I pre-ordered my wife a premium rose arrangement for Valentine's Day. Yes, I was a sucker and upgraded to the premium version rather than the standard. Entered my card message to go along with the flowers and I was finished. I gave myself a pat on the back because I ordered 3 weeks in advance!
Come the day of delivery... My wife sends me a picture of her flowers... I replied that there must be some mistake. They was not a single rose in the arrangement. It was carnations, dasies, and 2 day lillies. Not to mention, the message on the card was incorrect! I call the 800 # listed on their site and the person answering says, Florist. When I inquired, she said I needed to take a picture of what was received and send it to their customer service department which I did, promptly. I waited an hour and heard nothing. Thinking they would redo the arrangement and deliver it that day, I was getting a bit anxious! So, I called back. The same lady answers, Florist. I explain and she cuts me off and says someone will get back to me by the end of the day. At this point, I am getting annoyed. I explained that the arrangement ordered was an all rose arrangement and that is what I wanted. She proceeded to tell me that they have a substitution policy and that is what happened. Annoyed a bit more, I said that any other day, their substitution policy would be fine but when I order roses on valentine's day, I expect roses! Not carnations and dasies! She is then annoyed and said someone will reply in 5 minutes. I receive a generic form-letter email stating they would like to offer a 25% refund. To which I replied, no. Either the arrangement I ordered or a refund. To save a bit of time, multiple emails and phones calls went back and forth and they offered a 60% refund and that was it. No new flowers! I explained to them that a 75% refund would suffice as I don't expect to get what they delivered for free. They declined. So, now I have filed a dispute with AmEx. I will let them decide what is fair... STAY AWAY!
I attached photos of what was ordered and what was delivered so you can see for yourself.
This business is a scam. They took my order, charged my card and NEVER delivered the flowers. I had to dispute the charge on my card - DONT ORDER FROM TROYS!
Order was never delivered and wanted $ 25 more than the original billing to complete the flower order.
Fraudulent business. Do not use! No refunds provided when they do not deliver flowers. They are a scam!
I usually always check reviews before ordering anything but being pressed for time and being out of state I failed. DO NOT order from here period! This company made my entire family look bad when flowers didn't show up for my sons girlfriends Grandfather's Memorial Service. This is just sickening that they still have an active website and trust me when I say, i will be pursuing this issue with those higher up as they are scamming people falsifying goods that are not delivered and from some of the photos on here they provide less than stellar quality in comparison to what you think you ordered. Our flowers just didn't show up.
I ordered flowers for a funeral service to be delivered 2/5/20. As of 10:00 this morning 2/6/20, nothing has been delivered to the funeral home from this florist, nothing from my family and of course no flowers for the deceased's family without a sender. Calling the numbers provided on multiple websites attached to Troys Florist *******3800 & *******593); I was told that I would need to contact them via e-mail as the numbers are for new orders only and they do not have the ability to look at previous orders or the drivers logs as far as delivery goes.
I e-mailed both websites (*******@troysflorist.com; *******@flowersonlinellc.com) where it states "you will receive a reply within seconds!" and I have heard nothing back and it's been much longer than the seconds they promised. I e-mailed both sites from my work e-mail and personal e-mail just in case my work e-mail would be marked as spam. I started looking for information regarding to my order and delivery but without any response, I have requested this order get cancelled as the service was completed without the goods delivered on 2/5/20 as requested.
Based on the million awful reviews on this company, it looks like I am not the only one having issues with this problem.
Already sent in my dispute to my credit card company but honestly, how is this still out there to order from?
