They have cute clothes but I have to say their customer service is not worth the clothes. They have a contact us but they never help. My address is incorrect because their website switched my mailing address on me, not sure why it does not mail to the address I put into my profile. I called 5 mins after the order only for customer service to blame me for the mistake and say that they can not help me even though the order is still in process and has not been shipped yet. Not to mention, only order from them if you have time to wait three weeks or more to get your order. They ship using USPS which does not track your order so you will never know when it is coming. I wrote with these concerns and they just kept blaming me. From what I see in these reviews they are not at all concerned about their customers being satisfied. I am about ready to cancel my credit card and send all merch coming my way right back to them without opening it for a refund because their service has been so poor. It has been three weeks that I have been waiting on an order from Venus. They are shipping from Jacksonville, FL and I live in Raleigh NC. That should only be a three-day delivery if that! Be sure to pay extra for UPS or FedEx, the only real carriers who know how to perform their jobs. Shame on VENUS for being so $#*!ty at the customer service!
Very crappy experience. Distribution center is in Ontario but they are actually in US so I had to pay shipping and duties. When I returned their FAR too large clothing, I had to pay another shipping fee of over 25 dollars and they want duty fee again. I ordered this a long time ago and their customer service act like they dont give a damn. NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN
Venus used to be my go to for dresses and bathing suits. Now, however, the quality is crap! The sizes are not true and the materials seem super cheap. Will never order from them again.

I have shopped with Venus on and off for many years and considered myself a good loyal customer. Just this year I placed seven different orders for more than a dozen items with only one item returned. However, it took one bad return experience on top of a dismissive representative to leave a bad taste in my mouth and unsubscribe. Apparently I stumbled on the final sale item and I never had in the past (I never search for them on purpose), so I didn't realize that. Venus still included the return label, so I shipped it back and just got a processed refund notice for zero dollars. The company doesn't even offer to ship the item back, if I was willing to keep it after all and pay for extra shipping. I made an honest mistake and didn't notice the fine print, but just because the company is legally in the right, it doesn't make it the right thing to do. Some online sellers offer a once-per-year goodwill adjustment to their regular shoppers and Venus doesn't even offer it once-per-lifetime. It's a pretty bad business decision and not a friendly return policy, especially considering that we cannot try the items on before making the purchase. Oh and by the way - that "discontinued item" (the language they use to refuse the refund) is still featured on the Venus website, so they are just going to resell it and pocket the money twice.

I noticed my negative comments never posted when I ordered a few tops from venus and all of them were extremely small and short in length and fit really tight with tight arms and made me look like a busted can of biscuits. It's odd to have to wait for an email to see if you can review the items you paid for, sometimes you don't get an email to review items. When I posted less than 3 stars on items I noticed my reviews never posted. Those items still have high reviews and I'm a size 4/6 so if I was unhappy with the sizing I'm sure many others were and somehow this company pretends to offer higher end clothing yet its cheaply made overseas with garbage thin material. Someone else made a review with 5 stars and the review said they noticed they couldn't share negative reviews and were posting a 5 star to see if it posted and sure enough that was the proof I needed. Their swim is hit and miss and sizing is never consistent. Also way overpriced for what you get, I only shop with them if it's a really cheap sale on bathing suits which I did recently and spent about 20 bucks per suit

I've been shopping with venues for some time and the plus size clothes are not as cute as the smaller clothes which is unfair I have a nice body and don't wanna wear old lady clothes that really suck
Don't order from here ever. It has been such a NIGHTMARE. I ordered a package three weeks ago and was really excited to receive it the other night. When I opened it I discovered that inside was none of the products I had ordered and actually contained someone else's name and order form! Yet my name and address were on the outside of the package. How does that even happen? I called customer service and they were super understanding or so I thought. The man told me had upgraded my package to overnight shipping for free so that I would get it the next day... two days go by and nothing. I call again and the woman says that despite what that man said he never submitted for another package to be sent and that she could send one out to me and have it there a week later. Furious I said no I was told it can be upgraded to overnight shipping for free and she responded oh yes I can do that as well. Three days later and I still have not received my package. Cute suits for good prices but it is not worth all of this I will never order from here again. Here's to hoping I receive my package at some point!

I'm very surprised by all the negative reviews. Okay... everybody knows that these are a little overpriced. But I have received tons of compliments on these clothes because the styles are always different/original. Most of their clothes are made for 20 year olds with flat stomachs. I'm 44 and curvy and I'm able to wear their mediums comfortably. If you're looking for high-quality- last forever- clothes, these are not for you. You have to hand wash them cold and hang to dry. I've been buying their bathing suits for the past 10 years and have always loved them, and since I rinse them in cold water with their mild soap every single time I wear them I can get two or three seasons out of them. They have the over- the- shoulder- straps that are hard to find. I always go to RetailMeNot and get a coupon for free shipping. Furthermore, if I have a return, I simply call customer service and ask for a return code to put on the package so that I do not have to pay return shipping. Use your brain people! Finally, I must have called them over 20 times in the past 10 years. They are always extremely extremely courteous and helpful. Yes, I've been screwed a couple times and had to pay return shipping fees. That's why you really should know what size to order. I'm 5' 5", 155 lb and D cups and I always order a medium in their shirts and eight in their pants. I order size D cup even though they say to order up, and I order a 10 in the Bikini Bottoms.
Doesn't surprise me that their business is going down... ordered a sweater back in DEC 2017 and it was back-ordered until the end of January. It finally shipped and I was finally charged for it for the first time on Jan 23,2018. HOWEVER, they shipped it to the wrong address and it ended up being returned to them. I contacted customer service and they issued me a replacement on 2/7/18 but they CHARGED ME A SECOND TIME and have sent me THREE different tracking numbers for this package, none of them work. I call into customer service AGAIN and they say they've issued the refund but won't provide any proof and that they've cancelled my order now. I've now been charged TWICE for something I've never received.

