UPS PUT MY FAMILY IN PHYSICAL DANGER! Worst company to work for! My fiance started working at UPS on Atlantic Ave. Raleigh, NC in September 2021. He stopped working there before the end of the year. Despite giving UPS his CURRENT address upon hire, they somehow used an OLD ADDRESS that he DID NOT provide them to a former residence that he has not lived at since 2020! We have a restraining order on the current resident at the OLD address and physically CANNOT get the W-2 but UPS refuses to send the W-2 without an employee ID that he does not have as he is no longer a UPS employee and UPS WIPED HIS INFORMATION OFF THE SYSTEM WITHIN 4 MONTHS OF HIM QUITTING and says they cannot provide him with the Employee ID number! They potentially put us in physical danger by sending his employment information to a dangerous person at an address he DID NOT PROVIDE TO THEM! If he was still working at UPS he would be in danger by the person knowing where he is employed and possibly going to his place of work and attacking him or worse! This is the WORST nightmare employment experience we have ever had! We are in contact with IRS and working on getting things straight but still have no resolution in sight!

I had a package that was supposed to be delivered on December 23rd or 24th ended up calling customer service and asking for a supervisor wl call her Karen so Karen decided she wanted to get on the phone immediately and come at me sideways so I provided her that same energy your job as a supervisor is to listen to the customer me diescalate if needed and find a resolution all she wanted to do was argue about where the package is or is not it wasn't at my door you guys deliver stuff to the wrong address all the time then she tells me it's been delivered by the Post Office and then she tells me she's not sure so I asked her can you just please file a claim for me because I got tired of listening to her attitude and she hung up on me So if you can't handle being in customer service maybe you should find another job

So my package is very personal and descriptive banking documentation to be sent to me from the United States to Canada. My bank in the United States says it should arrive at my doorstep on Tuesday today is Thursday so I asked the bank for the UPS tracking number they give it to me and I check and lo and behold it says delivered on Tuesday. So I called ups.com speak to a lady that doesn't know how to Turn up the volume on her headset once I'm able to hear her she states that even though the address was correct on the shipping label to my doorstep the package was delivered to the wrong address by the route driver. She goes on to state that instead of 72nd Ave. As my address the driver delivers to 12th Ave.? Meanwhile she says someone from UPS will call me within the hour to discuss my claim. One hour two hours three hours four hours goes by and no phone call I called back and get another customer service rep he seems to be a little bit more on the ball states to me that somebody will for sure call me back it is now eight hours later no return phone call no nothing. I called my bank and left a message told them to make sure toCancel and terminate all the vital information that was sent to me in the package and to reissue new documentation to be sent by another carrier. Where to go UPS thanks for the return phone calls thanks for screwing up my delivery no thank you will never use you again will tell all my friends and family to never use your services and I hope you go bankrupt.

UPS is a scam
March 24, 2023

Dear UPS Headquarters,

I'm applauded at the poor customer service in Cleveland (University Circle).
The UPS store is at ******* Mayfeld Rd Cleveland, Ohio *******, Store #2697. My name is Lee Carr, and I entered this location around 1130 am to send tires to a family member. There are no signs posted about a return policy, none posted on the walls or under the counter, to inform customers of the rules and policies of the company.
I paid seventy-seven dollars cash ($77.00) and an additional ($1150.00) on a credit card to send my tires to a family. I returned home and found my receipt was faded, and I could not see a tracking number or any of the vital information (i.e., tracking number)
Upon returning to the store, I requested my money back as I had changed my mind about sending the tires (I did not trust William #*******). William needed to be more informed and have more knowledge to help me or reassure me that my item would be reaching its destination.
William and I got into a heated verbal fight over returning my funds.

The problem is this; the store has no signs about a return, exchange, or refund policy, none posted on the walls or under the counter in front of the register. No signs are posted on the doors leading into the establishment or on walls behind the register.

You only get notified on the receipt after paying for an item return policy. How is this fair? It could be better company practice. Right now, my credit card is tied up with this transaction. William is refusing to return my seventy-seven dollars (cash).

I request a full refund as I have my tires. They were never shipped, both in cash and on my credit card.

All UPS stores should have signs posted on the door, by the register, and on walls behind the register. The store employees should state that there are no returns or exchanges before accepting payment.

I decided to switch to UPS after several costly problems with FedEx involving damage. On June 27,2016 I shipped a large package to New Jersey. It was in factory pack with pictures to validate the packaging; there is no way the item should have been damaged through simple shipping. When it arrived at the customer's residence, the box had been opened, the collector item Disney Big Fig had been removed and the chain to his watch broken, then put back in the box and delivered. The customer and I examined the evidence and concluded that an agent/employee/representative of UPS had in fact removed or cut through three strips of shipping tape and in a criminal act, damaged the product. It had been resealed with "one" piece of tape!

