I have used Top Resume to rewrite my resume and they took more time than anticipated but finally I got into an internship the next day with the rewritten resume. I don't know its luck or my resume. Hiring manager has seen my resume and told me this is what I'm looking for and I got an interview call.
I worked with Jen S on tailoring my resume. At first I felt my resume was good as it was, however, after having it reviewed, felt there was some improvement that could be made. Jen took my resume to amazing. I've only applied to a few positions with the new resume, but have already received interviews, which I do not think is a coincidence I'm getting after the update. She was professional and courteous and only a few very minor minor items were updated. Thanks to Jen S for all the hardwork.
The process worked very well however not happy with the end result. Have not gotten any hits since leveraging the newly designed resume. Found lots of misspelled words during the process. Also don't feel that all my ideas were captured.
Resume requirements change so often I decided to have mine professionally done this time. Best decision I have made. My writer Madaline worked with me and I had control over edits until I was satisfied with my resume. I needed help with my resume in adding catch words for the web filters. My profession needs certain words that make the search filters come up with more hits. After 2 reviews, my original resume looked great. I will recommend this company.
My experience with TopResume has been a very good one. I have ut off getting my resume updated quite some time due to costs such. However I was not getting the exposure from my current Resume. I decided to use a professional resume service. With the free evaluation from TopResume and after reviewing their comments, I decided to invest the money after looking at the cost compared to other companies. Not to mention their packages are very reasonably priced. The format of my resume was great and the wording was way better than what I had on my original resume. I definitely recommend to use TopResume and have also told others about TopResume.

After being part of a company downsizing I was nervous to spend this much money with no income. I felt my resume was great to begin with. After receiving a free evaluation I realized maybe my resume did need help. I sent it to a few companies and it was posted on a few job boards with no results. I decided to give top resume a whirl. I was looking to go in a new direction without starting at the bottom. After filling out a questionnaire, I had my first resume draft, cover letter and follow up letter within 48 hours. None of them needed changes. I can not believe the difference in the way the resume was written and how the formatting flowed. I had interview requests for the first 3 jobs I've applied for! Within a week I had three offers in my mailbox. Top Resume is the best money I have spent in a long time. It was well worth the investment.
I'm glad I had Top Resume work on my resume. The format needed to be updated badly and it looks so much better now! My only complaint is that I wish they had more technical people available to work on resumes. It was clear the lady that worked on mine had no idea what basic engineering words needed to be on my resume because she kept taking then off.
TopResume was very easy to work with, and the pricing was great. My writer's name was Kim. There was a bit of a delay in getting my first draft, but the rep who responded to me was very apologetic, and provided me with a couple of options as to how they could redeem themselves. Once Kim got to work, everything moved quickly. She answered several questions, and made some requested revisions. I was very happy with the final result, and would confidently recommend TopResume to anyone looking for this type of service.
I looked at several companies to help me rewrite my resume and found a wide variance of not only cost but how I felt about the representatives that I spoke to. Some seemed to really try to understand my background and goals and others didn't. With TopResume, I found both a very reasonable cost and people that made the effort to understand me and my goals. I am very pleased with the job they did, the responsiveness, and customer care.
Working with TopResume was a great experience, my writer didn't miss a deadline and did a fantastic job customizing the documents to the jobs I am targeting. I absolutely love both my cover letter and resume while both are a huge upgrade from my previous documents.
However, I applied for nearly 50 vacancies and did not got an interview or a positive response. That's the only negative thing to say that got me wondered if it is not efficient enough.
Note: I will update the review to 5 stars if I get a positive response from any job but I strongly recommend TopResume.
I had TopResume rewrite my resume after I found it was not doing the job. The suggestions they gave me were very helpful in providing them information to work with. My review suggestions and needs were met very quickly and Melodee was able to take my requests and make very good sense out of them. I will save the last star for after I use this resume and it does the trick which I fully expect it will.
