Getting the correct swimsuit has been a huge hassle with this company. They offer swimsuits sized to match your bra instead the standard S/M/L sizes which I thought was great! I went ahead and ordered a 32DDD top since that's my bra size. What I received was a monster bra. Seriously, their sizing is totally bogus. Whoever sized these swimsuits has no idea how bras work. Like they saw "DDD" and thought "let's make it huge, DDD means huge right?!" I attached a photo for reference of my black 32DDD bra against the 32DDD swim top they sent me. Seriously? That is not even REMOTELY the same size. So I filled out the form to exchange the item. You have to pay to ship the item back to them, which is pretty bogus in my opinion. Your swim sizing is totally wrong and I'm supposed to pay to ship it back when it doesn't even remotely fit right? Yeah... cool. Listen, when your sizing is this bad, you need to reimburse customers for the return shipping. There is no way anyone can order a swimsuit off this website and get the correct size on the first try...

So I filled out the form and tried to exchange the 32DDD for a 32DD. I got my package today and opened it up to find... a 32DDD. So to top it all off they managed to also mess up my exchange and send me the exact item I was trying to return. So I talked to customer service and HOPEFULLY they are sending out the 32DD this time. However their sizing chart is so messed up, I'm not even sure the 32DD will fit right! I will update with how the 32DD fits!

Worst service ever!

I am an online shopper for years, but Venus is the WORST online website i have ever got!
They charge your money immediately and then say that the order cannot be placed, and then it take more then 7 days for refund!
TAKING THE MONEY COUNTS MINUTES, BUT FOR MY OWN REFUND I NEED TO BEG THEM! AND THEY CANNOT EVEN TELL THE REASON WHY THE ORDER IS BEING CANCELLED AGAIN AND AGAIN!

We do want to advise that when an order is placed, we do not receive the funds for the order until the order ships. However, the pending authorization will show in your bank account immediately. They charged me an extra $5 fee to return the clothes that didn't fit. They said they were not crediting me a "promotional shipping charge," whatever that means. Scam!

I must start off with the clothes are absolutely beautiful and somewhat pricey depending what you buy. The shipping was reliable also... I have around 500 to 600 dollars worth of clothing out. My first package was to arrive dec17th. And I wished I had called about earlier. So then I decided I would order another package of clothes thinking maybe my online order just never went through earlier. Well... it did. It has around 250 or 350 dollars worth of clothing. Second order 200 dollars. To be fair my second order should arrive as normal. I've just lost confidence with the shipping. And I won't order agin. I just won't. It's up to other women to make up their minds if they still love Venus. I'm just saying the company does not give a crap about my order or how much money I'm out. I'm just sick over it. Oh and yes they have forgot to fill the order completely in the past but always managed to fix the problem. I think I will just stick to local stores and stay away from large manufactures because they don't care. They just don't care that some woman is out a lot of money. Again to be fair the first package is my worry and the second I'm not confident in receiving. Dang it. Larger companies will not have the best service at issues like this. They aren't prepared for large volumes of problems. So I've learned my lesson. Hsn has it together they are huge retail service and much more reasonable and you would think so with Venus. Not true. Never again. And I'm sorry to say it's not great. And not my fault.

Cheaply made

What you see is not what you get. I just received my order on which I spent over 300$ on and everything is cut very oddly. It all fits but just looks odd. I won't be ordering again.

Low Quality Clothes

I like the style of Venus clothing however everything I ordered has been low quality. The fabric is cheap and the fit never is right. I gave them a few chances and will no longer order from them.

Rip off

Even less than 1 star

There is a reason why Venus's 1-star reviews greatly outnumber any other reviews. They are absolutely HORRIBLE! I will never order from them again. I ordered 3 items which were available at the time of purchase. Apparently my credit card was declined for some reason by Venus but I had used the same card elsewhere. It is not my credit card that was the issue. It was Venus. They sent me 1 email that the CC was declined, but another email a few minutes later that it was processed. When I called to inquire a couple of days later, they seemed so confused so I gave them another credit card and it processed. I finally received my order but received only 1 out of the 3 items ordered. I called, they transferred me to some other department (apparently 'order status' was not the correct selection to inquire?), and my call got dropped. I started an online chat with rep Rachelle Baxter, she never responded on the chat and kept typing 'Are you there?' No response. I started a new chat who a more adept rep. However, she indicated that there was only 1 item that was ordered even though I had email proof and a printout that I had ordered 3 items. Customer service deserves ZERO stars. Service deserves ZERO stars. Do yourself a favor and buy from somewhere else. I know their products look beautiful and unique, but it'll so you a lot of pain and heartbreak if you buy elsewhere.