A claim was immediately made with UPS before the item left the customer's custody. UPS picked it up and did an "investigation" upon which they denied the claim immediately. This seems to be their pattern as well. I am fighting this denial since I am now stuck with a collector item that has lost all its value due to unlawful, criminal actions by the employees/agents/representatives of UPS. I have made an allegation of fraud which was dealt with by a phone call on a "Saturday" to my business at 8:36 a.m. (the business opens at 10:00 a.m.) with a return number stating they are not available on the weekends! At this writing, I still have not received legitimate response.

It is clear that UPS, a Union organization, does not feel it has to answer to its customers, is not a trustworthy or competent shipper. I strongly suggest you not trust your important shipments to this corporate beast. They are not good for small business.

I am very upset with UPS. I called them 3-4 days advance to hold a package for me at the drop off station when it arrives. Come to find out that package was delivered to the wrong address. I understand it was my fault to double check. But you would expect them to have your back. Now I lost out on the item due to it being irreplaceable. This was a Valentine's day gift for my wife and I'm unable to find that item due to me ordering the last pair of shoes. They really dropped the ball and I am PISSED. I requested them to be responsible for the cost of the shoes but they are not cooperating. I didn't get the women's name or the manager name due to me being upset. I will never in my life do business with this company. FedEx is way more reliable than UPS because they are very detailedon there delivery process. Below is the address where my package was delivered to. Someone dropped the ball and I demanded an answer on who it was. Was it the rep that took my request or was it the delivery person who didn't check the notes.

Multiple times I've had ups driver claim he attempted to deliver my package but they missed me. That's bull. I was always home. I have a small apartment so no way did I not hear a knock. You hear everything in my apartment. I've complained to customer service and they pretty much didn't care and blocked me from sending more emails because I told them they have drivers that lie and too lazy to actually walk to your apartment. They even tried to say once that it was a signature required package and it was not. Then they said it was for security of package to not leave at my door. I live inside a locked building that they have the code for to get in. Never once has there been a problem with packages here. It always seems to happen to my packages that are scheduled on a Friday. Hmmm I can't even tell them to deliver it to a closer location either without paying to be able to. You'd think the fact that I paid them to ship my product would at least include that courtesy. I have a lot of things shipped and so far I've been able to change about half of my shipments I get from various companies to other shippers. Usually fed ex so that's been a lot nicer and less stress. Some of my packages are needed within a certain time frame and I plan for it but still doesn't make it half the time. So now it's Friday and I have to wait till the end of the day Monday to drive way further then I need to as there is a ups store a block away from me. So this just gave me the incentive to start back up with changing the shipper with the remaining companies I order from. It's amazing that I pay them to deliver something and they don't hold up there end of the bargain. Their customer support is worthless too.

Previous review

I wish there's zero ratings!

I sent 2 luggages same day and 1 was delivered while the 2nd was with the status"out for delivery" for two days.

The 3rd day I was told it's missing and they're searching for it.It's been over 2 weeks no trace. Those guys opened my bag and realised the contents are worth over $6000 and decided to steal it, how can a company with such name not be trustworthy with valuables or able to trace who took lugagges out for deliveries 2 days in a row?

Pls tell UPS to return my bag
I called ups about my lost valuables and was asked to file my claims. I have sent an estimate of items i can remember in the luggage today 9/24/18. I'm Just updating the community

UPS deserves 0 stars!
February 21, 2022

This pathetic, unprofessional, sad excuse for a business, should not even be in business! I will never, ever do business with them again and be sure to let everyone I know and come in contact with to take their business elsewhere! They can NOT be trusted with your packages! They will never accept responsibility for any mishap on their behalf! They tossed, crashed and mutilated very expensive jars I was shipping. When approached, they forwarded me several times, and either forwarded me to a non-working number, or there was no answer! Finally, they refused to accept responsibility for how my jars were broken; by them! Tossed in the trash; by them! As if they were trash! No contact to me! No responsibility! No care for this customer at all! I was treated like garbage and not one person who I communicated with had any respect for me and my situation. As a reputable company, I should have been treated with respect and left feeling whole and given the opportunity to give them an honest, positive review of their company. In this day and age, this company should be looking to better themselves, not push customers away. After the fact, I read their reviews finding their rating to be 1.35! How pathetic! Surely after my review it'll be less. How embarrassing for this company! And through the grapevine have also heard how horrible they treat their employees. How they're belittled and degraded! No wonder why they can't keep good help! I only needed these two red flags! Hopefully you read this review and realize what you'll be putting yourself up against by using this company! Stay far away!

