I have been ordering from Venus for years. I have spent thousands of dollars on clothes and shoes. So naturally when I got engaged I thought I'd look for my wedding dress on Venus because I'm loyal like that. Now mind you in all these years I've been ordering I've had an item here and there not fit but have never had anything but great customer service and always been pleased with the quickness of my refund or exchange. So with that being said I found the dress I wanted and ordered it. I received it yesterday and it's like the dress was made for me. As usual high quality material, beautiful just like the picture and fit me perfectly! This just solidified my faith in them and I will continue to order and recommend them to my friends. As far as I'm concerned Venus is a Rockstar and I will continue to spend my money with them. Keep up the good work you guys rock!
I ordered a dress, They don't inform you about them not returning your money in a timely manner, they tell you once you put in your order that Final sales you cannot receive anything for them you can't return or exchange and they say they can't send it back to you once it's ordered. I do not recommend this site and I am very dissatisfied with their response. Minimum that can be done for a customer is credit and to not offer credit on an item that was not even worn and returned in perfect condition is stealing from people that could be loyal customers. It's upsetting to realize how deceiving this site could be. Will not recommend or shop in this site ever and I hope no one else falls for this and read everything even the FAQ's which is where they i form you of this, not even in the right section they let you know.
I had a credit from an order where they shipped literally all wrong elements in my order. I was given a e-cert, instead of crediting it back to my credit card. I called to see if it could be issued back to my credit card, but it never happened. I used the credit on another order for 3 items, of which I returned two. According to their "new" return policy. The adjusted price I pay after they allocate out the credit is the only amount that I get back. I paid a total of $77 for the new order ($58 credit, and $19 on credit card). I ended up keeping ~ $28 top and returned two items. So the amount I receive back after being charged shipping adjustment fee is $6. So I just paid $71 ($58 + $19-$6) for one bikini top.

I placed an order for two items for a wedding I was attending. I got rush shipping to ensure it would arrive on time and they assured me it would. Duties were paid and I continuously tracked my order and it NEVER left the border. Two months later it still at the border. I have chatted numerous times with Venus to ask about my order and eventually about a refund. The customer service rep said I would receive an email regarding a refund and details, however, two months (almost 3 months later) I still have not received an email, a refund, or my order. I am now questioning the whether this company is legit, or one of those scam companies you hear about. Not impressed.
I ordered $300.00 worth of their summer skirts only to find out I would not receive any of them. The Rep on the phone FAILED to tell me when she offered me their two day upgrade shipping special that it does not apply when using a PO Box. My order was shipped back to the company, no phone call or email asking if I wanted the items shipped to another address. Asked what happens to my order now, they told me the order would be sent back out but no guarantee I would get all my items for they would sell them to other customers, wrong answer. Customer Service Reps need to be re-trained for this was not my fault it was theirs.
I've been ordering clothes from Venus every month starting April of this year. So far the quality of the materials are good in relative to the price marked so I'm very satisfied. In fact I find their clothes better quality than the ones from Forever 21 or similar store in the mall.
Everything that I have ordered has been hit or miss, either with poor quality or sizing and one item that is still avalible in the catalog doesn't even look like it,( lace tunic) had no issues ever with shipping I just wish they had a store where you could actually go to look and try things on as I probably would buy more
First of all I waited over three weeks for it to arrive, the shipping cost was insane. I paid roughly $25 for the bikini top and $25 for the shipping (something I wouldn't normally do but so many people were recommending it and the website said 90% customer satisfaction, yet I can't find anywhere on their to place a review). It arrived and was way to big. US sizes are always bigger than AUS but because it goes by cup size I thought it would be alright. No. On top of that my first order went through and it was confirmed by the Venus employee I called that it had failed. I ordered again and confirmed it went through. Later the first order also confirmed no I'm going to have to wait for that order to arrive as well and return both of them! Can not stress enough that bikini shopping online has been the biggest mistake
I ordered the zip blouse and faux leather pants. The blouse is a show stopper. Everyone wanted to know where I purchases it. When I reveal it's from Venus they are shocked because like me they read the reviews but decided not to order. I always have to see for myself and so glad I did. I will continue to order from them. I am 5'51/2 and I weigh 145. I purchased a med in the blouse and a med in the pant. I hope this helps someone! :)
Got a Venus Credit Card what a mistake. Ordered placed on my account and charged to my credit card. When I discovered this called to be placed on hold and disconnected. Hours and months spent trying to resolve issue. If someone ordered product where did it get delivered give me proof it was delivered to my home. Never received an answer or proof. Ended up paying the bill so not to ruin my credit and get the credit from the bank that holds the credit card try to use and Venus tells me I owe them money. Try to reach them to discuss bank that holds the card gave me the credit still today no resolution on Venus's part. Horrible company but they sell nice bathing suits would not recommend dealing with them. You can get nice swim wear anywhere.
I ordered a bikini, cost me more than 50 dollars, I was really excited, the picture look really cute. Now really disappointed. Quality horrible, I ordered clothes from China for 5 dollars and that quality was excellent. Well, first time and last, never again, China is better cheaper and great quality. Don't buy venus
This is a scam. Venus said that my order was delivered by ups, but I never received my items. I will never order anything from this website. I tracked my package and ups said it was already delivered. Venus said its in on the way. This is a joke… Amazon is the best
Really cute clothes but awful quality! VERY cheap feel and clothes get destroyed after one wash cycle. A pity! Another problem: if you use the return shipping label they provide, they will charge you $6.95 for the label PLUS $4.99 for shipping! Essentially, they charge you TWICE ($12) to ship something back to them! I've never seen something like this!
Don't buy from this company. You don't get complete refund. They charged me label fee even though I did not use it for the returns. One return cost me 25 dollars. Do not buy if you are expecting to return the items you purchased.
I agree that in the past Venus was reliable and a credible business but now I am highly disappointed. I ordered two dresses, they shipped fast but when I received them they were both the wrong color. I ended up keeping one and mailing out the other for an exchange from Venus. After 3 weeks of waiting for my dress in the mail, Venus sent me an email saying that they shipped my dress to my billing address. This made me furious because it meant that I would not receive my package. I have no idea why they would send my dresses to my billing address after they were originally sent to my shipping address. The return was even made using my shipping address. Whatever the case I will never shop with them again.

