I picked out a pic of tulips and hyacinths in pale pink and deep blue. They sent a an arrangement of mauve roses (recipient does not like roses). When I complained, they said "we are allowed to make substitutions." Maybe, but they should have stuck with the same vibe and colors. They refused to send a replacement.
Flowers for my Cousin's funeral never arrived. (Ordered yesterday.) When I called the young lady said, "Oh, this is sales only; you need to email them your concerns." Now we find all the terrible reviews... Taking advantage of grieving families!

I ordered fresh flowers for my daughter to be delivered on her birthday.
I live out of state, when I checked in on her birthday, they "had not been delivered yet."
3 days later I remembered to ask if she liked her flowers, she said they never arrived.
I just called Troys Flowers and they never even tried to deliver them and gave some weak excuse that $14.99 delivery fee was not enough and they should have charged $30 when taking the order! Seriously?
Why did they not bother to contact me and tell me they couldn't deliver and needed more money? Instead they took my credit card, charged for flowers and 14.99 delivery fee and did NOT do a thing, neither contact me or my daughter or deliver flowers...
SO disappointing, my daughters birthday is passed and I am so irritated!
DONT pay good money to these scammers, don't waste your time or money.
I ordered my flowers on monday july 29th, to be delivered on Friday, Aug 2nd, for a birthday party...
I even called to confirm on the day of delivery, and was given a vague explanation of how my flowers might reach their destination by sometime that night... I believe I was lied to and that they knew the delivery wouldn't be made... not even offered a discount either! Flower arrangement was 100 bucks.
I received an email in the morning following up that a delivery was not made?
I was told that it would reach it's destination on the following monday, or that I could get a refund?...
This is time sensitive obviously and horrible!
The person on the phone (who is either the owner or the manager) even had an attitude about it!

Not cool. I've been calling for an hour on and off. Every time someone answered the phone, they placed me on hold immediately. Then I was disconnected. I placed this order first thing this morning. It is my anniversary. My wife had a bad day. Flowers were not delivered. Bad way to do business. Only 1 star so this would even show up.
Was sending flowers to my uncle who has cancer. Order was placed on 5/4. As of 5/8. Still no flowers delivered. Called and was told due to Mother's Day there would be an additional $20 fee, when they were already charged a 15.00 delivery fee. They claimed to have sent an email and waiting for conformation - NOT! I check email daily! Will NEVER use their services again!
This rating should be a negative 10! So many comments this morning of Mother's Day flowers that we're never delivered! I'm in that boat! This is not a locally owned/family operated business! You get a confirmation email with the date of your requested delivery and then no flowers show up. Don't trust anything these idiots tell you, don't waste your time and money on these people or you'll be disappointed followed by lame excuses for their lack of performance!
When I called them the next day..."we apologize but we closed early so will give you refund"
Order was placed at 12 pm ie that's really early!
And they never called of course to say, sorry we won't be able to fill your order.

A group of my friends and I attempted to send flowers to another friends family because her mother was dying of cancer. So now all the money we put together is gone and this person has since passed. Apparently we never got a confirmation message either. Full blown scam. I just hope that these messages reach other people before they end up in the same situation!
And I hope if you are at all affiliated with this site you realize that you are actually hurting people. You took our opportunity to comfort a sick person. How dare you?
The orders are taken by people from their homes, I heard kids in the back ground. They don't even know what they are sending. The flowers never arrived. It is impossible to contact a real person for help. Wish I had seen this website before I ordered! Worst place ever!
I ordered flowers for my daughter in law, they never arrived. I called the number on the website, 1-*******160 no one ever answers! I sent email and no response! If you want to send flowers do NOT order with this company! I looked on the BBB website after my order was never delivered, Troys Florist has multiple as in LOTS of complaints against them. Read before you give them your credit info and save yourself the trouble of being the next victim! I have contacted my credit card company, they issued me a full refund and the fraud dept is going after them! I've attached a photo of the flowers I ordered and never received.
28 hours after ordering the flower arrangement they finally notified me that what I had ordered would actually be $25.00 more than what was stated on their website. They did not offer anything except either a full refund for which I had already paid or that I could call them with my credit card number so they could bill me the additional $25.00! This was a sympathy arrangement and timeliness is very important in situations like this. DO NOT work with these people as they will not work with you, the paying customer.
What I ordered and what was delivered were very different. They have zero communication. They don't answer their phone or emails. It appears to be a local Orange County florist but the charges show up somewhere in Ohio.
They also completely messed up the card with the flowers.
Called in a order on Wednesday for the next day delivery.( the worst experience ever calling in the order it took 40 minutes to place) and mid-day the next day(Thursday) they emailed me to tell me they had a problem with delivery driver. I told them they should deliver it their self because they took my $74.88 out immediately after order was placed. So on late Thursday afternoon they said they were going to give me a full refund, but that would take 5-7 days. I'm beyond furious! Not good business practices! I've run a business before, this place is completely unprofessional! Terrible Florist!
Exact same issue everyone else is saying. They just deliver whatever they have on hand. See pictures below of what I ordered (the fall color arrangement) and what was delivered (no clue how to describe this hodge podge of leftover flowers). On top of this they advertise "same day delivery" - which is a lie. My flowers were late.

They say they will deliver same day. They don't provide any tracking or updates. You get a confirmation email that they got your money. But when will the recipient get their flowers? I called to find out how I will receive updates and the woman on the phone says "We don't offer that." What the hell company doesn't offer that!? Garbage company. Filing claim.
Ordered flowers for a friends birthday. Not only did they NOT deliver, I had to call them to find out that the order was cancelled because I didn't spend a minimum of $89 which that disclaimer is no where on their site. Now waiting for my refund.
I ordered an arrangement for my invalid brother for Christmas. On 12/20, I got an e-mail saying they could not fill the order and a refund would be issued. On 1/22 I discovered credit was not received. I sent a request to Troy's. They answered back very curtly that a refund had been issued and should be received in 5-7 business days. It has already been over a month! No offer to check into it, in fact they said there is nothing they can do. Am disputing charge with credit card company.
This is probably not even a real florist, but it's definitely not located in the cities it claims to be online. The phone number rings, and when they charge your card but the flowers never show up, their online response is "I am so sorry that you were not notified sooner about this. We contacted every florist but they all required more money to do this order. Unfortunately, we would need $20 more for the arrangement. We didn't want to ask you for that. You will be refunded the full amount if you do not wish to proceed. If you do still want the arrangement please call us with your credit card information again so we can process that for you." A business that "doesn't want to ask"? That "contacted every florist" when they claim to be a bricks and mortar florist? Please. Avoid them like the plague. This isn't poor customer service - it's a scam. "You will be refunded the full amount?" Nope, you won't see a dime.

Answer: That is a good question. It also makes me wonder about a lot of the other sites advertising they are "local". Finally went with 1-800 Flowers. I did find some excellent almost-local florists in nearby Portland Oregon who had the kind of unique arrangements I was looking for, but they don't deliver in Wash. State, possibly a sales tax issue.

Answer: These people have to answer the God himself for this. Share your experience with the ones you sought to comfort... but use it as a way to do something meaningful a little later when the calls and visits stop. Just be sure and dispute the charges IMMEDIATELY with your credit card company.
