If I could leave 0 stars I would

I logged into Ticket Master to purchase a ticket, When going through the process it only gave me one option to select for section 306. I tried everything and it would only let me select the one seat. I went through the process, then logged back on immediately and it all the sudden had 50-75 different options to choose from and the one I needed was there. I contacted Ticketmaster and they refused to look into the incident or even help me out. I asked either for a refund or just a credit since it was a glitch in their system. They absolutely would not look into it and said they do not offer any type of refund or credit. I tried working through paypal and they could not help as well, and just because the agreement says sections may vary from time to time. They refused to help. There was a glitch in their system and no one will help. I am a level one trauma nurse that worked all throughout covid and this was the one thing i wanted to do to treat myself from working directly with covid patients 60 hrs a week, yes working well over 10-15 hrs of OT a week to care for ICU level patients. And pay pal/ ticket master has shown their true colors in the fact they do not care about their customers just money. A glitch in their system and i have to pay the price for it. This should be looked into and Ticket master should be investigated for incidents like this. Its not fair to their customers, i even understood if they couldn't give me a refund and would have gladly accepted the credit, but they were rude and unwilling to help or even look into the matter. I do believe they do this stuff on purpose to get people to end up in this situation just like me. My purchases were not even a minute apart. There is no way their system magically had 75 new options when I only had one and nothing else a minute ago.

I purchased tickets from Ticketmaster for Jerry Seinfeld at The Reno Event Center on June 6,2019. I purchased the tickets for my husbands birthday. As the date of the event approached, Saturday October 9,2019, I received a few emails from Ticketmaster about the event.
On the date of the event I attempted to download the tickets to my cell phone. The link came up but when I clicked on it I got a message that said "You have no upcoming events at this time." I tried several times with no success. When we got to the venue we went to the box office with the order number. They told me that the number was not a Ticketmaster number, so they checked the seat numbers and told us that the tickets were in someone else's name. I asked them if they could check to see if someone was sitting in those seats they would not do that. All the employees in the box office were trying to help, they even took my phone to try to download the tickets but were unsuccessful. I tried to call Ticketmaster customer service but of course they were closed. Feeling very unset and frustrated all we could do was leave. I was in tears.
The next day I called Ticketmaster customer service to get a refund. They explained to me that I had purchased resale tickets from someone else selling their tickets on the Ticketmaster website. I was totally confused and had no idea that anyone with tickets could resell them using the Ticketmaster website. After a Long conversation with customer service the conclusion was the name on the original tickets was not transferred into my name by Ticketmaster. The associate I talked to told me that an investigation would have to be done and they would contact me with the results.
I called Ticketmaster once a week for three weeks with no answer about my refund. Finally I called again on Thursday November 14,2019 and was told I would not be receiving a refund. Can you imagine how I felt? My husband and I are below poverty level, I had to sell some of my dead mothers jewelry to be able to even buy these tickets for my husband. I paid $438.84 for a service that we didn't get, and it was out of my control. It was a Ticketmaster error yet we are being punished.

I treated myself to prog and jazz/rock fusion pioneers Soft Machine at the TLA Sunday night. It was the second stop of the British band's first U.S. tour in 43 years. My admiration for them is deep-rooted; I purchased "Soft Machine 4" back in the mid-70s and rediscovered the group several years later when my college roommate randomly put "4" on the dorm room turntable, leading to a semester-long exploration of the Canterbury-bred group. None of the original members were present Sunday, but lightning-quick and remarkably inventive guitarist John Etheridge joined in '75, drummer John Marshall came on board in '72 (capably filling the huge void left by cofounder Robert Wyatt) and bassist Roy Babbington dates back to the aforementioned "Soft Machine 4" (1971). Add Theo Travis (woodwinds, keyboards) and the quartet delivers impassioned prog classics "Hazard Profile Part 1" and "Gesolreut" and bridges old to new with its updated version of "The Man Who Waved at Trains," originally from the 1975 album "Bundles" but reimagined on the freshly minted "Hidden Details" album. Soft Machine effectively intertwines high-energy numbers with the pastoral. Theo's rapid-fire sax play on "Peff" and Etheridge's frenetic guitar runs on "Tale of Taliesin" playfully volley with the ethereal "Kings and Queens" (1971) and 2018's "14-Hour Dream." Soft Machine, as one audience member quipped, "may look like a bunch of old guys but they certainly play as if they have eternal youth" -- and play they did for a searing hour and 45 minutes on this damp autumn night on South Street. I wanted to purchase real tickets for my husbands birthday for the NASCAR Race Loudon NH - I went to the speedways' website to buy the tickets so I could have the NASCAR tickets which everyone else and their sister seem to have in their possession. I paid the full face value PLUS fees PLUS shipping so I could have original NASCAR tickets only to get in the mail the generic Ticketmaster Tickets. I went onto the online chat for Ticketmaster and had someone by the name of Alfredo who told me that there was no where on their website that promised the real event tickets... my retort was... you're right just as there is no where on the website that says you WON'T get them. He informed me that he didn't feel Ticketmaster should have to divulge that information when it's never an option to begin with. Then tried telling me that because I can't find the actual photos of the real tickets on their website that they aren't available but I know several people that have them not to mention had I known that I couldn't get the tickets the right way I would have gone to the track on Sunday and gotten what I wanted to begin with for probably 250 dollars less. He told me to take it up with the Speedway and they do not feel they misrepresented at all what I would be getting. Then gives me 2 phone numbers that aren't accepting phone calls. Not happy with Ticketmaster and will never again buy from them... ever.

