Torrid's website is a throw back to the 1990s, when the internet was new and the glitches were legion. The glitches continue to be legion on the Torrid Website. This is the ONLY website that will advertise a fabulous sale and then...NOT LET YOU 'CHECK OUT' THE MERCHANDISE! FOR HOURS! And then, DAYS! Maybe even WEEKS! If you're still inclined to check! Meantime, "the fabulous sale" is ALL SOLD OUT! And, as you continue to TRY to 'check out,' the website constantly reminds you that your items are SELLING OUT! Truly, IT'S LIKE BEING IN THE TWILIGHT ZONE! SO done! Canceling my card, I'm SO done!
I think it's extremely unfair that torrid raise their clearance price When they added the Bogo sale. I also I'm not fond of their delivery system. It tells you that the Merchandise you bought is arriving by UPS but you don't find out until the last minute that it's not coming by UPS and they transferred your merchandise to USPS. There were a couple times that I ordered from them & I was missing an items & both times the items that I was missing were no longer available so had to settle something else because I didn't want to have to deal with it taking forever to get my money put back on my card. Neither of those times did Torrid offer anything for The inconvenience. I order a lot of stuff online and when A Company messes up they always try to make things right and offer a discount on your next purchase but not Torrid.
I placed my order on June 3rd, didn't get processed until June 21st. I needed a few items out of this order for a special event on the 24th-26th of june. Checked my order just tonight and they were just shipped from Ontario. Purolator wont deliver them till tuesday! Never giving them my business again.
I bought jeans I ended up not liking on me and ive tried to return in store which they wanted to give me $24 when I paid $85.50. I took the jeans went home called to get my return slip on the 27th. Ive now called the 28 th, 29th, 30th now its Dec 1st and ive gotta call once again. So irritating

Absolutely hands down the worst online shopping experience/ customer service I have ever in my life experienced. Torrid just lost a long time customer. Will never again do business with them again.
I have called 4 times regarding an order I placed on Black Friday. Each time, I am told that the items have been pulled and are ready for shipment but haven't been processed at their warehouse - a warehouse that they are blaming for huge delays, but they are doing nothing to remedy the problem. They have a ridiculous wait time to even talk to anybody - obviously an attempt to get people to give up and hang up the phone! I will NEVER order from this joke of a company, again, and I caution other buyers to BEWARE!
Found a nice dress for my grangmothers funeral but could not try on the dress do to the covid (which is understanding). Tried to return the dress the next day (9/2/20) and was told I could not return the dress unless I "became a loyal member". Im already in mourning for the death of grandmother and Im running out of time and this employer completely took advantage of my situation. I highly advise EVERYONE to never shop at this store at the Southlands Mall in Aurora CO. Very nice store for plus size women but the worst staff...

As you read by the headline, the total on my email confirmation was $150 higher than the total I agreed to! They did some serious shenanigans with the discounts and it ended up being higher than what I agreed to pay. I screen shot the total when I was checking out because I had a bad feeling about it. When I tried to contact customer service, she made no attempt to speak in any way that was comprehensible, I finally got out of her that I should call back and select # 2 which was automated at first and then it went to music he! Hold where it was never answered. I emailed them to cancel the wildly overpriced order but I wont hold my breath. NEVER AGAIN will I order anything from this crap company. It just doesn't have to be this hard every step of the way. They will be getting this order back. However, when I went to the website, returns were not offered so I have a feeling I will have to fight to do that to. Talk about making you earn your money 5 times to spend it once! I bet they make me pay for return shipping as well. Buyers remorse doesn't even come close to how much I regret clicking on their website.
I've never ordered anything from them but I ordered a lot today and I'm not for sure my regular clothes size because I wear a 4X 5x in regular clothes so the highest they go is a 30 do you think they're going to fit? I tried to do a question but it made me do a review LOL
Some of their shirts are too tight and others look like dresses on me. I'm afraid to order a pair of jeans from them and I am tired of paying for shipping and returns.

