Love the service at Venus, Always received my items in a timely matter, love the prices, ya I'm waiting on a back order but they sent me a email right away saying my item was a back order & say they wont charge me until they ship my item. Wish they had more plus sizes. Other than that, great service!
I was so excited to get my order for my vacation coming up. Much like other reviews Ive read after I got my order (unfortunately it was after!) the clothes were cheaply made copies of the clothes the models were wearing. Im sending all of it back and will never order from them again! Too bad because the clothes in the pictures are so cute... I feel like Ive been "had" and now will lose money sending it all back!
Ordered dec 23 for a holiday on January 11. Won't be here by then and offered me a 15% discount. Sorry I don't want your 15% on shorts and a dress for the Canadian winter. Sat at Landmark shipping from dec 26- January 8 with no help from the company. Company website states 3-5 days once through customs and the tracking number states it'll be here jan17. Last time I order through this scam
I have purchased many, many items from Venus over the past years and I rarely see bad quality. The few items that I have returned were because of size but I never had a problem with a return. Venus is the first on-line store that I go to when I am in need of clothes. I love shopping at Venus.com.
I looked at this site for a very long time before I ordered. Was not sure about the sizing. When I got the items they were too big. I sent it back. Called customer service and told them that I needed the items as soon as possible. They reshipped with the correct size overnight and waved the shipping fee. So happy with the customer service that I'm buying again in less than a month.
I'm kind of iffy on the site. I've ordered around 4 or 5 items and ended up returning all but 2 of them and I was still only partially pleased with the ones I chose to keep. I ordered what I thought was the correct size and everything was way too big and nothing looked like they did in the pictures. I know now that they just Taylor the clothes to the women in the photos just so they look decent. And as for the returns, they charged me double what they said return shipping costs. I'm contemplating repurchasing a dress in the correct size in hopes they look nice...
And just a thought, most clothing sites have reviews, and this one doesn't... There is a reason for this I'm sure. Too many displeased customers would give poor ratings and ruin their business.
I am very disapointed in Venus company. I bought boots 2 weeks ago.In the first week they were all with scrapes.As days pass, they are getting very uncomfortable for wearing and my feet hurt.And the price was very high.
I like to buy my wife cloths. I almost exclusively use venus. Cloths generally fit as described. Some things she did not like on her and we returned without issue. I generally buy about $1200 to $1500 of products each year.

Don't let the "positive" reviews fool you. They are fake. Not the company, but the reviews. However, the company is basically a SCAM. They send you inferior quality products that cost a fraction of what you paid. If you return, they find ways to charge you shipping plus stocking fees, to credit less than half of what you paid... in 1 or 2 months.
It needs to go out of business. They might technically be a company, but they're not legit. Scammers are what they are.

I bought a dress didn't like it and since I live in Jacksonville I decided to drop it off rather than pay the $6.95 fee. 1st call I was told it takes up to 5 business days for refund now today I'm being told it takes 7 business days for refund. I told the rep, I will wait until Tuesday but if I don't see it I will be going back to their office. I know of no other company these days that takes this long to refund your money.
I have not ordered from them in years an this will be the last order... EVER!
It's a disservice to the customer!
I have had a bathing suit in my cart of a week now and was ready to pull the trigger but i am definitely rethinking as i know bathing suits dont always fit correct and seeing as most reviews are stating I will be charged to return i am not about to be charged to ship to me to only be charged again to return ship. That seems ridiculous. Looks like ill be re-visiting Victoria Secret this year for my suit needs.

This includes sale items, clearance items and even swimwear that is in a new and unused condition. However, this policy does not cover final sale items. Final sale items can not be returned for an exchange or refund. If final sale items are returned, we are unable to re-ship the item to you or process credit for the item. We do provide return instructions with the package in the event you want to return an item. If you are returning from the United States and you decide to use the prepaid label that comes with the order and select to receive a standard refund to your bank card, we will deduct $6.95 from your return. I bought a bikini from Venus a month ago, and HATE it! Especially the top. It feels awful, fits awful, and looks awful! Very very poor material. Please AVOID them at all cost! I'm very upset that I just wasted $53 for a cheap ugly swimsuit... lesson learned. NEVER AGAIN.

I have been ordering from Venus.com and from the catalog for over a year now and have really liked everything I have gotten so far (with one exception), I did buy a pair of boots, and the zipper did not work, but they quickly credited my account for the boots and I found something else to replace them with! All in all, I really like them! I get a ton of compliments when I wear something I have purchased from them! Reviews do help in making informed decisions, however, you really do need to be your own judge. If I had believed everything I had read about this company, I would have never gotten the chance to see for myself.
I originally bought the EMBELLISHED ROPE SANDALS on 4/22/19 in a size 9. Well I sent them back to Venus to get my true size which was a 8.5. Didn't realize you basically pay for the shipping label your self. So to get my exchange I had to pay the difference. Afterwards, got the 2nd pair of shoes back to me in a 8.5 for them to be extremely big. Had my mom and sister try the 8.5 on and it fits their feet when they wear a size 10. Called Venus for them to basically say I am lying. This shoe was huge on my feet.

Venus is great they just have to work on their shipping. It takes weeks before you get your shipment. If your in a hurry to receive clothes you can forget it. I don't understand I order from London England and get my shipment in next couple of days. I am from Toronto and it takes 2 business days from london england and Venus shipping is a joke

Awful company. Their sizing is all off. Then when you try to return, they hold a portion of your credit back. Then when you call, multiple times, they tell you they held back the tax. No haha. Not the tax. The people answering the phone don't know anything about the company. So they kept part of my money. I spent so much time trying to call and sort it. I will never shop with this company again. Beware. This company should not be in business.

I bought 8 items from this site. I got a belly chain, pajama set, 2 bikini coverups, and 2 bikinis. I did actually really enjoy one of the bikinis, the pajama set, and one of the cover ups... but there is just way too many bad things to say about this site to really be happy about my purchase. First of all my belly chain broke just from casually moving it around to look at it. The other bikini looked nothing like pictured, it was awful. And they gave me a completely wrong item! I ordered a pink wrap dress and they gave me a blue paisley patterned slip dress! After paying over $100 just in taxes and duties to Canada, there is no way im going to even try to exchange or refund a single thing. So upset after spending so much on the items and to get it here. I will never buy from this site again.
Id like to make it clear that I was only reviewing Steve in customer service at Venus, he was rude, snarky and condescending. He needs to be retrained ( at work and probably at home). As for their clothes & reruns I have not had a problem.
I ordered blue dress, need it for today. Received yesterday... and. O. my. Instead of dress there was wrong item shipped - cheap and ugly top, of course I ran to the UPS and returned package immediately. But. No dress for today and I still don't understand why Venus don't fix they own mistakes and why in this particular case I have to pay for return shipping and I paid for other shipping too. Other companies at least return money for shipping if they make mistakes... And customer service is terrible also... they don't care!

I got a birthday gift from a friend, size did not fit well. I send the items back for an exchange ( with return and exchange note) and talk to representative twice ( I waist ed a lot of time on the phone)before I made the return. A moth later still I did not get my items... when I call they said they just refund money to credit card that made the purchase... with out calling me or anything! Reason... they say maybe they did not have the item available! Horrible experience. Friend that send me gift knew brand throuhg me. I will never recommend or buy from this brand again!
Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
