Also I wanted to add, they do let you order tops & bottoms separately, unlike other online companies. You can order the bikini tops in bra sizes which helps too! And they are always happy to accommodate their customers
I always purchase a size 14 in a swim suit. This one fit like a 12 and was very flimsy. The fact I paid over $120 Canadian and waited over 3 weeks for this suit was disappointing. Now I find out I have to make a trip to the post office and purchase a return label. I will also end up paying for shipping costs. I'm expecting the service will be slow and it will be weeks before the cost of the suit is returned to my credit card. Not a good company for Canadian buyers.
I had to return 3 pair of pants because they ran too big. Venus has a new return policy called, "Happy Return Bar". Well I'm not happy at all. They charged me a $7.84 return fee plus a promotional shipping adjustment for $6.95. So for the pleasure of trying on their jeans they charged me $11.90. Last time I will be ordering from them. I don't want to do business with a merchant that is sneaky.

I purchased a dress, ordered it in 2 sizes. Kept the one that fit better, and want to return the other. I have to say their return policy is awful. If you start a return online, you will be stuck. Absolutely no changes, and when you call customer service, they tell you they can't do anything once a return is initiated. Absolutely done shopping here, too much of a hassle. A lot better options with easier returns out there.

I've purchased several items for years and my past couple purchases, I keep having issues. I purchased a deep plunge bra and it's awful - it won't stick (it's the correct size and I am not wearing any creams that can interfere with application), and it came dented. I originally flagged the dent and the customer service response was terrible - I think I'll stop purchasing in the future.

I have ordered several items from Venus but truly was disappointed when I had it returned and item that was crap. They actually charged me a restocking charge. This is the last time I will order from Venus. I don't believe that I should have to pay for restocking charge and also for the freight of $4.95. I hate pettiness and I'm truly through with Venus. I am cutting up their credit card

Good pricing when there is a sale or items that you want on clearance, which I lucky enough to find 4 items that I wanted
If you exchange by phone, shipping is free for the new item but you will still have to pay for the return/exchange shipping
Customer service was very pleasant when I called and they were very happy to help me out and answer my questions.
I ordered shape wear, skirt, and 2 swimsuit tops and all have been pretty good quality for the price I paid (but as I mentioned they were on clearance/sale).
I loved the Roxanne push up Swimsuit top because it helped shape while also providing a bit of lift so I don't look totally flat!
I also was satisfied with the Fringe Skirt I ordered although it is a little too long but nothing a little rolling up can't fix.
Shipping is quick they have a 7 business day guarantee! Without an extra charge of any kind and I thought it was reasonably priced at about $8.
Cons:
Charge for return shipping if not by phone
No way to filter selections (ie. Price from low to high, colors etc.), just scroll through the many options that they have available, and it might not even be in your size!
All of the items I ordered are delicate or hand wash only

I purchased for the second time, same bathing suit. Covid 19 has put on extra pounds. Ordered same suit in larger size. Bottom is one color of aqua, top is a faded out, cheap fabric, can't get wrinkles out, "Venus" tag in suit is cheap looking, not like previous suits. Their quality has slipped to bout zero.
Also ordered ombré shoulder cover up. Faded badly and stained my washer tub even after using cold water. Venus isn't what it used to be. $130 for two pieces of cheap fabric. Waiting for return label. Regret they are selling such cheap items at same price or higher!

Prices are not in alignment with today's market. In addition, their credit card payment cutoff on the due date is 5:00 p.m. EST. That is way too early for those of us who work full-time. They only grant one waiver every 18 months and are unforgiving. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have been a customer for 20+ years and will not be shopping here much longer if this continues. Venus, you need to put the customer first. You used to do so and THAT is how you grew as a company. Get over yourself.

Saw a cute blue lace one piece bathing suit. Description said runs small.order a size up. Since it was on clearance at 14.99 only size bigger than mine (I'm a 16) was 22.so I figured why not.it's cute and a Lil loose would be fine. Well it arrived today and didn't go past my hips.almost ZERO stretch! Never had a problem with venus pants.tops.skirts.boots.jackets etc. Maybe they should get out of the swimwear sector. Not worth returning it due to shipping fee so I'll keep until I lose 50lbs or give to a skinny friend!

