if I kept the tickets safe and could send them in the mail to an address they would provide. I was quite happy with this response to find out later it was not true. When the new date was announced I asked how to go about the refund I was promised and Viagogos representatives completely dismissed it saying they do not provide refunds to postponed events. I understand the policy, but to tell me over the phone I would be reimbursed for very expensive tickets and not grant it is extremely unprofessional.
I had also met a local in Buenos Aires and told her about the game, the tickets, and everything that was going on. She informed me that the tickets I had purchased from Viagogo were ridiculously over priced. I paid $150 American for two tickets to the Racing Club vs Arsenal fútbol event in a cheap seating area, when in reality the most anyone should pay for the same seats is about $40 American.
I want to share this experience with you and warn people about purchasing tickets through this website and company. They arent professional and you can definitely go about getting event tickets in other ways.
Bought Frightened Rabbit tickets for June 1 in Glasgow and the lead singer died right after I bought the tickets. Viagogo won't refund the ticket price, instead advises me to RESELL THE TICKETS. For a show that has lost the lead singer.
What a piece of S**t company.
The security officers at the Eurovision event stated the expensive front section tickets were fake. They took copies for forwarding to the local police. All the other many people refused entry also had Viagogo tickets.
This company has mislead tricked and deceived many. Join the facebook group VICTIMS OF VIAGOGO to get support from over 5k unhappy customers.
At no point in time on their website do they mention the face value of the ticket, they ad hidden fees, AND the claim guarantee on delivery (which you only find out via email receipt once PAID) is 3 days before event!
What company that runs a ticket
Be very wary of this website. I would not trust Viagogo and will never purchase tickets though them again. I bought two tickets to the Ben Harper show in Madrid. The face value of the tickets should have been 35euros. When the final transaction went through I was charged 169 euros. They claim that these are fees which are clearly stipulated with purchase which is not true at all. There is absolutely no way to get a hold of them as their website runs you around to frequently asked questions and always states no refunds given. This is obviously something they are aware of as they are clearly ripping people off. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!
I purchased tickets which I was led to believe would be Category 3 tickets, but ended up being Category 5 tickets. I ended up paying double face value for tickets I didn't want. Company refused to amend the error or refund my tickets. Terrible customer service and a total sham of a company.
Complete bunch of crooks, sold me children's tickets, but didn't advise me of this until I had paid. Face value for three tickets, total £45.00. Paid over £200.00 for tickets I cannot use. DO NOT USE THIS SITE on ANY ACCOUNT. Its a complete rip off.
Led to believe I was paying one price, click submit payment and have an extra $60 added to the bill. Took funds from my debit card instantly. No contact information should tell you something. I fell victim to this scam as many others. Try the site of the event you want to attend... it will always lead you to the official ticket purchase site. NO REFUNDS, NO CANCELLATION, NO CONTACT INFO!
Answer: My tickets were real but I was scared the person whose name was on the ticket would turn up with id. A R600 ticket the price on the ticket which we were not told ended up being twice that. Would I use them again? NO
Answer: So frustrated surely there must be something we can do, surely this is not legal?
Answer: For is it was a total con. They showed prices in HK dollars and then charged in US dollars. We paid $4000 US dollars for two Madonna tickets. There's literally no phone number on their site and it's impossible to get in touch with customer service. Don't buy tickets here. You'll be sorry. They even charged us $500 for a service fee. Really insane!
Answer: Hi Bryan! Viagogo is a ticket marketplace that allows individuals to buy and sell tickets for live events. Once you purchase with viagogo you are covered by our guarantee: http://www.viagogo.co.uk/landingpage/1044610 Kind regards, Ana
Answer: No they don't. I will never ever make any purchase frm viagogo and I will warn you not to. They deducted my money from my back without my acknowledgement in Dec and guess what, I received the same email frm them that they will be deducting the amount from my bank again due to me not able to produce the ticket. My reason is that event organiser close down my seating section. Ended up have to go thru my bank to get the money back from them. They are the worst.
Answer: If in doubt, always try and pay by credit card so have a certain amount of protection/insurance. There's a lot of fraudulent ticket sales going on all over at the moment, so do your homework, read reviews and always use a secure method of payment if you decide to proceed.