My son purchased tickets for an event at $484. Our travel plans changed so I called 4 weeks before the event to exchange them and was told since they were on his Ticketmaster account I needed them transferred to my account - so he transferred them to me. (1 hour of phone time) When I called to exchange them another representative advised they had to be transferred back to the original purchaser's account, so I transferred them back (1 hour of phone time). When I called back to exchange them I was told that they could not be exchanged for a different night - just different seats for the same night - WHY WASN'T I TOLD THAT TO BEGIN WITH? I was then told I had to contact the venue to get approval to exchange them for a different night. (1 more hour on the phone). I contacted the box office and they sent an email to get Ticketmaster to exchange them. TM didn't. I called the venue again and they again sent an email requesting an exchange. TM didn't. I finally had to spend another $484 for new tickets and was going to transfer the original ones to a friend who would be able to use them. THEN I COULDN'T TRANSFER THEM and was told to contact the box office AGAIN. Box office could do nothing and Ticketmaster still would not let me transfer so I am out $484 for absolutely NOTHING. I ALSO WASTED OVER 5 HOURS ON THE PHONE for NOTHING. I will never buy tickets through TM again. I will go with another service or direct to the box office. Wasted so much of my time and I am out $484.

I bought $ 5,400.00 worth of tickets to the Eric Clapton Crossroads concert in LA in September 2023. These tickets were bought directly from Ticketmaster. As the event date got closer, I realized that Ticketmasters dynamic pricing approach resulted in them having lots of unsold tickets available, which they couldn't get rid of. A day or 2 prior to the event they dropped the pricing of a $ 1,500.00 ticket to $ 200.00. At the same time I was trying to re-sell my tickets on the Ticketmaster site (4 seats -$ 5,400.00-bought on the day Ticketmaster made these tickets available, 6 months or so before the event date).
So here is my "rub". I tried to MATCH Ticketmasters ticket pricing with seats Ticketmaster had available literally just next to that of my seats. Ticketmaster listed for $ 200.00 but denied my listing for same price, and rather locked me out of selling since they required for me to list my tickets at a minimum re-sale value of $ 1,200.01 per ticket. This of course so that their tickets could sell first. This effectively prevented me from selling my tickets through Ticketmaster, and Stubhub etc. was not an option since TICKETMASTER were selling steeply discounted tickets on their site. I am not bitter for losing the $ 5,400.00, but I do think it is wrong that Ticketmaster sets a minimum re-sale price for my tickets which was 600% HIGHER than what THEY themselves listed practically the same tickets for. I tried for months to communicate this with Ticketmaster and all of the responses I received were "form" replies and probably from a robot. So, be aware that if you try to resell your tickets on Ticketmaster, they will not allow you to re-list these at a price set by you, they decide the minimum price point for you tickets, In my communications with them they had some excuses as to the fact that Ticketmaster doesnt decide the pricing, but the event organizer does, Well, Live Nation, which Ticketmaster is a subsidiary of, does - so same thing. As you may be aware of, Ticketmaster is in hot water with the US Senate in regards to their ticket practices, so please be aware.

This was my first time selling tickets on Ticketmaster. This story starts out great! Posted my two tickets, and they sold within two days. I get an email letting me know that they sold and I would be paid within 7-10 business days. The day I sold them was MARCH 10,2017. It is now APRIL 13,2017 and I have not been paid! I am so frustrated. MANY emails and phone calls later, I am horrified by the lack of knowledge that the reps have! Not to mention, answers to emails take days! I will give you the quick story to what they told me. FIRST, under your account "payent options", you have BUY & SELL. Well, I set up my sell card option as the same card I used to buy, this was the first NO NO, but they do not tell you on the site to not use the same credit card for both. So that caused a 10 day delay. So, I added a different card under "sell" and was told that this would correct the problem. Another 10 days later, no money and my answer is "it didn't work for some reason". So, at this point I was told to add my checking account, wait 5 days to verify two small deposits, which I did on April 5,2017. I was told that day that NOW the process would restart and I would get my money with 5-7 business days. NOW, on April 12,2017... I get another email saying that my CLAWBACK card, which is my credit card stored under "PAY" is not verified and that is why it is not working! So guess what! I just updated it to yet another credit card. WHEN DO I GET PAID?!?!? I have no idea who can help me and why they do not care that I have not been paid for over a month now. At this point, I am out my tickets, the $315 that I spent on them, and Ticketmaster has been paid twice sitting there with all that money... All the while, not paying me what is due to me! PLEASE Ticketmaster give me my money!