I called my order in before I read the reviews I live in Dallas, Texas my son is in New York in the hospital The young lady that took the order was very nice and professional I think her name was Ya Ya when I got my email receipt I seen the room number was wrong which I know was a simple mistake, so I called back the person that answer the phone I ask her for her name to see if I was speaking to the same person that I spoke to before instead of her giving me her name she said Troy florist I said what your name she spoke to me very ugly in a very nasty voice that made me very up set it as I said why are you yelling just because I ask you to put the right room number and very riude voice I changed it and she hung up in my face and I call and ask to speak to the manger and they said she was busy and would call me back so I told them to cancel the order and she told me oh before they could delivery They need $40 more dollar after I had already given $74.84 I don't think so in Texas I never spend my money with people that have attitudes and to Ya Ya the first young lady that answer the phone find you another job because you are to nice to work there... Good Luck! Mary Ford P.S.if I could give a 0 I would!
They will take your money, tell you they can not deliver and that you will get a refund. They are scamming people and it is SICK.
I ORDERED FUNERAL FLOWERS FOR A FRIEND'S MOM. TROYS DID NOT DILIVER AND DID NOT TELL ME. WHEN I DISCOVERED THAT THEY DID NOT DELIVER THEY PROMISED A REFUND WHICH THEY DID NOT PROCESS WITHIN TEN DAYS.
I would give Troy's Flower and gift shop a negative number if possible...
I ordered flowers from TROY's for mother's day (Sunday) on Thursday am.
They confirmed in an email that the flowers would be delivered on FRIDAY in time for Mother's Day on Sunday.
I called my Mother on Sunday (mother's day) and she had not received the flowers or even a phone call to arrange delivery.
I never received a call from the company either!
I called today and they said they didn't have the flowers made and would provide a refund.
The money wasn't the issue, I wanted my mom to have flowers on Mother's Day.

Rachel, (Manager - CRAP)
I can't even express my frustration to get an email after I thought an order was delivered to a funeral that was really important and it's obvious you don't care about your customers or the fact that they're going through pain and have no clue how to show sympathy or empathy and it's very very visible in your staff.
I called to speak to someone...
Incredibly rude staff you have...
Didn't even really answer the phone just said "please hold"
I was on hold on my cell phone for so long I called from my other phone
- I got "please hold" click "please hold" click "please hold" click... they never did come back to my cell phone...
Finally answered the other phone
1st - Britney told me just to answer the email and hung up... - she's the one that lied when Rachel inquires... saying she never talk to me and it was only like five minutes earlier...
2nd - Samantha - she asked the others if anybody had spoke to me and they all lied and said no, didn't know anything about missing a funeral or talking to anybody five minutes earlier about the fact that they didn't send an arrangement to a funeral when I ordered it more than 24 hours before the service
- when Samantha asked again - they remembered...
- Samantha was a total snot- no sympathy no empathy ton of sarcasm didn't seem to care one way or another that a somebody died and B guys failed miserably
I will be posting this... Anywhere and every where...
Better Business Bureau... Attorney General...
Not sure what excuse will be... however you took my money you charged my card and you didn't deliver the goods that's called fraud...
WHAT SAY YOU TO THE FAMILY GOING THROUGH HEARTBREAK...
Biloxi, MS - First, everyone needs to put their location on their reviews. My boyfriend used Troy Florist web-site to send me roses a few days ago for my bday. I left to go out of town and he wanted them to reach the address quickly. As I arrived to my destination I see the arrangement which looked like someone grabbed some supplies from a dollar tree and picked 4 roses with a few lilies and a ribbon. Knowing him I knew he would have never chose such a unfulfilling flower arrangement. It was suppose to be a 2 dozen red and pink rose arrangement and a box of chocolate. I mean the other 20 roses missing clearly were not noticeable? After I found out this flower arrangement wasn't correct I decided to research it myself because it didn't make since. The arrangement sent id say was worth maybe $20 out of the $150 that it cost. I called multiple local flower shops and no one had the address on file. I called Troy's florist and they said they are not allowed to give the name of the shop. Oh and the card on the arrangement did not have the shop's name on it either. I couldn't figure it out. I let it go. Well a few days after I did the research I came across this flower shop on Facebook and it all tied together. The owner has this 1 floral shop(under 1 business name) listed under 2 different names on Facebook. One is "Rose Flowers" and the other is "Rose's Florist". Apparently the word around town she is known for the scams that are exactly what these reviews are talking about. What I've came to conclusion is she must use one of those names as the scam flower shop through Troy Florist. She ups the prices and throws something together that cost less or plain out doesn't deliver. What concerns me more is what about the flower arrangements to others that may be a death or something important and this owner is sending these unfulfilling flower arrangements to people when flowers are suppose to help brighten up someone's spirit, etc. Because after all, it's just the thought that counts? Not someone being a scam artist?
