Ordered $600/clothes for my daughter and paid $28 for expedited shipping twice (2 orders). They were supposed to come in 2 days, they came in 5 days. Emailed to ask for my shipping $ back and they gave me 1 $28 for one order. Then tried the stuff on and had to return 4 things - come to find out they reduced my return price by the shipping amount they refunded me. What? I still paid $28 for shipping and they reduced the amount I paid for the clothes by $7 bucks because of it. Then I had to send the stuff back - cost me $24 bucks. Then I requested a refund of the $28 expedited shipping on the second order. They gave me $23 bucks back. So paid $56 for shipping, got $44 back (in total) and then had to pay $24 to return the stuff. Definitely not worth shopping online. I gave them 2 stars because they did respond to emails.
I placed an order on the 21st of March, received an email saying that my ordered shipped on the 24th. It is now April 7th and I still did not receive an email stating that my order was delivered to the store. I had to call customer service to cancel and get a refund. Never again will I purchase from Torrid online.
I paid $28.00, almost triple the price of shipping, to have my order shipped overnight. I placed the order at 1pm EST on a Friday. The overnight shipping option showed the latest my order would arrive would be on Monday. Now the tracking information shows it will arrive on Tuesday. This is 5 day shipping which should be less expensive. Now I don't have what I need in time. Don't trust their shipping. Don't pay extra for something that is not reliable. I'm so disappointed.
When calling the customer service number to reconcile a late fee the first person i spoke with put me on hold and never came back to the phone and put me back to the automated system. I paid my bill on time but they charged me a late fee anyway. So of course I had to go back through the prompts again to talk to another person.
Very Comfortable, Very Sexy and the Fit is perfect. It doesn't slide up as I thought it would. However about 2 hours if that, of wearing it I felt what I thought was a Spider on my leg, instead the hemline was unraveling. I HATE that I am forced to have to repair an item I just bought!
This is not the first time I have experienced poor workmanship on Torrid under garments! Torrid needs to pay better attention to workmanship!
I highly suggest if purchasing this or other undergarments to check and fix all seems prior to wearing!
This isn't the first undergarment I have purchased recently that has had this issue, it's the most expensive and disheartening one and now I have to speak up!
It's bad enough they have Poor Communication, Constantly cancelling orders with little or NO explanation!

I ordered 5 panties online during the sale... when I got them... I tried on one pair... they were huge. I live an hour away... I headed down to the store to exchange the panties for a smaller size... The 4 remaining panties to be returned were each packaged in a sealing plastic bag... the sales person I dealt with was beyond rude... I d had her before so I was aware of her personality... she told me panties along with a list of other things could not be returned... unopened or not... store policy... so I then told the girl that I wanted to do some shopping and that I had a long ride to get here... could I use the restroom... she told me to go next door to 5 below and use their restroom... at that point I decided Lane Bryant will be my go to store... they have outstanding customer service and return policy...
I ordered several items from this store. I was really impressed by the amount of special deals they have on the site. I was very happy with the service, and the quality of the clothes I received. I will probably use this site again in the future. I really like their selection of clothes.
They have a sale for 50% off the site and then a sale for 60% off site and wont price match or let you cancel orders. They use surepost to ship which takes weeks. The customer service is awful and the prices are too much $. Now that covid hit Idc if this place goes under. Hot topic is their sister site and its the same way. No free shipping on either unless you spend 50 bucks. Granted you spend 80 on sweaters there but still. Just a waste of time.
I have payed my card in full every month since IV had it. This march I called them and said I would be late due to there was a delay in my checks. They said no problem over the phone. I went to the store and payed the account in full the day after it was due. A month later I had a balance. They said it was a late fee for paying a day late $35. They have now charged me $60 in fees refused to help in any way. Nothing they can do they said. They are charging me late fines on a $0.00 balance. It absolutely ridiculous! I payed the account in full and closed at. I WIL NEVER SHOP AT TORRID AGAIN!
Their return process for online orders is ridiculously inefficient. I went to the store to return my order and they said they could not issue a refund because I paid with PayPal. Called customer service and was told they would email a prepaid return label. They only sent a packing label and told me to pay the postage. Called back and was told again they would send a prepaid return label, still have not received it. I would not recommend this company to anyone and will be filing a complaint against them. With both PayPal and the BBB.
I made a purchase online, four pants for $116.
Upon receiving the items, I was very disappointed and they did not fit.I decided to return the items in store, (Natick,Ma.). However, the cashier encountered some "difficulties"in which he claims the " system"was not allowing him to make a refund. He claimed to call the manager and the manager did not know how to fix the problem. The male cashier kept asking if I wanted a gift card, I told him he did not have anything in the store I wanted. He then stated I should just mail it back to the distributor. Well I stood firm and said I paid for a product that was unsatisfactory, therefore I want my money back. All of a sudden he miraculously open the cash register and refunded my money in cash. I was standing in that store for nearly an hour to watch that guy play games so that he would not return my money.I am a long time customer of Torrid and this was a very frustrating and disappointing experience. How there that guy play games like that, the product was cheaply made. What happened to customer service. Shame on on you Torrid.