This is about the 3rd time in the last few years I've ordered a shirt from there and believe me the ombre blue laced top looked adorable fitting nice and tight on the model but guess what?! I ordered an EXTRA SMALL and it fit like a Damn LARGE, the sleeves were extremely baggy and the color wasn't even the exact match as in the picture... dont know if I will order from here anymore. Same problem everytime.
I ordered two bathing suit tops and three bottoms. When I placed my order there was no indication that the items were back ordered. I paid for two-day shipping. When I didn't receive my suits in two days, I looked for an email -- I had received nothing. Then I signed onto Venus and the status of two tops and two bottoms was "back ordered" with no dates. Two days after that I received one bottom -- not much help without a top!
I waited and rechecked. Still nothing. A month later I tried the online chat. I was told they were back ordered until October 5. I followed up with additional questions about refunding my two day shipping change, when I could expect delivery and if I'd get all my pieces at the same time. The online chat person had disappeared. I waited over 30 minutes (the chat is still open).
I tried another chat. She disappeared immediately when I told her I had tried chat earlier. The I called. The customer account rep hung up on me when I told her I had tried the chat function.
Called again. This time talked to a man. He finally answered my question -- back ordered until December! What? It's still available for sale on the website with no warning about the back order.
Will never order from Venus again!

Back 15+ years ago, Venus aimed their clothing at teens and twenty-somethings. In the last decade they have "grown up", and anyone fro 12-60 can find something on their site! The clothing's made with quality, each swimsuit I buy lasts me at least 6-7 seasons, and I always got great compliments and a ton of people still ask me where I got each piece. I asked their CS team to PLEASE let us all leave clothing reviews on their site, and by god, they did it! Now you can look at reviews and get sizing info (dos it run a little big or a little small since they do carry different brands, and though they AIM to have a sizing chart that is universal, it works for most tings, but not everything. Please, people, look at the chart and all f the reviews before ordering, and yo should have no issue at all. My one complaint is they will sell the same outfit/clothing for years in a row, and never lower the $$, but if it is selling well, I guess it works for them. I have never had any issues with their clothes wearing out! Kudos from a REALLY long term customer!

I was charged the 6.95 for the return label which I knew about and almost $20 in hidden fees. $12.95 fee on a $39 dress $3 on $24 jeans and $2 on $22 top. And the reason I returned everything was because the clothing was just soooo horribly cheap and usually things run small when made over seas, everything I ordered was so big (I'm a medium) I swear they were large or extra large the bum lifter jeans were so long and big they looked like gramma pants when I put them on, the surplice baby doll top looked like a hot mess like it just wasn't made properly I'm a 36DD and the medium was so loose in the chest it was hanging, and the flared lace trim dress I wanted to wear to a Christmas party. Forget about it, the dress itself just looked so cheap and again so large I looked like I was wearing a maternity dress not very sexy at all. I will never order from them again.

I HAVE NEVER HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE CUSTOMER SERVICE BUT I ONLY WISH THEY HAD PROMO CODES LIKE OTHER ONLINE PLACES... AND THE SHIPPING WAS LOWER..
I have ordered from Venus probably around 4 times. It's funny because if time I order a lot of things and out of let's say 10 items I have ordered maybe 2 will be nice, and look like what they looked like in catalog. The return policy is a joke with all the hidden fees, and duty because I am from Canada. To return items is just paying this company for absolutely NOTHING. I agree that they have very nice items in their catalog which is why I order from them again and again hoping that maybe this time it will be worth it, and sadly it never is I have wasted $1000's of dollars. Don't do it! The quality is GARBAGE! Out of 50 items ordered I have 4 I can wear. It's NEVER what it looks like in the catalog. I WOULD NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! THIS CLOTHING NEEDS TO BE LOOKED AT AND TRIED ON BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING!
Venus refused to refund me the full amount I'm owed after sending back an item (perfect condition, within the return period, expensive return shipping paid for by myself). I noticed they didn't refund me the full amount for the garment and when I emailed they said there was a "restocking fee" because the item was part of a "promotional sale" since I got free shipping on it. I bought the item full price, and there was no mention when going through the checkout that because I qualified for free shipping on my expensive order, a restocking fee would apply if I tried to return it. Their return policy discloses absolutely nothing about restocking fees. This is extremely shady, no online retailer should ever be ripping you off like this with hidden fees they don't disclose anywhere on their website. They expect you to not check your credit card bill and not notice that they didn't refund you the full amount. Also, just the fact that they tried to convince me that buying a lot and qualifying for free shipping makes it a "promotional sale" is a joke. Every online retailer gives you free shipping over a certain amount. Nice try Venus. Won't be shopping you again.
Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
