Trying to download tickets is a nightmare. Unless you had a degree from MIT, good luck being an elder person! Going to try and call tomorrow maybe talking to a real person will help
Unfortunately there is no option to leave negative stars. I purchased tickets for Earth Wind and Fire and Chicago concert back in August 2024 but the concert was cancelled due to lightening and thunder. I received an email on the following day that the concert will be rescheduled TBD without any further details. Apparently the concert was rescheduled for September 2024--but I never received a notification. This is what the email from Ticket Center read: "Earth Wind and Fire and Chicago (Postponed - Date TBD) on Saturday, August 3,2024 has been postponed. We will notify you through email with the new date and time when the event has been rescheduled." Never received an update again from Ticket Center.
When I called to ask why I didn't receive any notification. They explained that it was the consumer's responsibility to check the website and not on Ticket Center to notify the consumer when the concert was going to be rescheduled. I paid $773 for the tickets as a present to my mother. Now shame on me for using Ticket Center.
BE CAREFUL---DO NOT...I REPEAT...DO NOT USE TICKET CENTER. They will take your money and kick you to the curb, no sense of accountability on behalf of the consumer. Whether or not you receive the notification--that is not their problem. As long as you pay.
BEWARE when you check out your purchase of tickets, Ticket-Center website took over your original website, it is a Scam. When you contact them, AI responded with wired names and no last name, all SCAM!
BEWARE – SCAM ALERT!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This was, without a doubt, the worst ticket-buying experience I've ever had. Ticket-Center charges outrageous markups—up to 200% more than other platforms—but what's even worse is their deceptive ticket delivery process.
I purchased tickets for an NFL playoff game and later needed to change my seats. Their customer service was a nightmare, feeding me misleading and bogus information at every turn. In the end, I had to repurchase better seats, resulting in a $2,500 loss.
To make matters worse, the tickets I bought directly from Ticketmaster arrived within 15 minutes, while the ones from **Ticket-Center didn't show up until the day before the game—**a full two weeks after my purchase! Their excuse? Some nonsense about being a "third-party reseller" that prevents them from releasing tickets until 48 hours before the event.
This company is a ripoff, and their shady practices make it nearly impossible to resell your tickets if your plans change. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM. Save yourself the frustration and go with a reputable source instead.
🚨 TOTAL SCAM – NEVER AGAIN! 🚨BEWARE
Several phone calls with service. They pick up calls but can never get the link fixed to actually get me tickets. They asked me to try on mobile web, app and desktop. I tried incognito and clearing cookies but nothing worked. I still do not have my 4 tickets. So this is a reseller company. I ordered by mistake thinking it was Ticketmaster. Whoever resold the tickets to Ticket center had them in Ticketmaster. However, the link does not work and they keep saying they will send a new one but they need the reseller to do it. Very confusing. Awful and I think I lost $500. The email for my order came from Ticket center but to transfer my tickets to my phne to gain entry I needed to click on a link which was a ticketmaster link and this is broken. Ticker master profile says I have no tickets. So just waiting. Awful company.
If zero stars were an option, I'd have marked this business as such. Straight up price gauging. Looks like an arm of the venue. I ended up paying 4x the ticket price available at the venue. They claim to be a "marketplace" for buyers and sellers reflecting supply and demand. They actually are in the business of deceiving buyers. Outrageous.
Do yourself a favor and avoid these scammers. Misleading, confusing duplicitious website, you buy tickets before you realize what happened, confusing terms.they sell tickets that don't exist.
They company presented itself as the buying vehicle for Quinnipiac University, claimed there were few tickets left, and then charged five times what QU was actually charging for what turned out to be an abundance of seats still available for the men's basketball game against Rider U. Tried to cancel my order immediatley, but they refused to cancel it.
The markup they charge is ridiculous!
NEVER use them again. Their biz model seems to be duping you into thinking that they are the official site of the ticket source. TERRIBLE COMPANY
I saw an ad on Facebook. Clicked the link for Nutcracker tickets. Here are my complaints and the reasons why I would NEVER recommend using this business again:
1) The original tickets' face values were $50 each. The given price of the ones I purchased were $129 each. That was pretty high markup but ok, scalping is common so I bought them as they were row X and seemed close to the stage.
2) After their TicketsCenter service fee, (which I thought was already included in the price) the total came to around $338.95. I called to complain but they got me on terms and conditions, which were not easily viewable via phone at the time of purchase. So even if I call my credit card company, tehy would probably side with the vendor. Now $50 tickets were marked up over $120 each or $170 each.
3) The seats ended up being mediocre at best. We were way in the back. I think the wrong map was displayed or they made the balcony seats look like floor space. Either way the seats sucked. Luckily the show was not sold out and my daughter and I relocated once the show started.
4) Lastly, they don't email you the tickets until the day before the show. This is ridiculous, so if you want to wait until the last minute to get your tickets then these guys will oblige. I waited several weeks for my tickets to arrive.
Thats it. Not happy, but lesson learned, and I hope I can spare others from being ripped off by this company.