Venus has cheapened the quality of their material since my last order, so beware. I have spent a lot of money with this company and I typically make a large purchase every spring. Not the same this year! I just received an order of several items and the quality of material is awful. Thin, see-through polyester junk. This is not the Venus I knew and loved. Will not be shopping here anymore. What a ripoff! Thanks for nothing.

Most of my wardrobe is Venus clothing. So I was surprised to see so many bad reviews. Bevause all of the clothing I have received was very trendy and of good quality. When I did have to make a return for an item that didn't fit right, I had no problems with returns either, as Venus refunded my money without any problems. I tend to think that more people report problem issues, because they are upset, and not many take the time to report when they've had good service.

I notice a lot of reviews say that the clothing runs big. I think that most of the peices are made to fit loose and flowy, instead of tight. If you want it more form fitting and not loose and flowy, then order down a size.

I returned several items on my order due to the sizing being very inconsistent and some pieces looked way different than pictured on website (one had beads/rhinestones glued all over that were not pictured). I used the return label venus provided and filled out the return slip correctly... This would have been for at least $80.00 back. Luckily I kept the tracking number and sure enough it was delivered to them 5 weeks ago!
So I contact customer service by email and tell them everything, how long it has been and that I have tracking info. They sent me back a form email saying refunds may take 14 business days so I should wait (it's been 5 weeks!). But that they don't plan to refund me anyway because the package was never received by them... So how is it that I used a return label provided by them, and tracking says they have it, but it is not their problem?
Considering other people have complained about this exact issue with them I believe it is a tactic to see if people even notice they didn't get the refund. Now I'm going to have to dispute this with my credit card company because this company is so shady. You can get the same quality of clothing on Amazon but at least you know Amazon is going to refund you and not pull scams like this.

BUYER BEWARE!. I've purchased two items and returned both. One was received by Venus on 11/18 and the other on 12/7 as indicated by UPS tracking numbers. Getting a refund is next to impossible. After multiple chats and emails, I still haven't gotten my refund. Venus said it was sent to paypal. Paypal shows no record. Venus indicated to contact my bank. My account still shows the credit for the amount $54.59! This is my experience. I will never purchase from Venus again. Not worth the headaches.

I've been buying Venus clothing and swimsuits since before they had a website. I've never been disappointed in a purchase I made with them. The swimsuits are very high quality, and I love that you can custom make your swimsuit to your body shape. I've bought dresses, shirts, shorts... one of my favorite pairs of shorts ever, I got from them. Lasted about 10 years and wore them often. I'm 5'8 and a pretty consistent Medium. I'm 53 now, started buying from them when I was 29. I've literally NEVER been disappointed with my purchase.

Been a customer for over a decade and have spent thousands of dollars. This last year since they've teamed up with Lascana they have become a company of poor quality, ill fitting clothes. Trust me, my closet is no less than 75% Venus purchases. I am sad to go but cannot continue to spend my money on what has become junk. The last order I received (just yesterday and it will be my last) the clothing has a weird chemical smell to it. Very disappointed to lose this clothing option
So I ordered 289.00 worth of cloths. It was damaged in the mail and never received. I called and they sent out what they didn't have on back order. So by the end of two months dealing with these idiots I am still missing an outfit and they won't send it. There trying to charge my card again for something I paid for two months ago. What a joke! I saw a review/haul video on YouTube and the clothing they sell really caught my eye.
I ordered $200 worth of items and waited about a month for them. I live in Canada. I chose my usual sizes, and checked the sizing charts in the event of any discrepancies. To my disappointment, the sizing is way off. The quality is cheap. For a plus sized t-shirt, I was surprised that it sat at my bellybutton. The romper I purchased was way too big, as were the pants and tank top. Everything says it was made in China and the material and quality is what you'd likely find purchasing clothing from a dollar store. I won't worry about the hassle of returning them, I will give them away but lesson learned. Read all the reviews before you order.

I started ordering from venus less than a year ago and LOVED them. Then all of a sudden the quality of their clothes just tanked. I keep returning orders and ordering new things thinking maybe I just picked a few bad items, but I can't seem to get anything with the quality of my first few purchases. Well i contacted a representative in the live chat and they said that the site was wrong it was actually on backorder until December.
