Ticketmaster is a terrible site that we are stuck with. Example: I waited for show to open got in real quick picked the seats I wanted even were checked green, but missed by a small amount to another person. What did ticketmaster do? Offer me tickets all the way in the nosebleeds even though there we close seats. In short Ticketmaster tried to dump off bad seats to me as if I had no choice. I HATE! This company and after a life long concert going habit, have decided that if the act I want to see is using Ticketmaster as their ticket source I just wont see them anymore.
I was literally having a conversation with an agent who just randomly stopped replying to me out of nowhere when I was just trying to upgrade my ticket. That was literally the last good seat in that section, and they ruined my chance of getting it. Just terrible. Whoever came up with chatting via text and not telephone for customer service really dropped the ball. Just inconsiderate. This is my very first concert. What a distasteful experience to be welcomed to. Thank you for nothing, Ticketmaster.
A gigantic colossal rip off. Tickets to a show in Red Bank $50 each. Then, after, and only after hitting pay, Congratulations! An additional$14 charge per ticket for an email delivery. Ticketmaster fees are hidden.
Have spent hours unsuccessfully trying to buy tickets for Donny and Marie in Las Vegas. The site security which tries to make sure you are not a robot simply does not work. I keep getting the message saying that the map is acting up. Nor can you buy tickets over the phone as they are too busy presumably dealing with hundreds of dissatisfied customers. When you finally get to buy your ticket you are then charged another 20 percent for extra charges. Suggest you buy your tickets elsewhere.
I ordered tickets for a show as soon as it listed and have received nothing in return, a total of 160 dollars and I can't get anyone to reply to my calls, emails, or social media messages... by far the worst management of sales I've seen. Definite ill intent, by my eyes they're doing this on purpose
Unhelpful company
I have an account I have used for years. Not signed in for awhile so I attempted to sign back in creating a new password. It asked for a verification code via my mobile which I entered correctly and everytime I refreshed page and entered the number it didn't send the code. I emailed customer support as stupidly there isn't a number for the UK in which they told me my number isn't on the Acc. They gave me a code to sign in only for it to ask for my password reset. This isn't what I needed but did it anyways. I decided to created a new account under a different email. This doesn't work either. I contacted ticketmaster on twitter (X) but they told me to email. Then I got frustrated and demanded they deactivate my account in which they said they can't and it has to be me that does it. So now i can't retrieve my tickets and I have wasted my time and my issue is still remained unfixed. I WILL NOT be using this ticket service again...ever. They didn't think ahead when they changed the security authentication as you log in. Completely unhelpful. I have been a customer of this company for years and never experienced anything Like it.
Tried on my account and created 2nd account to buy tickets. Wasted over 30 minutes, No call backs after leaving messages. Called multiple times. Should be talk about 40% fee on tickets. I hate dealing with company every time and finally leaving a review on it.
If you have any sort of issue at all with tickets you sold or bought, good luck. Ticketmaster does not wish to help you out whatsoever, and they'll simply offer a dry apology and tell you that there's nothing they can do. If you do need assistance, you're better off calling them (and I had to Google their phone number because it's not listed anywhere on their website). The chat option on their website is useless and you'll have to wait hours if not days for someone to reply, at which point they'll eventually stop responding to you.
I bought tickets for a lesser known band. The $60 ticket had over $20 of Ticketmaster fees. That's 1/3 the price of the ticket. What does the band get? Rip off.
I think Ticketmaster uses their own bots to increase ticket prices. They have the box to check that you're not a bot before you buy a ticket. But Ticketmaster says still they have bots buying large amounts of tickets. Why? Only explanation is it's their own Ticketmaster bots. Later you hear about seat fillers at some concerts.
I've lost interest in Ticketmaster rip offs. Increasingly reluctant to buy concert tickets. Listen online instead and save $$$. Even before bots, I would go online first few minutes of sale and be offered lousy seats.
Horrible experience, do not buy anything from them. I bought tickets on ticketmaster.ca for a show in Canada, but now cannot access or print them from the browser. The website tells me to download the ticketmaster app on my phone, but since they issue different versions of their app for different countries and I have a European Google Play Account, I can only download the application for Europe.
However, the European ticketmaster app is apparently not compatible with the North American one, I am unable to select "Canada" for the login and therefore cannot access my ticket at all. According to the ratings of their mobile apps on the Google Play Store (1.9 out of 5 stars, wow!), many people have this exact issue. This is simply ridiculously bad software engineering.
Tried to contact their support but won't get my hopes up.
Will probably need to tell my bank to take the money back from this company.
Avoid them if you can.
