They list several review sites and show they have good ratings, however they gigged us for 5 times the face value of the tickets we purchased. The 2 tickets were $90 total, they charged $468!
It appeared from the venue map they showed online that we were getting much better tickets than we actually got when we picked them up at will-call.
The logos on their site made us feel we were purchasing from the venue - come to find out the venue sells through another vendor.
Our bad for not being more careful, but we are passing this warning on to others!
As a third party vendor, TicketsCenter is hoping you'll buy quickly because you don't have the time to do further research. I was rushed, thought I was on MLB.com, and purchased tickets that were three times as expensive as the main site. They are not transferable or refundable. Lesson learned.
This is a scam website that makes it look like they are the official booking site, but only resells tickets. They clearly have gotten in trouble and how have to explain what they're doing. No refunds, no exchanges, no help. They didn't even have customer support and ignored all messages until now.
Link on Hollywood bowl site makes me think that I am buying tickets directly from Hollywood Bowl. Go through the check out process, then realized that it was a scam. Immediately contacted scammer and he said too late. You can resell your tickets when I get them to you two days before the event, even though my purchase was made a month before the event. Needless to say, the guy was no help. I will need to resolve this through credit card company.
I purchased tickets to see Joss Stone at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville. I received two confirmation emails fo her back in December. Joss Stone never performed. It was not until the opening act came out after intermission that I learn Joss was not performing. Another couple who purchased tickets through StubHub was notified three days earlier. Ticket-center refused any kind of compensation because there was no complete cancellation. I'm out the airfare, hotel, meals and tickets. A $2,000 concert I didn't see.
Not only did they sell me tickets that were not available but then changed it to different tickets that were priced out twice as much as other sellers. Don't rush it like I did. Do your research and don't waste your time with this company they just Jack up the price (x2 minimum) for profit. Congrats you guys were able to swindle an extra $100 from me…good job, $#*!s!
I paid over twice as much for baseball game tickets as I would have from their own website. And of course, they don't do refunds, so I'm stuck having paid way too much. A $13 processing fee per ticket? On top of the ticket mark up price for the actual seats? I will never again use this site.
I am stuck in Israel with no way out. Because of the war, I cannot get a flight until next week. I asked for a refund for my Sunday 10/15 NYC Ballet tickets. No Way they responded. It's your problem.
We don't care. Our policy is no refund.
I would never recommend or use this company again
Please don't ever do like I did and purchase non-existent expensive tickets from them. This is a complex criminal operation, with a call center full of helpful people who swear up and down you will get your tickets- but you never do. We purchased tickets way over the going rate and never even received tickets. This was a show I have been looking forward to for a year and I was supposed to share it with my parents. Now we are out $703 without tickets.
This company is using deceptive and predatory practices to dupe consumers into paying hyper-gouged prices for events that are not sold out. The confirmation email I received does not have instructions on how to access the electronic tickets the company "sold" me and they are not responding to customer service requests. Visit the event venue's legitimate site and/or Ticketmaster first!
Wanted to order tickets to a performance in June at Dr Phillips Theater in Orlando. Went to their website or so I thought. But was apparently re-directed to ticker-center.com unknowingly. Placed order. When email received and showed it came from tickets-center.com and not directly from theater, did Google search to find out this place is a scam! Beware - do not place an order until you know for sure it is from the organization that you think you are ordering from.
Tickets-Center refuses to cancel tickets! But my credit card company has cancelled payment thank goodness.
I've never purchased tickets outside of Ticket Master and now I know why. Paid $766.47 for 4 Luke Bryan tickets with face value of $65 and should have cost $260 + tax. I'm so disappointed I feel for this scam and don't understand why Tickets Center shelters the identify of secondary marketplace scammers. What a sham!
