I've become addicted to browsing the site! Everything I've bought has been in good condition. I've sent a few items back because of fit (but that's typical for me no matter where I buy from), and the returns process was simple and timely. I have recommended ThredUp to my friends and family.
My daughter wanted a green princess dress that she could wear for Halloween but also wear for other occasions or school. She was so excited when we found one on Thred Up. Prefect color & size plus it was a great price!

Love buying second hand and ThredUp makes it easier to buy responsibly. Clothes shopping is a favorite pastime but I'll admit the fashion industry is one of the most ridiculous and out of control businesses. I can shop guilt-free with free returns, so I order away and try on everything once it arrives. Only complaint is the website needs some improvements to make shopping easier: 'favorites' function, no reservations, more item info like care instructions (one order consisted of all dry-clean only items which would've been good to know upfront). Would be a five-star rating with those improvements, but overall very happy.
The purse I purchased was categorized as ' looks like new.' When the purse arrived it was anything but looking like new. Felt like a complete waste of money because it was so scuffed and used looking I will not use it. I'd rather have purchased for three times as much new because now I'm out my money and have no usable purse. I'm working on contacting Thredup to obtain a refund or credit or something to make right this situation as their advertising of the purse was very misleading. None of the pictures posted showed the scuffs or the completely rubbed off leather. I'm hopeful they'll make the sutsuation right.