I arranged to have flowers delivered to my friend in Nantucket. My credit card was charged and I received an email confirmation from Troy's Florist, thanking me for my order and confirming that the arrangement would be delivered the next day. I waited until 4:30pm the next day, and when the arrangement still had not come, I called Troy's. After waiting on-hold for 11 minutes, I was told that there was a "premium charge" of an additional $20 on my order, and that it could not be delivered until the following day. When I asked them why I had a receipt from them, thanking me for my order at the original price, they said that their system had not been updated yet, but I could have a refund if I wanted. When I asked them why they were not willing to engage in basic customer service and give me the arrangement for the price I had paidie, the price they had accepted and given me a receipt forI was told again that I could have a refund, but that... guess this... I would have to wait four days for the refund. So they charged me right away and gave me a receipt, but then they failed to deliver the flowers... told me (only after I had called them...) that I would have to pay an extra $20 if I wanted the flowers delivered... refused to give me the arrangement for the price they had charged my credit card... and then told me I'd have to wait four days to get a refund. I am furious. It seems to me that if Troy's had even a basic level of customer service, they would have explained that the "premium" fee was why the arrangement hadn't been delivered, apologized for the confusion, explained that their computer system had made a mistake in not charging me that extra fee, and then offered to deliver the arrangement the next day for the price I'd paid, the price they'd charged me, and the price their "system" had accepted. But nopeTroy's does not have even a basic level of customer service... and they will be keeping my money for four days in top of it!
DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! THEY ARE NOTHING BUT A SCAM! THEY NEED TO BE SHUT DOWN! PLEASE FILE COMPLAINT WITH BBB!
You will order and pay and get NOTHING WHICH IN MY BOOK IS THEFT
I ORDERED FOR MY DAUGHTER IN LAWS FIRST MOTHERS DAY... Troys you are $#*!S
Nothing they delivered was even close to what I selected. Not only was it different, what they sent was cheap. DO NOT USE THIS FLORIST.
Do not use this company! Absolutely terrible delivered the wrong flowers didn't even contact me!
Everything looks good at first but they don't send out the flowers. SCAM!
Answer: Scam. Nothing legit about these guys. Should have read the reviews before ordering with them.
Answer: Thought it was a local company to the area the flowers were tobe delivered. Turns out it's a scam.
Answer: It is a scam! Your order will be substituted for much cheaper (and completely different) flowers. No customer service to speak to on the phone. All issues must go via email.
Answer: Do not use them. This is a scam/fraudulent business.
Answer: And majority of the complaints relate to NON-DELIVERY... that is stealing... Troys Florist has committed CYBER CRIMES... ribbing off innocent people
Answer: That is a good question. It also makes me wonder about a lot of the other sites advertising they are "local". Finally went with 1-800 Flowers. I did find some excellent almost-local florists in nearby Portland Oregon who had the kind of unique arrangements I was looking for, but they don't deliver in Wash. State, possibly a sales tax issue.
Answer: DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM TROY FLORIST! NO FLOWERS for a FUNERAL!
Answer: These people have to answer the God himself for this. Share your experience with the ones you sought to comfort... but use it as a way to do something meaningful a little later when the calls and visits stop. Just be sure and dispute the charges IMMEDIATELY with your credit card company.