I love torrid, but their custor service sucks. And I felt like a idiot by the reps expressions for my concerns over the phone. For plus size clothes and the prices we pay, ya think they had more friendlier customer service people. I found long as I found my right size after a couple tries, I dont have the need to speak to a rep. I figured out how their sizes run and when I need to go up or down a size or order what I need. AVOID CUSTOMER SERVICE!
I am in the process of trying to cancel an order online. Their customer service team member Michael told me nothing can be done, in a very rude tone several times over.
(*Side note* The first time I called I was disconnected whilst on hold. The second time I called, I was connected to a team member who couldn't hear me and carried on to have a conversation with some pretty brutal words used- maybe their team members should watch what they say into their headsets when they are connected to a caller!)
Anyway, I ordered two products online 20 hours ago, and this morning I received an email saying that one of the items was cancelled on their end and removed from my order. I called their customer service line as soon as it opened. I do not want to make the order if I cannot have both items due to your high shopping cost. All I want to do is cancel the order, and I am finding this extremely difficult to do so, which is hard to believe when this was a change made by Torrid. Eventually, Michael put me on hold to escalate my problem, and then came back to me saying the cancellation can be made and I will receive an email confirmation (still waiting on that email!).
Their customer service team should not be so harsh without knowing if they can resolve an issue or not. I have shopped with Torrid online before, and never had an issue. I'm afraid this time has made me question shopping with them via your website in the future, simply to avoid any errors and their customer service approach.
Torrid donates money to Marxist groups to help push their agendas. When checking out the clerk was very angry that I would not donate to their cause. Torrid should be ashamed of themselves
I do not know what happened to this company, but there was no such terrible attitude towards customers before, I have been ordering clothes from them for a long time, and orders came on time and without reminders (in 2021 for sure). Now they don't have time to send an order in two or three weeks, during this time the ordered goods, if they don't fit, magically become the final sale, and they can't be returned, they cancel the goods that are in stock, respond to emails after a week or don't respond at all. Tin! And this is despite the fact that I received an email from their support team saying that:
** Please note that our website and order fulfillment process have changed recently. In order to better serve our customers, orders will now be processed and shipped much faster.***
This looks like a mockery against the background of what is happening with the delivery of orders. Needless to say, you have to literally "knock out" your paid orders. No obligations to customers. The delivery dates that they themselves specify are not respected. Everything is very banal - they take money, and the goods will be sent someday. I will never order here again, despite the fact that I have been buying from them for many years. I want to add. Now on June 21, I wanted to write a letter to the support service, but it is impossible to send it. Either they have completely disabled this option, or I can't do it from my account, and it's impossible to get through to them. I. e. You can only pay, but you can't get your order and you shouldn't bother them for such trifles. Wow!
I want to the Torrid in the Fashion District the young lady name Jay was awesome and very helpful I was looking for a Strapless bra for my daughter who is very top heavy 44H Jay took her time getting the Measurements helped my daughter try it on and even gave great suggestions unfortunately they didn't have her size in the store at the time but was very helpful with helping me order it online Thank You so much Jay we will be seeing you soon
Purchased jeans a size smaller and they still stretched so much wearing it once. Washed them in hopes they may shrink a bit, and they still stretched so much wearing them. I called to see to explain the situation, that their jeans stretch two sizes and I just wanted an even exchange for a size smaller. They refused because I wore them already! But that WAS the problem. I wore them and they were FALLING OFF me! HORRIBLE COMPANY! POOR QUALITY CLOTHES. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. Shop elsewhere!

Answer: I recently returned an item after waiting more than two weeks for delivery. It took almost a month for them to respond and acknowledge that they received the returned item. I never wore the item (shoes) because they were too small and Torrid only refunded 1/2 of the purchase price. RIP OFF!
Answer: They are the most consistent in sizes that I have found - so depends on what store you are comparing them to and your body shape. I am kind of boxed shape (except for cutting in under the bust I am big everywhere) - they run smaller than Lane Bryant for me - but for my friend who is chest heavy she wears the same sizes at both. In comparison to most regular sized stores I size down - like I am a 4x at Old Navy - a 3x at Torrid.
Answer: It's totally normal, unfortunately. I'm on day 13 now and was told today it would be another 7 days before my order shipped.
Answer: DON'T ORDER SHOES FROM THEM! I recently returned a pair of sandals that did not fit. I returned them the next day and fortunately returned via UPS so I had a tracking number. It took almost a month to get an acknowledgement that they received the return ONLY because I kept sending them the UPS proof of delivery, and then ---- THEY ONLY REFUNDED HALF THE PURCHASE PRICE!
