I have bought everything from a car to shoes on the internet and my latest purchase at target.com has been the worst experience by far. I give them 1 star, because the ease of finding items and purchasing them was acceptable by current standards. After the purchase, everything else has been a nightmare. They sent me the wrong items, and when I called customer service to get it corrected, the agents were only marginally fluent in English, and it was difficult to understand what they were saying. They told me I had to arrange for the return shipments, and that they would immediately ship the items I had originally ordered. This all only took about an hour of waiting on hold. They emailed me shipping labels, but when attempted to print, the function wasn't allowed and a message instructed me to contact the same customer service agents to resolve. On the shipping papers it said I could return the items at a Target store, so I took the items there to avoid the call in customer service, and the manager at the store spent an hour on the phone with the same customer service and after that I was told I couldn't return the items at the store, but that I would have to ship them back to target.com. I just found out yesterday, that they never sent me my original order as I had been told by customer service. Thank you target for taking my money, time, and patients. Clearly, customer service is not one of your priorities.
Target card paid for. Never received confirmation but they sure got the money. Then customer service, which is absolutely horrible hung up on me. TWICE!
I was racially profiled and placed under surveillance by a black male loss prevention associate. This occurred at approximately 3:05-3:10 pm at the Target store located at the Crossroads shopping center in Cary, NC. Forcing black males to follow and harass black females is the new face of racial profiling in retail stores. This is a new trend with an old twist... divide and conquer. Retail stores manipulate their black workers because black people can't discriminate against black people, right? WRONG! Since these black workers are under the direction of white managers and executives, then yes, it is STILL racial profiling and discrimination against black shoppers. All I did was return an item at customer service. Afterwards, I walked into the ladies room and when I came out, there was a black man standing in the entryway to the store staring me down and watching me walk out of the store. Yes, I walked out with the Louis Vuitton handbag that was on my shoulder when I walked in and got into my 2017 BMW SUV, neither of which was stolen or acquired by any illegal means. And, I am a 50 year old homeowner in Cary. I am going to post this message over Instagram and my other social media platforms, as well as send it to the Rev. Al Sharpton's National Action Network. What happened to Starbucks could very well happen to Target and probably should. I cannot be the only black person in Cary to have been treated by Target in this manner.
Taget is the same as walmart just with better products and wider selections. The food section is way smaller though. Target is a little bit more expensive then walmart too.
Good products. It is worth getting a Target Red Card, since you get 5 percent off your entire purchase and their prices are usually lower to begin with.
I use the Target red card - linked to my debit bank account - and get 5% off everything. Plus free shipping for online items. Good prices. Great return policy.
I wish there were a more accurate rating system, while this store has always been great, they have certainly gone downhill. Will try Wally World from now on
Great quality brands for excellent prices and fantastic clearance sales- a busy mom of five's paradise. I can get anything from pots, panties or paper towels!
HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE, HORRIBLE stay away. I love go to Target, and I had the false expectation that their online services were equivalent. Boy was I wrong. I place one order, and a glitch, so they said, led to a duplicate order, when I called the next day they said it was too late to cancel the duplicate. These were sent as gifts to family in another state so it was embarrassing to have to ask them to return to the store the duplicates. A few days later I was charged again for the duplicate orders, Target said they do this once one you place the order and then as the items ship they show up as pending and then will drop off in a few days. So now I have been charged over $500 on my account as pending charges (money you can't access) for one $125 order. I have called several times on this and more recently the lady, Carol I was talking too, was rude, aggressive, and refused to transfer my call to a manager. Instead she hung up on me and I have to call back to request they pull up and listen to the recorded phone call. Unbelievable, I will never shop at target again. They have lost one of their biggest fans.
Lets face facts the only reason most subject themselves to that type of over crowded shopping and the longest lines ever to check out is the money you will save. But the most irritating thing to me is obvious secret shoppers. They are a joke. Around every corner you turn. I can understand that Target is probably suffers contless inventory losses but true story: while I was brousing around the store and being watched by this one 50ish gentleman a lady and her kid were trying shoes on and I watched the women put the new shoes on the kid, she put a new pair on and both used pairs went into the box and they processed to walk around like no big deal. My daughter could not stand it one more time and walked right up to the lead cashier and told her, pointed out the mother and kid and was told sweetie unless we see them do it there is nothing we can do. I told the guy that was following me around and he says sorry lady I don't work for Target. I mean really. So do not wonder why your inventory loss is probably more than the 3% you allow each quarter. Being in retail management for over 20 years I don't miss a thing. This is sad when your employees are trained to ignore this type of blatant theft.
Will never take my kids to your stores ever again! Nor spend a dime in them! Since I don't know what freak will be lurking in the restroom. #Straightpride #1man1woman
Before I chose to use target for my baby registry I was told that anything bought on the registry could be returned in 60 days of purchase. I received a stroller at my baby shower that didn't hold the car seat I also received so one of the Items had to be exchanged in order for me to have a functioning set. When I went to the store to return either or both item I was told I would have to use my ID because the bar code that they pulled up from my baby registry wouldn't work. Plus I still had to get a target gift card even if I used my ID and the amount they would give me on the gift card was only 54% value of what was actually paid for the stroller.
