Very bad, Venus put one picture in the web and after they send a product that is not the same, not really close to one they offer. The worst: you have to pay the return eventhought it is not your mistake
Venus has some cute clothes if you can live with the so-so quality. But customer service and inventory control is generally lacking. Several times I've had backorders canceled by them, saying the items are no longer in stock. I then check the website and the items ARE in stock in the size/color I ordered. Pretty annoying. No excuse for this with computers to handle orders and inventory.
I ordered a dress for my Granddaughter before Christmas. It was on backorder but was too arrive the first week in Jan. 2017. Charge taken out of my account, still no dress. When I called about it, was told they never got the order. Checked the online account no back order history. Was told order number would be on the charge in my account but of course it wasn't. Called my bank today to dispute charge. They lost a good customers as I prefer to shop online but never from them again. I can accept mistakes but not outright lies.
I wish I read the reviews about Venus and the awful way they conduct business. I will never again buy anything from them. I bought a 1 piece bathing suit from them. I checked the sizing chart, and checked reviews about that particular suit, and they all said it runs true to size. I am a true size 10. When I got the suit, I couldn't even get it past my knees. Was it a size 10 for a child? Awful! And now to send it back they're going to deduct $6.95?!?!?!? What if I just wanted to exchange it for a different size? Absolutely ludicrous, do NOT buy from them!
This "fashion" magazine for WOMEN uses models, which are MEN masquerading as females. Check out the NO hips, shoulders wider than hips, large neck, large hands, joker mouth, trachea cage in neck (sometimes not all the time due to trachea feminization surgery) tranny poses (hand(s) on hips or legs crossed). This fashion magazine is only worthy of the trash can since they use shemales. When this fashion magazine decides to use genuine females to model their fashion, then I will consider their clothing.

The clothes that I received were of poor quality, also they sent me wrong sizes and colors!
I had already wrote more than 12 emails since November 2013, and they don't want to refund me, I sent pictures of their mistakes, details of suborders... they have a terrible customer service, almost as bad as their clothes...
If you want to change anything, you should sent more than 12 emails (and increasing, currently) with pictures, also they answer the email as they are a stupid machine, it's difficult the communication by email. And you should paid all shippings although they had sent wrong clothes... also they only refund a 10% for their mistakes (in case of you don't want to return the clothes because the shipping is expensive and you should paid it). If you are lucky or you want to waste your money in a bad experience, buy in this shop. =_=
The dress you buy or ANYTHING you buy from this website will look NOTHING like the picture. Horrible. Horrible. Horrible. I am sending the dress back right away and receiving a refund ASAP. It is truly disgusting how scummy a clothing company could be. The dress looks nothing like the picture, total opposite.
I'm very happy with the customer service that I have received and so far the clothes are up to my standards and I have enjoyed everything that I have received so far and the kindness and consideration I've been given whenever I have called customer service. Keep up the good job
I ordered what I thought looked like a gorgeous coral maxi dress for my daughters wedding. It was on sale for $22.00. I thought "how lucky am I?". Haha, what a joke! It was not lined, completely see through and the large was big enough for an elephant. I was charged $22 for the dress, $1.62 (wrong amount) for tax and $4.95 for P&H. When I returned the dress, they credited my credit card $16.37! WHAT? Yes, $22 for dress, $1.32 (right amount, of course) for tax and $6.95 for return label. Why did I pay more to ship it back then it was to ship it to me. All in all, the was difference was $12.20! BBB WILL BE NOTIFIED! I have a business and this is not the way to run one!
I ordered 4 dresses to try for New Years Eve Party on the 8th of December. I waited a week and the order didn't ship. I called and found out they had confused my billing and shipping address and instead of letting me know just held the order. I communicated and fixed the address issue and was assured it was going out the next day. It didn't. I called again and they apologized saying their manager was express mailing and it would be here in 2 days. Still didn't happen. Now it says the order will arrive on the 29th or 30th. To late for my party. This companies customer service is below satisfactory. I am super disappointed and have a week to find a dress. :( I will order with a company who doesn't play games and can deliver what they say. This company is a big disappointment and cannot be trusted to deliver on time. Look somewhere else please.

