Rude Over the Phone!

I recently lost my father and wanted to do something nice for my newly widowed mother on her first Valentine's Day without him. This was on 2/14/19. I live a couple states away so I wasn't able to be with her. I originally ordered her some chocolates but found out that morning that they wouldn't arrive for a few days. I thought to look up "day-of flower deliveries" in her area and clicked on a business that wasn't as popular (meaning it wasn't the first business on the search result) to hopefully find one that was less busy. Now, I understand that a LOT of people order flowers ON Valentine's Day. This is for sure annoying for the owners of a flower shop because it makes their day busy and they wonder why more people didn't order their flowers in advance. Well, I still don't find that to be an excuse to talk extremely rudely to those who call your flower shop! The woman I spoke to was so impolite. She answered the phone in a dull "What can I do for you," and I simply asked if they could deliver a certain type of flower arrangement. The woman just snapped at me and said "UM WE AREN'T DOING ANYMORE DELIVERIES TODAY." I said, "Oh, okay, thank you." And she replied, "YEAH BYE" and hung up. Way to make me feel crappy and want to cry because I was just trying to do something nice for my mom. I was really upset! I think these employees need to realize that those who are calling are real people and if they're calling last minute they have a reason to be. Don't just brush your bad attitude onto someone else! I will not be calling them again.

Horrible,

This was the worst experience of an online purchase i have experienced. I ordered flowers for my mother, they were supposed to be delivered on her birthday, got a confirmation and they charged my card, 3 days after the delivery date, still nothing, i called the 800 number and was told there was no supervisor there to help, tben i was told if i paid $20 more dollars they would be delivered that day. They said they were supposed to have sent me an email letting me know all available florists would need $20 more dollars to deliver... had i not called what would have happened? The same thing that actually did... NOTHING... 5 days after the delivery date nothing still and no response from the company. This way of doing buisness is unacceptable! Today (6th day)i recieved an email saying my number was unreachable, and that they couldnt find a florist to deliver to that address... Keep in mind they had already asked for the $20extra for a florist to deliver to the address... the phone number story is also a lie. O now they have ruined my moms gift experience and they have outright lied. This company should rethink there policies and employees. I have never delt with such a dysfunctional online company. I give them a 0 rating, and i sure hope no one has to go through this type of experience!

They told me they could give me a refund of 20 percent then 30 percent because they have a non substitution policy and wouldn't be delivering the flowers I ordered! What?! I ordered $200 worth of arrangements and they delivered the wrong arrangement! They're not will to actually deliver what I ordered and still havent processed my refund. I spoke with them AS the flowers were being delivered, so the full charge shouldn't have even went through.

Their customer service is atrocious. They called me 3 times in a row for a phone number for delivery when I emailed it to them at their first request.

I asked for a delivery for after 3pm and a woman called me confirming it would be delivered by 1pm. Then immediately after got an email confirming 3pm.

It was like dealing with a bunch of monkeys.

I sent them an email again telling them to process my refund. I will find their social media page, dispute the charge and go to the BBB to get this place shut down. Absolutely disgusting. They should be ashamed of themselves.

Troy's Florists' goal is to end up on the Visa/Mastercard Merchant Terminated File. Here's how to help them get there faster!

Step One: Ask for a refund
Step Two: Call back in 3-4 days and ask for a refund again.
Step Three: Get a bogus looking email with a bogus reference code. Wait 3-4 days. Screenshot this.
Step Four: Your bank can't trace a refund that doesn't exist.
Step Four: File a police report and a chargeback. Contact Mastercard and Visa Merchant Fraud. Report this merchant. Reply to the merchant that you have filed a police report and attach a screenshot of the BBB reviews on them out of New Jersey.
Step Five: Remind the lost soul responsible for answering emails via *******@troysflorist.com that the flowers they didn't deliver were for a dying grandmother. Suggest not ripping people off might be good for their soul. Get a sassy little response. Screenshot this.
Step Six: Report their Google Ad account to Google.
Step Seven: Email screenshots to your brother in law who works for Jimmy Kimmel. :)

I ordered flowers for a friends bday on 6-26-19 for dlvy on 6-27-19. ($65 bucks). I thought I was calling a "Local Shop". Turns out they are a "Local Shop" but used Logan's Flowers (Large Nationwide Company) for my order. I found this out when I saw a charge from my Bank from a company in New Brunswick NJ. I called them to see what was going on and they explained to me that they took care of the flowers. I was upset as I have had very bad experiences w/ the Big Flower Companies and no longer use any of them. I felt I had been deceived as Troys flowers told me they are "Local". Turns our Flowers were never delivered. When I called on 7-3-19 to ask about the flowers, "Maria" just said we can refund. I agreed and hung up. I checked w/ my Bank today 7-12-19 and no refund. I understand the 4th of July holiday but, a refund should be 2-4 days. My refund is Overdue. Also, today when I spoke to Troy's, talk about an attitude from the person I spoke to. This person should not be in retail and Troys is not an Honest company. I will NEVER EVER use Troy's again. Flower business is not Brain Surgery. You make the arrangement per the picture and deliver them. This company needs some Ethics and Customer Service training and clarify to customers that they are NOT a LOCAL business.