After online shopping and fishing for coupon codes I came across a few for this company. Two orders were received, processed and charged to my account. I then get an email cancelling BOTH and speaking with two reps saying the codes were invalid. Well they were not and I was charged. I want my orders at the original agreed upon value and they REFUSE to honor it. DO NOT SHOP HERE. Codes don't just pop out of thin air and just typing in randomness does NOT work. Those codes were valid.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FROM TORRID. They have rude customer service, refuse to honour discounts they have promised to you and make you jump through hoops just to get the right price on shipping. I had to call 6 times just to get a straight answer from them only to find out I had been charged 48 USD for shipping. I'm from Canada and that is like 60 dollars CAD.
Plus my credit card has never worked online. They promised to fulfil my order at discount and never did. I liked their clothes but not this much. By the time they get here, it's not worth the over 300 dollars I have spent in Canadian. I can go shop at local stores for similar items for way cheaper.

When you are a plus size, getting the cool tshirts for movies and tv shows is all but impossible. Yoiu can get mens shirts with that awful ring neck. Not feminine and not soft. These shirts are so soft. I love them and keep buying more.
But the pretty, professional shirts are so often sheer. I can't wear them without finding something to go under them. Some things they make are so perfect for plus size women but others seem oblivious to our need for a real bra - spaghetti straps aren't sufficient. I just keep wondering where the disconnect is. Some things are so great and others are such misses.
They offer pretty cardigans but I can't keep gambling because sometimes one size is perfect and others it's too big and I hate doing returns. I LOVE the Doctor Who cardigan I purchased - it is thick, pretty and well-made but it is so big that I just wear it around the house. They need consistency,
We had torrid cash to use so placed a large order and had a difference to pay. I opted to pay it for my daughter... mind you this was memorial day weekend. It just went down hill from there and she never received the merchadise nor did she get new torrid cash because it was past the date. So what they said was since it was my credit card the package would have to come to me. And its been one bs line after another. I spoke with one supervisor and she assured me it qas taken care. It wasnt and now i am still waiting to hear from a supervisor. PLEASE do not use torrid online or store for that matter. They do not care about their customers. Spent over an hour to just make sure they refunded me for a return.

I have shopped at this store for many years and it seems that the quality of their cloths gets worse and their prices get higher. I have returned some items for falling apart after washing (as directed) just once. This time is my last and final time I will NEVER buy anything from them again... I got a cute pair of skull sweat pants for Christmas this year and I love them but yet AGAIN after a couple of washes they now have a whole in the seam and the fabric seems to just be falling apart... very upset because I really like these. Torrid decided to hire the most rude customer service agents ever. I call to complain that my package has not arrived, even tho UPS and Torrid sight is saying it's been delivered. I call Torrid and this women with a nasty attitude, says it's out of Torrids hands. I call UPS and check and it says my package again has been delivered. My question is... where's the merchandise then? I call Torrid again saying how can I file a claim, the lady again rudely says you have to wait 5 days before we can do anything. Interestingly enough you guys take the money out of my account at your earliest connivence, but I have to wait 5 days for you to care about my package not being delivered. Yea, not thank you! If this happens to you guys out there take it up with your credit card company IMMEDIATELY! You have options! Don't pay for merchandise, and then not receive your products. Especially in times like this...
BUYERS BEWARE! Do not buy from Torrid.com. I bought a dress online and it was a huge mistake. The dress was for a wedding I was attending. I didn't get the dress till the day before the wedding because the UPS guy said he tried to make a delivery but the "customer wasn't home" even though I was home all day (I live in a condominium so I suspect he didn't even try to get in through the front gate). I had to inconveniently go to the UPS store nearest me to pick up the next day. Then I opened the package and tried on the dress only to find out that it was damaged! This was the most aggravating online purchase experience I've ever had.
Answer: I recently returned an item after waiting more than two weeks for delivery. It took almost a month for them to respond and acknowledge that they received the returned item. I never wore the item (shoes) because they were too small and Torrid only refunded 1/2 of the purchase price. RIP OFF!
Answer: They are the most consistent in sizes that I have found - so depends on what store you are comparing them to and your body shape. I am kind of boxed shape (except for cutting in under the bust I am big everywhere) - they run smaller than Lane Bryant for me - but for my friend who is chest heavy she wears the same sizes at both. In comparison to most regular sized stores I size down - like I am a 4x at Old Navy - a 3x at Torrid.

Answer: DON'T ORDER SHOES FROM THEM! I recently returned a pair of sandals that did not fit. I returned them the next day and fortunately returned via UPS so I had a tracking number. It took almost a month to get an acknowledgement that they received the return ONLY because I kept sending them the UPS proof of delivery, and then ---- THEY ONLY REFUNDED HALF THE PURCHASE PRICE!
