Every experience I've had the UPS customer service has been the worst! Every time is worse then the last!
They have one job, deliver package to right address and they can't even do that.
And you can't even talk to a real person when you call
Thy are the worst at losing packages! Had a delivery and a return in the same week and both packages were lost.
UPS is the best! My deliveries are consistently great. I highly recommend UPS. I will continue to support UPS.
3 emails on three different days to tell us to pick up our package. Three days of going to pick it up until it was actually there.
In the past several months, UPS has misplaced or lost a number of our packages.
I now DO NOT BUY ONLINE from companies that use UPS for shipment. However, I made a mistake, bought something on Costco.com and have wasted hours of my time trying to find a package that was marked delivered but was not delivered.
I do not like thieves, and I do not like liars.
The driver did not deliver the package at the stated time. We know because we were on our front porch at that time and there was no UPS truck and no package. We also asked some of the neighbors and none of them saw a UPS truck during the time that the package was allegedly delivered.
I spent hours on the phone on Saturday evening, and even cancelled our dinner plans in an attempt to resolve the issue. I spoke with a supervisor by the name Joy who lied to me.
First of all, she said that the driver is under investigation and so is the location of my package. That was a lie because I found out on Monday that no case was even opened.
She told me that she or another supervisor will contact me on Monday with an update - another lie. No one called and there was no update because there was no case.
The third lie was that she will inform Costco that the package was not delivered. She never did.
Finally, I was told that UPS has contacted Costco, which of course was a lie, since Costco has not gotten any communication from UPS regarding the package.
The fact that there is no way for a customer to escalate issues such as this occurrence and the fact that the only recourse is to interact with a dummy on the website or if one is lucky and tenacious enough with a very reluctant agent on the phone (after hours of waiting) is not acceptable.
I paid to have three small packages (with prepaid labels) picked up today between noon & 4pm. My car is in the shop so I needed UPS to come to me (first time I've tried the service). Two UPS trucks (that came but then immediately drove off) and four difficult phones calls later, more if you include the multiple internal transfers, still no pickup.
I stopped counting the number of contradictions & lies I'd been told when it got to seven or so. I can forgive a bit of incompetence, mistakes happen, but I was shocked by the seeming culture of lying at UPS to deny responsibility or fob off what they had agreed/were paid to do. How hard is it to pick up packages, especially when you're UPS?!
The last time I felt tempted to cry on the phone with a business, from the sheer frustration & insanity of trying this hard to get what I paid for, ad infinitum, was in 2004. It was that... special.
In the end I requested a refund (even in that they tried to lie, saying I hadn't been charged yet when I very clearly had been). I had an Uber take me to my local UPS & back. Even though that cost more than what UPS charged for a (non) pickup, I was appreciative of the quick, hassle-free experience (I had spent an hour or so on the phone with UPS today in addition to physically chasing a leaving UPS truck).
I will never attempt to use UPS Pickup service ever again.
I was surprised by the level of ineptitude & willingness to lie within the company. My local UPS store (where I drop off packages) is reliable & friendly. UPS shipping (after boxes are in their system) has been reliable for me overall -- I can forgive the occasional box being delayed by a day compared to their original estimate.
What I can't forgive is today's comedic tragedy & exposure to the business culture of UPS. If you can't deliver on a service --> don't offer it. If you mess up --> don't lie. And try not to compound the already bad situation by messing up more then lying even more.
Poor customer service, Poor service. I advise you to use FedEx or usps to receive or send packages. Bad Bad
Don't use UPS services, waste your time and your money. Bad services and unprofessional. I never used UPS services anymore
Twice the driver claims attempted a delivery. Home both times. Wanted me to come get it. I am disabled.
Worst customer service I've ever dealt with received. Ship anything again UPS or use fed ex going forward.
Was given 3 slots for delivery. No one ever showed up. Their customer service is waste of time since they cant provide any information
Their tracking system is not working correctly so you have to wait at home all day long for take your packet
Twice in a few months shipments were lost or stolen, and filing claims literally impossible. Spent 2 hours both times but to no avail.
My computer was handle with care from NY to Oregon great service. I had a tracking all the way..."...
Terrible website and customer services can not help with my signing in or fix any of the technical problems I've had for over a year now!
Their service sucks. They throw your packages around. Even ones marked fragile. I do not recommend using!
Answer: Because there is ZERO accountability at UPS and they dont care about customers or having business ethics. Answer my question if you can.(Click on my profile and see it)
Answer: Because the management orders the people under them to do it, so it looks good on UPS. And most customers dont bother to complain or write reviews.
Answer: It's driver preference and they don't care. I complained about this. I'm constantly getting medical supplies delivered and they don't care
Answer: Because they don't care! For the life of me, I can't understand why anybody uses them as a delivery service.
Answer: Because they are a very poorly run company. It doesn't even run its offices domestically well, as you can see by the overwhelmingly negative reviews on this site. Use any shipping service over UPS.
Answer: UPS is a disgrace. They are a disregardful and careless business who lies to their costumers. Absolutely will not support ever again!
Answer: Sadly, today the term racist is used to define almost anyone that we disagree with. I am not a happy customer of the ups store but if you are getting death threats you need to contact the police. It is illegal in America to make death threats against anyone no matter their race, creed or color. That is the beauty of living in United States of America. You do not need to wait for a company to file charges against another human being who is threatening your life. You just need to take the appropriate, legal action against that person, good luck!