I normally never had a problem until I ordered a Bathing suit and when I received it, it had blood stains from someone's period on them. When I told then I was so completely disgusted and disappointed no one even reached out. Like I said was no issue before but they lost me as a customer.
The first order I made, I was very happy with. Cute, quality clothing, got a lot of compliments. The orders after that were not so great. Clothing was cheaply made, didn't fit at all like it appeared in pictures, even though I ordered the right sizes. The final straw for me was when I put in an order and they sent me the wrong blouse. I sent them 2 emails to notify them and asked for them to send the right blouse and size that I ordered and never got a response back. I'm done with them.

I purchased a blouse online. It looked good on the website. To my disappointment when I received the blouse it was not what I expected. Poor quality clothing that's over priced! Never again will I buy from Venus!

I purchased over $212.00 worth of clothes from Venus. Some of the items were too see through and not as pictured so I decided to return. They gave me a discount of $50.00 since I purchased over $200.00. My total was roughly 162.00 with shipping and tax. Well when I returned my items they totaled up to $112. In my mind I was thinking they must divide the discount into each item of the return. It would be the most fair thing to do. I returned a dress, and two tops. So when I receive my return they completely deducted the whole discount to my return. Out of the $112 I am only receiving 50 dollars back! Complete rip off.Not only that but the clothes seem so cheap and see through nothing like it is pictured. I was sad when Victoria's secret stopped selling clothes and when I saw this company I thought they would provide just as great service but it is a joke.
I've bought multiple items from this company over the past few year's... from bras and underwear, to shoe's, to dresses... jeans and many tops! All have been of good quality! I've gotten many compliments on their clothing. I've never had any problems or issues with any of the clothes.
I had one mistake (on the companies side), I ordered a dress in a L and was sent a M. I immediately contacted the company and the correct item was sent to me overnight at no cost to me! I of course sent the wrong item back, with prepaid shipping.
I love this company! And will continue to order from them

Answer: I've been buying from Venus FOR YEARS(!) so I was so surprised at all the bad reviews. Yes, occasionally I've been unhappy with a purchase BUT it's rare; and yes, there was a couple of items that I found "cheap-looking" (but I'm super-careful to read the material description prior to purchase - sometimes you can just tell). Their sizing surprises me though... I'm usually a large in regular & a XL in juniors BUT I always wear a Medium in Venus clothing (5'1", 115 lbs, 36D) - I'm thinking that they cater to the "busty"? (Or maybe the clothes ARE made in China?) Who knows... don't care... their clothes are different from anywhere else & I always get compliments - especially from my husband! However, after 15 + yrs as a customer, I must admit I was unaware they offered free returns (good to know :), but happy I've only returned 2 or 3 items & didn't have any issues - re-packed (w/in 30 days), dropped at PO & rec'd credit on my CC. My ONLY complaint with Venus is the prices; the trick is to wait for a sale (and PS, there prices change every 24-72 hours - NOT kidding!) Everyone has an opinion... if YOU like their clothes, give them a try & form your own - you may just be missing out on fashions that'll look great on you!

Answer: The quality of these closes are horrible! I bought a sweatshirt and the large pocket on the front was down on crooked and the seams on both sides were very uneven. The $70 boots I bought were awful. They both said 7 1/2 but 1 didn't fit at all and they both had holes in the shoes.
Answer: I am a perfect size 8 in say an Old Navy sweater which makes me a M. I am a M with Venus I feel their sizes are way closer to being realistic than say Victoria Secret. Apparently at Victoria Secrets no one has arms or hips. I'm 5'5,135 lbs, size 8 in normal close yet if I pay alot of money for say a dress that dress could be a 6, like at Nordstroms, Yet if I went into say Forever 21 just to get a shirt/sweater/dress chances are I would purchase a Large because they cater to teens.
