Went to purchase tickets for a child's show, I could have bought another ticket and a half if I had paid their "fees!" Why do venues use these thieves!? As you can see in the photos, the FEES are ALL Ticketmaster! Even the "facility fee." I paid 69.50 per ticket X 4, the face value at the Venue! There was no facility fee, processing fee or service fee. NONE. Isn't processing and service the same thing? Ticket master are crooks! I went to the venue and saved almost a 100$ in FEES! Well worth the drive. The only way I can not pay these ridiculous fees is by going in person. Venues should just set up online purchasing through them, do $5 a ticket flat fee and would still make money. Everywhere, except "paid" endorsements does TM have more than a 1 star rating! Wake up venues and stop allowing Ticketmaster to rob your guests! LETS PUT THEM OUT OF BUSINESS! DO not use them! Go to the venue whenever possible and do not hand over your hard earned money!
What other entertainment related company has survived for so long after repeatedly displeasing so many millions of customers. Probably the most consistently frustrating on line user experience I have ever encountered. They truly suck.
As a lover of music, attending concerts is a life-changing experience. So when I stumbled upon this company selling concert tickets, I was overjoyed. While their website was easy to navigate and their selection was impressive, I did experience a slight hiccup in receiving my ticket via email. However, I contacted their customer service team a few times and each time they were extremely helpful and diligent in resolving the issue. It's great to see a company that not only offers amazing products, but also prioritizes their customers and goes above and beyond to ensure a positive experience.
I have had maybe 6 or 7 experiences buying from, or attempting to buy from, Ticketmaster now. While I'm sure they could be worse, I think for how many artists use them for initial ticket sales, they are disorganized and dishonest. I'm surprised they're even allowed to sell those marked up "platinum" tickets as quickly as they do. A half hour into a sale, tickets that were originally $200 are suddenly $1,200. They used to have a customer service line and an automated phone line you could call to buy tickets, but of course they got rid of those. Buying tickets for highly popular shows is now even more difficult than it already was. Of course, there's always resale, but obviously that markup is going to be insane more often than not. Basically, if you're buying for any show with any sort of demand, you're probably screwed. So good luck!
Ticketmaster, like all of them, insist on their services fees, but they gotta get paid, too. Yes, they are high but I'm only here to say that this is a very professional website to get tickets and I've never had a problem or even a hiccup. The only thing I wish is that if Ticketmaster is the owner of concert tickets then they need to stop the third party websites from sucking up all the seats and selling them for a premium. Maybe I don't know how that works, but everyone should have a chance.
Being elderly, I am not used to the new devices and Ticketmaster helped me through the entire process of securing tickets. I am forever grateful for their "live chat". I would use them again in a heartbeat.
The site says generally pats out for sold tickets in 7 days past event. I still haven't been paid. I have tried calling and no phone support available. I have did chat only to talk to a bot, nobody has responded. I updated my payment info and still nothing. The 7 day payment hasn't been true in my experience. Very very bad customer service. No live person or response to issues.
At least Ticketmaster lists the actual seat numbers you are buying. None of the other sites do, as far as I can tell.
Never use this company especially their french branch
They send me wrong tickets for an event and did nothing...even no try to help.no phone answers.nothing!
So I paid for thing that I havent ordered...
Was number 620 in the queue sat morn July 15, tried 3 times for 2 GA floor tix and got "sorry, another fan already purchased….". Only 300 section tix showing avail. Ticketmaster is the WORST and govt should nix this company.
Can't apply a filter, nothing appears open or available...so annoying when trying to search it places you back to home screen...who has time for that! It's 2023...Come on ticket master "Get it together "!
Bought tickets from site and nightmare began. Calls to various listed numbers ended with taped message that was useless as message simply sent you to another unmanned number. Finally tried email to reset online password which required a code they were to email me. No reply for 12 hours and even then, the number they sent didn't work. So, I have no idea what the status of my order is and apparently, have no way of finding out. Will never use or recommend this service again.