I tried to buy tickets to a professional sports game for a group of 15 people. However, Ticketmaster flips out if you attempt to buy over 9 tickets. Therefore, I had to make two accounts, with two different emails to try and get the remaining six tickets. After I sign in to my new account, and typed in all the billing info, I pressed submit order. Guessed what happened next? The screen read "Sorry, this exceeds your ticket limit". Then returns me to the home page.
Why does ticketmaster release all venue sales for a single tour on one day at the same time, the site is trash and you get verified as a fan but it doesn't do anything. Never asks for a code and you just sit in a line, 2 days before everyone else. Site hasn't moved in 2 hours. If they want to stop bots, go to phone sales or non-transferable tickets. They don't want to stop resale of tickets, they even let you use their site to resell them and make more money on tickets they have already sold.
I sold the Depeche Mode tickets on their website and 2 weeks after the event I am still waiting to get paid. Their policy says that they pay max. 10 days after the event. After sending various messages/emails I still haven't received any real reply and NO MONEY.
Don't trust this awful website with horrendous customer service! Thieves!
The only think they keep saying is "We'll make the payment this week". Why don't you pay me back instead of writing always the same crap? THIEVES!
Its pretty cool, you can browse by genres, dates and even location. Very convenient when you don't have a specific concert in mind but want to just go out in general. Payment was quick and delivery was almost instant.
Today was among the most frustrating consumer experiences I have ever had. Waited four hours to get into the queue and then after making it through the queue I was not allowed to purchase using my cell phone. The message said to make sure I was logged in, which I was. They used my name, so they should have known I was logged in. The message said come back later, which equates to go back to the beginning of the queue. What is the point of being a preferred customer if you can't buy a ticket. Clearly StubHub and other brokers did get through since there are already hundreds of offers for tickets at Quadruple the ticket cost and higher. I am so frustrated. NOT A FAN.
I got a gift card only to find out that these morons only allow you to use it for certain events…. They even told me that my gift card might not be refundable…. I've been in sales for 15 years and I've never had a company tell me hey sorry we can't give you a refund. These people are scam artists and I will never ever ever be buying any tickets from them again. Do not be fooled by them. This is absurd and they deserve to hear about it! Ticket you are scam artists! Great job.
Never received my Football tickets. Didn't even know having to deal with a 3rd party to get tickets was even a thing. Over 2 weeks of customer service telling me that my situation has been escalated and to keep my lines open and someone will contact me with more information and of course never hearing from them. It was like an automated response system. Didn't matter what I said I got the same two responses. Even after the event time past they told me my situation was escalated. Like how? It's over now and my son doesn't get to experience Jump Around at Camp Randall. Now I have to try and get my money back from the Credit Card company because I get nowhere with so called Customer Service. This whole experience was a joke and will never be buying tickets from them again. If anyone reads this and decided to buy tickets anyways good luck. Hope you have better luck than I did. As of right now I'm out almost $200 and a lot time
Accidentally, my friends and I purchased tickets for the wrong date and have been trying to contact ticketmaster to refund them. They will not pick up the phone or respond to our emails accordingly. This is embarrassing for a company of this magnitude. Do better.
- Unhappy customer.
Horrible customer support and no returned money for my tickets. I sold my ticket to Peach Pit in Vancouver on their resale Ticketsmarter. They confirmed that my tickets sold and gave them my banking info as instructed, which they also confirmed went through. They said I would receive my money within 7 days. I checked my account for any initial deposit and they never deposited anything. It has been over a month since this concert and I have called customer support for both companies, neither of them took responsibility and they are unsure why I didn't get my money back yet.
I tried 9 times today to buy Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks tickets. The app tried to call my home phone (no longer active, and I don't even have that number listed anywhere in my account) to provide a verification code, but it was always after the time expired. The computer shows that I can still buy tickets and then gives me 0 minutes to complete my transaction. There is no one to contact and no way to figure out what's going wrong with that site. This is so frustrating because I got in and should have been able to complete this transaction easily. Absolutely nowhere to look for any help. I don't know how they got to be this popular with such horrible service and a horrible website
Answer: I had this exact same problem and after multiple attempts to contact TicketMaster customer service still haven't been able to get this issue resolved. Have been getting the runaround from TM "Fan Support" via Twitter for a week and a half now (PS - Twitter was the only avenue for contacting TM customer service where I actually got a response from someone - had also tried their toll free Cust Svc phone number and got a recording saying that phone number isn't being monitored; also tried emailing their Cust Svc email account and got auto-reply saying that isn't being monitored either and directing me to their Cust Svc FAQs which say that in order to reach Cust Svc, you need to log into your account - but of course I was blocked from being able to do that because they think I'm a bot). Good luck with this - hope you can get a response from them. I still haven't been able to get any resolution of this same issue with my TM account. Once I get this resolved, I'll never do business with them again!
Answer: No, mine was a price jump