Also, never received phone call that there was a problem with the delivery or anything

DISGUSTING CUSTOMER SERVICE.

I ordered flowers for my mother and mother-in law on May 9th with a May 11th delivery. On May 12th I called my mom to see if she liked the flowers. She told me that she didn't receive flowers so I assumed that they would be delivered the next day, May 13th. I text my Mom May 13th and still no flowers.

I reached out to Troy and inquired about the flowers and was told:

"I am so sorry, we contacted every florist but they all required more money to do this order due to the Mother's Day holiday and we did not want to ask you for that. We tried our best"

So naturally I called to company because 1. Who are you to decided what I want to spend for flowers and 2. Why wasn't I contacted? The customer service rep I spoke to said sorry we can refund you and sorry for not letting you know. Not sure what type of business they are running here but its clear to me that they had no intention of refunding me or informing me.

This company lacks professionalism, communication, and their customer service team is terribly rude. I will never order from them again. If you're thinking of using them DONT.

Why oh why did I not read the reviews before ordering. My son asked me if I would help him order flowers for his girlfriends birthday who is attending college almost a thousand miles away. I scrolled down the lists of florists on Google in her city and saw that it was a "Family ran" business that offered same day service. I always try to support mom and pop shops and I needed same day delivery so I thought it was a win-win. My son picked the flower arrangement out and we placed the order online. Keep in mind, the kid works two jobs and goes to college and was so happy to be sending his girlfriend flowers. So, he waits and waits and keeps asking his girlfriend how her day is going trying to not ruin the surprise. As evening is approaching he finally breaks down and asks her if she got flowers and she said no. We try to call Troys and no answer. We email them because their website states they respond right away. We got no response. The next day after not receiving the delivery nor an email we call again. The girl that answers the phone says "hold" and then I hear music. A couple minutes later she says florists and I give her my reference number. She says, "Oh yeah it's going to be delivered later today." I explain that her birthday was yesterday, she is not at work today (where it was being delivered). The girl just kept repeating that it would go out today. I asked why if there was a problem with it being delivered, why somebody couldn't have called and let us know. The girl was so rude and said she would give me a refund and hung up on me. Customer service is a thing of the past I guess. I wish I would have known and I hope people read this before they are disappointed. It's obviously not a random event.

This is the lead paragraph from Troy Florist on their website "Troys florist is a family run business that has been around since 1994. We have had a huge loyal following within the community because of our customer service and our willingness to go above and beyond for all our customers within each and every order. The feedback has been tremendous over the years; people love our attention to detail, how quickly we identify potential problems, how close in touch we keep over the phone when its necessary, and our amazing selection of flowers! Thank you for supporting your local florist".

Local Florist my A__, I called them because they popped up on a Google search for Claremont California florists. Everything looked good from their website, so I placed an order expecting them to be delivered on March 23,2019 for a memorial service. Unfortunately I did not do a search for reviews on them in advance like I normally would do. Incredibly, they are the only business that I have ever seen that has nothing but single star reviews (and that is only because you cannot give zero stars). As far as I know they were never delivered even though they charged my account immediately. Furthermore, I told the lady who took the order that I wanted a perennial plant that could be transplanted outside. The response about transplanting from the store clerk was "yeah, sure". After I realized that I had been duped, I managed to contact a local florist who said that they did not carry anything like a perennial that could be transplanted, and she did not know of any local shops that did carry that. So even if this arrangement had been delivered, and then transplanted they would have quickly died. Nice!

These guys are the worst of the worst, STAY FAR, FAR AWAY!

ORDERED A BIRTHDAY BOUQUET TO BE DELIVERED TO MY WIFE'S PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT ON 8/29 WITH A PROMISED DELIVERY DATE OF 8/29, ON 8/30 AT 11:00 AM I CALLED TO FIND OUT WHAT THE HOLD UP WAS ON THE DELIVERY AND THE GIRL WHO FINALLY ANSWERED THE PHONE SAID SHE WOULD HAVE TO CALL ME BACK TO LET ME KNOW. WELL THEY DIDN'T CALL BUT SENT AN E-MAIL SAYING THEY WERE SORRY BUT THEY FORGOT TO CONTACT ME ON THE 29 TO LET ME KNOW THE FLORIST WANTED AN ADDITIONAL $30 TO COMPLETE THE ORDER, NEEDLESS TO SAY IT WAS TO LATE FOR THE FLOWER DELIVERY EVEN IF I PAYED THE ADDED MONIES, SO I LET THEM KNOW IN NO UNCERTAIN TERMS HOW DISSATISFIED I WAS WITH THE UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE AND REQUESTED AN IMMEDIATE REFUND. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL BACK STATING THAT IT WOULD TAKE 3-5 DAYS FOR IT TO BE CREDITED TO MY CARD. AFTER READING THE EMAIL I LOOKED THEM UP ON THE BBB WEBSITE AND SEEN THAT THIS A COMMON OCCURRENCE FOR THIS COMPANY AS THEIR WAS A STRING OF COMPLAINTS ALONG THE SAME LINE AS MINE. DEFINITELY LOOK ELSEWHERE TO PURCHASE YOUR FLOWERS OR BETTER YET JUST CALL A FLORIST IN THE AREA THEY WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO HELP.