I ordered a movie ticket while on vacation to ensure a seat for a popular movie. It was very easy. I don't need this account and had to read the entire privacy policy to find the link to delete my account. There are no specific instructions for closing accounts. I submitted the form and received an email requiring another step instead of confirmation that it's closed. Update - called *******150. It was not customer service but gave me *******000. Voice mail for that number says it is for order inquiries only. I waited for a agent anyway and the person I spoke to couldn't close my account. She could only submit a request which she said would take up to 10 days. Changed my review to 1 star and added another picture.
I got extremely negative experience with this company. In September, 2022 I bought online a ticket for the Cure concert in Helsinki scheduled for October 8, if I remember right. In the end of September Finland restricted (in fact, closed its border) travelling for Russian citizens. I had to cancel my trip and asked for refund due to force majeure circumstances. I was refused with an explanation "we can not make a refund until Russia is under sanctions". I tried to explain for a few months that neither I, nor my banks were under sanctions, and asked a few times to provide viable legal grounds for their refusal. No result, just fruitless waste of time for communication with them. Effectively, these guys have stolen my money. Be careful with them.
I bought tickets for a birthday present, under the terms that the tickets would be mailed via UPS. Time passed. No tickets. The month of the show, they changed the tickets to Will Call, without notice or consent. I live out of state and cannot pick them up as it was never an event that I planned on attending. Now, due to their complete failure, the tickets are useless to me. Worse, they have the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. No phones. Just bots in a chat who refuse to acknowledge their mistakes, let alone fix them. No comps. They scammed me out of $600. Please I beg you to purchase tickets elsewhere. Ticketmaster is a dangerous company.
Ticket master is straight trash. Paid for tickets on 21 November 2021 and when I got to the show they had disappeared out of my Ticketmaster account. Paid more at the door to get in, and was essentially charged 2x. No customer service, phone call actually hangs up on you and they say they answer emails within 24-48 hours. Lie detector test determines that is a lie. Go to any other vendor for tickets, trust me you don't want this debacle. They suck.
I would recommend that you avoid purchasing your tickets on Ticketmaster. If I had known the service I would receive I certainly would have. I had a close family member pass away and was willing to be fully flexible to either move, exchange, credit or resell my tickets with a month notice. Ticketmaster did not allow me to do any of those options. I cannot believe that in a bereavement situation it is legal to provide no option but to lose your entire purchase value especially when the tickets could be resold with plenty of time. I can't describe the unkindness of the customer service agent either. They're honestly better off paying robots as the people show 0 humanity towards you. If I could give 0 stars I really would. I wish I had read the reviews of this company before purchasing. I will avoid using them again.
One of the worst companies ever. Their site and app rarely work, errors, glitches, inaccessible features, etc. - for example, errors mid-ticket purchase, the sell ticket feature not working, not able to transfer my guest's mobile ticket when at the event so he could get back to his seat after taking a bathroom break. Their customer service is equally as good as their customer service bot, essentially making their customer service non-existent thus getting assistance nearly impossible. Their business practices should be illegal.
Ticketmaster is a scam. I bought tickets to a show that was then rescheduled for a date the following year that I can't make. You'd think I would just be able to get a refund in a situation like that. It's their "policy" that they don't offer refunds, you can only transfer the tickets to someone else (thank you so much for that privilege) or sell them back to Ticketmaster at a fraction of the price you paid. The evil empire of the music world, I'm never buying tickets from them again if I can avoid it.
I bought four online tickets ($500) by mistake to the wrong copa America game taking place at Soldier Field, Chicago. A simple wrong click of mouse.
This is one month ahead of the event. I called them right away to explain it was the wrong purchase and they said they would have to check with the venue (client). They called back saying they can't refund or exchange. I asked to speak with the supervisor but no help.
I have worked in retail and have been a client myself for over 30 years and have never experienced worse customer service. I'm stuck having to go to a game I don't want to watch... Never again dealing with their bs! Oh and if I try to resell the tickets through them, there's a total fee of $200.
Just outrageous. Stay away people...
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