Bad bad bad company
June 12, 2023

Horrible vermin company that I will never ever spend another penny with.
Shocking service all round, blunt answers when getting customer service, they never ever put the customer first and are a set of money grabbing you know whats.
Don't waste your time with Ticketmaster use Skiddle instead.
Payed for VIP WEEKEND PARKLIFE TICKET in total came to £200 due to a payment plan (there is absolutely no need to add money on to a payment plan when you make enough as it is) couldn't resell over twitter or TicketSwap as Ticketmaster made it next to impossible with the stupid barcodes they have brought out. Only option to resale is through Ticketmaster resell and it's the biggest waste of time known to man, you will never get what you payed back because they add more money onto it once you list it for resale, after making even more on me doing a payment plan.
Then when I couldn't make the event due to a close family funeral, when I couldn't resell because of Ticketmasters resale section, they refused to refund me. They refused to refund a loyal customer for years. I told them I didn't expect a full refund i only expect face value for the ticket none of the extra costs and they still wouldn't comply. So I ended up transferring my ticket to someone for £75. Thanks Ticketmaster.

I am absolutely livid with Ticketmaster and their despicable practices that allow promoters and venues to get away with straight-up robbery! It's beyond infuriating that they permit these deceitful promoters to advertise concerts with a specific lineup, only to turn around and change it after people have already forked over their hard-earned money for tickets. And to add insult to injury, Ticketmaster has the audacity to refuse refunds to the misled customers! Ticketmaster allowed the venue/promoter to promote a concert with Tamar Braxton in the middle of the flyer for a show in St Louis on 2/18. After I purchased tickets, Tamar Braxton was removed from the flyer and Ticketmaster refuses to issue a refund.

This is nothing short of a scam, facilitated by Ticketmaster's complicity. It's crystal clear that Ticketmaster is prioritizing their profits over the rights and satisfaction of their customers. Allowing promoters to pull the rug out from under unsuspecting concert-goers and pocket their cash without providing any recourse is utterly reprehensible.

Customers shouldn't have to suffer the consequences of Ticketmaster's lack of oversight and accountability. It's outrageous that they are turning a blind eye to this blatant theft. By enabling promoters to engage in this deceptive practice, Ticketmaster is essentially condoning theft and fraud. BE WARE IF YOU ARE PURCHASING TICKETS FROM TICKETMASTER that has multiple artist on the line up. If the line up changes after you purchase tickets, Ticketmaster doesn't care and won't help you get a refund because profit means more to them than customer satisfaction.

Worse Experience
July 28, 2021

I purchased tickets earlier this month for a concert in Las Vegas. I have tried to contact Ticketmasters and there is no way to speak to a "LIVE PERSON". I used the app as they suggested to contact them and after sending the email to contact them they declined my refund with in seconds of my email to them on the basis that the time limit was passed. I have no idea what they meant by that as the date of my tickets was at the end of August and it is now only July 28th. They did say I could sell them online but don't offer that for this event and transfering is not an option as I live out of state of the venue. I have proof that indeed my canceling was not of my own doing as I have recently been diagnosed with a condition that gives me extenuating circumstances and would have loved to see the concert but it seems like the pandemic has resurfaced like the beginning of last year and my Doctor said it's too risky to travel right now with the new variants and my medical condition regardless of me already being vaccinated. I was able to cancel my tickets at all other venues with no problem. I would like to give a shout out to Vegas.com they were truly a pleasure to work with and I trust them totally as they understood and it was no problem to request a refund given the circumstances so I recommend Vegas.Com for tickets to tours or shows 100%. They are trustworthy TICKETMASTERS on the other hand were a disappointment. I purchased the insurance from them due to the $380 price tag of my tickets to be safe for other tickets as they suggested and there are so many stipulations I found out after purchasing that I do not reccommend buying insurance for events or tours as it seems to be a waste of money through TICKETMASTERS. Shame on them for being so inconsiderate. No customer service. Buyers Beware. No human contact is strictly automated unlike others who have offered either live service or automated for help.