This 1 ticket cost me about triple the cost of buying a ticket elsewhere. It's all general admission seats only for purchase. I wish I checked around for prices before I purchased my ticket here
My wife purchased tickets for a show next month. She believed she was purchasing from an original seller site. She paid $287 for two tickets that are currently selling for $39.50. When I called the site, less than 2 hours after the purchase, I was told all sales are final. I was also informed that the price of tickets go up and down based on availability. Currently the venue still has about 50% of their tickets unsold. I was also advised that if I feel I paid too much for these tickets I should sell them on social media or another market place
My wife got ripped off and this site accepts ZERO responsibility.
Purchased tickets which required full payment up front but tickets are still not delivered to me via email. Customer service explains that they are being transferred from the seller and I should receive them 1-2 days prior to the date of my event. I purchased as a gift but I have nothing to show and I'm worried about telling the gift recipient because what if the tickets never arrive? While generic, customer service was pleasant, but could not provide me with the tickets I purchased or a refund so I could go elsewhere.
I recently have purchased two Paul McCartney tickets. My part where I didn't pay attention on who I was buying them from. I should have did it locally. However, I also feel a company should be understanding and have help for people who are concerned on if a company is even real or not if that makes any sense. Not once so far have I talked to a real person. They don't respond to emails at all I've sent them two emails. You can only talk to them over a "live" chat. I noticed I payed way to much for my tickets and have been arguing with them the past two-three days now. They won't return my money, all they want to do is "resell" the tickets. Never use these people again. I'm on hold right now writing this review to make sure even if this a reliable and real company. Let's just say I spent over $2000 when I should not have. Do not use these people I know I never will again.
So unbelievably disappointed in this website! It of course came up first when buying tickets to a sporting event. I was under the impression that tickets were $44 each. Unknowingly I purchased these tickets, when I went to print them out the actual ticket price was $15. They also had a service fee and digital ticket price. So for $60 worth of tickets I payed $ 235.00
So upsetting and frustrating. Will never use this website again. Warning to others do not use!
Ticketcenter.com is an website based out of India. The sellers are Indian, the "dedicated team" is Indian--so therefore, if the tickets get to you in time--you might have a good experience. You will pay double, because this website has managed to inflate prices and urgency for the buyer is to land tickets. However, you are dealing with people on the other side of the world looking to turn a profit from excited concert goers.
I received the worst customer service the call center had absolutely no clue how to handle the situation and just kept saying they were sorry but this is all they could do. Unfortunately due to the blizzard We were unable to make it into Chicago for a show we had purchased tickets for, and they would absolutely not work with us or give us even a respectable person to speak with on the phone that knew what was going on. We lost out on so much money, even though there was no physical way for us to get to Chicago.
I mistakenly purchased tickets through "Tickets-Center.com" thinking it was a venue site. The Spoon concert at Palace Theatre on 4/21/22 had to be postponed and moved to a new venue with general admission only. I purchased reserved balcony seating ($145.00 per ticket) and the new venue tickets were only $39.50 per ticket. They refused to work with me on a credit or partial refund of the difference. They would only cite that their purchase policy doesn't allow refunds.
I have learned my lesson and will still enjoy the show, but I will never use this site again and will actively share my experience using this company.
Answer: They will not refund your money. They are scam artists who mimic real ticket sites and venue box offices and take advantage of consumers. They are dishonest and horrible and should not be operating.
Answer: You have to call or chat. They aren't very good at communicating and won't if you don't try to get in contact with them.
Answer: I was unfortunate enough to innocently purchase 2 tickets to a Broadway show through Ticket Center. I assumed I was purchasing tickets from the theatre not through this third party website. I asked for a refund and they said NO so I contacted my bank, the better business bureau, and getting a lawyer. This company needs to be shut down!
Answer: It is a problem they buy the cheapest seat they can find and when they send you the seat there isn't enough time to get it resolved or a refund. GET A REFUND if you can and go to Ticket Master or another real honest site. I paid 385.00 for a great seat yes one seat and deceived a 65.00 garbage seat in the back.