TICKET CENTER IS A 3RD PARTY SCAMMER OVERCHARGING FOR TICKET PURCHASES FOR EVENTS.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. I PAID $261.50 FOR $90 TICKETS TO HERB ALPERT AT THE PARKER IN FT LAUDERDALE FL BECAUSE GOOGLE AD ALLOWED THEM TO COME UP WHEN I GOOGLED THE PARKER. THEIR SITE LOOKED AND POSED AS THE PARKER! THEY DID NOT TELL ME THEY WERE 3RD PARTY SELLER UNTIL I ALREADY PURCHASED AND SAW THE RECEIPT! HORRIBLE COMPANY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I REPORTED THEM TO THE FTC. YOU CAN'T EVEN LOOK UP WHO THEY ARE AS THEY HAVE SO MANY LAYERS OF LLC'S PROTECTING THEM. PLEASE FILE WITH THE FTC IF THEY SCAM YOU TOO. THEY WORK UNDER MANY NAMES BUT ALL THE SAME PERSON. ALSO COMPLAIN TO GOOGE.
I bought 4 tickets and paid $3,000 only to have them cancelled for no reason. I then went on the robot chat and that was no help!
I ordered 4 tickets to an FDU-Central Connecticut basketball game on Jan. 18 for $29 a ticket, plus a $6 service charge per ticket. When I received the email tickets, they were $10 each. A reseller is supposed to offer the tickets for less not more. I am going to report you to the Dept. of Consumer Affairs unless you offer me a refund or a discount.
I was trying to get tickets for a local concert at the Radio Room and they were charging me $59/ticket and saying there was seating together but Radio Room doesn't really have much seating, it's not that kind of venue. So I went to the Radio Room tickets directly and the real cost of the tickets were $15/ticket. Ticket-center.com was going to charge me three times the cost and pocket the difference. I would never buy tickets from these guys after this experience.
It would be helpful if the graphic of seating assignments was clearly. I had a difficult time making the seating assignment options. I like to sit in the balcony...the center section about two or three rows from the railing. I could not tell how far away the seats were that I ended up purchasing. I wanted two seats in the balcony in the center section about two or three rows from the balcony railing. It seemed like I ended up buying two tickets in the 'peanut gallery'?
The tickets are $25 each but I paid $79 per ticket because this is not a ticket website. It is a place for people to resale tickets for 3 times the ticket price. I am embarrassed that I fell for this.
The parking you will be receiving is NOT on or even near the Ampitheater. Mine was almost a mile away. You are buying blind. The amphitheater has its own parking when you arrive. Further once you buy the online parking it is NON-REFUNDABLE.
Purchased tickets to a Christmas program on 12/14 back in August. This company makes itself look like Ticket Center, except it "Tickets Center" and you'll never notice it unless you read the real fine print. The worst part is they don't tell you until you get your confirmation that you won't receive your tickets until literally the day before the event (THREE AND A HALF MONTHS AFTER PURCHASING!) and that if you booked more than 4 tickets, they may not be together (um, that's the entire point of buying the tickets together.) You get no help, just different responses everytime. I was told they could assist with reselling them for me and then I was told they couldn't. I was assured by several that the date given in the email was just a "placeholder" to give the seller "time" (who needs 4 months to electronically transfer tickets?!?) And the worst part in all of this is when I filed the claim with my bank, they fraudulently told them that THEY PROVIDED THE TICKETS TO ME (NO they have not, that's all I've been asking for! At this point I chalking the experience up to learning and the ridiculous money up to the dummy tax (believe me, I learn quick and planned to let EVERYONE know about this!) but ALL I wanted is what I paid for over 3 months ago, but still nothing. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE! I wish I had seen these reviews and even known to look out for this scammer site. Previously in Google and other sites, I have only left 5 star reviews, but I had to warn others. I also filed with the BBB (along with thousands of others…) Hopefully they will be shut down soon!
I've never heard of a fee for sending an email. The biggest problem is that there is not an option to pick them up at the box office and avoid the email fee. In this day and age I am shocked that there is only one option for receiving the tickets.
I purchased tickets for a show in July of 2024. Forget, for a moment, that I thought I was still on a website sanctioned by the venue and placed an order for tickets. I realized after the purchase that they were secondary market tickets (and I probably overpaid) but I was happy to have the seats so I waited for my tickets to arrive. Eight hours before the show, I still had not received my tickets. When I called Tickets Center again and after a long wait on hold, I was sent this message, "This email is to notify you that order #662XXXXX has been canceled. The seller has informed us that they were unable to fulfill your order because the tickets you had requested are no longer available. Your order will be refunded." So they let the seller keep the tickets listed or list them on another site and someone OFFERED more money than I PAID, so my tickets = not available. The secondary market is always a gamble, but these guys take it to a whole new level - everything looks legit until you don't have your tickets.
Answer: They will not refund your money. They are scam artists who mimic real ticket sites and venue box offices and take advantage of consumers. They are dishonest and horrible and should not be operating.
Answer: You have to call or chat. They aren't very good at communicating and won't if you don't try to get in contact with them.
Answer: I was unfortunate enough to innocently purchase 2 tickets to a Broadway show through Ticket Center. I assumed I was purchasing tickets from the theatre not through this third party website. I asked for a refund and they said NO so I contacted my bank, the better business bureau, and getting a lawyer. This company needs to be shut down!
Answer: It is a problem they buy the cheapest seat they can find and when they send you the seat there isn't enough time to get it resolved or a refund. GET A REFUND if you can and go to Ticket Master or another real honest site. I paid 385.00 for a great seat yes one seat and deceived a 65.00 garbage seat in the back.
