Twitter Reviews Summary

The company, formerly known as Twitter, has garnered significant criticism regarding its customer service and platform management. Customers frequently report issues with account access, lack of responsive support, and perceived bias in content moderation. Many express frustration over automated responses and difficulty in resolving issues, leading to a sense of abandonment. Conversely, some users appreciate the platform's potential for engagement, although this sentiment is waning. Overall, the reputation is marred by concerns over ineffective customer service and a perceived decline in the quality of discourse, prompting many to consider alternative social media platforms.

God forbid you make a comment against their party, or anyone in their "protected" list. Will get you banned or your account suspended for a few days, or disabled. DO NOT GIVE YOUR PHONE NUMBER, if these people are censoring many for speaking the truth, who knows what else they are capable of with your real information. FREEDOM of SPEECH DOES NOT EXIST on Twitter. Only the PROPAGANDA they wish to push, and for you to swallow... in my experience this is exactly what happens in COMMUNIST/MARXISTS countries. BEWARE OF THIS SITE. - Anyone who dares to push against their narrative and liberal ideals, gets silenced, banned. - So much about their "tolerance",,,, is all BS.

I have cancelled everything related to Twitter as has my family and friends. We love this country and do not condone socialism or communism. This country is FREE! And will stay that way as long as there are Patriots here!

I was suspended for literally nothing, and I suspect it's because I complained that they do nothing about transphobia. I had a look at the guy who runs *******@support team (Donald Hicks) on various socials - he was boasting in a post about the number of accounts they've deleted... so clearly they're trying to just hit targets.

Twitter now suspends any accounts which question or counter the mainstream "coronavirus pandemic" narrative. After 11 years on Twitter, I found my account indefinitely suspended, with requests for further information ignored. I can only guess it had something to do with my previous couple of posts questioning the veracity of the mainstream "coronavirus pandemic" story. Twitter seems to be violating its own guidelines on suppressing or augmenting an opinion unfairly. If you believe you have freedom of speech, I suggest you look into Twitter and see how far it goes.

Blocked by BOTS
June 3, 2020

I was blocked without explanation and, was advised during login that I would be allowed back in if I relinquished my celephone information.
I refused to do so and appealed my suspension only find out that my account had been identified as one of many supposedly "... automated spam Twitter accounts..." and although my account was unblocked, I resented being handled by a computer capable of making mistakes that happen to target me as a potential computer?
In August 2020 I will celebrate a year without twitter and I'm still looking for a social media with a human touch that resists the tendency to judge anyone that thinks outside the box as a threat.
May come back to twitter but...

Twitter is worst
May 31, 2020

Twitter is holding account hostage. I haven't used long ago. They send a bogus suspending account. Worst site ever with lack of support. Scam site that holds your account and cannot deactivate. They never send me a dumb suspend account message or nothing.

Not That Great

Twitter was fun until they started shadow banning and censoring people. I have basically quit using the service all together because there are much better options available.

Twitter has developed the annoying habit of dropping multi-part tweets. They offer the capability, and attempt to maintain reading order of the resulting multi-part tweet, but then can randomly fail to post any/all of the individual component tweets.

And just like facebook, instagram, and other "social media" service providers, they don't really offer any meaningful technical support. In fact, I am not certain Twitter even provides a way to report problems... even if there is, finding it and accssing it would require hours, assuming THAT feature worked at all.

So, you get what they feel like giving you, in this case (much like facebook and instagram) a defect-ridden joke service.

No use trying to use the snazzy feature their staff invested so much time/effort in designing/implementing, it doesn't work. I will have to construct tweets the old-fashioned way: use a separate text editor, post them one at a time, in reverse order (so they are fed in reading order), and verify that each has become available before posting the next.

Hard to login cuz they are always labeling you a hacker. Cannot use proxies, they want to ID you an profile you. Maybe ot worth the time bothering with this site. Guess they have no way of reliably telling who is legitimate user. Makes it very hard to use it. Sitejabber search mechanism does not work, cannot search for companies without the help of a search engine.

I created an account there to be able to enter a give away contest. But not even 5 minutes after account creation, they locked my account. They refused to allow me to unlock it with out a phone number. (Despite being told things when I sign on that submitting information like things like your phone number was optional...) I contacted twitter staff for help. But was ignored. And soon afterward asked them to just delete the account. But they refused and I am to this day being spam with notices and alerts from their site. Despite the fact I can't log in.

And oh yeah. On a side note. I found out that If I was able to actually be able to enter that contest. I would have won because I had the right answer...

Awesome Social Experience

Used daily for 2+ years
Twitter gives me up-to-date news around the world from sports to politics. I love it!

Pros
Using Twitter over the years has been a very wonderful experience for me. The user experience is great, the layout is cool and superb updates keep rolling in.

Cons
It's hard to keep track of tweets and one can easily get drowned in the ever increase of tweets coming in per seconds.
