WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AFTER SALES
This is the third time I have had my flight cancelled or changed! I tried to book again with my 'future flight credit' as they will not give a cash refund EVER, and now I can't use it, because apparently I originally booked my first flight (2 years ago) on a different economy class!?! Surely money is money and a credit is a credit, even if I was booking first class its money off no? I got passed to person to person on their hard to find customer service number to eventually find out if I bought outright is was going to cost £200 less than if I used credit. So therefore loosing £200 of my £590 credit. So my credit that I have spent with them is now only worth £390 because their computer systems can't keep up? Terrible customer service and computer systems and just generally frustrating and unsympathetic. I hate this airline.

They suck!

Totally inefficient airline! They returned to the gate due to a mechanical problem. Said one hour. Eight hours later we are still waiting. Can't believe they couldn't assess in an hour and give us an accurate timeframe. Every hour they add another hour that we have to sit here. They should know whether it is a big job. They should get a different plane. They should let us know what is going on! We are at our home airport and could have gone home and returned. My husband went to talk to representative at gate and she just walked away.

United cancelled our connecting flight from Newark to Nice, France on a moment's notice due to "mechanical issues". Their customer service was terrible- stood in line for 3+ hours only to be told the people at the airport have no authority to help you in any way- can't issue refunds, theirs options for rebooking are laughable (yes, let's travel from NY to San Francisco to maybe get on a waitlist for a flight to France! WTF!), and on top of that they are incompetent in not even being able to issue a valid taxi voucher or booking you into a hotel on Staten Island in the middle of nowhere only to find out at 2 am that hotel has no rooms available. Impossible to get a hold of them to issue any sort of refund and we had ti pay out of pocket to get back home to Chicago and book a flight through another airline to France losing 2 days in the process. United should be held liable from a criminal perspective For their actions- it's deceptive marketing at best and outright fraud at worst. Stay away from United at all costs!

So I'm trying to book an UBER from home to Newark Airport (the horror of Newark AP is bad enough!) but UBER not surprisingly asks for the departure Terminal. Trying to find that on the UNITED website or phone app is an exercise in futility. Ah, but don't worry UNITED has junked up the website and App with so much BS it's near impossible to even find your flight info!

Purchased the ticket from United.com and then they do unticketed email. Then they are charging the ticket double the cost.

From google flights they attracted you to have cheaper price, but the flight didnt went through and the flight cost is increase. Never buy from their email. So untrustworthy. They said the ticket is spending and just fall off.

Customer Service is Lost, F American Airlines

United Airlines cancelled my flight to El Paso Texas. I was going to a family wedding, my wife and son were already there. They said because their employees were overworked.

The return flight, I just needed myself removed and my ticket refunded.

They would not refund my ticket after cancelling my flight. I would not even be there to take the return flight because they cancelled my flight to get there.

The agents working the desks at the airport went to hide for 30+ minutes before they sent out the final cancelation email notice like a bunch of bi+ches.

No one reached out in any way to offer another flight or how to get there.

What a piece of shi+ airline.

They're working their employees like dogs. It's because they lost a ton of great employees because they tried to force vaccinate them and making them wear masks.

My father paid around $333 for a trip for San Diego to San Fransico back on June 5 2022 for a wedding of my middle brother. He missed his flight due to his medical condition and United refuses to return any money to him.

Poor customer service

Currently I'm at Dulles airport in Washington DC. We missed the flight and the customer service reps handled the situation poorly. After 3 hrs wait, I was given lies and a $100 flight voucher. Not worth being at the airport from 10 pm to 8 am the next day. Not recommended airline

Booked a trip from Denver to Nashville with my wife. Called and was told seats are not assigned and we have to pick them. If the seats are not together then we have to pay to upgrade our seats just to sit side by side (priced from 17 each to 100 each). WTF, I bought the tickets at the same time. What if I was going with my 10 year old?

They o not honor cancellations, refunds and unable to get a hold of anyone to help. Don't spend your money with these losers one reason why their customer satisfaction is so low. Two months before the flight was schedule and they lie about refund want to issue credit instead bunch of crooks

They are worst airline and worst customer service. They rip off people. Their call centre overseas, English and understanding is very difficult. No one has any clue, how flights are operated and their goal is make customers vulnerable and helpless. They dig out money from your pocket and In return they don't take responsibility to help the customer

Horrible service

4 minors ages 5-11 NOT seated with the 2 adults also on the same plane. Not even close by! Even the children are in 2 separate rows! Tried to resolved the day before and was told it would be resolved at the airport. At the airport the agent said she couldn't help us because she had other issues to resolve- they were overbooked with 11 passengers confirmed above capacity! Minors flying with their adults should take priority! The agent wouldn't even ask the single passengers flying next to my children to switch seats with the other adults we had on the plane. Parents be ware!

My flight from MSN boarded at 6am so I arrived 1.5hrs early. Every airline with similar or later first departures was there to check bags except United. When asked they said UA would show up when they showed up, probably around 6. With their policy of 1 personal item (ie purse or backpack) I had to check a bag even though the flight in with Delta had no issue with my small carry on bag. To then have to run through security to make my flight I arrived for well before the check-in staff should be embarrassing for United.

Just the Worst

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I had a trip booked for my Bachelorette party. Was flying as 8 girls from Newark airport to Savannah airport. The night before our trip after 10pm, we all receive messages saying our flight has been canceled. I called United immediately. I was on the phone for over 2 hours, I was stressed, I was crying, I was trying to re-book 8 girls to Savannah and some had already fallen asleep so I wasn't able to contact them to discuss options. They told me there were ZERO options to fly us out that day from any NYC airport. After 2 hours on the phone, the absolute best we could do was have a connecting flight from Philadelphia to Washington DC to Savannah. I live 20 minutes from Newark airport (a $30 uber ride), the 2 hour uber ride to Philadelphia airport was over $200. Our flight out of Philadelphia was delayed, and we missed the connection in DC. Ultimately, a 2 hour flight from Newark to Savannah turned into a 17 hour total trip time. We could have driven to Savannah in way less time. On the phone call, I felt forced into making the decision while there were no good options. I kept asking for compensation options because of the insane delay & increased cost to get to Philadelphia. I was told I can file a complaint with Customer Care after I book. When I returned from my trip, I filed a complaint and was told that because I accepted a different flight, there was nothing they could do. This airline is a scam, they do not have customers interests in heart. I would rather fly Spirit than United.

Highly Disappointed!

They changed the flights we had booked. The first flight was from 5 am to 7 am from New York but did not have enough staff to accommodate the number of reservations. The lady told us we wouldn't make our flight but still checked our luggage. Thus rather than making another flight booking with United, I made a flight reservation of Delta airline ( the very next flight to my destination) through a travel agent, TripiTravels. They offered last-minute flight tickets at cheaper prices and also offered deals for extra savings. If you guys also face the same situation or want to book cheap last-minute flights I would suggest you call *******869.