I will never order from Venus again, they are unreliable, I placed a order twice and the first order didn't received it until a month later the second one was order july 10 I still haven't received it today is august 10th! Never again will I order from them.
I ordered a dress from like 2 weeks and I disn't receive it till now I have a party I mailed Venus to asking about my order but they didn't answer for 5 times then I called the costumer service and the employee told me that they don't have that kind of dresses.so I loose my time waiting the order and they dont helps me either they don't give me an excuse. Ordered about 3 Venus swimsuits about 3 years ago. All fit very well using their sizing chart, and I was very satisfied. BUT something has changed. After completing reconstructiive breast surgery for breast cancer, I now have a really nice looking size "C" chest. So I ordered new tops to go with my exisiting bottoms. Using the sizing chart, the tops were huge. Very poor fit. So I reordered a smaller size. Still, cups gape at the outsides, and the triangle top will not conform and lie nicely underneath the breast no matter how tight you tie the ties. Really dissapointing. Something has changed in manufacturing. I will be returning all tops.

I mail ordered a swim suit and got to pay $7.95 shipping and handling, plus the price of the swim suit, to have it delivered. They arrived in a timely manner. The suit fit like crap. When I wanted to return it, i had to pay a $6.95 return charge. So, I had to pay $15.00 to try the darn thing on. Bad customer satisifation policy in that you make your profits on transport fees. I`d ordered two items from dressvenus and the shipping was fast! I think two weeks, but it is good, because I live in Germany, so the shipping is fast. I`d bought a t. Shirt and a pair of jeans. The quality is good. I like the t. Shirt and also the jeans, I`m an asian and petite/small. I love the jeans, the lenght is perfect, but the wide is a little bit to small, so I will get a new one. One negative point is, that my jeans has no hole for the knot>.< but the server was so friendly, that I will get a new pair of jeans. :)
Venus clothes look great on pictures only, when the product arrives it's very cheap sometimes very thin see through material, I would understand this if the quality fitted with the price but it doesn't.
I have been buying from Venus for years and it took me some time to stop, too many clothes that went to garbage because I'm in Canada and it's not worth it to ship it back, so much money waisted but it finally stopped I found better companies to order from where most clothes are made in Canada and not China!

I ordered a tankini top from here at 7:30 in the morning and tried to cancel at 11:30 and it hadn't been shipped or picked up only in ordered status. They will not do it!
They want me to receive it (pay for shipping) and then ship it back when they can just call the warehouse and cancel it! I will not order from here again customer service stinks!
I have read many reviews and they all seemed terrible! I don't ever write reviews but seeing all the bad reviews I felt like I had to. I just received my clothes today and I have to tell you I went out on the biggest limb I could find and ordered over 600 dollars worth of clothes because the styles were so cute I couldn't resist. Anyway- I received them today and holy s$&t... I LOVE EVERY PIECE I ORDERED! That never happens,,, Everything fits like a glove! I saw a lot of reviews talking about the clothes were to big... I'm 5'5 120 lbs and I ordered everything in a small and it fit perfectly... Some things were a little lose but I have to admit it was NICE... Everything I own doesn't have to be skin tight! And just because they were a tiny bit bigger before I even washed and dried... I gotta tell ya... still looked good. I'm not paid by them but just it was necessary to give credit where credit is due.
I ordered 2 shirts, 2 skirts a dress 2 pair of pants. 1 skirt was missing. The other skirt was irregular! The applique was sewn scrunched up. The dress was cheap looking and tge color was dingy, the legging pants were not as pictured and the other pants ran small. The shirt medium (my size) was too tight, but the large fit better. I'm very disappointed and sending almost everything back.
Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
