This company is an overcharging scam of a company. I ordered some Hockey equipment who wouldnt post to my country. I noted on the Viadress website that they charge $55.00 per 5 pounds to post to here. I had the items delivered to them at a total weight of just under 10lbs. Rather that being $110.00 to post to me, they are trying to charge me $285? No idea why as they dont responsed to my emails. BE carfull of these expensive rip off merchants, use a more creditable company. Even if the more well renowned company seems more expensive at first, by the time Viadress have added on there random charges, they wont be. You have been warned.
I've been shopping and shipping purchases from the United States to Australia for the past several years and the problem that I've always encountered with most parcel forwarding services like Myus & Shipto were the exuberant number fees that they charge for their services.
It wasn't until someone recommended Viabox in a forum that I found out about their service and I must admit that It was a breath of fresh air from other package forwarding services.
Customers pay for just the shipping fees to forward from Viabox to their home countries, and nothing else. They're are no registration fees, no subscription fees, no consolidation fees, no repackaging fees, no storage fees and none of those additional non-sense hidden fees that other companies force to pay before forwarding your purchases to you.
The overall delivery times and performance is good. Answered my requests with courtesy and gave me updates on the shipping process. I would recommend this service.
After joining (July 2017), I shipped multiple items to my Suite. You have to manually enter the item description and the value once it arrives. Two items could not be shipped to the UAE. I wished to return them to the seller. I was asked for a copy of my passport, 2nd ID and a notarized form to be completed. I then said I want them sent to UK and was told the same. Then I was told that UPS could pick them up. Then I was told they couldn't. Eventually after many, many emails I got them sent back to the seller. Almost anything you want done has to be done through "chat" or email. The cost of the items I did sent to the UAE was more expensive than MyUS.com for the same service (Fedex). I have now closed my account (had to be done via email Sept 25,2017. Join at your own risk. I have now gone back to MyUS.com
My first time using this company will also be my last. I was never contacted after I mailed them all the forms so I didn't even know if the system was set up. Anyway, to make a long story short, a 10 pound shipment that I paid $15 to ship there magically turned into a 15 pound shipment, and their lowest shipping price was $93.00 US dollars for 2 to 4 day shipping! And when I paid for that the estimated delivery date came back as 15 days
Later! What a rip-off and what a waste of time this has been! Furthermore, it took them 5 days to re-ship the package by 2 to 4 day shipping! So why pay for express shipping when it takes them 5 days just to put it in the mail, and then it takes another 2 weeks to get the package?! LAST OF ALL, THEY OBVIOUSLY POST MANY FAKE 5 STAR REVIEWS TO COMPENSATE FOR THE MANY REAL 1 STAR REVIEWS! So the next review after this will be 5 stars again and saying the same wonderful things. Or maybe they'll go 4 stars because they know we're on to them. Bye bye ViaBox!
SCAMMERS ARE OBVIOUS SCAMMERS
GOT MY AMAZON TABLET DELIVERED TO THEM SO THAT I CAN GET IT HERE IN INDIA.
The package delivered and they were like 80$ for shipping.
Then i asked them to use USPS they said okay and said they'll ship it for 76$.
The weight of that package was 2 lbs and was just a small box.
I calculated the shipping fees on USPS and it was only 35$
After some time 2 and a half months I recalled that they'll dispose off my item after 3 months.
So I contacted them to get the Tablet shipped via USPS and they asked only for 40$ ( fair enough)
After that i asked them their PP info so I can pay but thee was no reply from them.
The only shipping method i had on my account was FEDEX which was too damn expensive.
I emailed them like 5 times but they disposed off / auctioned my tablet.
After that they were like "Sorry, We've already sold that tablet as you didn't ship it within 3 months"
SCAMMERS THEY ARE
I JUST LOST 200$ + tax.
I AM NOT GONNA USE THEM AGAIN
DONT USE THIS
The delivery of my parcels was a bit late due to Eurozone traffic but customer support team were very helpful.
Parcels arrived in great condition. Professional and safe packaging.
Everything arrived as expected, despite a delay during the transportation. To be fair, the delivery delay was caused by the shipping carrier. Viabox could not do anything about it.
Viaddress is a scam. I've shipped an item to my virtual address, but even if it has been delivered they never signet as arrived.
Well, anyway, forwaded to me the other goods while awaiting to solve this mistake with their helpdesk. When it arrived to me, there were nothing...
It was supposed to have 3 iPhone 4s and 2 zippo. Nothing.
I've lost 1300usd in good and 80usd to forwading an empty box
Viabox is scam. Package has gone missing while being returned to the shipper.
