My ride was standard good per Uber rules etc, however the driver Muhammad! This guy reports he found my phone i dropped in the back seat, then says to corporate its not mine as I fully characterize my busted screen, color, make, and model. Not to mention this is my company phone so I really need that. This guy wont call back or return it, worst of all this guy only lives two streets over, following my phone on GPS all day n night for 3 nights! I use to live and swear up and down by Uber but it only takes "One Bad Apple" to spoil the bunch. Whats up Lyft?! Looking might y fine right now!
Driver got lost. Ended up going down a farm track totally unsuitable for his vehicle.
It was obvious from the route map after something had gone wrong. Obvious from the time taken for the journey. Obvious from the 33%higher charge than the estimate. Despite all this uber refuse to give any refund. Never mind compensate me for their driver taking me on an unsafe side trip. I have requested someone at a higher level to contact twice now but just get ignored.
I had a driver who blasted music loud. Had lyrics with "$#*! " and ""$#*!" In it. His driving was erratic. Scariest experience ever and offensive. On top of that, they must know their service sucks. You cannot find any support number to speak to a person in customer service. Good luck Uber. You're on your way towards going out of business. Sad that you would scam people this way. And take advantage of the elderly passenger to make a profit. You disgust me.
I had an issue with two Uber rides recently, and contacted customer service within minutes for assistance. They replied that they simply can't help me, and then never responded again. There is no contact number as well; such an unacceptable way to treat loyal and patient customers. Very disappointed in this experience after years of using Uber with no prior requests for help.
Do NOT use Uber! They do not supervise their drivers as I have found out! Booked a ride in advance. Half an hour before pickup "Michael " texts to say that he's early- there at 10 instead of 10:30. Great, I say, I'm done early. Give him my description and head outside. No word. Text him again after 10, then 20 then 30 minutes. No reply. At 10:35 I'm notified that he has cancelled the trip, and a $25 charge shows up on my credit card account implying that I was the one that cancelled the trip. What's even stranger is that because I have a photo of the guy, I could swear I saw him driving around the doctor's office building where I was. Truly strange and creepy looking guy. We travel quite a bit and used Uber always. It was so easy, fast pick up, clean cars, nice drivers, roomy cars, some had amenities like hard candy, and courteous drivers. Right now three of us are crammed in a small car listening to the drivers personal conversation. We waited 10 minutes for him even though the app said three minutes away. Yesterday from the airport we were listening to the drivers music which was load and not appropriate for my son. It was loud and w asked her to shut if off but she just turned it down. Then I would crack my window and she kept shutting it. Is it NYC Uber or is it like this everywhere? One more try maybe but then back to yellow cabs.
Uber makes riders aware of high rates on Days with demands. It doesn't have flat rates like some taxis and most drivers know what they're doing. If a normal fare of $20 is suddenly $160, it's because of demand to use the service. Taxis gouge rates on New Years Eve and other major holidays too.
Uber USED to be a good option. I cannot believe I spent $43.00, which is an entire tank of gas to travel less than 2 miles, plus the driver went down a one way and almost got into a second accident. I'll only use if I absolutely have to.
I loved Uber when I first started in February of this year since then. But since then, I have been so annoyed. The maps are not accurate, leaving u to appear incompetent to customers. Not to mention I have wasted countless hours in areas that do not have Uber, and was given false information from the reps. Such as; Dublin Ga & Sandersville Ga. I also no longer get any Quest. And spend in gas the same amount I make. Ugh. Plus I have been in this area Georgia for over a month and they keep sending me Orlando promotions. Can't wait for the new companies that are coming out with food delivery.
I've heard and read plenty of complaints against Uber. Personally I haven't experienced any serious issues, and the minor ones I encounter are usually resolved promptly. That aside, Uber remains one of my favorite apps ever. The convenience it provides is heavenly.
I think I summed it up in my title. I like the service, the safety drive insurance policy makes you feel really confident, but the rates. I mean you are not being exposed by bad customer service or potential dangers of driving a cab, but still the idea of Uber was to get a lower rate than a taxi ride, right?
A driver named Andrew scammed me last night. I ordered him for a ride and he asked me for the pin in chat, after i gave it to him he ignored me, blocked my number, and talked as if he picked me up and we were on our way to my destination, as i day here at the pickup point waiting for him. I was charged $68 for a ride i never got. I then read that you shouldn't give the pin to the driver until you're in the car, well thanks for letting me know after the fact, Uber! This driver drives a grey Toyota Camry LIC plate 7NTF635 in the Clairemont area and he's got a 4.95 rating even though he scams his riders. BEWARE of him, Uber will not help you! I have driven for them, delivered for them, i have been driven by them, and I've had deliveries from them. Every single incident with them has been brought with anguish and disappointment. While trying to provide my husband with something delicious while he was dying in hospice I ordered from them twice both times the orders were wrong. I never received the money I earned while driving for them. On vacation we tried to use an Uber, they charged me four different charges for the same fare then I couldn't get my money back. Because of the multiple charges my bank blocked my card... Great thing to happen on vacay. I hope I never have to deal with this company again
I deleted my Uber platforms tonight and wanted to share my experience after driving for 10 years with Uber. Tonight, I was transferred 7x to address one issue, as there wasn't a Manager to address what the CSR's could not. I have received numerous Walmart order requests to find that the store is closed. After reporting this issue again with Uber on 07/20/2024 at 1:14pm, Anne stated this issue has been reported by drivers before and Uber has no control over the Walmart orders sent on THE UBER app... Uber knowingly takes advantage of their employees from instances like this one, or sending out delivery ride requests for less than $0.25 a mile. Daily, I have $2.00 delivery requests for over 20 miles of driving. If I decline the request, my acceptance and cancellation percentages get docked. This type of business preys on their employees to pick up their slack, fair warning. Uber doesn't have to listen to Drivers, it's proven tonight but someone online will see and can avoid the experience I've had. Something can be done to be better, always. Mine is parting ways with your company