When I went online to use the gift card I traded the car seat for, majority of the car seats that would fit my stroller wouldn't ship to my store, meaning I couldn't get it at all -_-. I don't even live in a small town, I live in the DFW metroplex area!
Target.com not ready for primetime
I placed an order for four sticks of deodorant. Target.com was cheaper than Amazon by a few cents. I placed the order to pick up at my store. Target.com sent me an email saying that only one of the sticks was available at the store for pick up. When I got to the store all four were available. That perplexed the store employees so much that it took at least 45 minutes before they figured out that they could just cancel the online order and sell me the four sticks from the store. When I looked at my credit card bill there were two orders for the sticks still showing. A week later I called the store and they directed me to call Target.com. They stated the target.com with a separate company and they couldn't do anything for me. I called target.com and they told me that I had to deal with the store. It took me another 30 minutes to finally get target.com to reverse the charges to my credit card. Altogether I spent almost an hour and a half to buy four sticks of deodorant. Needless to say it would've been worth the extra pennies to buy from Amazon.com: they have their act together and target.com does not.
I have had a target card for over 20 years now and I absolutely love their department stores, that's about the only department store I shop at faithfully, but, I gotta say I'm real disappointed with their online store, for months I've been trying to get a log-in account created and it states it doesn't recognize me, I've tried every bit of info. About me to get an account started and I'm always denied, I've called customer service about the problem and they seem to try to assist me with this issue, so after talking with them I'll go back to the site like they instruct me too and it's the same ol story each time. It doesn't offer a place on the site to make a payment on your target card, unless that's somewhere in the site for only account users ( I wouldn't know cuz it won't let me register). So to say the least it's been real frustrating since I've been a card holder and regular customer for over 20 yrs. With the same name and info. And yet I don't exist to them online. I would recommend the department store to all but, I can't say that for the online site!
Not trustee it's been more than a month I placed an order online on Sammy dress.com not Target please don't get it confuse Target is the best company I have nothing to say wrong about Target. My Problem it's about SAMMYDRESS.COM that I placed an order and I never received it and they never answer my phone call shame on them I will call the news to tell my experience. About SAMMYDRESS.com not trustee this online company SAMMYDRESS.com
I am very disappointed with the way that Target handles it's online sales notifications. Normally, from Amazon or any of other retail stores, when I place an order I receive a conformation that the order is being processed and that my order will be fulfilled.
When I order from Target, I receive a "Thank you for your Order," notice along with a message that I will receive an email conformation. However, Target does not send the conformation notice. Instead, Target waits until the order is ready for pick-up at the store before sending the confirmation notice.
If the order is late or not received from Target I have been calling my local store to check on the status of my order. However, my Local Target store does not answer their phones (at the Lodi CA store). Target is a great store, however, I find that without the store proving a confirmation notice, I am constantly wondering if the order was processed and if and when the items that I ordered will arrive.
I am limiting my on-line Target shopping at this time.
Fatass $#*! should focus her on her diet instead of others what do you mean i am not paying for my things i obviously am stupid as $#*! with caca attitude stop staring at me ugly $#*!
20 percent cupon if you buy today but when you go to buy at a later date out of stock then 2 days later on sale total ripoff never buy from them again
I love target as a store, but hate the expensive prices for everything. I would say shop there if you want better quaility but not if you are going for cheap groceries.
Answer: Looks like Target has sent a lot of ringers here to up their ratings in the last few months. Nice try guys but your whole shopping experience is still subpar. To answer this question, IT DEPENDS on where you live and what you order. If you're right next to their warehouse, SURPRISE, it's there in a day and you think they are fantastic. If you live far away, the item is no longer in stock or they are slow to fill it, it could take six weeks. It did for us on a couple of occasions, SO it's the luck of the draw and certainly NOT better than Amazon.

Answer: Be careful. If the item suddenly becomes unavailable that you already paid for you will have to wait 30 days for your refund.
Answer: Sometime from other sites, malware can be picked up to track your internet history. I don't think target's website would carry that!
Answer: I'm sorry. I ordered a lot from target.com and never had a problembefore, but when I finally did have a problem... hours and days on the phone. One of the service techs put me on hold for 30 minutes. Another put me on hold for 15 minutes and then hung up. Horrible.
Answer: I was unable to purchase a prepaid phone card with my gift card. This fact was not disclosed in the product description so I found out at the checkout when it was too late. Now am stuck with the useless gift card. I am very disappointed in Target shopping and will never buy anything from them ever again. I do not recommend Target shopping to anyone. Spare yourself some aggravation and shop elsewhere. Enough said.
Target has a rating of 2.2 stars from 1,742 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. Reviewers dissatisfied with Target most frequently mention customer service, gift card and online order. Target ranks 7th among Department Store sites.
