I closed out my account because Murph A did an outstanding job with my resume, cover letter and thank you letter, but the linkedIn purchase of $50 was not worth it. I never responded to Murph A about that because I simply did not have the quality time to respond. I could have just copy and pasted the info from my resume into my linkedIn account, I thought the agent would go into my LinkedIn account and add all of the necessary info into my LinkedIn account instead of sending me a document where I have to copy and paste it of which, as I stated, I would have simply just done, so the $50 dollars was absolutely not worth it for the LinkedIn purchase. I would respectfully request a refund for that if there is any possibility of that. Thank you.
This service is extremely unprofessional and a waste of your time and money. My wife and I paid for the Career Confidence package and an additional $50 for a discussion with the resume writer. Not only did the resume writer not show up for the appointment, but there was no email beforehand saying they would not show up or wanted to reschedule. They have not offered any recourse and we want a refund of our money and to use another service. I do not believe any of the reviews because a company that employs people who have no regard for our time is not one to be trusted.
My resume has not looked any better. The interview coach was great, there was things that I did not know that would make the interview smother

TopResume is a rudimentary resume writing site. They make huge promises and deliver less than stellar results. Their experts have a difficult time with communication and the documents I received were beyond underwhelming. I have had no success with their customer service and regret every second I have had to deal with them. Despite my complains, I have been stonewalled and embarrassed. DO NOT PAY THIS COMPANY! You are flushing your money down the toilet.
I received a canned response with no contact info. Fitting for this company. After demanding to speak to an executive over email, I received a call from *******929 and spoke with Emanuel. He said the company will be working with my credit company and refunding my purchase. I called my credit company and they said you have refused to refund the purchase. Your team is misrepresenting your intentions.

I had an outdated resume and several documents that would need to be pieces together to complete a new resume. The company, after acknowledging that it was delayed in providing a draft, offered a $50 dollar discount off the $699 price tag. I had asked for customer service to downgrade my service from the moment a writer was assigned on day 4 of my process. Support services finally contacts me on day 9 to let me know that since a draft has been completed, they can't downgrade my service. Makes no sense since I paid for an expedited 2-day service that took 6 days. Please save your money. They are selling a premium service they are not resourced to provide.

Once you complete the writing process, your cover letter and resume goes to a page Career.io where they try and redo the documents that you worked on with the writer and what you just paid for. Besides there are hardly any jobs. If a representative from TopResume would like to talk to me to discuss more of the issues in detail, I would welcome it.
I'm not sure how they got such high ratings but it did not reflect that in my final copy. There was quite a lot of poor grammatical issues throughout the two pages. I am very disappointed in this company, I spent about $179 for their help, and ended up having to re-write 70% of the cover letter and resume myself anyways. Don't waste your time and money.
Just spent $219 on a resume rewrite and cover letter and they were no better than what I could do myself. I have used the new formatted resumes for about 30 job postings and received little response for jobs I am qualified for.
I would not recommend using their service.

I ordered a Executive Priority Resume Package, assuming this service will handled by an expert, unfortunately the service was with poor quality. However the price was somehow fair as had a discount, so no regret. All in all if you look for high quality services I recommend to look for other providers or at least don't go with Executive Bundle which is kind of money wasting.
My writer, Keith, was able to extrapolate the details from my questionnaire and former resume so well I felt as if he had worked with me on the job. He did an amazing job translating my skills and accomplishments into words that connects with today's market. I also worked with an interview coach, Stephanie, and she was great getting me ready to get back into the workforce and understanding where the market has been in the last year. I highly recommend TopResume especially if you want to get current with the market.

Nathaniel was great in our phone call appointment. His reassurance of how my resume looked with summaries posted for every job gave me confidence. It was surprising and gave me worry because other experts often state, resumes should be short, concise and in bullet points. I ordered the resume / cover letter combo. The first draft of my new resume contained quite a few formatting and grammatical errors. I contacted Customer Service, and as I understood their response I was not buying a finished product, but the opportunity to collaborate with a writer. Apparently my part of the collaboration was proofreading. I was not offered a full or partial refund, nor the opportunity to work with a different writer. I wonder if Top Resume has grown too fast to maintain their quality of service, as their reviews from several years ago are really excellent.
I've only had my new resume format about 24 hours, with only one application sent with it so far, so it's not like there's been enough time to see if there's been any improvement in interest. They should probably send out review requests after 30 days for this service.

Top Resume is not worth the money! My resume writer (who I think was a bot) crammed my information into a template. She gave me canned answers to my questions and simply made my current resume look pretty. I never had a conversation with her, verbal or written, about my profession, experience, or skills. The cover letter I received is terrible, and I will not send it to potential employers.
Answer: It depends, if you want to pay for a mediocre format riddled with errors that has the language equivalent of a high-schooler. You will end up paying $100 for something you could have sat down and done in an hour and a half.

I had to file with the BBB to get a refund after never being contacted. This is a SCAM company - you are better off writing your own resume, trust me on this
