Customization of sleeves

I frankly never encountered a company like eShakti before - you choose an item and then you can itemize the length, the sleeves, the cleavage and so on... how many times have we seen something we liked in the catalog just wishing for one variable to be different? So I really enjoyed their customization feature. The customer service is also like I have never seen before. I thought one dress came in a bit longer than pictured, but it wasn't a big deal - I still liked it and was planning to keep it. However, once I mentioned that picture discrepancy, they remade the entire item for me despite my protests that it's not necessary. The company's response was "we want to ensure our customer has the best outfit with perfect fit". So I am truly impressed. My only suggestion would be - despite being happy to find a few unique dresses on their site, I would recommend adding more 'traditional-looking' simpler 'lighter' clothing products to choose from. With all that said - I'm definitely a fan.

I purchased quite a few items from Creation L in the past and enjoyed most of them. Unfortunately I ended up unsubscribing due to an unresolved customer service issue. I moved and promptly changed my shipping address for the backordered items. One of those items arrived to my new home. The second item was shipped to the old address two months later. Since Creation L does not use Priority Mail, I had to pay extra to USPS for my mail-forward service of that specific shipment. I emailed the company to get reimbursed for that extra cost, but they just gave me some 1-800 number. This was a pretty straight-forward issue that could have been resolved via email rather than giving me the runaround. Invest in your CSR department - only happy employees will keep customers happy.

I have shopped with Venus on and off for many years and considered myself a good loyal customer. Just this year I placed seven different orders for more than a dozen items with only one item returned. However, it took one bad return experience on top of a dismissive representative to leave a bad taste in my mouth and unsubscribe. Apparently I stumbled on the final sale item and I never had in the past (I never search for them on purpose), so I didn't realize that. Venus still included the return label, so I shipped it back and just got a processed refund notice for zero dollars. The company doesn't even offer to ship the item back, if I was willing to keep it after all and pay for extra shipping. I made an honest mistake and didn't notice the fine print, but just because the company is legally in the right, it doesn't make it the right thing to do. Some online sellers offer a once-per-year goodwill adjustment to their regular shoppers and Venus doesn't even offer it once-per-lifetime. It's a pretty bad business decision and not a friendly return policy, especially considering that we cannot try the items on before making the purchase. Oh and by the way - that "discontinued item" (the language they use to refuse the refund) is still featured on the Venus website, so they are just going to resell it and pocket the money twice.

Apparently BHFO doesn't charge the sales tax at the time of the purchase on eBay (probably to make their final price look cheaper), but if you live in a sales tax state - expect a letter in the beginning of the year that all your purchases from the previous year have been reported to the state authorities. It is the right thing to pay taxes, but dealing with it is a hassle. So I wish this company wouldn't push that headache onto its online consumers and just charge the sales tax upfront (or at least be transparent about what we will have to deal with at the end).