See, when you RESERVE a ride, table at a restaurant, birthday or anniversary party venue, etc. THE BUSINESS IS EXPECTED TO HONOR THAT. IF SOMETHING COMES UP, THEN IT IS THEIR RESPONSIBILITY AS A BUSINESS, TO NOTIFY YOU SO THAT YOU CAN MAKE OTHER PLANS. THE PERSON SHOULD NOT HAVE TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT WHAT HAPPENED. EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW WHAT THEY DID. BTW, I HAVE SCREENSHOTS OF THE CONFIRMATION THAT PAYMENT WAS ACCEPTED, PAYMENT TAKEN FROM CARD, AND OF THEIR ALL THE SUDDEN CANCELLATION.

On 29/06/2024 i booked my ride from my house to BKC Sofitel.and it was all normal till I reached to my destination.the moment I asked my driver how much do I have to pay you as I always prefer to make payment in cash...he said it is already paid in advance & I was shocked because I or anyone else never paid for my trip...& I checked my phone.it was showing INR 594.00 FOR THAT trip.so I told him that it is a mistake from your end you please take money as it is unpaid & I showed the honesty...and next what happened to me is very shocking. After 2 days when I tried booking my ride.it is showing you haven't paid for the last trip.clear your outstanding.so basically I. Can't book my ride until I pay again which I have already paid the driver (Ganpat)
I tried to contact him & spoken to him he got agree to send the amount back via GPay on that call & now he neither sent me the money back nor he is receiving my call...this is fraud.
UBER can you please look after your drivers? How can they cheat your customers like this.
Sharing that driver's number here so anyone else can't be at the same place where I m today & of course if UBER can reach out to that guy & show some loyalty to the customer.

Every day I will get an order maybe 40 minutes customer would reduce the tip after I delivered the food. They will not compensate you for it. I had to Deactivate my account for that. We don't work for no compensation.
The driver has 3 air freshener in the car and it's overwhelming so I say I can't handle it and need to open the window and why does he feel it's acceptable when 1/3 people are sensitive to artificial fragrances to have 3 air freshener. The driver immediately started glaring back at me, with no response, and then accelerated to beyond the speed limit, making aggressive unnecessary illegal lane changes more than once per minute despite driving on the same strait road for 10 minutes. I filed a safety concern but all they did was refund me the trip. I told them that driver needs to be removed from the service he violated the law and scared me. They just repeated the statement multiple times that they have refunded the cost of the trip. I will never ride Uber again and you shouldn't either. They allow drivers to violate the road laws and drive unsafely and provide a literally fearful customer experience.
They charged me for a trip i didn't get.the driver said here but he wasnt.they said will refund but never.wont use. Complained to gov.co.that take taxi complaints.a driver said its a trick of the trade they earn money by u cancelling as u can't call an other uber till u cancell the one that didn't turn up. I was never given a credit for $5 bucks after spending 20.99. No one seems to have any resolution. I will dispute this with my bank. This company is wrong on so many levels. The food is not safe to eat.
