Great selection, not always the best prices, so check around first. Some items are exclusively theirs, then you are stuck. Shipping is a bit on the high side (in my opinion), but if you are close to a store, it ships there for free!
I bought a Barbie for my niece which it was sold out everywhere. And I found it on this store! They have all kind of toys for kids. The only thing is that sales assistants seem a bit lost when you ask them for a concrete item and it's sales season. But apart from that, my experience was a good one. The most important: my niece is the happiest girl with her new doll!
Bought some toys for my brothers they were really happy with it and looks like it is made from high quality mats for how resistant they are The emails kept us up to date and we liked the fact we could track the order and it gave us good confidence. We also saved over £200 so what a bargain!
No doubt they have a ton of different toys for all ages. The problem I have is the prices they sell stuff at is far more than almost every competitor in my area. So I used to take my kids here a lot but not recently with the price increases over the years.
Im speaking from experience in the Leominster, MA location. They are always out of stock on the most wanted toys. They have poor selection for a big toy store. You would think they would have more fantasy/video game/tv show section of toys. And when i ordered from them online, for Christmas. They sent me the wrong item(s).
I would think twice about ordering something from them on-line. I bought a drone and less then an hours flight time it malfunctioned. I've tried to return this item for some time now, I've filed two complaints with Better Business Bureau which they haven't responded to. I'm getting so frustrated trying to deal with them, even though I sent them the receipt they gave me they are still unable to verify my order! Totally incompetent, I think they do it on purpose in hopes you'll give up and they can keep the money anyways. It's been a terrible experience.
Although Toys R us is quite expensive, they have pretty much any toy you are looking for, so this is a huge selling point of the site and company, it has been around forever and they are a huge household name.
I do a lot of reviews and I am honest to a fault. Anyone who is a savvy shopper who does their research knows full well that you can get a lot of items this store sells just by doing some serious price-matching. For instance, an x-box game I was interested in was 8.00 cheaper at a local game store. That's quite a difference, don't you think? I don't shop here anymore, now that I have wised up.
Good selection and good quality, but many toys are overpriced just because it's a brand name. I'd go there for a Sale or to get an idea. Although there are still some nicely priced toys that I recently bought. My son enjoyed the variety at the store greatly.
Whenever there's a birthday coming up or some sort of celebration for children - i go to this site. Great selection, great prices and great customer service. I am more than pleased. And so are the kids with their gifts.
Very easy to update baby registries. Coupons from the store come every month, and are normally pretty useful. Usually at least one 20% off coupon. Online selection is much better than in the store, and the website makes it easy to find items of the same set or design.
This is the best place with lots of toys necessary for a child from the smallest age till 14 years old. My cousin is 9, so I can always find here what to buy for her, even when I'm at a loss and have no idea how to impress her again. With Toys R us it is always possible. She has so many thing from this shop already! I recommend it to others!
I have 4 grandchildren who live on the west coast so this is my go to website for birthday and Christmas gifts. The first year he moved there I bought their gifts locally and it cost me over $50 to ship them there via US postal service. Now I have Toys R Us ship directly to my son's home so that saves me on US postal rates. Plus if you spend a certain amount shipping is usually free. I have never had a problem with their service. I highly recommend them
Every time I've ordered from there or Babies R' Us, I've had success! From their quick shipments to their email updates to the packaging. I've ordered tons of items at once from them and have never had an issue. Well, I've had one issue with a damaged package but they quickly replaced everything and they even scheduled a pick up of the old package. All I had to do was place the given return sticker on the box and set it on my front porch; within days I received the new items.
I shop here all the time for toys and cribs for my grandchildren. They have so much stuff for kids and its always exciting going there. Bought my grand daughter a sofa couch for her while she is watching TV.
Placed an order and it arrived within 2 working days. Well packaged, great information provided on the site to help with choosing the product.
Only problem was that the confirmation email showed a link to track the delivery which didn't work so I had no idea which courier it was coming with or when. Customer services didn't reply to my email until after the order had already arrived but not a major problem.
It was my dream to have as many as possible toys when I was a little boy. Cause, you know, toys would never hurt you, not like real human being. I am growing up now, and I'm not afraid of bad guys anymore, but the good memory of toys will always be my dream.
Like the title says, this place is just a crack-den for children. Whether it is the website or a physical store, my grandkids love running around looking at every little thing. Sometimes that can be annoying as my youngest granddaughter literally wants EVERYTHING. I would go home with 5 of every item in the store if it were up to her. But its a nice place to take to spoil them every few weeks.
Ordered on line (which I do every Christmas from Toy "r" Us, only to find out I had ordered the "outdated" version of the NFL gameboy series. Returned following instructions on-line, verified they received item by checking link they provide and had no problem receiving my money back. Great experience.
Very disappointed in their Customer Service.
I purchased an item on Sat online for the full price.
On Monday, 2 days later it went on sale for $10 less.
They refused to refund me the $10 difference. I had to return the item for a refund then purchase it for the sale price.
Is that stupid or what? No customer service there. Terrible experience with Toys R Us. Every other big box chain store would honor that sale price and refund you the difference in that situation.
Answer: I thought I'd get a birthday present for my granddaughter shipped and toys r us is local. So much for that idea. They have lost a customer permanently.
Answer: Impossible basically. The wait time is 45+ minutes... for a toy store. The order number they provided is rejected. Super frustrating.