I actually love Venus. I've been shopping here for many years and I'm almost always satisfied. As for exchanging an item, all you have to do is let them know that you will be exchanging the item, give them the order number you're exchanging and they will charge you for the new item minus the shipping. Once your return item reaches them, they will issue a refund. You will have to pay to return the item either own your own or with the return label provided but you will not have to pay shipping for the exchanged item. You can even add more items to your exchange transaction and no shipping fee will be added for those items. They will also honour any coupons you used in the original order and apply it to the exchanged item. Venus is my go to for fabulous dresses, jumpsuits, jeans, sweaters, (tops and swimsuits (occasionally), and coats. Venus always comes thru when I need a vacation wardrobe and every year, my suitcase has nearly all selections from Venus. However, I do not shop there for shoes. I prefer genuine leather when purchasing footwear.

I bot a bathing suit on May 5 thinking it would be here in 14 to 21 days but the reality is they will not allow you to pay the duty and taxes for 21 business days which is a full month. They cannot track thier items and they are rude when you inquire. I asked where it states on the website that they will not allow you to pay the duty and taxes for 21 business days, talking monday to friday, and I was told it doesn't. I advised I could not pay the duty and taxes and was told that you can't for 21 business days and they cannot tell you anything for 21 business days as to where it is all they can say is it's been shipped and if you don't want it don't accept it and it will be returned. I asked how long it's going to take for the bathing suit to arrive and was told not until June 13 can I pay the duty and then it only takes a couple more day before it's here. Are you kidding me. It takes a month and a half to get your item and you are paying for shipping go figure. I will not buy anything from them again. They took the money right away but they don't let you pay the duty or taxes. Their shipping is a joke.

The styles look really cute, but, yes, the quality is poor. In spite of the quality, I decided to keep the things knowing full well that they wouldn't last that long. I don't like to send things back. However, a necklace I ordered was fabricated incorrectly and was a jumbled mess. I sent a message to live chat and was told I was being sent a replacement. At that point I was pretty happy with Venus, despite knowing the quality was not very good; I thought that at least they took care of the customers. Well, two weeks went by and no necklace. I just contacted them again and was told I would receive a refund. I found their live chat to be less than professional. The clerk disconnected on me before asking if that was everything. I was very polite, but it just felt like a brush off. Whether I receive a refund now or not (and I am not hopeful), I will not shop there again. UPDATE: in fairness to Venus, they did refund my account about one week after my contact with them. So at least they did do that. I personally still do not plan to shop with them anymore, but I wanted to accurately reflect my experience with them. Thank you.

Products DOESNT LOOK LIKE THE PICTURE AT ALL, the fabric is not the same and the quality either. It is totally cheap, one dress even had a hole in it. When I asked If I could get my money back and ship them back the items(even sending them pictures comparisons) they told me the item was fine and that I wasnt gonna have my money back... In the mails I received, the service was bad and the person wasnt really answering my questions and concern, it felt like they didnt understood what I was saying...

NEVER AGAIN.

Crap

This was my first purchase went online, loved the items, ordered three things: a pair of pants, a lingerie romper, and a shirt. The shirt was great, though I'm a bit iffy on the shoulder openings.

The pants came out of the bag with a back seam coming apart. I did not even try them on, as I would never pay to have them fixed.

I tried the lingerie romper on, which was too big for me, even though it was the smallest size they had, and as I was carefully pulling the strap over my shoulder it came apart. And there was not much tension put on the strap at all which was very stretchy. This speaks to the quality of the items.

Buyer beware. If two out of three of my items were defective right out of the bag, that does not say much for this brand.

Also, I'm a buyer in Canada, and I had to pay duty on my shipment. The shipment arrived and the "sender" address was in Ontario. Why am I paying duty for items shipped in the same country?!

Another thing, the receipt said there is a return label in the bag. No, I couldn't find a return label.

Needless to say, that is the one and only time I'll be purchasing from Venus.

Love the clothes but be careful if you return an item. If you do not use their return shipping label they will still charge you. They are hoping you don't notice. Did the same to my daughter.