SENT EMPTY PACKAGE CONTENT PROHIBITED DECLARING THAT ARE RETURNED TO HIS OFFICE AND PROCEED TO COLLECT ON THE OTHER DELIVERY OR STAY WITH MERCHANDISE
I have been a happy customer of Viaddress for a number of years. As I live outside the USA, and Amazon will ship less and less items to addresses outside the US, I rely on a service like Viaddress to get my stuff.
As mentioned, I was a happy customer because I never had any problems. However, all this changed with a vengeance last year. I placed an order beginning of December 2012. When I had not received my goods by January, I checked online and saw that the goods had been shipped back from Singapore to Viaddress, something Viaddress failed to let me know. Strike 1!
I contacted Viaddress and they told m they had to wait for an explanation from Fedex, an explanation that supposedly they had not gotten three months later. Strike 2!
I started to get very upset as I had not only lost goods to the tune of USD 2,000.00 but also shipping expenses of an additional USD 1,800.00. After repeatedly demanding some accounting for the whereabouts of these considerable expenses, Viaddress has stopped answering since the 5th of March. Strike 3!
In conclusion: stay away from this company. They are OK as long as nothing happens, but if anything goes wrong, customer support is non-existent and they will quite happily keep your money. I consider that theft but, living in Cambodia, my legal options are somewhat limited (and Viaddress is certainly aware of that). If anyone has suggestions who to contact in the USA to pursue legal actions, I would appreciate it.
On my last shipment, VIABOX overcharged for shipping (13 lbs). Actual shipping weight was 6 lbs. Be aware.
I bought some gadgets on Black Friday from a couple of US web shops & I had Viabox forward then everything to me.
Few days later, all my boxes showed up safely at my house.
From the beginning, Viabox kept me informed by email notifications of all what was happening with my packages, until my packages arrived to my house in Montserrat.
I needed to buy a pair of shoes that were only available on Ebay USA
Unfortunately that Ebay seller doesn't shipt outside the unites states
After a quick web search, I came across Viabox and it was just what I was looking for
I used Viabox to ship my purchases from a couple of US shops to Australia.
Reasonable shipping prices! Fast and efficient! EXCELLENT experience! Thank You Viabox!
This is the WORST forwarding service out there.
I had a couple of packages delivered to them. They forwarded only 1, made me pay shipping AND customs for both, and conveniently 'forgot' to inform me that only a part of my items were shipped.
Note that I have STILL NOT received the rest of my items, as of today.
Next, they inform me that they have conveniently 'disposed' of my items which were at a different address of theirs. Nonsense!
Are they trying to tell me that they do not owe their customers ONE email, before they decide to 'dispose' items? Beyond ridiculous!
Do NOT fall into their trap of free registration/ consolidation and all that crap. This company is PATHETIC.
And I also noticed that a lot of reviews here have been labeled as 'breach of contract' by Viabox. Im pretty sure those were negative reviews against them. Way to go, Viabox!
I started using ShopandShip.com shortly after I had registered with Viabox, and Im so much more satisfied. Fast, professional, efficient and hassle-free. And on registration they provide an adress in 15 countries, no less!
They do charge a registration fee, but do look out for promotional offers, where they slash fees to almost nothing. Thats how I registered, during one of their promotions.
All in all, this Viabox company is HORRIBLE! Do NOT waste your money on them!
This company offers the best package forwarding service from the United States. The shipping rates are the lowest and they don't charge for any other fees.
I just received my package from Viabox shipped by Fedex. Packaging was very safe and secure. I just wish the Fedex called me to schedule the delivery ahead of time.
I signed up with mail forwarding service Viabox (an Aramex subsidiary) a while ago and also filled out a form to receive mail via USPS. My banks and card companies send mail to me via USPS. Never did I have any problem with any other mail forwarding service with that.
However, in teh last few months Viabox lost several of my credit and debit cards mailed to me. Each time I complained they could not explain what was happening.
Today I gt to write with a Viabox (Aramex) rep (they have no phone) and she tells me that actually Viabox 9Aramex) does not accept mails with credit/debit cards, bank statements or the like from any financial institution. She says it like it is a rule and it is not mentioned anywhere on their site nor in their past emails.
She says that it is to protect me from identity theft and says that their warehouse probably refused my financial mail and it will be sent back to sender.
Well, first of all non of my financial institutions ever got anything sent back.
Secondly, their excuse that it is to protect me begs the question then if they have at all vetted their staff. It sounds like they do not trust their own staff.
Thirdly, if the cards never got sent back then someone working at Viabox (Aramex) likely pocketed them.
Answer: Don't use them. Try myus.com instead. The calculator is fake they will add 3 times or more the charge and call it dimensional weight - that is if they decide to ship to you at all! Don't fall in their trap! At least they was my experience.
Answer: No way to contact them for refund, the answer machine asked me to visit website and their website is down
