Failed to deliver flowers for 2 days. First it was a "driver issue" then it was "they couldn't get hold of any affiliates in the city that it was going to" This was for a college graduation and I had to scramble at the last minute to try and get some other flowers to the graduate the morning of. They claimed to have called me, which they didn't. This company needs to be shut down based on the other reviews on this site. If I don't get a full refund, I will be challenging the charge as fraudulent. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
After placing my order, I became skeptical of the validity of the company (due to issues I had with the rep on the phone). Much to my dismay, I discovered that the company had terrible review and was essentially a scam. I immediately cancelled my order and was told that I would be refunded my charges within 3 business days. One month later, they still have refused to refund the charges. I disputed it with my credit card company, but chances are they will end up eating the cost and Troy's Florist will get away with it. Very frustrating. DON'T DO BUSINESS WITH THIS SCAM ARTIST.
PLEASE DO NOT order from them- fraud scam and stupid. I ordered an orchid. They delivered a cheapo cut flower arrangement with a wilted iris and would not refund my money. Scam.
Placed an order FOR FLOWERS FOR A FUNERAL!. Was guaranteed that the flowers would arrive for a funeral. Day of the funeral they had not arrived when I called was informed that the order had been cancelled by them. I was never notified by email, mail or phone in any ways that the order had been cancelled by them. THEY TOOK THE CREDIT CARD, CHARGED US THEN JUST DECIDED NOT TO DELIVER TO A FUNERAL! You can not get any lower then that.
I am going on three months now and still waiting for over 150.00 refund! Excuse after excuse as to why no refund yet. Never get a call back. Never get to talk to a manager and that is if someone actually answers the phone.

I ordered potted plant for my mother's birthday and what Troy's Florist does is take your money and then send order to a local florist and they do not tell them what was ordered. They tell them "just do the best you can." My mother got flowers, not a potted plant and the quality was very limited because Troy's Florist does not tell the vendor what was ordered and paid for. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY. SHADY BUSINESS, SHADY PRACTICES.
I wish I could have rated this as a -5. I made the mistake of not reading the 222 1-star reviews before placing my order. I am baffled at how a place like this can stay in business. PLEASE READ ALL REVIEWS BEFORE DOING BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. My flowers were never delivered! The day after the schedule delivery date, I received an email stating that there would be a $30 extra charge. By that time, the occassion had passed. Why in the world would I want to pay an additional $30 for flowers that were scheduled to be delivered yesterday... I requested a full refund. What a waste of time.
Just like many others, my order NEVER got delivered. Granted, I placed an order on the Tuesday of Mother's Day week BUT, they were for someone recovering from surgery, not Mother's Day. After I was aware that they were not delivered on the day I scheduled them for, I called "Troy's" only to get a VERY rude her telling me that they needed $25 more to make the delivery. After a few words with this person, not cursing, even though I sooo wanted to, I asked for someone else. They told me the same thing. Mind you, I did not receive as much as a phone call or email saying that they were not delivered or my options. They did offer to get my $$ back and after I told them I wanted the flowers delivered for the price I paid online, I was told my $ would be refunded and was hung up on. NEVER AGAIN!

The person on the phone ABSOLUTELY knew i thought i was ordering from a local florist.
They weren't they were in Jersey.
The flowers were NOTHING like what was ordered.
Not the right size
Not the right centerpiece
And
Not the right flowers.
Their policy was they could substitute without notice. And they claimed the value for the dollar was the same.