I ordered a package from Fashion Nova on 03/06/2020. I paid for overnight shipping which was an additional $19.99. They told me as long as I place my order before 1 pm, I will receive my package the next day. I ordered my items (Black Jumpsuit & Gold Studded Earrings) at 10:57:07 am. I got an email Saturday 03/07/2020 at 9:15 am stating that I have a delivery scheduled for that day. The driver of UPS put my order as delivered at 10:28 am, but there was no package delivered around my house at all. They even put that they left it at the front door. I have cameras that are on my porch and it was no signs of UPS on my porch not what so ever. I reported this immediately to UPS but no one has called me back. I've called several times and all they did was file a claim. No one checked with the driver, The store did not call me either. I asked several times for a supervisor, but no one has reached out to me yet. I contacted Fashion nova immediately to let them know whats going on. I am going to send in my Camera recordings to show there is no signs of a UPS driver dropping off a package in between 9:15 am & 10:30 am.

PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN USING UPS TO SHIP YOUR PACKAGES THEY ARE TRYING TO THROW THIS INCIDENT UNDER THE RUG!

Item bought on Amazon, May 9,2020, delivery expected Saturday 16 and signature was required.

Failed to deliver on Saturday. I'm ok with that. Next Monday was a holiday, it's Canada. Tuesday 19 driver tried delivering in the morning and I wasn't there then no success but that's ok again as Infonotice said next day and it's all good.

Next day, 20, driver didn't even try. Weird. Thursday, May 21 driver made a vicious decision: He supposedly went to my address at the morning again, 11:38am, and did two contradictory things:

1) officially "delivered" my laptop with a signature from someone called "ADL" that is not me or nobody else that I know.

2) delivered an Infonotice written "1460 Queen", an Access Point at Vina Pharmacy.

Isn't a felony to sign documents as if you were somebody else that don't even know you? Look what Amazon says on my order:

"Delivered 21 May
Package was handed *TO RESIDENT* Signed by: ADL"

Let me tell you something. ADL is your driver. What kind of slur is this anyway? You're "ADL", not me.

Replacement is out of stock, so now I may be waiting until JULY because UPS driver was having a good time with his own creativity.

Oh, also this: Michael George, UPS Customer Care Representative said on May 21,2020, 5:28 pm: "Our records show that your package has been delivered to an address other [etc.]. Can you please confirm if you have received your package?"

I said NO, and that it was not at "1460 Queen" either. Michael then became a monk practising his silence duties I think.

Please, Amazon, stop feeding this monster called UPS - THE UPSCAM.

Reporting UPS to Watchdog, please join!

I appeal to all compaining about UPS to sent their stories to Watchdog watchdog@ bbc.co.uk so they get investigated, named and shamed. The more stories get sent, the bigger the chances of BBC taking it on. I have sent mine today.

After 4,5 months I lost hope of ever being reunited with my parcel. It was sent from UK to Spain, as I am relocating due to Brexit. It was personal items, UPS were useless with advising how to get personal items through customs without tax/customs charge. I refused to be fleeced for no reason and requested the parcel to be sent to UK. Have been calling, e-mailing, Facebooking, tweeting, e-mailing CEO every week since then asking where my parcel is and when will I get it back. I was told it was being released from customs, it is on the way, it is waiting for space on return transport, and last week I was told it was declared "abandoned". Absolute joke!

So please, please, please report to Watchdog on watchdog@ bbc.co.uk.

I shipped & insured stoneware dishes to my sister through UPS. I used a brand new heavy duty box and wrapped each piece individually with tons of bubble wrap. I paid additional money to insure them and wrote fragile all over the box in big black letters. When my sister received the box, the box was split open on an edge and all the lower corners of the box were crushed. Needless to say, there were several broken dishes! I then filed a claim with UPS and they told me that they would send a representative out to my sister's home to inspect it. She waited all day for them at her home (along with 4 other people) & no one from UPS ever showed up. Then UPS lied about it and said that they had been to my sister's home, but that there was no response. Obviously the UPS representative was not out doing their job that day! UPS then asked for pictures of the damage instead, so my sister emailed 12 pictures of the damage to the claims department to show the abuse on the box and the broken dishes. Apparently that wasn't good enough! UPS doesn't bother telling you when you're purchasing additional insurance, what the UPS requirements are if you're going to file a claim. They require many pictures, including a picture of the damaged items inside the box before removing them. Now who in the world would take pictures of the broken pieces in the box before removing the items first? Then they wanted additional pictures of all the wrapping & stuffing used in the box and their request list went on & on and did for almost 3 weeks in my case. It was never enough - there was no pleasing them! Then finally after 19 days, they told me that the damage wasn't their fault (even though the box was clearly trashed by them) and that my request for compensation had been denied. Anyway, just a heads up! Please do not waste your money on additional insurance! It means absolutely nothing and the time spent fighting them is just not worth it! I will never use UPS again!