Ordered a very cute little arrangement for our 3 year old grandchild's birthday. They have a cateory-"for children"... 3 days ahead of the birthday. Received confirmation. Everything looked good.
The day of, they wrote and said they needed more money, because the area was too far away. Ok. They agreed to do it anyways at the agreed upon price.
BUT--they send an arrangement that was not for little children. Not cute, not fun, and completely inappropriate for a child's birthday. The chocolate was a little tiny package, not at all like the one pictured. So we wound up very disappointed.
Wrote the company and asked for a refund. They offered a 10% discount calling on their right to exchange or upgrade the arrangement. --But seriosly. It's not even from the right category.
Good it was not a wedding where they sent funeral arrangements.
I have called 3 times today. No one answer the phone. It's Sunday, so ok. The first email was answered. But we cannot accept a 10 % discount for this. So- any one has a good idea of what to do?
I spoke with a very pleasant woman at the Troys Florist on February 1,2019 and ordered a beautiful flower arrangement to be delivered by the end of the day on a Friday. I sent an email the next day to inquire as to IF the flowers had been delivered... they sent back an email saying no, they couldn't do the delivery and would send them out on Monday. I then called them and said that was unacceptable as the event had already passed. She said she would issue me a refund. I checked my credit card today (13 days later) and the refund had not come through. So, I called again and told them that; she said someone had started the process but had failed to complete the refund process and that she would put it in again. To recap... they did not deliver the flowers and they did not refund my charges (yet). IF I had not followed up both times, I'm sure this would have just been free money in their pockets. After looking at others reviews, seems like this is a common practice... Shame on them! Stay away from them!
This is the absolute worst company. No flowers, no delivery, and no refund. They put you on hold, insist refund processed, and then tell me the issue is with my bank. RUN.
Placed my order just fine but when I called to confirm my order I was put on hold numerous times and after me having to follow up twice, I was told they could no longer deliver my flowers on my requested date. When I started challenging them, they hung up on me. When I called back they hung up on me again. Most inefficient and rude business and will NEVER USE THEM AGAIN.
I am writing to let you know I have never been more disgusted with a florist and I used to have a floral business in Dallas, TX. I ordered flowers on Friday and picked a very high end arrangement. It was not delivered on Friday as promised, no call and no email to let me know the driver had already left before my order was placed. I then called on Saturday and talked to a very rude employee who assured me the order would go out and it would look like what I ordered, it was not delivered. I learned from my friend that I was sending flowers too, that there had been flooding.
Today, I did not call to check on the order, but I did get a picture sent tonight from my friend that the flowers were delivered. THEY WERE HORRIBLE. I have included both pictures of what was sent vs. what I was ordered. I confirmed with the employee on Saturday that they had the flowers to build this order. I do not see one, tulip, one rose or one cymbidium orchid. I want my money back and do not expect to pay for this arrangement as it was not delivered on time or with the quality of flowers I ordered. This is a TERRIBLE florist. I ordered a bouquet to be delivered. The bouquet was NEVER delivered, and I was not contacted that it had not been delivered. When I called, they indicated that I needed to pay more money because the florist in the area needed to use "premium" flowers--but I was never contacted to even pay extra. I was never able to speak with a manager regarding this issue. NEVER EVER USE THIS COMPANY! They cannot be trusted to provide what you need--or a bouquet at all.
I called on the day the flowers were ordered and was told they were on the truck. The next day I was told that no florist could produce the arrangement without my paying $30 more. Bad company!
A cousin of mine recently passed away in California. I google searched florists near his family, to send some flowers. Troys Florist looked legit, so I placed an order. The flowers were not delivered on the day they were supposed to be, and several days later... still not delivered! They keep giving excuse after excuse as to why they aren't delivered yet. I wish I would have seen the reviews for this company first, before doing business with them... lesson learned on my end. They told me today (several days after the order was placed) that they would try to deliver again... I told them don't bother and I demand a refund. They emailed back saying the refund is processed and it'll take a few business days to show up on my credit card... if the refund shows up, then fine... otherwise, I'll be coordinating with my credit card company to dispute the charge and force the refund. I've put in a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, and there are lots of active negative files through the BBB. Do yourselves a favor and steer clear of this company!
This florist ignored my online order, never delivered, put me on hold instantly without asking six times and then LIED that they had tried to call me to say they couldn't deliver. Their customer service is NON-EXISTANT! And then had the audacity to say in a sing-song sick voice have a nice day'. AVOID AVOID AVOID!
1. Site says it is local, family owned, hand delivered, but that is disingenuous. It certainly is not local to Washington State, which was the zip code I entered. They may fill the orders through some local operation, but that didn't happen either. If a company advertises that they are local, then I expect to speak to the people who know the area, their available flowers, who can discuss my selection.
2. Same day delivery didn't happen - They did not contact me, I had to follow - up and then found out they weren't delivered. They "sincerely apologized" and said it was an... "internal glitch and the order was showing as sent out to our local location, and after further investigation we discovered it was not sent out".
3. I canceled the order since the recipient would not be available to receive the flowers on the date Troy proposed, and was given a cancel confirmation number.
4. That was 2 weeks ago, and the pending cc charge has now a been charged to my account. I contacted customer service and they apologized again and said they would make sure it is processed correctly but it would take another 4 days!
I'm not sure how they are allowed to stay in business. The BBB seems to have a body of complaints about them.
I have only posted one negative review, ever (re a deck umbrella I ordered), but this is either an extremely inept

I ordered an all purple, primarily roses, floral arrangement for a close friend's sudden passing this week. I placed the order on line, so the next day I called to confirm that everything would be correct and delivered on time. I was assured that was the case. The arrangement that arrived was made of multi colored wild flowers and carnations. When I emailed my dissatisfaction, along with photographs, I was sited the company's substitution policy. 1. There is no way that wildflowers and carnations equate monetarily to roses. 2. The substitution policy says that they strive to, but do not gaurentee that customers will be notified if a substitution will be required. I called them! I did the work for them and at no time did they give any indication at all that anything required substitution. They offered a 25% discount because I was unhappy, but they are firm that that is the most they will give me. It should be noted that I still have not received the 25% discount back. I will never use them again and I hope no one else will either. I wish I would have searched reviews before placing my order, but it was so sudden and I just needed to get them ordered. Lesson learned on my part. I hope I can warn others.

Answer: It is a scam! Your order will be substituted for much cheaper (and completely different) flowers. No customer service to speak to on the phone. All issues must go via email.

Answer: That is a good question. It also makes me wonder about a lot of the other sites advertising they are "local". Finally went with 1-800 Flowers. I did find some excellent almost-local florists in nearby Portland Oregon who had the kind of unique arrangements I was looking for, but they don't deliver in Wash. State, possibly a sales tax issue.

Answer: These people have to answer the God himself for this. Share your experience with the ones you sought to comfort... but use it as a way to do something meaningful a little later when the calls and visits stop. Just be sure and dispute the charges IMMEDIATELY with your credit card company.
